Eric’s POV
I took a few witches with me and we drove to Adrian Hunter’s Mansion
Dianna was setting the whole street ablaze and we immediately got her surrounded
“Dianna!! Dianna!!!” I yelled but she paid me no attention
What was I thinking, she’s not in her right senses
The witches casted a spell on her and she became more enraged, sending balls of fire at us
“That’s it!” I said as lightening strokes began to emanate from my body and I directed them at Dianna bringing her focus to me and me alone
She advanced towards me and grabbing my throat with her fiery hand she threw me unto a building and it exploded
I stood back and with the thunder rumbling, I sent lightening bolt to her and she fell to the ground
Adrian’s POV
I drove through Arcane City and the street was in uproar as the thunder rumbled
What’s going on?
I stopped my car and I overheard the people talking about Dianna setting the head of the human house on fire and with Eric trying to stop him, they are destroying the whole street
Head of the humans? That is me
I smiled as I drove through the street, how far the Hammington siblings have fallen, they are all broken and have nothing to live for anymore but not to worry, I shall put them all to rest soon
I followed Ivan’s map and I drove to a bar shop outskirts of the city
He was seated alone and having a drink and I went to sit with him on his table
“May I join you Ivan Hammington?” I asked and he looked at me
“I never asked you to sit” he said and I cleared my throat nervously
“Why have you come so far from the Hammington Mansion?” I asked and he ignored me and continued to have his drink
“You seem to be having a bad time, I heard some rumors that you left the Hammington Mansion, for good this time, is that true?” I asked and he stamped his glass of beer on the table loudly and looked at me
“After all you’ve done, how brazen of you to disturb my drinking time, I ought to rip out your throat right now but then again, I care about nothing no more but if you cross my path a second time, I shall make you take your last breath” Ivan said as he stood up with his backpack and walked out of the bar
I ran after him and finally caught up with him
“Wait Ivan wait” I said and he immediately grabbed me by my throat
“I told you not to cross my part a second time” he said as he tightened his grip on my neck
“I…..I have a…..a…..de….. deal for…..you” I managed to say as Ivan continued to crush my throat with his grip
He finally let me go and I fell on the ground
“What deal?” he asked and I staggered up on my feet
“Let’s go sit somewhere and talk about it” I said and he made to walk away but I quickly blocked his path
“Fine, fine I’ll tell you right here” I said and he stopped
“Work with me” I said
“What?!”
“Work with me to take down Eric and Dianna” I said
“Why the bloody hell will I do that?”
“Because you don’t care about them anymore and because you’ll gain a lot from helping me” I said
“And what exactly is it that I will gain?” he asked
“Power” I said
“I already have that”
“There are rumors that Eric spoke out of turns to you and Dianna killed the woman you loved, you can get revenge on them” I said
“I don’t care about revenge anymore either and even if I do, I do not need your help to get it” he said
“I’ll give you Bellatrix if you help me, she’s the most powerful witch to ever be born, she’s going to be the most powerful of all you Hammingtons, your power is going to be nothing compared to has, she…..” I stopped talking when I noticed the death stare Ivan gave me
“I hate being compared to anyone, least of all someone that is supposed to be my niece and if I want Bellatrix, you cannot stop me from getting her, I don’t need to make a deal with you for anything, you have absolutely nothing to offer me” Ivan said
“Maybe you are right, everything I have to offer you, you can get it for yourself but if you do not help me, I will find another way and I will end Eric and Dianna and take over the city while you go about wandering alone at God knows where, all I’m offering Ivan is for you to take a seat at the top with me, let’s conquer the city together and we won’t be stopping at Arcane City, let’s take over the whole world together Ivan, your powers with my brain, we will be unstoppable” I said and Ivan stared at me
“You want to take over the whole world?” he asked
“Yes I do” I nodded
“Well good luck with that, it’s none of my business” he said and made to leave
“Ivan…”
“Fine, I’ll help you take down Eric and Dianna but in the end you hand over Bellatrix to me and I get to rule Arcane while you go about conquering your world” he said
“You’ll rule Arcane City? What about me then?” I asked
“You’ll be second in command and you can rule in the other cities you conquer, if you don’t accept my conditions then it’s good, I’m not the one desperate for help” Ivan said
“Fine, I agree to all of your conditions, let’s work together” I said
“You must be really desperate to have agreed” Ivan said
“I am desperate Ivan and do not double cross me else I’ll…..”
“Are you about to threaten me Adrian Hunter?” Ivan asked and I got a cold feet
“No, no let’s just go” I said…..

Adrian’s POV
I drove Ivan back to Arcane City and the street wasn’t in an uproar anymore, seemed the Dianna and Eric situation had been taken care of
We got to Vincent’s house and we came down from the car
“So this is where you are hiding” Ivan said looking around
“Not hiding Ivan, only staying here temporarily” I said
We walked into the house together and I couldn’t find Bellatrix
“Bellatrix?” I called out loudly but I got no response
“Bellatrix?!!” I called again
“You lost the little girl?” Ivan asked
“She was supposed to stay here and await my return” I said
“Well she’s not here right now is she?” Ivan muttered
“Maybe she stepped out for a little bit of air, she must not have gone far as I told her to stay right here and she never disobeys me”
“Well it seems like your little girl has grown some wings” Ivan chuckled and I ignored him and walked out to look for Bellatrix
“Bellatrix!!!” I called severally as I looked around the house but I got no response and I saw no one
Where the hell did she disappear to? Did I make a mistake leaving her alone? Should I have taken her with me when I was going to get Ivan?
I walked back into the house and met Ivan looking around with a smile on his face
“Is there something you find fascinating?” I asked
“I’m just realizing how ironical it is that I am working with you right now against the ones I call family, but then again, great minds should work together to achieve great things right?” Ivan said and I nodded with a smile
“You are finally getting my point Ivan, we are both destined for greatness, we are both powerful and we think alike, if we work together, there is absolutely nothing we cannot achieve” I said and Ivan nodded
“Right so what is your plan? How do you plan on getting rid of my brother and sister?” Ivan asked
“It’s simple, they are already divided now so we just attack” I said
“You plan is just to attack? You have such a very detailed plan laid out” Ivan said trying to be sarcastic
“Yeah I know you think that’s not a detailed plan but that’s exactly what I plan to do, I killed Gia so Dianna and Eric are probably expecting me to go into hiding, they won’t expect to see me coming for them and I shall use that to my advantage” I said
“Dianna is the Queen of Arcane City, she has an army to fight for her, she’s under the influence of the raging hex which makes her a ruthless beast right now and Eric is by her side too and he’s not an easy opponent either, do you expect just the two of us to be fighting against such an army? I might want more power Adrian but I don’t do lost causes” Ivan said
“This is not a lost cause Ivan, when I say I have a plan, I do have a plan, a friend of mine, he owns this place, his name is Vincent and he’s currently recruiting Dianna’s people to fight for me” I said and just about then, Vincent walked in
“Oh my God!!” he exclaimed immediately he walked in
“That’s….. that’s Ivan Hammington, how did he find you here? Am I going to die for hiding you?” Vincent asked as beads of sweats immediately began to form on his forehead
“Breath Vincent, you are not dying, Ivan is not here to kill anybody, he’s here to help us” I said
“What?!!”
“I made a deal with him, he’s going to work with us from now on” I said
“Hello” Ivan waved “You look very familiar, do you work at the mansion?” Ivan asked and Vincent nodded
“And you are working for Adrian too, you two timing dude, you are smart” Ivan said
Vincent moved closer to me and whispered
“Are you sure he’s not just acting? What if he’s really here to kill you?” he asked
“I literally begged him to work with me Vincent, if he wanted to kill me you’d have met my dead body when you arrived” I said
“Yeah Vincent, he’s right, he’ll have been long dead if I wanted him to be” Ivan said and I looked at him
“I have a sharp hearing ability” he shrugged and I ignored him
“Were you able to get people to work for me Vincent?” I asked
“Yes I did, turns out most people are already tired of Dianna’s reign as the family is currently falling apart, you know she went out of control today and burnt down a lot of houses, Eric was barely able to contain her and Ethan and the other witches helped cast a spell that helped her back to her senses so with all this happening, it was very easy to convince most people to work for you and I got about 50 people on our side now” Vincent explained
“50 people? That’s not bad, that’s really great” I said
“If you have that amount of people on your side, I’d say we attack Eric and Dianna tonight” Ivan said
“Tonight? Isn’t that too sudden?” I asked
“Do you want to wait for a month before making your move then? Or maybe years? You have all you need right now and you have me so what’s stopping you?” Ivan asked
“No one is prepared” I said
“Well we still have a few hours to nightfall so start getting prepared, you said it yourself before, you have the advantage of surprise now, use it, no one will suspect us attacking the mansion tonight, so we should take advantage of that” Ivan said and I nodded
“I think you are right” I said and faced Vincent “All those on my side, get them ready and stationed around the mansion, we are attacking them tonight” I said
“Okay, I’ll do that” Vincent said and walked out
“What about Eric and Dianna, how do we take care of them?” I asked
“Eric has a golden dagger and I can get it from him, you guys just need to keep Dianna contained long enough for me to get the dagger from Eric, when I get the dagger from Eric I will be killing them all” Ivan said
“Great but I still think we are forgetting someone, the Guardian of The Hell Gates, Ethan, he also resides in the mansion doesn’t he?” I asked
“Ethan has a soft spot for me, he won’t be fighting against us if he sees me with you guys” Ivan assured
“That’s settled then, I still have no idea where Bellatrix is but after we’ve killed Dianna and Eric and we become rulers of Arcane City, she won’t really be able to hide from me” I said
“Bellatrix is a kid, we don’t need her now, you only need me and you’ve got me” Ivan said and I nodded
“You are right, I’ve got all I need and we are storming the Hammington Mansion tonight”……
