Adrian’s POV
We slept in the woods, just outskirts of Arcane County and as soon as the soon began to shine it’s light on the sky, I woke Bellatrix up
“Hey get up, it’s time for your training” I said
“Training?” she said with a yawn
“I told you if you want to meet Dianna, you must get stronger, Dianna is evil and if you appear in front of her weak like this she will kill you” I said
“Why? You said she’s my real mother” Bellatrix said
“I also said she killed your real father too because he was kind and weak, if she killed the man she claimed to love then do you think she won’t be able to kill a lost daughter that she hasn’t seen in years?” I asked and Bellatrix sighed
“She is evil, she’s like the evil witches in fairytales I used to read”
“Yes and that’s why you must get stronger so you can finally face her” I said
“I miss Mom” Bellatrix heaved a sad sigh and I knew she was talking about Gia
“I told you Bellatrix, she is not your mother, she is just as evil as Dianna, when she got you away from her she wanted to kill you, I convinced her not to, you still referring to her as your mother after all I just told you means you are still a weakling!”
“I am not a weakling Dad” she said
“If you really are not a weakling then you will forego all emotions, stand up and master your powers and the become the very powerful witch you were meant to be” I said
“I cannot Dad” she said
“What do you mean you cannot?” I asked
“I don’t think I have as much powers as you think I do, I cannot do all the things you want me to, even last night, I panicked out there, I cannot become the powerful witch that you want Dad” Bellatrix said
“Get up on your feet and follow me” I said and she stood up, following me as I walked
I walked deeper into the woods till we came to a place with large spacing and a boulder right in the middle
“What are we doing here Dad?” Bellatrix asked, her eyes darting around
“There are going to be some rules for today, the first being a forbidden word, you are not allowed to say the word ‘can not’ today, do you get that?” I asked
“Yes Dad”
“You are capable of much more than you are limiting your self to Bellatrix, your only problem is focusing and that’s why the second rule for today is you must clear your mind of everything, only focus on the task I’ll be giving to you, can you do that?” I asked
“Dad, I can no….”
“You must not say your forbidden word, can you or can you not focus today?!”
“Y….. yes I can” she said
“Good, you see that boulder of rock over there? I want you to lift it up with your mind, can you do that?”
“Yes…. I….I can” she said
“What do you need to do to lift it up?” I asked
“I just need to focus, clear my mind of everything and only focus on the task you’ve given me” she said
“Good, now proceed, remember, you more than capable of doing this” I said
She stared at the boulder with apt concentration and soon the rock was slowly moving up into the air
“That’s good Bellatrix you are doing it, now I want you to also place it back gently on the ground” I said and she did
“I did it Dad I really did it” she jumped up with joy
“This is not the time to lose focus Bellatrix, we still have more tasks ahead” I said and she nodded
“Now I want you to try uprooting that tree from the ground with your mind, can you do that?” I asked
“What?! That tree is….. Yes I can” she said in the end and I nodded
“Good, now be confident, focus, and try it” I said and she obeyed
Staring intently at the tree, it soon began to shake and the roots were slowly coming up from the ground, she succeeded, the tree was floating on air
“Don’t let it down Bellatrix, I want you to set it on fire as it’s on air” I said
“What?! Dad I….”
“Can you or can you not do that?”
“Yes I can” she said with a sigh, her eyes still focused on tree floating on air
“Good, now try setting it ablaze on air” I said
I watched the tree with all concentration, expecting the tree to be ablaze soon but to my utmost dismay, the tree suddenly shredded into pieces scattering all over the place
“Ouch!” Bellatrix yelped as a sharp piece of the three had cut her arm
“I told you to set it on fire not tear it into pieces!!” I yelled
“I’m sorry, I must have lost focus for a minute” Bellatrix apologized
“I told you to do all you can to focus, always focus, you are going to continue trying that till you succeed in setting a tree ablaze on air, even if it takes you lifting up all the trees in this forest” I said
“But…. but my hand, it’s wounded” she said pointing at her bleeding arm
“Oh please, you are an immortal, it will heal in the next minute so get started!!” I yelled
Layla’s POV
“You sure it wasn’t a bad idea to not go along with Dianna?” I asked Eric as I prepared for Gia’s tracking spell
“I have a personal business with Gia and as long I have not succeeded in my mission of killing her then I will not be able to do anything else so can you be fast and get me Gia’s location?!” Eric said
“I do not have any direct link of Gia to use as anchor for the tracking spell Eric, I’m using your blood cause you still have some link to her as you are her twin brother so this is going to take a little more time than it’s supposed to” I explained
“Just get started already” Eric said as he paced round me
“If you stop the pacing maybe I’ll be able to concentrate and things will go a little more faster” I said and he stopped
I started the spell and it took a little while but I got Gia’s location
“She’s moving fast” I said as I pointed at the dot on the map representing Gia
“She’s not in the same location with Bellatrix, she seems to be driving” I said and Eric grabbed the map from my hands
“Thank you for this” he said as he took a car key and ran out
“He’s gone?” Ivan asked coming down the stairs
“He didn’t even allow me to tell him what I saw” I said
“What did you see?” Ivan asked
“Flashes of Gia, she seems to have a golden dagger with her” I said
“Of course she does, she and Adrian made their own dagger years ago, remember?” Ivan said
“Gia has a golden dagger and Eric is going to meet her empty handed, it’s risky, he could die” I said
“Oh, well I wish him all the best” Ivan said as he sat down on the couch and I went to stand in front of him
“I just said Eric could die and you didn’t seem the least concerned”
“Did you expect me to start weeping when he’s not even dead yet?” he asked
“Oh so you will weep when he dies?” I asked
“Bloody no, I have other stuffs I’m concerned about” Ivan said and I stared at his eyes
“You know when Sophie died, you started to change a little, even though you were filled with hate for your siblings, you started to care about others, you started to be good, but since you returned I’ve read your mind and I see no hate or bitterness there, you do not despise your siblings anymore and I thought that was a good thing but I’m not so sure about that now, when you hated them, you at least were interested in their life and what they did but now your mind is just all about freeing Sophie’s spirit and the rest is blank, you do not care about what happens or what doesn’t happens after that, you do not care if Earth blows over or if you lose all of your siblings, you care about nothing at all now, at least then you were filled with hate but now you’ve become empty and void”
“Are you done? Ethan and I are carrying out the spell tonight which means I won’t be getting any sleep later on so if you are done talking, allow me some sleep please” he said as he laid on the couch, closing his eyes
“What about Ethan? Do you also not care about him now?” I asked
“Ethan is a grown up now, he is more than capable of taking care of himself and so is all of my siblings so let me be Layla, I need not to clean after any of them anymore, they should actually be grateful that I am no longer after their heart so they have one less enemy to worry about” Ivan said and I sighed
He really doesn’t care about them anymore…..

Dianna’s POV
I drove my car at the highest speed, finally stopping when I got to the woods outskirts of Arcane County
I walked into the woods and everywhere was silent at first, and I began to debate on whether to shout out her name or not
Before I could come to a decision, I saw a large smoke suddenly beginning to waft through the air from a place in the wood not too far from where I stood and I heard a little girl’s excited squeal
“Dad I did it! Come and see Dad, the tree is still floating on air, and it’s on fire” I heard the little girl’s voice and I moved in the direction of her voice
I came to an opening and a tree was burning on air and the little girl was looking at the tree with a smile plastered on her face
“Bel….. Bellatrix?” I called and she looked at me as her burning tree fell to the ground
“Who are you? And how do you know my name?” she asked looking at me and a tear rolled down my eyes
She’s is my little girl and she’s not so little anymore, the tingling of the hex on my wrist confirmed it but the least thing I was concerned about now is the hex, I finally found my daughter, after six years, I finally found her
“Bellatrix” someone called and I saw Adrian Hunter walking towards her
“Adrian?!” I called in dismay
Bellatrix began to walk towards him and I quickly ran to her, grabbing her hand and pulling her back
“Don’t go near him Bellatrix, he’s dangerous, last time I saw him, he was concocting with my sister and trying to kill us all” I said still holding on to Bellatrix
“What are you talking about? He is my father” Bellatrix said
“What?!”
“Come over here Bellatrix, let Dad tell you something” Adrian said and she jerked off my hand and ran off to meet Adrian
“What is going on?” I asked and Adrian smiled and whispered something to Bellatrix and then she looked up at me, with a hatred in her eyes like I’ve never seen before
“You are Dianna Hammington” Bellatrix said and I nodded
“Yes I am”
“So you gave birth to me” she said and I also nodded
“Yes sweetheart, I am your mother”
“No you are not” she said
“What do you mean by that?”
“That you gave birth to me doesn’t make you my mother, you are an evil lady, you even killed the man that’s supposed to be my father” Bellatrix said
“Killed who? What are you talking about?! I might be evil to everyone else but not to you Bellatrix, I’ve always loved you, right from the moment I gave birth to you”
“You are pretending like you care about me now but if you love me so much why did you give me up to Mom? Why did you let Mom take me away from you and why did you not look for me?” Bellatrix asked
“Mom?” I looked at Adrian
“Who is she referring to as Mom?”
“Oh she means Gia” Adrian said
“So Gia raised you?” I asked
“She did, she didn’t particularly do a great job at it as she lied to me my whole life but at least she did what my real mother couldn’t” Bellatrix said
“Sweetheart when Gia took you away, I searched everywhere for you and I didn’t find you, I tried tracking you with magic but it didn’t work and I was told it’s either Gia had killed you or you were at Mordor, a place magic can’t penetrate, for years I tried to find my way to Mordor but I couldn’t, apparently some kind of night stone is needed to gain an entrance to Mordor and there was no more night stone outside of Mordor so I was unable to find you, for years I only prayed that you still live”
“Don’t listen to her Bellatrix, she’s trying to deceive you, that’s what she always does” Adrian said and I turned to look at him as I felt an anger curse through my veins like never before
I am angry yes, but this anger was enormous, overtaking my whole being and I am not able to keep it in check or keep it at bay, it was the raging hex slowly taking over
“What lies did you feed to my daughter Adrian Hunter?” I asked and the phoenix flame overshadowed my whole body as I moved towards Adrian
“Dianna….. Dianna I….”
I gripped his throat with my fiery hand lifting him up from the ground
“Let Dad go” I heard Bellatrix’s voice behind but I cared not, I was just so angry and just as I made to rip Adrian’s heart out, I heard a shrieking scream
“Let him go!!!” I heard Bellatrix scream and my neck suddenly snapped and everywhere became blank….
Eric’s POV
Following the tracking map I got from Layla, I drove past Arcane City
I didn’t have a particular plan, I just knew today was gonna end with me killing Gia, and I will kill her, by whatever means necessary
I glanced at the tracking map and it showed I was getting closer to Gia, she was moving towards me and I towards her
I drove on for a while and I saw a car coming down road from ahead
I glanced at the map and I was sure it was Gia so I stepped on my speed aiming at her and crashing into her car which brought both out cars to an abrupt stop
She stepped out of the car angrily
“What do hell was that?! You deliberately crashed into my car, do you have a death wish?” she asked and I came down from the car
“Maybe I do” I said and her eyes widened with surprise
“Eric” she called
“Judging from the surprise written on your face, you obviously didn’t expect to see me, but I do not care about that right now” I said as I moved closer to her and punched her hard on the face
“What the bloody hell was that for?!!” she yelled
“Did you forget? You killed Eva, you bloody ripped her heart out right in front of me!” I said as I punched her again and again and again till she fell on the floor with a bleeding face
“Stop” she said as she staggered back up
“I do not want to fight you Eric, I have more pressing matters”
“Unfortunately you are my most pressing matter right now” I said as I sent her flying to the ground with my lightening hand and she fell to the ground with a thud
The thunder rumbled loudly and before she managed to stand up again, I directed all the lightening I could at her and when I finally stopped, she was on the ground, unconscious……
