💋 Chapter Twenty Five💋

Jack moved back a little, a little frightened. He didn’t have to hear his remaining names before he know who he was. He turned and stared at Beauty.

“You… How is this possible?” He asked.

“Are you shocked to see me in person?” Dylan asked with a smile on his face.

“I’m very sorry Master!” He yelled and fell on his knees. Beauty shot her eyes wide open and sat down. Dylan sat on a couch and folded his legs.

“Mr Jack, well, here’s a warning for you before I leave. I have a very busy schedule” he said. Jack’s gaze was still facing the floor. He didn’t know what to do or say. He just wished he didn’t ask Beauty to show him her husband.

“If this gets to the public, you won’t only lose your job, you know what else you are going to lose. If you ever be a burden to my wife, you’ll also lose your life” he said.

“Yes Master!” He yelled and bowed. Ad he called Beauty his wife, it was still unbelievable. They stood up to leave but Beauty stopped when she remembered something.

“And also, tell your girls to stay away from me” she said.

“Yes miss Beauty” he bowed again.

“Good night. See you tomorrow” she said and left with Dylan. Sally and Leo also left. They wished they could laugh when they saw the look on Jack’s face. Immediately they got into the car, the security was back. People started moving round. They wondered why they had to remain where they were for some minutes. They thought it was a terrorist attack for some minutes. But they were glad that they were out already.

Sally and Leo got into the car and followed their boss behind. They didn’t speak to each other till they got to the mansion.
Sally felt that Leo was having a thing for her. She didn’t want to be with him just because of he was Dylan’s assistant. She felt it would be awkward if they started dating.

“Why are you silent?” Leo asked.

“Nothing, why?” She replied.

“I mean you’ve silent and you don’t want to talk to me at all. Did I do anything wrong?” He asked a little bit worried.

Sally didn’t know how she could tell him that she doesn’t want anything to do with him.

“You didn’t do anything trust me I just don’t want to talk to you” she said.

He sighed deeply and nodded his head.
“Fine if you don’t want to talk to me but you have to just tell me what I did wrong so I could amend my ways I mean we are friends right?” He said, focusing on the road.

Sally scoffed and slipped her fingers into her long hair.
“Dylan, can you just please remain silent and don’t talk for a second because your voice is getting into my head and it’s making me really mad right now” she said.

“I’m sorry” he muttered. She felt mad herself for yelling at him. She didn’t mean to. She was just not herself.

“No I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have yelled at you. I just don’t want to say anything to anyone right now” she said.

“It’s okay Sally. I understand. You have mood swings when you are around me. You should actually go see a therapist” he suggested. She leaned back on the car and scoffed. Maybe she really had to. She was never like this but now, she was.

“Didn’t you see the look on his face? He was so surprised!” Beauty couldn’t stop laughing since she got into the limo. Dylan poured her a glass of champagne and handed it over to her.

“Stop laughing already, it’s been over five minutes” he said. She tried to stop laughing. So she adjusted her hair and sipped the drink.

“I can’t wait to tell granny what had just happened. I’m going over to her place after tomorrow’s meeting at the company” she said. Dylan nodded.

“Well, my regards to her. I’ll have to visit father and also see Tara. She’ll get the papers for me tonight” he said.

“Okay, good luck with that. I wish I could meet your father before two weeks”

“You will. I’ll have to make sure things are okay first and also tell him about my real status”

“You have my support baby” she smiled.

“I know Beauty. Right now, I’m thinking of how I’ll deal with my step mom and Jason. They are really stepping on my toes”

“Can you let me do that? I can handle Jason. I just need your permission on something”

“Of course, you can. Permission granted. I forgot you were all he wanted before you turned ugly” he said.

“He won’t know what’s coming for him” she said, staring into the thin air. Beauty had always wanted to get rid of Jason but here was a chance. She’s going to teach him a lesson of his life and get rid of him and his f****** career once and for all. She thought as a smile crept on her face. Dylan saw the smile and cleared his throat.

“Would my darling wife want to share her little secret with me?” He asked.
She faced him and smiled.

“No, I won’t. It won’t be a surprise to you if you later see it on the net” she pouted her l-ips like a child.

“Okay baby, I’ll just wait to see what you have” he said.

After some minutes, they got to the mansion. Everyone went into their respective rooms and slept off. They had a very busy day today, including Dylan.

When it was night, Tara got out of bed. She was going to sneak into her mother’s room and steal the company’s paper. But she can’t just get in. She walked to her mother’s room and softly knocked the door.

“Mom?” She called out and pretended like she was asleep.

“Mom?!” She called out again. Her mom got out of bed and walked towards the door. She opened it and saw Tara standing outside the door.

“Tara? What happened?”

“I couldn’t sleep mom” she lied, rubbing her eyes with the back of her palm.

“Come here baby. Come sleep with me” she said and pulled Tara into the room. She quickly locked the door. Tara knew how deep her mother sleep. She was going to take advantage of that.
She laid on the bed with her mother with her eyes fixed on her mother’s wardrobe.

“Sleep okay?” Her mother said. She nodded and pretended to be asleep.

“Yes mom” she replied and laid on the bed. She laid silently on the bed till she began to hear her mother’s snore.

“It’s time” she sprung up quickly not minding she make any noise. She walked to the wardrobe and opened it. She saw the papers first. She turned to see if her mom was waking up but no, she wasn’t. The first thing she was going to do tomorrow morning was to leave the house very early in the morning.

“I’m sorry mom but I don’t support bad things” she murmured and left the room as quick as possible.

💋 Chapter Twenty Six💋

When it was morning, Tara didn’t even take her school uniform. She took the company papers and left from the house as early as 5am. She got into a cab and started to call Dylan. He was still asleep when he heard his phone ringing. He took his phone and answered it.

“Hello Dylan, it’s me Tara”

“Tara? Did something happen?” He asked.

“Well, I’m with the papers. I left home already and I’m on my way to your mansion”

“No, wait. You can’t let any car come towards the estate. Text me your location and I’ll send a car to you as soon as possible” he said.

“Okay Dylan” Tara said and disconnected the call.

“Hey mister, drop me off here. Take your fee” she gave the cab driver the money and alight from the car. She texted her location to Dylan and waited by the road. She was a little scared, staying all by herself. Some men walked passed her, she thought they were going to kidnap her but after some minutes, the car came. She heaved a breath of relief and got into the car.

She hugged the company papers as she drove to Dylan’s mansion. She thought it would be Dylan that would come pick her up but it his his assistant, Leo. He was asleep when Dylan called him and told him to go pick her up. He wished to sleep more but he couldn’t.
They got to the mansion. Tara saw her brother and handed him the company papers.

“Here is the paper” she said. He collected it and looked at it.

“Thank you Tara. What will your mother do if she finds out you took the papers from her?” He asked.

“That’s her to figure out. I’m not going back to the house Dylan. Mom’s gonna kill me when she finds out I took the papers and also failed my test” she replied. Dylan furrowed his eyebrows. He didn’t understand what she was talking about.

“Well, I replaced the papers with my test results and I failed” she said. He smiled.

“Well, you are free to stay here. We’ll talk about your schooling together. Leo, take her to a room. See you later Tara and thanks for this” he said and went to his room. It was still early for everyone to wake up. They all went back to their rooms and slept off.

Dylan woke up a little bit late and went to have his bath. He came back few minutes later but didn’t see Beauty anywhere.

He wore a common dress because he was going to see his father today.

“No, he won’t accept to that. Just add some other words that would make him believe you. Jason is a jerk, trust me” Tara said to Beauty.
Beauty handed her phone to Tara.

“Why don’t you to me the honor of finishing the job?” She asked.

“Sure” she replied. Beauty stood up and walked towards her husband.

“Good morning” she said.

“Now, I’m worried” he said. She quit smiling and stared at him, giving him a confused look.

“What happened?” She asked.

“Now Tara is around, you won’t have time for me anymore” he said. She gave a soft giggle and arranged his hair.

“Come on, I’ll always have time for you. Tara is a sweet girl and your sister”

“I know. Well, I have to go see father. I’ve gotten the company papers, all thanks to Tara” he nodded towards his sister.

“But, how do you control the company without anyone knowing it’s you” she asked.

“I’ll have to delegate some authority to some people. I don’t have to do anything myself”

She nodded.

Tara’s phone started to ring. They both faced her.

“It’s mom” she said.

“Answer it” Dylan said.

“What do I say to her? She’s going to scold me for taking the papers” she said. The phone stopped ringing.

Her mother on the other hand yelled from her room. Jason who was about to leave the house heard his mother’s voice and rolled his eyes.

“What happened now?” He asked and went to her room.

“What happened mom? Do you want to bring the whole house down?” He asked. His mother threw the papers at him. He took it and frowned.

“So what if Tara fails her test? I never passed any test” he said.

“That’s not it Jason. Tara ran away with the company papers” she said. Jason shot his eyes wide open.

“What?! How?! Why?!” He yelled.

“Well, how do I f*cking know?! She has ran away and she has refused to pick her calls”

Jason collected his mother’s phone and called his sister. This time, Tara answered the call.

“Tara! Where in the actual f*ck are you?! Bring that paper back right now!” He yelled.

Tara heard her brother’s voice and sulked.
“What do you want Jason?”

“Are you f*cking deaf?! I just told you to come back with the papers and you are asking me a dumb question”

“I’m not. I’m doing the right thing for you and mom. None of you deserve the company and mom was planning to sell it”

“She’s doing it for us, you fool! Now, tell me what are you going to do with the papers” he asked.

“Give it to the heir. The right person that deserves the company, Dylan”

“Don’t you dare… How dare you betray your own family because of your step brother. He’s just going to kill you just like he killed his own mother”

“I’ve heard enough now. My regards to mom. Don’t wait for me because I’m not coming back. Byeee” she said and placed her phone on the table.

Beauty smiled at Tara.
“That’s my girl. You know, I wish I had a sister just like you”

“Well, you already have me” she replied.

“I don’t want to be a burden to you two. I’ll be on my way now” Dylan said and k×ssed his wife before leaving the house.

“Come on, keep on talking to Jason” Beauty said.

“Well, right now. He must be mad right now. So he might want to calm down by sleeping with someone” Tara said. Beauty raised her eyebrows.

“How much do you know Jason?” Beauty asked.

“I know so much about him. Let’s just go on” she said. Beauty stared at what Tara was saying with Jason and covered her mouth. How can a young girl know so much about s*x. She wasn’t supposed to be surprised. The internet is everywhere. Tara didn’t talk with him about anything bad but he was the one that was talking about the s*x thing till he agreed to meet with her tonight.

After some minutes, it was time for them to begin with their day. Beauty went into her room and wore a very beautiful dress. She was going to head to the company first. Seem like she was going to skip going to granny’s place today.

Tara had to stay home with Leo and the other maids. The house was not even boring even if it was a boring house. She had to watch television and eat whatever she wanted to.

Beauty got to the company with Sally.
“I can’t wait to see the look on Jack’s face when he sees you” Sally whispered to her.

“Oh Sally, it seemed like you just read my mind. Let’s just go in already” she said.

They went to the meeting room. She was few seconds late but Jack didn’t complain. It was a meeting with the other models.

“Good morning miss Beauty, how was your night?” He asked, with a shaky voice. Beauty stole glances from Sally before answering him. Even the other models were surprised, asking why he was asking about her night.

“It was great thank you” she replied. They rolled their eyes.

“We shall start the… Meeting now” he said. He was still scared. Everyone noticed his sudden change after her presence.
