HOURS EARLIER ~ M&M ACADEMY

Bryan got to the place where Louis was waiting for him.

The anger he felt at that moment couldn’t be explain but then he held back keeping his anger in check.

“Where’s Valerie?” Leo asked.

“That’s none of your business! Why did you call me here?” Bryan demanded in anger.

“Cathy is coming back today. You will have the girl you love by your side, so stay the hell away from my girl” Leo replied.

“And what business do I still have left with Cathy. Cathy is a thing of the past and Valerie is my present and future, so get whatever idea you have of me reconciling with Cathy cause it won’t ever happen” Bryan told him firmly.

“This will be the last warning I give to you as my brother”Leo warned.

“What if I don’t heed to it?”

“Then you will have to fight me like a man cause am not gonna give her up too” Leo said hitting Bryan on the face.

Bryan turned towards him having a angry smile on his face.

“Am glad you did that cause have been longing for a fight with you!” Bryan stated, hitting him back on the face.

Another punch landed Bryan against the door and before he could do more, Leo launch towards him falling him on the floor outside of the lab they were both in.

Students who were walking around then saw the ongoing fight and decided to stay and watch.

Stephanie being a part of those who was present during the fight, she clench her fist in anger and went in search of Chloe.

REST ROOM

“Until when will you keep on crying?” Judy asked as they watch Chloe who kept crying in front of the mirror.

“Don’t yell at her, you can see that she’s sad” Pearl reprimanded.

“I can see that but isn’t it more better that she tell us what happen? She’s been crying and no matter what we say, she won’t talk” Judy said in frustration.

“He’s a jerk! He’s a big time jerk” Chloe let out in pain.

“Try telling us who this big jerk is and what he did to…..” Judy stop talking when the door burst open and Stephanie barge into the room.

Getting to Chloe, she slap her hard on the face startling every one around them.

“What’s your problem?” Judy said pushing her away.

“My problem is why a good for nothing girl like you is the cause of those morons fighting out there!” Stephanie yelled.

“Say some thing we can understand and stop beating around !” Pearl yelled in return.

“Leo and Bryan are both fighting like crazy and it’s all because of her!” Stephanie said and on hearing that Chloe anger flew out of the window.

“Where are they?” Chloe asked.

“In front of the science lab and…..” Stephanie couldn’t finish her sentence because Chloe push past her heading to where the fight was going on.

Chloe and her friends got there only to see Leo and Bryan being pulled apart by some students.

She was shocked to see blood oozing from their faces. How angry did they get to hit one another until they injured themselves.

A teacher got into their midst and while Bryan walked off in anger, Leo stayed behind, setting his uniform in order.

He was wiping off the blood from his face when he saw Chloe but Chloe mind was on Bryan and immediately she dash off in search of him.

Leo would have followed but he got a call. On seeing the caller he let out a sigh before picking up.

“My plane will be landing in a few hours, will you come pick me up?” Cathy asked.

“I will be there ” he replied smoothly and as soon as he end the call, he left for the airport.

SCHOOL INFIRMARY

“Get that away! I don’t need it” Bryan said.

“But you need to put some thing on that or it might worsen” the school nurse said trying to reason with the angry Bryan.

“I don’t want it, I just want to get some rest” he said hotly.

“Why don’t you….”

“Can you let me do it for him?” Chloe who had come into the infirmary a while ago asked slowly.

“Sure. I hope you get to convince him cause if it doesnt do some thing about it, it’s gonna leave a scar” the nurse said before leaving the room to do some thing else.

Chloe made her way towards him and picking up the cotton wool which was soak in the iodine, she put it on his wounded cheek but he moved away.

“You don’t have to do it” he stated still looking angry.

“And get reprimanded by the nurse, no way” she replied wanting to clean the blood on his cheek but he pushed her hand away.

“I told you that I don’t want it! Am angry right now and so I suggest you leave before I say some thing you won’t like” he said turning away from her once again.

Putting down the soaked cotton wool, she turn to leave and on her third step towards the door.

He caught up with her, wrapping his arms around her while hugging her from behind.

“Am sorry! I didn’t mean to act like a jerk, I just don’t….I just…am sorry” he mumbled while tightening his hold on her.

“Don’t go, stay” he whispered into her ear this time around and she turn to stare at him.

“Why did you fight with Leo?” Chloe asked.

“Cause he is a jerk, he threatened to take you away and that’s some thing I can’t accept, it’s some thing I won’t ever agree to” he said with determination and slowly she wrap her arms around him.

“I love you but I love the gentle you more. I know Leo must have provoke you but you shouldn’t have bothered to give him a reply cause after all my heart belongs to you alone” she said slowly.

“So whatever Leo says or does is his problem. No matter what happens you and I will always be together, always have that in mind whenever you are dealing with him” She added and that got him smiling.

“But the engagement and other stuff? What if you…what if the marriage push through?” Bryan asked.

“Before then the real Valerie will be back. Have you forgotten that I am an imposter?” She asked.

“Don’t refer to yourself as an imposter. You are more than that to me” he declared which got her chuckling.

“I know and that’s why I can clearly assure you that am not gonna be with Leo, you will be the only one” She declared.

“Do you know that you say the nicest things on earth?” He asked and that got her ruffling her face.

“Don’t be cheesy, it doesn’t suit you. Now let’s clean that up” she said pulling him back to the bed where she help him clean up his injury.

“Done” she said triumphantly as she put the band aid on his cheek.

She turn to cover up the box only to be pulled into his arms.

“What are you doing?” She asked slowly.

“I want to kiss my girlfriend” he answered before kissing her briefly on the lips.

“Some one might come into the room” she said pushing him away but he pulled her back.

“I don’t care” he said sheepishly and swiftly he pulled her onto his laps before kissing her again.

Chloe let him kiss her while also enjoying it.

It was a while later that they pulled apart, both breathing heavily.

“Do you know that you look exactly like Valerie?” Bryan asked suddenly.

“I know and that’s what got me here in the first place” she replied.

“Am not referring to your resemblance but your attitude, the ruffling of your face a while ago made me think you are just like her” Bryan stated.

“So? What are you trying to get by saying all this?'” Chloe asked.

“Have you ever thought her to be your blood? Your sister and not just some look alike of yours?”

“I don’t think so. Have been a orphan since I was young and so there’s no chance of her being my sister” Chloe told him firmly.

“But what if it is? What if you two are siblings? Don’t you want to find out?” Bryan asked and that got her starring at him.

“I do want to but to have anything done, we must have Valerie with us which is impossible for the moment” Chloe replied.

“It’s not impossible, we can see her. We only have to talk to Carmen” Bryan told her.

“Will she accept ?” Chloe asked a bit confused.

“There’s no harm in trying” he stated as he took hold of her hand, both leaving the infirmary together.

AIRPORT

“Leo!” On hearing his name, he turned to see Cathy approach him.

“Finally” he said smiling at her.

“You think I would change my mind and decide not to come?” Cathy asked noticing the injury on his face.

“I know you wouldn’t let me down, I also didn’t let you down in the past and so it’s time you repay me.” He replied taking hold of her suit case.

“I can tell that you need me badly by the bruises on your face, it was done by Bryan right?” She asked.

“Yes. He got pissed when I told him to stay away from my fiancee, his intention is to steal her away and he’s succeeding bit by bit and that’s some thing I don’t want which is why you are here. Tell him about what happened a year ago so he would see that it’s not intentional” Leo said.

“I intend to” She replied.

“Then let’s go look for them” he said.

“Now?”

“Yes. The earlier you talk to Bryan, the better for us. Am going to take you to your hotel and while you freshen up, I will go in search of them” Leo informed her while she nodded on reply.

After asking for their whereabout, he ended up going to Valerie’s house since he was told they were there.

He was about getting out of his car to walk the few distance to Valerie’s home when he saw Bryan, Valerie and Carmen heading out of the house.

He watch them getting into a taxi and thinking some thing was off, he decide to follow them.

After hours of driving, he stopped in front of a hospital outside of town.

He watch the three get out of the car and followed them with out being seen.

He lost them when they got into the elevator but after asking around, he was told the room they were.

He got to a room whose door was left open.

Standing by the door way, he saw Bryan and Valerie standing together but when he saw the same Valerie sitting beside Carmen, his eyes widened in shock.

“What the hell is going on?” Leo asked which got all of them starring at her.
