The other vampires stared at Bob’s body as he became lifeless.

Some were happy that he was gone.
They never wanted him since day one.

Kylie went to her father and released him from the trap.
As he landed on the floor, Kylie quickly hugged him.

“I killed someone dad” she said and whimpered slowly.

“It’s okay Kylie, I understand” he said, touching her head.
He doesn’t have any idea how to be a father, he was learning.

“We are sorry Kylie about Jackson’s betrayal, I wish none of this happened” Alice apologized.

Cindy and Madison walked towards Kylie and her father.
“Thank you for saving my life Kylie” she said.

Kylie hugged her.
“I’m glad that you are safe, don’t listen to what I said earlier. I don’t want you dead” she said.

“I get it” Cindy smiled in reply

“I know this is not a time to joke. You were cool Kylie. I really like the new you” Madison said.

Kylie slapped her arm.
“Very funny Madison” she said.

“We’ll take care of the body. You can both leave” Dylan said, inspecting jackson’s body.

“We need another head. Who’s going to lead us?” One of the vampires asked.

“The rightful head is here with us. Robby would do that, right Robby?”

Robby lowered his gaze and shook his head.
“I don’t really know about that. I need to spend some time with my daughter before thinking about anything” he said.

They all looked away from him. They understood already.

Kylie hugged Robby’s arm.
“Let’s go dad” she said.

He nodded and they walked out of the scene.

Kylie stared at Jackson’s body once again before she left.

Madison held Cindy back.
“Let’s go Cindy. You don’t need to witness this” she said.

Cindy sobbed and followed Madison out of the woods.

It was late already. They buried both bodies and cleared the whole area.

Kylie opened the door and went into the house with her father.

He looked round with confusion on his face.
“The same location but different look” he said.

“Well, let’s just say it was renovated” she said.

Jasper heard her voice from his room, he quickly ran downstairs and hugged kylie.

“I’m glad that you are back” he said and freed her from his grip.
He knew that if her father wasn’t there, he would have hugged her for a long time and k××sed her.

“Welcome home sire”Jasper said.

Robby nodded his head.
“I’m proud of you for taking good care of her”

Jasper just replied with a smile.
“Jackson really helped you find your father. I never knew he would do that”

Kylie paused and lowered her gaze.
“He did help me but just for his selfish reason. He handed me over to Bob and Bob killed him. Well, I saw that coming” she said.

Jasper shot his mouth wide open in shock and surprise.
“What?! I meant double what?!” He yelled.

“And Kylie killed Bob” Robby concluded.

Jasper stared at Kylie.
“You killed Bob?” He asked.

She nodded.

“Tell me more… Mom would be so happy. Now the witches can wander around without any interference from Bob” he said and hugged Kylie.

“Thanks Kylie. Welcome back again Robby” he said and ran upstairs to tell his mother the good news.

Kylie smiled and sat beside her father.
“So father… Do you intend to be the head?” She asked.

“If they want me to…” He replied.

“Well I want you to be the head so that the witches and the vampires would become one” she said.

Robby gave a quick laugh.
“I wish that’s possible. For centuries, they haven’t stayed together that’s why having a demigod is a big taboo. But you…you are a blessing to me”

“Thanks dad. I’ll get you something to eat now. You must be hungry” Kylie stood up.

Robby stopped her by holding her arm.
“Why don’t we go for a hunt? I’m thirsty as damn”

“Sure dad” she grabbed her jacket and head out of the house with him.

“I hope Henry is out of the dungeon” he said as they walked down the street, towards the woods.

“Who’s that?” She turned her neck to face her father.

“My brother” he replied.

“What? I have an uncle?”

He nodded.

Kylie closed her mouth.
“I wish to meet him soon”

“Of course you will. Let’s hurry now!” He said and swiftly ran into the woods, using his powers.

Kylie chuckled and went after him.

They both spent the whole midnight, biting and s×¢king.

Jasper was trying to communicate with his mother and he finally did.

He told her the good news and she was more than happy.

“That’s one of the reasons why I wanted to keep her” she said.

“Hehe… Mom, Robby is also back”

“I should have expected that. I hope they are catching fun together. I know what Kylie has been going through. She really wants to spend time with her father”

“Yes Mom. Don’t you think we should do a little celebration since Bob’s dead?” Jasper nodded. He missed parties.

“Of course I would. Saturday evening, make sure Kylie and Robby comes to the hangout. I’ll text you the time. We would hold a celebration and a welcome home party”

“That’s more like it” Jasper said.
“Gotta go now, got to go to school tomorrow” he said.

“Sure, good night sweetie”

“Bye mom” he replied and disconnected the call.

He fell on his bed, wishing he could cast spells and do magic but magics are always weak whenever you are not in the hangout.
Your powers becomes very weak if you’ve been away from the hangout for a long time.

He tried to do something but it didn’t work.
He gr0-ned and turned with anger, trying to sleep.

He missed Kylie already but did not want to spoil a father-daughter moment.

He slowly shut his eyes and tried to sleep.

Kylie and Robby walked back to the house, talking about random things.
She liked the way she catch things up with her father.
He was a very easy person. That was why mom fell in love with him.

She took basically all his physical characters.

“How did you meet mom?” She asked.

“A war.. there was a vampire-witch crisis centuries ago. While we were fighting, I almost killed Sarah in the war. But I helped her instead by giving her water.
We became secret friends and then, we fell in love with each other”

“Woah” kylie murmured.

“That’s not all. She got pregnant for me and decided to leave the hangout so they won’t find out. She stayed at an old friend of hers who knows about her secret. We met there almost all the time but the old lady didn’t like me a bit” he said.

Kylie have a gentle laugh. She knew that he was talking about Sasha.

“That must be Sasha. She’s dead also. Bob killed her with mom” she said slowly and with a pitiful voice.

Robby held her shoulder and walked her home.
Anytime kylie remembers her mother, she feels heartbroken immediately.

“It’s alright Kylie, you have me now” he said.

Kylie woke up the next morning as she perceived the scent of pancakes.
She sprung up from the bed and head downstairs.

She saw the two men in the kitchen, preparing breakfast.

She walked towards them and hugged her father.
“Good morning Dad”

“How was your night Kylie?”

“Yummy…” She replied and Robby laughed.

She turned and slowly gazed at Jasper who was staring at her.
“Hey Jasper”

He replied with a smile.

“So, what’s up for breakfast?” She asked.

“First, go and take a shower and brush you teeth, then you can eat breakfast and I’ll drive you both to school”

Kylie nodded and ran upstairs.
She had her bath and brushed her teeth.
As she combed her white hair, she remembered everything that happened yesterday.

She couldn’t still believe that she killed Bob and Jackson’s dead.
She would have saved his life but she didn’t want to.
He deserved to die because he betrayed her.

Kylie snapped out of the thought and grabbed her school bag.

She ate breakfast with her father and she enjoyed it. Even if it was the first time having breakfast with her father.

She wished her mother was here, then her family would be complete.

“I’ve thought about it. I would be the head and try my best to become one with the witches” Robby said.

“Really dad?” She asked.

He nodded.

“Well, presume that’s good news. Mom’s holding a party this weekend and she wants you two to attend” Jasper said as he ate a spoonful of pancake.

“Of course we will attend” Robby said.

💋 Chapter Fourty Six 💋

Robby dropped Kylie and Jasper off at school.
Before Kylie got down, Robby stopped her.

“I’m going back to the mansion today” he said.

“Okay dad. I’ll come to see you when I can” she said.

Robby nodded and let go of her.
He watched as she walked into the school majestically with Jasper.

Jasper placed his arm on her shoulders and walked in with her.

Robby smiled.
He knew he was ruining some fun.
He started the engine and drove off.

“Hey Kylie!”

“Xup Kylie!”

She heard some of her schoolmates as they greeted her. Most of them knew she is a demigod.

She just walked pass them without sparing them a glance.

She got to her locker and opened it.
She saw Jackson’s locker beside hers.

After staring at it for a short time, she slammed her locker and walked away.

She got into the class few minutes later and sat with Cindy.

“Hey Cindy” she said.

Cindy slowly looked up and stared at Kylie.
“Hey” she said and lowered her gaze back.

“I’m really sorry about what happened yesterday” she said.

“It’s okay. I’ll come off it within a couple of days” Cindy replied.

Kylie touched her shoulders.
“I’m always here for you” she said and sat upright, waiting for the teacher to get into the classroom.

During lunch, Kylie made Cindy sit with her. Lilly was also there with her. But Jasper didn’t like the idea of staying with three girls.
He sat few meters away from them and stared at his phone.

“Thank God it’s Friday” he murmured.

Lilly was even confused. She didn’t know what happened to Jackson all of a sudden but she heard the rumour about his death.

“How can Jackson just die without a sickness? I mean, he was perfectly fine when I saw him the last time” she said and leaned her head on the table.

Kylie and Cindy stared at each other.
“Don’t you think she should know the truth?” Kylie said to Cindy through her thoughts.

Cindy blinked repeatedly.
“It’s your decision. You are the demigod” she replied.

“Come on! I’m just eighteen and I’m sure you are three hundred and whatever”

Cindy chuckled loudly.

Lilly quickly raised her head and stared at Cindy.
“Are you laughing?”

Kylie held Lilly’s hand and stared at her.
“There’s something you should know about us. I know you are very smart Lilly and you will understand” she said.

Lilly dropped her napkin.
“Finally!”

“What?” Cindy furrowed her eyebrows.

“I mean, finally you both can tell me that you are vampires” Lilly said and fling her hair to the back.

“What?” They both chorused.

“You knew!” She asked.

“Of course I did” Lilly replied and sipped from her juice.

“That’s good anyway” Kylie said and leaned back.

“How did you know that? And when?!” Cindy asked.

“A long time. I mean, last year though. But I didn’t want you both to find out that I know about your little secret. I just found Kylie’s own recently” she said.

Cindy was shocked.
“Then, there’s nothing to hide”

“Hide what?!” Madison quickly joined in the table.

Lilly got frightened.
“Jeez… You startled me”

“Yeah, I love doing that” Madison said, smiling weirdly at Kylie.

“What about Madison?” Cindy asked Lilly.

“I’ve known about Madison since I got into this school. She was the coolest then”

“Wow, what about now?” Madison asked.

“Now, you are an asshole” Lilly said.

Madison raised her fork, pretending to stab her.

“Woah woah! Easy!” Kylie stopped them.

“Let’s go for a hunt together Kylie”

“I’ll love to come” Cindy said.

“Okay? Sure. Anytime!” Kylie replied.

“Can I come with you three? I want to see how you guys hunt” Lilly pleaded with them, showing her baby eyes.

They laughed.
“Of course” Kylie said.

“Yeah, you can come. If we don’t get any animal, you can fill in for them”

“Madison?!”

“What? I’m just kidding!” She said and started eating her lunch.

Jasper and Kylie walked home together. That was the only time he could spend time with her.

“Any plans for tonight?” He asked.

“Yeah, hunting with the girls” she replied.

“Sounds fun! You are going to leave me home alone” he pouted his l-ips like a child.

“Oh no! You can go to the hangout. I’ll come there after the hunt. The party is tomorrow right, I can help set up” she said.

Jasper became happy in,side. He just smiled and placed his arms on her shoulders again as they walked home.

Kylie packed some stuffs. She was going to spend the weekend at the hangout.

Cindy, Madison and Lilly walked into her room.
She turned and saw them walking towards the bed.

“How did you…”

“Jasper is downstairs” Lilly quickly replied. She knew the question that she was going to ask.

“Oh, I’m ready. Let’s go”

They all head downstairs. Jasper hugged Kylie and secretly k××sed her.

“I’ll meet you at the hangout” he whispered.

“Sure” she said.

He took her bag.
“I’ll drop this off for you. You shouldn’t carry load while hunting”

Kylie laughed and turned to her friends.
“Come on, let’s go” she said.

They head out and Jasper locked the door behind after they left.

“Where on Earth did you see such a cute person?” Cindy furrowed her eyebrows.

“Well, his mother is the head of the clan. Our mothers are friends so…”

They all stopped walking and stared at him.
“He’s a witch?!” They asked and I nodded.

Lilly was very surprised.
“Oh no… I never knew about him. The witches identities are secret” she said.

“Are there cute witches like him?” Madison asked.

“Yes, there are” she replied and gave a quick laugh.

They all continued walking till they into the woods.

“Woah! Look at the moon. It’s so full” Lilly said.

They all stared at up.
“That’s very good. It’s giving us light to see our prey” Madison said.

They walked deeper into the woods.

“So, what other powers do you have Kylie?” Madison asked.

Kylie stared at her and they continued walking, passing through tall trees, stepping on dead dry leaves.

“I can smell things. Hear things from afar, sense danger coming. Walk on walls and also ignite fire from my hands. I can do other things I can’t remember” she said.

“Woah! That’s so cool” she said.

“Shhh!” Kylie said and they stopped.

“What?” Cindy whispered.

“I can hear give heartbeats and we are four. There’s an animal here” she whispered in reply.

Lilly started to shiver.
“I hope it’s not a wild animal. I can’t protect myself” she cried out softly.

Kylie moved towards where she could hear the heartbeat. They hid behind different trees and peeped.

They saw an antelope.
“It’s huge” Cindy shot her eyes wide open.

“Antelope! Is it a wild animal? No, it’s not right?” Lilly was getting scared.

Kylie placed her finger on her l-ips signalling her to keep quiet to not scared the animal.

“Cindy, go get it”

Cindy shook her head.
“I’m not really good at hunting. Jackson does that for me” she said.

“What about you Madison?”

“No way, when I can’t hunt, I just feed in rats” she said.

Kylie slapped her forehead.
“Fine, I’ll try” she said and crawled towards the animal.

She watched as it slowly ate something from the floor.
She usually fell disgusted whenever she saw any animal being killed.
Now, she was the one killing the animal.

She sighed and shut her eyes tight, calming her mind just like her father thought her.

They girls watch from behind, wondering what was taking her so long.

Kylie suddenly shot her eyes wide open and jumped on the animal.
Her fangs pierced through the animal and she s×¢ked out some blood.

The antelope shook for some time, struggling with his life but it was to late.
Kylie already killed it.

They jumped out from their hiding place.
“Woah!!”

Kylie stood up and cleaned her mouth.

“That was a good catch girl!” Cindy gave a a high five.

Cindy and Madison went to take their own share.

Kylie just sat on the floor close to a tree.

Lilly stood a little bit farther from them. She wanted to puke as she saw them s×¢king the animal.

Kylie sensed danger but she didn’t understand. She thought it was one of the stuff she just imagined out of the blues.

She saw it again and quickly sprung up.

It was about Lilly.
Something attacked her, more like an animal.

“Lilly?” She called.

“Can you please come towards this place?” She asked.

Lilly nodded and slowly walked towards Kylie.

Kylie grabbed her and drew her closer to herself.
She looked round again.

“Girls!” She called out.

Cindy and Madison turned and stared at Kylie, licking the blood that was dripping from their mouth.

“I think there’s something in the woods. I can smell another animal but it’s a little different” she said.

They moved closer to her and heard leaves rustling from the woods.

“Yes, you are right. I’ve scent something like this but it’s over hundred years” Madison said.

Lilly rolled her eyes. She started to imagine how old they were.

Kylie had another image. The same animal ran towards them and strike them from behind.

Kylie quickly snapped out of it and turned.

Suddenly, they saw a huge animal running towards them.

Kylie was quick enough to do something. She had a knife with her, she took it out and help it in position.

As it moved closer to them, she used her powers to pushed it back with a strong force. It hit a tree and fell to the ground. They started panting hærd. Kylie ran towards it with the others.

As she wanted to strike it with the knife, Madison stopped her.

They watched as the animal turned into a human.

They all stepped away from the animal.
“What in the world was that?”

Madison raised her head and stared at them.

“It’s a werewolf!”
