Alice walked out of the room and waved at Kylie.
“Good bye Kylie. See you some other time” she said.

Irene smiled in reply and followed Jackson out of the house.

She got into the car and they drove off.
“What do you think about my family?” He asked.

Kylie glared at him and stared out of the window.
“It’s beautiful. I love your family” she said.

“Ohh, that’s nice” he murmured and focused on the road.
He turned and stare at the necklace she was wearing.

“I wonder why mother got electrified” he thought.

Kylie brought out her phone and saw missed calls from her mother.

“Can you drive a little bit faster? Mom needs me”

“Sure” he said and increased the speed of the car.
Thankfully, they were the only one left on the road.

As they drove pass a very dark street, they heard a cry.
They drove slowly and found a little girl crying by the roadside.

Kylie looked moved by the tears.
“Let’s help her, she must have lost her mother” she said.

“No, I don’t think so” he replied and drove pass her.

“Why? She needs help!” Kylie yelled.

“I don’t think she needs help. That’s the new system of robbing people. If we go out to help her, they will successfully rob us”

“Really?! That’s very bad” Kylie said and turned her neck to stare at the child again.

This time, she saw men with her.
“I guess he’s right” she thought and adjusted her hair.

After some minutes, Jackson pulled over in front of Kylie’s house.

They both alighted from the car and stared at each other.
“It was nice having you around tonight” he said slowly.

“Yeah” she replied and lowered her gaze.

Jackson took few steps towards her and wrapped his arms around her.
Immediately he sniffed her scent, he moved back immediately.

“See you on Monday” he said and quickly left.

He didn’t want her to see his eyes. He stared at the center mirror and saw it was gradually changing.

“I need to leave from here now!” He said and drove off.

Kylie frowned and entered into her house.
She also smiled a little.
That was the first time a guy would hug her.
It felt a little strange.

As she walked into the house, she saw her mother sitting on the sofa.
She walked towards Sarah and sat beside her.

“How was the date?” Sarah asked.

“It was great” she replied.

“Did you have enough to eat or should I make you something?” Sarah stood up.

“No mom, I’m fine. You should go rest now. You’ll be going to work tomorrow” Kylie said staring at her mother.

Sarah touched her cheek.
“You’ve grown so much. Next month, you’ll be eighteen. I know you can’t wait for that” she said.

Kylie squeaked.
“Can’t wait for my birthday”

“No, you also get some sleep” she said.

“Yes Mom” Kylie responded and went to her room.

Monday morning, Kylie got dressed up for school. She wore a simple black gown and a blue shoe.
She held a blue back and also tied her hair to a pony.

The gown revealed the upper part of her br×ast which made her look beautiful that morning.

As she walked on the roadside, some of the students offered her a ride but she neglected them.

As she entered into the school, someone stopped her.
She turned and saw a very cute guy. He was tall and had muscles. He had spiky hair, pink l-ips and brown eyes.

Kylie freed herself from his grip.
“Who are you?” She asked.

“I’m the one you rejected earlier” he said.

“I don’t remember rejecting anybody” she replied with a frown.

“I wanted to give you a ride and you rejected it” he said, this time a little louder.
Everyone’s attention was on Kylie.

Madison and her friends also stood staring at them.
“Why is the handsome senior staring at Kylie that way?” Madison asked.

“He never gets our attention”

“Yeah, me too”

Lily and Cindy walked towards the scene and saw everyone staring at something. They pushed through and also saw the senior talking to Kylie.

“Oh no, what did kylie do?” Lilly murmured.

“I hope she doesn’t get into trouble” Cindy replied.

“I could walk myself to school, that’s why I rejected your offer. Besides, I don’t know who you are” Kylie folded her arm.

“But I know who you are. You are Kylie, the new girl”

“Yeah, everyone knows that. So?” Kylie rolled her eyes.
She did not know what his problem is.
What does he want from her?

He smiled and stepped back.
“Fine, I just want us to be friends. I’m Blake” he said and stretched his hands forward to shake Kylie.

Kylie stared at his hand and shook her head.
“No thank you. You know my name already. I have to leave” she said and walked away from him.

Everyone started to murmur.

“That’s strange. I haven’t seen the senior talk to any junior before. Seem like he likes Kylie” Lilly said with her eyes wide opened.

“Whatever. Let’s go” Cindy said and walked into the school.

Kylie was the talk of the day. Jackson also heard what she did and was happy she rejected the ride and handshake.
He turned his head to stare at Kylie, she was busy chatting with Lilly and Cindy.

“You look dull today, what’s up?” Cindy asked.

“I don’t know Cindy. I’m just angry” she replied.

“Why? Did Madison look for your trouble this time? Again?” Lilly asked.

“No, I..I.. do you remember our sleepover night?”
They nodded.

“I lost my cat. I found it lying dead and it seemed like it was bitten” she said.

Cindy swallowed hærd.
“Oh no, I forgot to bury the cat” she thought.

“Really Cindy, why did you kill the cat?” Jackson asked Cindy through his mind.

“I.. I don’t know. It was Kylie. When she came out of the bathroom, I couldn’t resist her scent. I had to run out to calm myself” she replied back.

“Nice try Cindy. You’ve become a bad friend” Madison added.

Cindy and Jackson turned and shot her a hærd glare.

“I’m really sorry about what happened Kylie. You were looking happy when you came to my house on Saturday, so don’t be..”

Madison heard that and quickly sprung up.
“You took her to your house Jackson?!” She yelled.

Jackson slapped his forehead and stared at her.
“Why yelling?” He asked..

Madison shook her head.
“I was supposed to be the one. I don’t know why you took her with you” she asked again.

“It’s none of your business Madison” he said with anger in his voice.

Madison turned to face Kylie. She slammed her table hærd and brought her face closer to hers.
“The game just begun” she said and left.

Kylie rolled her eyes and relaxed in her chair.
Chris walked into the class, staring at Kylie.

He shook hands with Jackson and sat in front of him.

“Hey Kylie?” He greeted weirdly.

Kylie gave him a quick smile and looked away.

She has been avoiding eye contact with Jackson since this morning.

Finally, their history teacher entered the class and the class was in order.

When it was lunch, Kylie, Cindy and Lilly sat together.
They were talking about random things.

“I’m actually still looking for a date for prom night. I can’t be single that day” Cindy said and adjusted her hair.

Kylie laughed.
“Well, is it necessary?” She asked.

“Please Kylie, be present” Lilly begged.

“Well, I’ll try” she replied.

“Trust me, Jackson will ask you out very soon” Cindy said.

“Oh please. There’s nothing going on between both of us” Kylie said and sipped from her juice.

“Oh really?!” She asked, raising up her eyebrows.

“Oh my world, the senior is here. Why did he come to the Junior’s canteen?” Lilly said.

Kylie looked back and saw him walking towards their table.

Some of the ladies had their eyes on him, even Cindy.

Jackson and Chris frowned when they saw him at first.
“I wish to get rid of him once and for all” Jackson said squeezing his fist.

“You need to calm down man. Besides, are you two dating yet?” Chris asked.

Jackson neglected his question and stared at the way Blake sat close to Kylie. He was smiling at her and touching her hair.

“Maybe he want to ask her to be his date for prom night” Chris said.

“Prom night?” The word kept ringing in Jackson’s brain.

He quickly stood up and walked towards the table.

“Uh, Kylie. Can you give me a second?” He asked.

Kylie stared at her friends and slowly stood up.
But Blake didn’t let her go.
He held her wrist tight.

“She’s not going anywhere. As you can see, I’m with her” Blake said.

“Oh, I’m not blind. I just have to see her then I’ll return her back to you” Jackson said calmly.

“No!” Blake yelled.

Jackson pulled Kylie’s left hand while Blake pulled her right hand.

“Let go of her!” He yelled.

“I’m the senior. I command you to let go right now!” Blake yelled in reply.

Everyone kept on staring at them.
Kylie was frustrated, she angrily left them.

“What do you want to.say to me? Huh?” She asked them both.

“I wanted to.. uh uh”

“You see. I just.. uh, wanted to..”

Kylie rolled her eyes and walked away from them.

“Be my date!” They both said at the same time.

Kylie heard that and stopped.
