EPISODE 18

Peggy’s POV😭

I was taken to a dark room and it was smelling, it had a smell of a cocaine which I really hate to perceive.

I was finding it hærd to believe that I had been kidnapped but who could have been behind this and why beside I didn’t offend anyone to deserve this.

I watched as I was being tied with rope on the chair and my mouth was covered with a thick plaster.

I felt so dizzy when a man came in and other the other man at the left to leave.

I knew him, he’s the man contesting governorsh¡p with dad and he had come over our house severally to Threaten dad but what has this got to do with me.

“Now look who we have hear, the precious governor daughter”he said raising my face to look at him.

I felt so sick looking at his ugly face, his name is mike Douglas.
I struggled to talk but I couldn’t cause the plaster was in my mouth and it stopped me from talking.

“You want to say something, Gus come and remove the plaster”mike said and Gus came over and did as he was told.

“Please leave….me out from the case you have with my ….father”I said coughing hærd and finding it hærd to breath.

“So funny,young lady that’s a No, your father humiliated me and killed my boys”mike said as he slapped me for saying that.

I felt dizzy instantly and a drip of blood coming out from my l-ips.

I haven’t been touched since my life and this slap did lot of things to my body.

I cried remembering Dave,I wish he was here to save me.

“Leave me please,am not my father”I said crying as he ordered Gus to cover my mouth again.

My face was very red.

Who will save me from this pain, from this predicament.😭😭😭😭😭
Dave POV

There was policemen in the school, inspecting and asking questions.

The governor had been rushed to the hospital cause he had collapse immediately he heard that Peggy had been kidnapped.

I had earlier called my father and told him about Peggy being missing.

He had come together with the governor and his securities and some policemen who were investigating.

I knew I would get almost all the blame and true to my words, I was blamed for being ignorant and I felt so bad.

The school had closed that day when they discover the governor daughter was missing and am sure there was gonna be another lockdown from the school and lot of parent are going to remove their children from the school.

Dad told me angrily to go home and not to show my face at the governor’s place, I should just stay at home.

I felt so hurt and sad and I also blamed myself.

I got home and was surprised to see my mom cause she said she was gonna be back in a week time.

“Hi son”mom said happily as she hugged me.

“Hi mom”I said sadly.

“What happened, you’re not looking good at all”Dave’s mom asked him cause she noticed son wasn’t happy.

Dave knew that he couldn’t hide anything from his mother and he had no option than to tell her.

He broke to tears immediately he was done telling her.

“Dave stop this beside you know that its not your fault at all”Dave’s mom said trying to console him.

“Mom am supposed to be her private security but I couldn’t protect her in this and now who knows what she’s lasing through or what they are doing to her”I said crying my pains out.

“You can’t keep on blaming yourself beside I know its not your fault”Dave’s mom said.

She just don’t understand me, this was all my fault and I was supposed to protect but I didnt.

*AT THE GOVERNOR’S PLACE*
🍒🍒Jake POV💋💋

“Why would he still go to the length of kidnapping my daughter, am dead” Dave’s mother said scre-ming in tears.

How could she believe that her only daughter had been
kidnapped, the one she suffered before she could have and she carried her for nine good month and s-ck this her two br-ast.

Now this daughter she had suffered for had gone missing.

“Woman keep quite and let me think”the governor shouted at her.

“You don’t have to blame her beside she’s hurting beside I told you severally since that incident to hire someone to keep a special watch on her but you think it was over”Jake said to the governor who was already depressed.

“I thought that since we’ve killed his men that it was over and I didn’t know he was planning dangerous game”the governor said sighing deeply.

“We’ve searched everywhere for mike but we can’t find him,we heard he had relocated his family to California and I think he had this planned already”Jake said to the governor.

“What do you think we can do now, I don’t want that monster to harm my daughter neither do I want to leave the governorsh¡p for him”the Governor said sadly sipping his drink.

“The police are carrying out their investigation and we also need to carry our own investigation, just stay calm and take your medications”Jake said to the governor.

“If I get him, I’ll make sure he pau with his life, he think he can continue hiding from me but I’ll tell him that am more smarter than him”the governor said as tears drop from his eyes

Jake was quite suprised about this cause he had hærdly see the governor cry since he started working with him.

Nothing can make the governor cry but he just did because of his child.
🍒🍒🍒Dave’s POV

I couldn’t sleep at night, am just so worried about Peggy and I don’t know what they could be doing to her.

Have come to realize I was really in love with her and not because she was hot or the 53X we had.

She has now become like my second heart and now she’s missing.

I continued rolling on the bed and tears talking from my eyes like water.

“Peggy I hope God protect you for me, just for the last time for me to tell you since the time I saw you that I was truly in love with you.

You don’t deserve to be missing, you’ve been the most nice girl ever, you never rejected me knowing fully well you’re the governor daughter.

I hope your heart hear me wherever you are and I’ll make sure I find you even if its my last blood.

My life is meaningless without you, the smile, your l-ips
Please Peggy forgive me that I couldn’t protect you.

“Dave said this silently While he was crying as sleep took over him.

Mike POV

“Boss what do you think we should do now that we’ve captured her”Gus asked mike who was busy smoking.

“I want that bastard to believe she’s dead, i know they will start their investigation so we need to leave this country with her fast”mike said smiling micheviousluy.

“But…what do you intend to do with her since we’re travelling in a month time” Gus asked

“To make her my bride beside that girl is so hot, I’ll make her my bride ahhhhhhh” mike said laughing

“Yeah you’re really smart’ Gus said laughing too.

Peggy’s POV

I could hear them laughing but what are they planning to do for me that’s making them laugh.

Gosh, I caused a lot of trouble for Dave

I don’t know how my father will treat him.

I love Dave too but I just reacted that way cause I don’t know I Dave love me since he’s my fake boyfriend for one month.

My back really ache

Please Dave save me”Peggy said as she felt weak and her eyes closing.

Peggy fainted.
