EXCLUSIVELY ON DREAME

Kylie went home with Jasper.
She went to her room without talking to Jasper.

Jasper furrowed his eyebrows and slowly went to his room. He didn’t know what was on her mind and didn’t bother to ask.
Sometimes she get mood swings.

He understood that she’s thinking about her parents.
First, she lost her mother and now her father whom she just found left her again.

Kylie sat on her bed, there was something on her mind which she didn’t want to tell Jasper about.
He would be worried about it and wouldn’t let her do it.

She was just waiting for the right time.
An awkward smile crept on her face.

Cindy bumped into Jackson as he head out of the house.
“What are you up to?” She asked.

“Nothing” he replied.

Cindy furrowed her eyebrows and folded her arms.
“I don’t trust you Jackson. You can’t be this cool and say nothing. Something is up and I know that”

“Fine, read my mind then” he said with confident.

Cindy tried but didn’t get anything.
“I know something is up. You know how to control your mind, just don’t let me find out and don’t do something stupid” she said and turned to leave.

“Whatever!” Jackson said and walked out on him.

Cindy remembered something and turn to stare at her brother.
“Jackson?”

He stopped and sighed.
“What is it?”

“Don’t tell Madison about Kylie. I don’t trust her but I trust you” she said and left.

Jackson stared at his sister as she walked away.
She trusted him but that can’t stop him from what he was doing.

He held the other jacket and walked out of the house.

Kylie was washing the dishes while Jasper was helping her remember some things.

“That’s first of October” she replied.

“Yes, correct. That’s the day Nigeria got independence” he said smirking.

Kylie rinsed her hands and dried them with a napkin.
“So, here’s my own question” she said and walked towards him slowly.

A smile crept on Jasper’s face as he watched Kylie walked s××ily towards him.
He was leaning on the counter in the kitchen.

Kylie got to where he was and wrapped her hands around his neck.
“I miss my mom”

“I understand. I can be a mom to you” he replied in a low voice.

“I also miss my father” she said.

Jasper gave a wry laugh.
“I can also be a father to you”

That was when Kylie laughed.
“k××s me”

He furrowed his eyebrows.
“I should…”

“You heard me Jasper, k××s me” she spoke again.

Jasper held her w–st and pulled her closer to himself.
“I’ll surely k××s you my lady”

Kylie smiled as he planted a k××s on her l-ips.
She danced her palm around his chest and hair and k××sed him deeply.

Jasper quickly carried her and placed her on the counter.
“Hmmm” Kylie m0-ned as he k××sed her neck.

Immediately, Jackson barged into the house and saw them in the kitchen.

He got angry and tightened his fist.
He was tired of the sight already so he cleared his throat so that they can get his attention.

Kylie raised her head and saw Jackson.
She quickly jumped down from the counter and walked towards him.

Jasper squeezed his face. He didn’t like the way Jackson ruin his night.
He followed Kylie behind.

“What are you doing here?” Jasper asked.

“There’s a door, couldn’t you knock?” Kylie asked.

Jackson diverted his gaze from Jasper to Kylie.
“I’m sorry Kylie. For not knocking and ruining your moment. I just wanted to tell you something important”

“Like I said, I’m not…”

“It’s not about us getting back together. You said it’s over, I get it. Bob told us he trapped the demigod’s father and I know it’s your father. We all met him that night. Robby, isn’t it?”

Kylie suddenly feel interested in what he had to say.
“Yes, that’s my father. What happened to him?” She asked.

“He escaped and is now wondering in the forest. I guess this belongs to him” he lied and showed Kylie Robby’s jacket.

She collected it and remembered the day her father stopped her from harming those men in the woods.
She sniffed it and hugged it tight.
“It’s his jacket” she said as tears rolled down her cheek.

Jasper didn’t want to believe what he was saying.

“I need to find my father again” she said.

Jasper shook his head.
“No, you can’t go. I won’t allow you go” he said.

“Kylie, your father was seen at the forest. The vampires would go after him and kill him this time. You need to get him before they do” Jackson tried to convince Kylie.

Kylie turned and face Jasper.
“Jasper, I know you are worried. I would find him and if I don’t see him, I’ll come back. Please don’t stop me, I can take care of myself huh” she said, touching his cheek.

Jasper nodded.
“I’ll come with you then”

“No no… Don’t. Stay back here and pray for me. I don’t want to put your life at risk” she quickly said.

“Why? Me helping you isn’t putting my life at risk” he frowned.

Kylie quickly k××sed him.
“Do you trust me?”

He nodded.
“Yes I do” he whispered.

“Then trust me. I promise to be back very soon” she said.

He nodded and embraced her again right in front of Jackson.

Kylie smiled at Jasper and stared at her dress.
“I’ll be back”

She ran upstairs and changed into something.

Jasper stared at Jackson.
“You better take care of her” he said.

Jackson smirked.
“Sure, I would. I’m doing the right thing for her” he said with a deeper meaning behind.

Jasper nodded and stared at the stairs where he saw Kylie buttoning her shirt.
She wore a sweater and scarf.

“Oh yes! Before I forget” she said and ran into the kitchen.

She came back empty handed.

Jasper furrowed his eyebrows.
“What did you take?” He asked giving her a questioning look.

“Something good…” She said and showed him an apple.

Jasper smiled and hugged her again.
“Take care of yourself and find your father”

She nodded and turned to Jackson.
“Shall we?” She asked.

He nodded and head out of the house.
Jasper locked it behind and went into his room.

He hoped Kylie will be safe.

Jackson and Kylie walked into the woods and started searching for Robby.

“Dad?!” She yelled.

“Robby?” Jackson yelled.

“Dad?!” Kylie yelled again.

They got to the middle of the woods and when they got tired Kylie sat down on a log.
She sighed and started eating her apple.

“I see you both are very close” Jackson said.

“Not really, I never met my father” she replied.

Jackson sat beside her.
“I was talking about Jasper”

She stopped and turned to face him.
“Oh” she muttered. “Yeah, we are”

He smiled and lowered his gaze.
“I never gave you everything you ever wanted. Now that we are just friends, I hope I do everything I ought to have done when we were something”

Kylie smirked.
“Friends?”

He nodded.
“If it’s fine by you but if it’s not, we can just be schoolmate” he said slowly.

“It’s okay. We can just be friends” Kylie said with an awkward smile.

Jackson quickly faced her and smiled.
“Thanks Kylie”

“No, thank you for helping me find my father. I always doubted you. I thought you were one of them but I thought wrong. I’m sorry” she said.

He nodded and continued staring at her.
They both stared at each other for some seconds before Jackson drew his face closer to her and k××sed her.

At first Kylie didn’t withdraw but when she thought of Jasper, she quickly moved back and stood up.

“I’m sorry” she said and walked away.

Jackson bit his lower lip and smiled.
“Just wanted to k××s you before you die” he thought and followed her behind.

They walked deeper into the woods.
Kylie was confused herself not knowing where they were headed to.

She stopped and turned to face Jackson.
“Where exactly did you see my dad’s jacket?” She asked.

“Umm… It was.. may be down there” he stammered.

Kylie looked at the location he pointed at and continued walking down.

Jackson looked round wondering when his plan was actually starting. He knew everything was going to start any moment from now. He just didn’t get the exact time and location.

“Where the f+ck is bob?” He murmured and stared at Kylie as she walked deeper into the woods.

💋 Chapter Fourty Four 💋

Jackson walked to Kylie and grabbed her arm.
“Don’t go there, that place is dangerous” he said.

Kylie withdraw her hands away from his grip and shot him a hærd glare.

“Why do you care?” She asked and walked towards the direction they were coming from.

Jackson quickly looked round and saw Bob from distance.
“Asshole” he murmured and went to Kylie.

“Let’s go that way, he might be somewhere there” he said.

Kylie frowned.
“Why are you confused? Are you lying to me about this?” She asked.

“No, I would not lie to you. Your father is there” he said.

Kylie nodded and walked towards the direction he pointed.
Jackson watched as Kylie walked into the trap set for her.

As Kylie walked pass tall trees, stepping on dried leaves, she stopped immediately.

She saw the same vision she saw last night.
Her falling into a trap with her father and the vampires, including Jackson laughing at her as they all watched her burn alive.

She went back to reality and started panting hærd.

“Kylie?” She heard her father’s voice and looked up.

Robby was really there. Her vision was right, just exactly as she saw it.

She saw the trap on the floor. She knew they were all hiding, waiting for her to enter into the trap.

This was what she has been waiting for. If she don’t enter the trap, there’s no way she’s going to have the chance to kill Bob.

As she took two steps towards the trap, she heard her father’s voice again.

“Kylie, don’t go there. It’s a trap” he warned.
But Kylie didn’t want to listen. She quickly stepped on it and the rope covered her up and dragged her up.

Bob and the other vampires suddenly jumped out from their hiding place, including Jackson.

“Hehe… I knew it. One day, you will fall into my trap” Bob said.

Kylie smirked and sat comfortably in the trap.
She stared at Jackson and gave a weird smile.

She knows what would happen to him next.
She just sat waiting for all of it to happen.

She saw Cindy staring at her from distance. She wasn’t aware of what happened.

“Kylie!” She said and want to her but some of the other vampires held her back.

“No, no. Please Bob, don’t do anything to her” she cried but Bob didn’t listen to her.

Dylan held Jackson’s shoulder.
“I knew I could count on you son. You’ve made me proud” he said to his son.

“I’m sorry Kylie!” He yelled.

“I knew you would do this. Just you wait and see what happens to you next” she replied.

He laughed loudly.
“You should have listened to your boyfriend and stay at home. Where is he now? He can’t protect you!”

Kylie just lowered her gaze and smirked.

Jackson smiled and faced Bob proudly.
“I’ve submitted the demigod to your hand, now I want my reward. Step down now and let me be the head” he said.

Bob smiled and walked towards Jackson.
“I’ll give you what you want Jackson” he said with his hands on Jackson’s shoulder.

He hugged him so tight.
“First, I should congratulate you” Bob whispered to his ear.

Dylan stared at his son and noticed how blood gushed out from his mouth.
“Jackson?” He called out.

Bob pushed him away and cleaned his bloody hands on his clothes before he fell to the floor.

Dylan and Alice ran to him and saw that Bob stabbed him.
He was bleeding badly. There was no way he could survive it because it was the heart and the knife was poisoned.

“Why did you do this?” Alice cried.

“No one can take over me, not now not in the future!” He yelled.

Cindy just cried silently. They still didn’t want to let go of her.

“I’m really sorry Kylie” he said and finally gave up the ghost.

“Jackson!” His mother cried out loud. She couldn’t believe that her son died right in her arms.

Madison ran into the scene.
She was panting and all sweaty.

“What did I miss?” She asked before looking round.

“Hey Kylie… Wait Kylie?!” She furrowed her eyebrows.

“What’s Kylie doing here?”

“She is the demigod” Alice replied in a low tone and sorrow in her voice.

That was when Madison notices Jackson’s dead body.
She slowly walked towards it and touched his neck.
“Jackson… Is dead?”

Dylan nodded and whimpered.

Madison stood up and covered her mouth in shock.
.
Kylie turned and stared at her father.
“I’m sorry father, for not paying attention to you”

Robby gave a wry laugh.
“I believe my daughter knows what she’s doing” he said.

Kylie smiled and faced the vampires.
She cleared her throat for them to get her attention.

They stopped and stared at her.
“So, what are you going to do to me?” She asked.

“No, please don’t harm her. I beg you!” Cindy pleaded again.
She wasn’t interested in the vampires killing the demigod but since she was her friend, she wouldn’t let them do that.

Madison stared at Kylie.
“I never knew you were the demigod, how could you be so secretive”

Kylie just stared at her and stared back at Bob.
“Hey Bob, I’m tired of staying here already”

“You just wait. You’ll get tortured till you die, you will even cry and beg us to kill you and we won’t” Bob said, grinning his teeth.

Kylie clapped her hands and shook her head.
“Woah, what a nice plan. But I won’t let that happen”

Kylie grabbed the rope with her hands and used her powers.
They saw how she made fire from her hand.

“What the…” Bob muttered.

The rope burnt and she fell to the floor.

Bob moved back, so as every other vampires.

“I’ll kill you instead” she said and gr0-ned.

They all saw her very long fang and red eyes.
It was really different from every other vampires own.

Bob became scared. He staggered.

“Kylie?”

She turned and stared at her father.
“Dad” she said in reply.

“Go on…” He said. Kylie smiled and quickly diverted her gaze to Bob.

She could see the fear in Bob’s eyes.
He was all sweaty.

“What are you?” He asked, moving back.

“Like you said, I’m a demigod!” She said, moving closer to him.

He quickly grabbed Cindy and placed a knife on her throat.

Kylie quickly stopped. She didn’t want to lose Cindy.

“I’ll kill her if you take another step” he said with a wicked smile planted on his face.

Kylie shook her head, Cindy was really scared. She didn’t want to die just like her brother did.

Dylan and Alice were scared already. They didn’t want to lose two children at the same day.

“Bob, step away from Cindy” Kylie said softly.

He laughed and shook his head.
“No way. If you want to kill me, I’ll have to kill her first” he replied.

“Don’t make this too hærd” she said.

Bob didn’t agree. He drew the knife closer to Cindy’s neck.

Cindy whimpered slowly and gr0-ned in pain.
.
Kylie wanted to attack him but she doesn’t know what he would do to Cindy before then.

She closed her eyes and saw what would happen.
She quickly shot her eyes wide open.

There was no way she would let that happen.
Before she could attack Bob, Cindy was dead.

She had to think of a way to do this.
She turned and face her father.

“What do I do father?” She asked.

“Just do what you think it’s right” he replied.

She nodded and faced Bob. How could he ever be the head?
How can the head be so cruel to kill his his own kind.

“I don’t care if you kill her. This is between you and me. You killed my mother, you have to pay for it” she said.

Bob furrowed his eyebrows.
“You don’t care a bit about your friend” he said.

“Do I look like I care? As long as she is related to the person that betrayed my trust. I knew all of this would happen. I just wanted to meet with the bloody fool called Bob and I finally did. You dared to kill my mother when she didn’t do anything. All she did was to raise me and you killed her” she said.

Bob pushed Cindy to the floor and held his knife tight. He wanted to stab Kylie as soon as she gets close to him.

“Yes, I killed her and it was really good. Now I will kill you and your bloody father” he said and wanted to strike her.

Kylie raised her hand and raised him up. It was as if he was choking.
He couldn’t breath at all, it was like he was short of air.

The more she tightened her fist, the more life he lost.
She let go of her fist and he fell to the floor gasping for breath.

Kylie walked towards him and took the knife.
“You are the very first person that I kill” she said and slice his throat.

She threw the knife and stepped away from his body, watching as blood gush out from his neck.

“I’ve done what my mother always wanted” she muttered slowly.
