Adrian’s POV
I waited in the car for hours but I didn’t see Bellatrix
Where the hell did she go? The deal was to meet up here in the car so why is she not coming? Did Eric manage to win her over? Did she figure out I was lying to her?
“Dad?” someone called outside and I opened the car door
“What the hell Bellatrix, I’ve been waiting for you for hours!!”
“I’m sorry Dad, I got away from that guy like you told me to but as I ran towards this place, I passed out” Bellatrix said
“Passed out? What do you mean passed out?” I asked
“I fell down and everything went blank, I only woke up like few minutes ago and I ran straight here” Bellatrix said
“What? Just…. Just get in, we have to go, we’ve already wasted too much time” I said
“Where are we going?” she asked as she climbed into the car
“Arcane County” I said
“Arcane County?”
“Yes, the plan was to only go there when we are finally ready to take over the city, but plans changed and we are going there now” I said as I started the car
I think I really killed Gia with the golden dagger, if Gia is really dead then that means I killed one of the Hammingtons and no matter where I run to, they will come for me and make me pay so before they come for me, I must prepare for them, and yes I do have a plan
Ivan’s POV
I came downstairs from my room and met Dianna walking in from the courtyard
“Who killed her?” she asked as sparks of flames began to show all over her body
“Your raging hex is kicking in Dianna” I said
“I said who killed her?!!!” she yelled as the flame suddenly overshadowed her
“I told you it was a bad idea removing those chains from her, it was the only thing keeping her in control, normal Dianna would be furious on hearing of Gia’s death but raging Dianna is literally bursting into flames” Ethan said
“Well stop talking, move your damn legs and go get the bloody chains!” I said and Ethan ran off to get the chains
“Who killed her? I won’t be asking again” Dianna said moving towards me
“Adrian Hunter, he killed her” Eric who has been seated silently on the couch said
“Adrian? Oh that does it” Dianna said as she angrily stormed out of the mansion
“Why the bloody hell will you tell her who killed Gia?!” I yelled
“She’s Gia’s sister, she needs to know” Eric said
“She is under the influence of the raging hex, she can do absolutely anything and everything!”
“I don’t care what she does as long as Adrian ends up dead” Eric said
“She went out vulnerable! If Adrian could kill Gia then he could do the same Dianna especially now that she isn’t thinking straight, did you not stop to think of that?!”
“Dianna won’t die, I have the golden dagger with me so Adrian will not be able to do anything to her, I know what it means to be consumed by the raging hex, it happened to me too remember? Dianna is fuming with anger right now and she will use all of herpower against Adrian, and I’d rather have her going after Adrian than you, you’ve become soft” Eric said
“What?!”
“Do you deny it Ivan? You are not as beastly as you used to be! Did you promise Gia that you’ll definitely get revenge for her death?” Eric scoffed “Same way you promised to get Sophie’s death avenged and seven years later, here we all are, Sophie’s death still not avenged so I won’t be trusting you with Gia’s revenge Ivan, I won’t!”
I stared at Eric for a minute and I nodded
“I guess you are right, this all is none of my business actually, after freeing Sophie’s spirit from The Hell Gates, I planned on leaving Arcane County forever since I cared about nothing anymore so I shall really leave now” I said as I walked upstairs and I bumped into Ethan
“You aren’t really leaving are you?” he asked and I ignored him
I went to my room, packed a few necessities on a backpack and I came back down the stairs
“Good luck with getting Gia’s revenge Eric and I hope your plan doesn’t backfires on your face cause I won’t be there to clean up your mess when that happens” I said and walked out
Adrian’s POV
I drove into Arcane County, to my mansion that now looks pretty much abandoned
“Is this your home?” Bellatrix asked as we walked in
“It used to be” I replied “It’s a shadow of it’s former self now”
“If this is your home, don’t you think it’s too risky to be here? We’ll easily be found” Bellatrix said
“The Hammingtons will find us wherever we go Bellatrix so it’s better we go to a place we have a better chance of fighting back and I can fight back here in Arcane City, I have people here and that’s what brings me to this Mansion” I said as I found a picture I was looking for in the shelf
“I need you to help me perform a locator spell on this guy” I showed Bellatrix the picture
“A locator spell? I…. I don’t know how to do that” she said
“You just need to concentrate, you are an innate one, you don’t need the complicated spells that other witches use, you just need to focus, picture his face on your head and find him!” I said
“But….but I don’t think I can” Bellatrix said
“What did I tell you before?”
“I am forbided to say I can not” she said
“So can you or can you not do this?” I asked
“Yes I can” she said
“Now get started” I said
She took the picture, stared it and closed her, everywhere was silent for a while then she finally opened her eyes
“Did you find him?” I asked
“No Dad, I….. I feel dizzy and my eyes spins, I really don’t think I can do this, I’m sorry” she said
“What?! You can’t perform a simple locator spell? How more useless can you be?!!” I yelled and she flinched
“Dad?” she called with a teary eyes
“Just….. let’s go I’ll find another witch to get the spell done” I said, walking out angrily…..

Adrian’s POV
Bellatrix and I went deep into the bayou and I got a witch that helped me siphon the locator spell
We drove to the location of the man I was looking for, he was a friend that used to work closely with me when I was the head of humans, if anyone can help me get people to fight for me again then it’s him
I knocked severally on the door and he finally opened up
“Adrian Hunter?” he called, surprised
“Been a long time, Vincent, can we come in?” I asked and he opened the door wide for us
“Why are you here Adrian? You killed the witch Layla and Gia, the Hammington family is in an uproar, everyone wants you dead” Vincent said
“You killed Mom?” Bellatrix asked
“It was in self defense Bellatrix, Gia would have killed me if I didn’t kill her first” I said and then turned to face Vincent
“How do you know that I killed Gia? Did the Hammingtons announced it to the whole City or something?”
“No, Dianna is the Queen of Arcane City so I kinda work there now” he said
“You work at the Hammington Mansion?!”
“Yes I do, so does almost everyone human that used to work for you and the witches that used to work for Eva Jones” Vincent said “And that’s why I’m telling you now, you shouldn’t be here, you shouldn’t be anywhere near Arcane City, Dianna is in rage and she stormed out to look for you, you should be driving as fast as you can away from Arcane City right now”
“I’ve been hiding for six years, I do not plan on hiding anymore, what about Eric and Ivan? What are their plans?” I asked
“I overheard them having a huge argument before I left the Mansion from my shift, Eric said something about Ivan becoming too soft and him never going to be able to get revenge for Gia’s death so Ivan got angry and left the Mansion, telling Eric to make sure he avenge Gia’s death himself that it was none of his business now” Vincent said
“What? So Ivan Hammington left the Mansion and is not concerned about getting revenge for Gia’s death?” I asked
“Yes, you know he wasn’t really on good terms with Gia before she disappeared” Vincent reminded
“No one was on good terms with Gia before we disappeared and that’s why this might actually work in my favor, Dianna is out and about causing havoc with her raging hex, Ivan has decided to detach himself from his family and Eric is grieving his twins sister so he isn’t actually in the right mindset to make good calls, the Hammingtons have never been more weak and divided, this is my chance Vincent, my chance to finally conquer them all” I said
“What are you planning Adrian?” Vincent asked
“Is it still possible for you to get me some strong men and witches?” I asked
“Not everyone is happy with the Hammingtons ruling, I could find some people for you” Vincent said
“Good, if you don’t mind I’ll be staying here with Bellatrix, no one will ever suspect me staying with you, it’s the perfect place to hide” I said
“Fine, I guess my job at the Hammington Mansion just ended” Vincent said
“What? No, you’ll continue to go there and get me all the information you can get, I plan on using a Hammington against another Hammington” I said
“How will you pull that off?” Vincent asked
“Last time, I used Gia against the rest of them, this time it will be the lone Hammington, Ivan” I said
“Oh I wouldn’t advice that Adrian, Ivan is the tough deal, though Eric said he’s gone soft but he’s only soft for his family, you shouldn’t mess with him” Vincent said
“I already messed with him by killing Gia and he isn’t doing anything about it, that shows he cares about his family no more and with the right enticement, I’ll be able to convince him to fight beside me, I just need to find a witch strong enough to find him” I said
“I can do it, I can find him for you” Bellatrix said
“No Bellatrix, you are practically useless right now” I said
“That’s why I want to prove you wrong, I’ll find him for you” she said
“And how do you plan on finding him?” I asked
“An innate one don’t need no spell, I’ll find him Dad” Bellatrix assured
“Well you two stay here, it’s morning and my shift at the Mansion is starting soon, I gotta go” Vincent said
“Remember the men and witches?” I asked
“I’ll try to recruit as many as I can” Vincent said
“And keep your ears to the ground, I need information” I said and he nodded as he walked out
Ethan’s POV
Eric and I sat in the dinning room as the workers served breakfast
“You really made Ivan leave” I said
“I didn’t make him leave, he left because he wanted to, he was always the loner anyway” Eric said
“The only reason I haven’t left this Mansion for you too is because I want Adrian’s head too, he killed Layla after all, so what exactly is your plan on getting revenge?” I asked
“I…..”
A witch suddenly ran in
“Dianna was sighted at Adrian Hunter’s Mansion, she’s setting the whole place on fire along with every other houses on the street!” the witch announced
“Damn it” Eric said standing up
“Ivan warned you didn’t he?” I said
“I can handle this Ethan, Dianna is my sister and I can handle her and I least expect a comment from you as you cursed her with the raging hex in the first place, if you really have nothing of help to contribute then I really think you should leave and get revenge on Adrian on your own” Eric said and walked out with the witch
Adrian’s POV
Bellatrix pricked her finger with a pin and let her blood drop on the map, she’s a Hammington too so she is going to use her blood to locate Ivan
She closed her eyes and soon the blood on the map started moving to a particular location and then it stopped and she opened her eyes
“He’s here” Bellatrix said
“Oh great Bellatrix, you ain’t so useless after all” I said as I picked up the map
“Are you going to meet him now?” she asked
“Of course, there’s no time to waste, I must make my moves now that their family bond as at a breaking point” I said
“Your hand is hurt isn’t it? Let me heal you then” Bellatrix said as she touched my arm that Gia had broke, fixing it and I was finally able to move it again without any pain
“Wow, this is great Bellatrix, if only you can always be this productive” I said
“I’ll try Dad, I’ll try to be the best daughter to you” Bellatrix said and I nodded
“Stay here for now, I’ll be back soon” I said and I walked out
The Hammingtons don’t really care about each anymore, Dianna is out of control because of a raging hex and Bellatrix is really learning to use her powers to help me and she isn’t asking me questions anymore, this is all too good to be true but then again, I guess destiny is finally on my side
I smiled as I climbed the car and drove off…..
