He turned to face me, looking straight into my eyes with tears in his eyes.

“Tatiana ” he whispered.

The look of confusion on his face.

“how’s that even possible ” he asked lowly.

I quickly wiped my tears and sniffed.

I don’t wanna be the old Tatiana I was, the weak one.

“how dare you take my bag and even take my phone “I asked angrily.

He felt numb like someone who was battling with an inner battle.

I sighed and turned to leave but he pulled me back.

“explain to me how you are Tatiana ” he demanded with a stern look.

I freed my arm from his grip and tried walking away but he pulled me back again.

“speak up ” he yelled.

How dare he even think he can raise his voice at me?

After all his family has done to me?

“you want to know? well yes I’m Tatiana ” I blurted out.

He was shocked cause it was visible in his face.

“how” he asked lowly.

“well your family caused it. They are responsible for everything” I yelled, already in tears.

“what do you mean everything ” he asked.

“your family killed my mother, they poisoned her and faked a result saying it was heart attack. They killed my dad and attempted to kill me. We were gonna leave Manila forever but your family blew up our house with my dad in,side. I was at the backyard and that was why I’m alive ” I said in tears.

I stared at him as tears streamed down his cheeks.

“I was saved by Lanna Delacruz and taken to USA for treatment. She died of heart problem so I had to undergo surgery to have her face to console dad Enrique and also to take revenge on your family for taking away my parents ” I yelled angrily.

“that’s why, that’s why I’m here ” I yelled in tears.

“Tatiana ” he whispered, not able to control his tears.

I stormed away and headed to my car.

“Tatiana please wait ” he called but I paid no attention to him.

He caught up with me and pulled me back.

I was so angry with him cause he betrayed our love.

Had it been he married another person, I’d not be hurt like this, but he married that bitch Melanie.

“Tatiana please don’t go away ” he begged.

I raised my hand and gave him a dirty slap.

He was stunned.

“Tatiana are you angry with me “he asked and I scoffed.

Is he really asking me that?

“you bastard! You married Melanie and you even have a child ” I yelled and hit his chest.

He closed his eyes in pain and reopened them.

“Tatiana I… Tatiana.. I.. I… ” he stuttered and busted out in tears.

“I made a very big mistake, I wasn’t myself the day it happened. I was drunk and lost and she took advantage of me ” he blurted out.

“you think of believe your lame excuse? I thought you were different from the rest of your family but no! You’re just like them ” I said as he shook his head saying “no”.

“Tatiana please, it’s you I love and I still love you. I was forced into that marriage. I never wanted to marry her, I made a mistake and I’m still regretting it. Tatiana please forgive me ” he begged in tears.

“you have to believe me ” he pleaded.

“no! ” I yelled and got in my car.

“Tatiana please you have to believe me ” he said, hitting my car as I drove off.

I looked at him from my rearview and saw him break down in tears.

I couldn’t control my tears so I let them pour.

I thought I was over him but I ain’t.

I arrived home and ran up to my room without talking to anyone.

I collapsed on my bed and let them tears pour.

I felt like I was in shock after watching the drama between Lanna and Fernando or should I say Tatiana and Fernando?

I can’t believe she didn’t die and she’s here as Lanna.

Oh my God! Dad has to hear this.

I can’t believe we’ve been in a business with someone who’s here to destroy us.

I took in a deep breath and ran to dad’s ward.

I sat on the floor where Tatiana left me and ran my hands through my hair.

I can’t believe my Tatiana is still alive.

I’m so happy and the same time hurt.

I can’t believe my family ruined her.

They ruined her life.

And I, I made a very big mistake.

Her anger is justified.

How do I make her believe it was a mistake and I regret it?

I still love her and now that she’s back, I really don’t wanna loose her.

After sulking on the floor for hours, I decided to leave cause it was already dark.

I reached home and freshened up.

I put on my boxer briefs and plumped down on my bed.

Melanie was yet to come.

“daddy ” I heard Myer’s tiny voice.

She laid on me and I held her to myself.

“dad why are you crying “she asked.

I just hugged her and cried.

“I’ve always suspected her ” dad said.

“we need to come up with a plan. I’m sure she doesn’t know we know about her yet so we’ll play along ” dad said and I nodded.

“she must be the only one remaining of the Grande, though it will be hærd to take her out but we will ” dad said.

“get the car ready, we’re going home. She helped us to find Margaux and now I’m suspecting Margaux too ” dad said.

“but what does Margaux have to do with this ” I asked.

“you never use your brain Beatrice, why did she help us find our lost daughter? She must be up to something. She might have even played with the DNA results ” dad said.

“that’s true ” I said in agreement.

“we have to keep our eyes on that girl now. If we lash out on her now, Lanna would know we’re on to her ” dad said.

I helped him up and we went to the car.

I drove him home and made him rest on his bed.

“now this is where we need Rinaldo but our dear boy is fighting for his life ” dad said in a cracking voice.

He really loves Rinaldo than all the rest.

I put the blanked over him, switched off his lights and walked out of his room.

“are you going home ” I asked Melanie.

She rolled her eyes and took her bag.

“no” she said bluntly and walked out.

I rushed to a corner and put a call through to Brian and told him that Melanie was heading out.

Lanna had earlier told me to put an eye on Melanie

I rushed outside just in time to see her driving out.

I boarded my car too and followed.

I gave Brian info as I followed her.

After mins of driving her car stopped in front of an uncompleted building.

I stopped my cat farther from hers and directed Brian over the phone.

Mins later, he was here.

“Faye you can live now, I’ll handle this ” he said.

I felt like going in with him.

What if something goes wrong?

Tow heads are better than one.

I nodded and he tiptoed to the building.

As soon as he entered, I got down and followed him.

I sighed him at a corner with a camera, videoing Melanie and a guy.

I hid at a corner and watched them.

I couldn’t hear what they were saying so I had to move closer.

“I want the custody of my child ” I heard the guy say.

“you know that can’t happen. I’ve been giving you money to keep shut and you still want Myer’s custody ” Melanie asked.

So Fernando isn’t the father of Myer?

Oh my gosh!

“bring the money or else I’ll be forced to tell everyone who the real father of Myer is ” the guy threatened.

Melanie slowly shook her hand in her bag and I was expecting her to bring out money but she took long.

She brought out her hand and the sound of a gunshot was heard.

She had killed the guy.

I gasped at the sight and quickly covered my mouth.

“I warned you ” Melanie said, p-nting softly.

I felt something cold sliding up my arm and I turned to see a guy with a gun.

I gasped out loud and Brian turned to see me.

Before Brian could turn back, Melanie kicked the camera from him and held her gun to his head.

Gosh! What have I done?

Why didn’t I just stayed in the car and gave him a call if something was up?

Another guy with a cigarette walked up to me and smirked.

“I think I’ll have her before I waste her ” he said and grabbed me.

“no, Brian help me ” I cried.

“don’t even dare ” Melanie said with the gun pointed at Brian’s head.

The other guy walked over to Brian and held his gun at him too while the one who said he’d have me, took me away.

Oh God please help me.
