💋 Chapter Thirty Four 💋

EXCLUSIVELY ON DREAME

Kylie ran into her chamber and fell on the bed.
She dug her head into the pillow and burst into tears.

She just wanted to be left alone.
As she cried, she remembered everything that she’s done with her mother.
Her birthday was the day they spent quality time together.

Even throughout her exam period, her mother gave her some space so that she could study well.
After the exam, when she could be with her mother. The bloody vampires killed her, they took her away from Kylie.

She sat up and wiped her tears.
“No, no. I’m not going to cry. I’m Kylie, I’m strong. I am a demigod!” She yelled.

Immediately, all the glass in her room broke into pieces including her mirror.

She held her bed spread tight and breath hærd.
She saw the reason why her mother always warned her not to get angry.

Kylie stared at her hands which was boiling red.
She stood up and walked towards the broken mirror and took the large piece.
She stared at her reflection and touched her hair.

Jasper and Elina were in the spell room.
Jasper was reading a book while Elina was walking to and fro in front of Jasper.

He raised his head and stared at his mother.
“What is it mother?” He asked.

“I’m thinking about Kylie. She has gone through a lot. Her mother, now her father who she has been looking for over how many years left her for the second time. We need to do something”

“Something like what mother?” He asked and closed his book.

“We should teach her how to protect herself. How to use her powers”

“I’m doing that already. She’s reading the spell books” he replied.

Elina went close to Jasper and grabbed his shoulders.
“No Jasper, no. Kylie isn’t like us. She’s more. Her powers can work even when she’s far from the coven” she said.

“What do you mean?”

She sighed and sat beside her son.
“Why couldn’t Sarah protect herself from the vampires when they attacked? She was weak. She has stayed away from here for a very long time, making her powers to fade away slowly” she explained.

Jasper slowly turned his head away from his mother.
“I see. So Kylie has special abilities”

“A lot… And we need to find them out slowly so that we can help her work on them”

“I’ll go check on her now. We’ll start the training tomorrow”

“Just be careful around her”

Jasper nodded and left the room.

Elina exhaled deeply as she watched her son disappear from the spell room.

Jasper entered into Kylie’s chamber and saw the shattered glass everywhere in her room.

“Kylie?” He called out.

“What?”

He heard a quick reply from behind and turned to see a new Kylie.
Her hair was white and shaggy.

“You… You cut your hair” he said.

“Obviously, how’s it?” She asked.

Jasper swallowed hærd before answering.
“It’s beautiful. Where did you get that dye from?”

“I’ve always wanted to dye my hair so I hid it in my camp bag. Crazy huh?”

Jasper nodded and looked round the room again.
“What happened here?”

“I don’t know. The glasses don’t like me” she said jokingly, without smiling.

Jasper turned to stare at her.
“We need to talk about you Kylie”

“I’m listening” she said and sat on the woody chair beside her.

“Uh, mom says you have special abilities and we should work on that so that you can protect yourself… You know from the vampires”

“I’m learning though and I think it’s fun” she said and raised her hand.

Jasper started floating on the air. He started shivering. He looked down and saw that Kylie was taking him high.

“That’s good Kylie. Put me down now”

She slowly dropped him till his feet touched the floor.
“See…” She said.

Jasper stared at her.
“Well, that’s really good. Is there any other thing you can do?”

“I don’t know yet. Can you know if my father is alright?”

Jasper shook his head.
“I don’t know. I know he’s able to take care of himself”

She nodded and left her chamber.

Jasper looked up and stared at his own hands. He never imagined Kylie could do something like that.
That was the first time that a demigod would last like that so they aren’t sure what their powers are like.

Robby stood in front of the dark mansion. He remembered when last he was at this mansion. The day Bob crowned himself as the next head of the vampires.

He ran away when Bob told them to go after him.
Now, he is coming back here himself.

He threw the gates opened and went into the mansion.

Bob was sipping from his wine when one of the vampire ran to him.

“My lord, he is here!”

“Who is here?!” Bob yelled. He was angry that he disturb his peaceful night.

“Robby is here”

Bob spat out the wine and threw the glass on the floor.
“What!”

“You don’t need to be surprised cousin. I’m not here to kill you”

Bob stood up and hid behind his throne.
“Step back Robby”

“I see you are still scared of me. That’s why you can’t come face me by yourself, right?”

Bob started to shiver. He knew Robby was one of the fastest and strongest vampire.

Robby moved closer to him.
“I’m here to make a deal and not to kill you. Trust me if I wanted to kill you, I would have done that a long time ago. I have my ways. Seem like you don’t know that I killed three of your spies and sent one to you. I also killed the five outside that you asked to protect the mansion. Seriously Bob, you aren’t training this vampires at all. You are not doing the duties you supposed to be performing. Even Dad will be ashamed of you”

“What deal did you want?” Bob asked as he slowly walked out of his hiding s₱0t.

“I know you are after my daughter and you want to kill her so badly. You also want me. I’ve brought myself to you. Take me and leave my daughter”

Bob burst into laughter.
“You are surrending yourself huh?”

“Exactly” he said.

“Just because of your little eighteen years old daughter. Just give up on her. Besides, how are you not sure that I’m not going to betray you”

“You are a betrayer, I know that very well. But if you want to continue sitting on that chair, do not betray me. Leave my daughter alone!”

“Take him!”

Some vampires that were hiding came out and held Robby. They were scared to go close to him but Robby told them to go on.

“Where should we take him?”

“Take him to his pathetic brother. Let them share some moments with each other before they both die”

They nodded and gently pulled Robby to the dungeon.

They threw Robby into the dungeon and locked the door.

Robby turned and saw Henry.
He walked towards him and sat with him.

“Hey brother, it’s been a long time” he said.

Henry stared at him and smirked.
“We are going to die and our cousin will be the one to kill us”

“Does that bother you?” Robby asked.

Henry sobbed and gave a wry laugh.
“I don’t want to die” he said.

“Don’t be too scared. How did you end up here?” Robby asked.

“I don’t have any idea. I was attacked and I found myself here. Bob rescued me from the coven few days ago when they attacked the vampires. He forced me to spill out some secrets which I did”

“And what was that?”

Henry faced his brother with his sweaty face.
“Sarah’s name. He was looking for the demigod”

Robby laughed.
“I’ve found her. I’ve seen my daughter after how many years. She’s very beautiful and nice too”

Henry coughed for almost five minutes.

“What happened?” He asked and helped Henry.

Henry turned and stared at his brother.
Robby saw that his eyes were gold already.
He was very thirsty.

“You need blood”

He nodded.

“Fine” Robby stood up and went to the gate.

“Hey! Excuse me!” He yelled.

A vampire walked towards him.
“What do you want?” He asked.

“Come, I want to tell you a secret”

He frowned and brought his head closer to Robby.

Robby quickly brought his hands through the gate and snapped his neck.

He took his arm and bit it.

“Here..” he said to his brother.

Henry crawled towards the dead body and s×¢ked out the blood from his hand.

Robby went back to sit while his brother drained the blood from the vampire.

“I hope Kylie doesn’t know that I’ve been kidnapped. I don’t want her to come here at all. She should be protected. Please, save her!”

💋 Chapter Thirty Five 💋

Robby and Henry were woken up by Bob who repeatedly hit his long staff on the iron gate.

He stared at the lifeless body in front of him and shook his head.
“I know this was your doing Robby” he said and moved closer to the gate.

Robby blinked repeatedly and rubbed his eyes with the back to his palm so that he could see clearly.
“Why are you here now?”

“I just came to see my cousins or is it a crime?” He asked.

Henry just gazed at Bob with anger in his eyes.
He wished he could tear him apart.

“You are such a bad person Bob. You freed me and brought me back here” he grinned his teeth and tightened his fist.
His eyes turned red while his fangs grew longer.

Robby held his brother’s hand to calm himself down.
Henry was the kind of person with anger issues.
It was uncontrollable sometimes.

His fangs became shorter and his eyes were back to normal.
He started panting hærd like he was in a race.

“So, what are you gonna do to us Bob?” Robby asked and leaned on the wall with his back.

An evil smile crept on Bob’s face as he wrapped his fingers around one of the bar iron.
He leaned his face on the gate, staring at them with fake pity.

“I don’t know what to do to you yet”

“Are you going to kill us the same way you killed Sarah? I heard about it”

Bob furrowed his eyebrows.
“From who?” He asked too soon.

“It’s doesn’t matter, you will regret killing her. I’m sure my daughter is planning something against you”

Bob burst out into laughter.
He laughed for a very long time and finally cleared his throat.

“An eighteen year old girl can’t beat me. If she tries any crap, I’ll kill her place her f×¢king dead body here so that you can stare at it as you rot in jail”

Robby gave a wry laugh.
He swiftly stood up and grabbed Bob by his neck.
“I should have killed you but no, I want her to kill you herself. It would be a big shame to you. But if you try anything, remember we have a deal, I promise to kill you myself then” he said and threw him.

He flew and landed on the floor.
Bob gr0-ned in pain and sat up.

He watched as Robby went back to sit with his brother. He saw a weird smile on his face which he doesn’t understand at all.

He quickly stood up and left the dungeon.

He got to his throne and sat on it.
The image of Robby throwing him repeatedly played in his mind.

“The demigod can’t kill me, she’s not up to my standard. I know that, I’m very strong” he murmured and nodded his head.

Kylie and Jasper went to the city to buy some stuffs.
Kylie wanted to change her dressing.
She wanted to look more like a bad girl with leather pants and cool jacket.

They bought clothes and some other groceries.
They head to the car and stuffed everything into it.

As Kylie was about to enter the car, she heard her name.

She and Jasper stopped and looked where the voice was coming from.

She rolled her eyes when she saw it was Madison and of course, she wasn’t alone.
Jackson was there with her.

She just love to cling herself around Jackson like a b!tch.

She slammed the door close and waited for them to walk close to her.

Jasper stood at the other side of the car, also waiting.

“Oh my gosh, check out the new haircut. It’s very… Unlike you” Madison commented.

“Was that the reason for your calling?” She asked and folded her arm.

Madison stared at Jackson and rolled her hair with her index finger.

“I just wanted to show you the beautiful necklace that Jackson gave me. Doesn’t it look beautiful?” She asked.

Kylie stole glances from Jackson and quickly looked away because she caught him also staring at her.

“It’s so beautiful” she replied.

Madison giggled and kept on touching the necklace.

Immediately, they both received a notification.
They stared at their phone and looked at each other.

Kylie knew that something was suspicious.
She wished she could know what they just received.

“What’s that?” She asked.

“It’s nothing actually” Madison replied.

“Don’t tell her anything, we need to leave immediately”

“I can’t believe Bob finally caught Robby. I need to see Robby. I heard he’s cute”

“Cut it out Madison”

“Sure, let me finish talking to this dimwit”

Kylie heard all of their thoughts.
“Father has been kidnapped. How’s that possible? He said he was going to protect himself, now what?” She thought and turned back to stare at Jasper who was just busy eating corn dogs.

“So, any plan for…”

“I have to go. Bye” she quickly said and entered the car.

Jasper threw the stick at Jackson but it just fell in front of him without touching him.

“Bye dude” he said jokingly and drove off with Kylie.

Madison frowned.
“That’s rude. Why did she leave like that?”

“Let’s go Madison” Jackson said.

“Wait, why didn’t you talk to her at all? Are you both actually done?” She stopped him from going.

“I don’t know about that. We didn’t break up. But if it’s over to her, then it’s the same to me” he replied and left.

Madison smiled and ran after Blake with her short flay gown.
“I think it’s over for her!!” She yelled and met with him.

Jasper drove fast into the woods.
He stared at Kylie countless number of times and noticed her mood.

“What happened Kylie? You look… Expressionless” he said.

“I heard their thoughts. It seem like Bob summoned them to the dark mansion again”

“Did you hear the reason?”

“Dad has been kidnapped. They took him” she said.

Jasper exhaled deeply and reduced his pace.
“I know you are angry right now, but I promise that they won’t harm your father”

She nodded her head.

He smiled and stared at her again.
She was still looking down.

“Is this about Jackson?” He asked again.

“I don’t know Jasper. He was like Madison should not tell me what’s up when I asked. That’s unlike him” she said.

“Are you done with him?”

“I don’t know. We didn’t break up. But if he said it’s over for him, it’s the same for me too”

“I think it’s over for him” Jasper said.

Kylie sighed.
“I will work so dearly on my powers. I’ll revenge for my mother’s death and I will kill every one of them”

“You know they are like thousands of them. They keep infecting innocent ones every four moon. It’s Bob’s new rule. He wants the vampires to be superior and have large numbers”

“I don’t care Jasper. I’ll kill them and I don’t care what it cost me. As long as I revenge for my mom’s death and if they end up hurting my dad. It’s gonna be a double crime for them”

Jasper smiled.
“I like you… I mean, your spirit. You’ve known people’s thought, what are my thoughts?”

Kylie stared at him and shut her eyes.

“You are starving and can’t wait to take a nap. Seriously?” Kylie laughed.

“No no, not that. My thoughts… Towards you” Jasper said.

She shut her eyes again and listened to his mind.
Immediately, she shut it wide open.

“You have feelings for me?” Kylie asked.

“Is that what my thoughts said?” He asked.

Kylie chuckled silently and lowered her gaze.

“What are you thinking?”

“Nothing in particular. Just everything that has happened since I got to the city. I got into a good school, found new friends, date a vampire, found out I’m a demigod, mom’s a witch, Dad’s a vampire and everything. It’s just almost impossible. Like, something I never thought would happen” she said, breathing hærd.

Jasper chuckled and stared at her.
He focused on the road and quickly diverted her gaze to her.

Immediately, he stopped the car.
They both stared at each other.

“What happened?” She asked.

“You… Your eyes, they are gold” he said.

She stared at her reflection at the front mirror and saw her eyes. They were really gold, but just light gold.

“What does it mean? Is it something bad?” She asked, panicking already.

“Calm down. It’s just light gold, not worse already. Let me get you a…”
He pushed his hands into the stuff they bought, as he tried to look for the meat he bought.

Something pricked his hand and he immediately withdraw it.
“Ouch…” He said.

Kylie stared at the blood that was on his finger and raised her head to stare at Jasper.

He saw her eyes were deep gold already. She was really thirsty for blood. Now that she has sighted Jasper’s blood…

“Oh no!” Jasper murmured.
