CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR: CONFUSED SITUATION 2( DREAM OF DEATH )
Muchen furrows his eyebrows, why is she still asleep? Looking at her, I frown and then stare at the bottle of wine she took, picking it up, I pull it closer to read it carefully, I don’t remember having this wine.
She took it close to the window and begin to drink, why didn’t I check it before letting her do as she wish? Inhaling the scent from the bottle, I withdraw quickly and cover my nose.
Don’t tell me Margaret is still trying to kill me. No, she knows I don’t like to take wine, which only means she expected Jing to drink the wine but why?
Why kill your child just to get rid of me? Has Lady Margaret gone insane? My gaze moves back to stare at Jing who is still sleeping, I wonder what she is dreaming about, if she doesn’t come out soon….am dead.
Why do some like her have to hold my life? She is not weak but knows nothing about this world! ” Li-mu” calling, it took three minutes before he step into the chamber “Arrange my carriage, am going to the witch’s coven ”
” Milord?”
” Jing needs three hours before she wakes up, and three hours in the dream world is more like three days here”
” What do you mean?”
” I have to get into her dream, to bring her out ”
” Milord, it’s risky, what if you have no way out, you might die ”
” Nonsense, I can’t die over such a thing, am more than capable of that “Getting up, I lift Jing in a bridal style ” I just can’t let her die ”
” Milord, they are things you haven’t mentioned to me ”
” Indeed ”
” I will like to hear of it ”
” Jing has the key ” Looking at Li-mu, I notice the change of expression “Yes, we all thought my reincarnating will change things but Lady Margaret, is smart…..she mess with my body, hiding fifty percent of my potential in that key and putting it in Jing ”
” That will only kill her child “Li-mu growled, ” doesn’t she love her child?”
” I have pondered on that question, several times but still can’t find a satisfying answer” replying, I move out of the chamber “We must hurry, time is not on our side “Li-mu try to catch up with me
” Milord, they might be a slight problem with this arrangement”
” What do you mean?”
” In two days, the king of the southern nation is visiting”
I stop and look at Li-mu “You mean lord gu- mu? ” Li-mu nodded and I growl not liking the turn of events one bit, if gu-mu is to be around and I happened not to give him an official greeting, they will be chaos and a lot of chaos
Judging that his kingdom is bigger, both in technology, weapons, and people, winning them in war will be difficult, that’s the main reason, we are under them, and to make matters worst lord gu-mu adores Jing, he will ask of her ” fasten the speed” I growl, time is sticking, looking out the window for a while, I advert my gaze three minutes later to state at a sleeping Jing.
” What are you doing now?” She has this beautiful and calm face when sleeping, she even looks more seductive ” What could your drink be about? Me? ” Using my finger, I rob her lips then swallow “Kissing you now will be very wrong, judging from the fact that you are not awake ” I lower my hands to her exposed neck and then slowly to her cleavage, my gaze moving to her left breast, the dress is doing a good job in covering her up, but I want to see.
If she was awake, am pretty sure she will try to hit my hands off her body, my fingers slowly move back to her lips, cheeks, ear, and back to her neck…..a gasp escapes her lips and I smile, even a spell can’t keep you from moaning right.
I blink my eyes when a mark appears on her chest, I quickly loosen her dress a little to see a star mark on her right breast, but before I could ponder on it, li-mu call got me off, guard
” Milord?” Hearing Li-mu’s desperate voice, I lay Jing on the couch and step out, my eyes widen at the huge hole that separates us from the witch’s coven ” they are no way to get, to the other side ”
” They have to be ” I growl, I can’t think of anything else to do, time is not on my side ” Li-mu, head back to the palace”
” Milord?”
” I need you to make preparations for the royal greeting”
” Yes milord, I will await your return ” I nod at Li-mu, go back into the carriage, and lift Jing up in my arms and into the hole, if I remember or guess correctly, the hole should have no end, it is more like an endless pit.
Clearing my throat, I exhale before yelling ” I require an audience with your greatness” Silence reply me but I didn’t give up “It is your lord Dracula, do not be fooled by this unrequited body of mine, your king has returned!!!” Silence replied for a few minutes before the voice begin to come out
” He does sound like Dracula”
” But he looks nothing like our king!” One of them yells, that voice, I know who that is
” Christina? Are you sure, you do not miss me?” The voice vanish again and I was beginning to think, they don’t believe me…..few minutes passed and the moment I blink my eyes, I find myself in the middle of the coven
” Lord Dracula?” I stare at the twelve witches, Christina seated in the middle, as the queen ” Is it truly you?”
” Indeed ”
” You smell quite weak ” she mumbles before stepping down ” You look weak ”
” I have had issues Christina ” replying to her, I exhale, frowning at the look in her eyes “Do not tell me you still have doubts?”
“On the contrary, lord Dracula” she stops an inch away from me ” who is this woman, sleeping in your arms ”
” My wife ” my reply was short, I notice the way her eyes burned with jealousy, yes….the witches here all have a thing for me “You look down ”
” I can see why Lady Margaret will want to end your life ”
” Josephine was her sister ” Angela, one of the other witches chuckled before mumbling “Playing with two sisters, always ends in the wrong turn.
” What bring you here ” Christina fold her hands and frown ” you always here when you require assistance ”
” Indeed ” Bending down, I slowly drop Jing on the ground “Someone cast a spell on her ”
” The dream of death?” Christina gasp and I nod “Don’t tell me, you want us to send you there?”
” I will appreciate it if you did”
” Milord, you might die ”
” If my wife doesn’t come out in time” I look at her and then smile ” I will die, the counting already started, and a star has appeared on her chest ”
” Two more stars and she is finished ” Angela mumbled “My queen, what is your decision on this ”
” Lord Dracula seems to be quite fond of this woman” Her words seem to have a hedge of jealousy ” What happened to Josephine, is this her reincarnated body?”
” Josephine is dead ” I look at her, anger in my eyes “Don’t compare her to Jing, that is unacceptable ”
” So you still prefer Josephine to……”
I cut her off ” Josephine is the past, Jing right here, is rather too important to let die, considering the fact that I might die too ” They must think I keep mentioning my dying as my emotions vanishing, they had no clue that I will literally die too, permanent death on my side.
The gods have always been unfair to me, just one trip to the heavens and they demand my death.
” Lay down next to your wife ” Christina move back to her throne “The ritual will start now “She look at me with concern “Just make sure you return safely”
Jing finally escapes from lord Muchen’s quarters, walking around the palace, I frown at the walls, they seem quite fake, why am I noticing things now “Milady” Ju-li approaches me “You look quite stressed, what’s the matter?”
” Nothing, excuse me ” I try walking pass him but his right hand stops me “What is it?”
” It’s Thursday”
” And?”
” You always spend your time in the library “They are trying their best to keep me from escaping, since they mention I should not leave the palace, that only means, the way out is to leave the palace
” Am in no need for novel reading right now “Pulling my hand from his, I frown ” I will appreciate it if you refrain from holding my hands ” With that, I move towards my quarters, my gaze moving to the palace gate each chance I have…. a lot of gates are surprisingly there.
” How do I….” I couldn’t finish my words when someone pull me into a dark corner, hands covering my mouth to prevent me from screams, fear-cloth my chest while I lift my gaze to stare at a pair of red eyes, and I frown.
His hair is white ” Jing ” blinking, I realize that voice “The white hair is quite confusing right? ”
” Muchen?”
” Don’t worry, am here now ” I had no idea when I hug him, tears in my eyes ” is okay, I promise to get you out of here, you’re safe, trust me ”

CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE: CONFUSED SITUATION 3( DREAM OF DEATH )
Jing looks at Muchen for the third time ” I just don’t get you, do you mean, you’re in my dream?” He nods and I fold my hands ” How did that happen”
” Do not tell me you wish to waste your time here, talking about this ” he furrows his brows and I nod in understanding, I just can’t believe how white his hair is, he looks different, red eyes, really tall and white long hair tied in a ponytail
” Why do you have long hair?” I asked when he slowly pull me out of the dark corner, right now, we are headed to the gates, the place looks dark, where are the guards?
” That happened to be something, I can’t explain now ”
” I like you better this way ” mumbling, he stop and look at me, I do not get the meaning of the look but by the time he look away, he seem impressed “How do you plan on escaping ”
” We have two hours left, I need you to get out of this palace and just keep running ahead ”
” What do you mean?”
” Jing, once you wake up, I wake up, it’s your dream so it’s important you get out first ”
” Why aren’t you coming?”
” The king and queen Mona are headed this way, I already kill the guards, hurry up and do what I said you should!!!” I look back and notice the fake lord Muchen and queen Mona headed towards our direction ” Jing ”
” Alright” I hold his hands ” please be safe ”
” I will the moment you start running” he push me out of the gates and I just kept on running, I didn’t look back nor did I look side way, my eyes just kept seeing a clear road and I had no intention of stopping, getting out of here means saving Muchen, I have to get this done successfully.
No matter how long I keep running, the road seems to have no end, the sky keeps getting dark, the sound of trees moving, the trees seem stiff, like some Plastic.
I stop, trying to catch my breath while I look around “You should keep on running princess crystal”
” Shut up, these things are creepy ”
” When you stop they will get to you ”
” What will?” I look sideways and stare at her, her white hair tied in a high ponytail “What are you talking about”
” Creatures crystal” she step closer ” They always smile, they don’t die, once spotted, they will eat you alive….you have to keep running, you’re close which means, they should be around ……” Before she could complete her sentence, I heard sounds from the bushes
” Jing?” That voice, just like my father ” Where are you, child ”
” Crystal!!” She holds my hand “Start running ” After that, I felt her push and I continue, but each further I get, the place keeps getting dark, and more voices and screams keep erupting “Don’t listen, don’t look, just run ” that lady mumble in my ears and I heed to her instructions.
I just kept running and eventually stopped, no more roads, complete darkness ” Where are we?”
” No, where ” she replied “We need to do something, this is your actual dream, pit darkness, just need you to wake up now ”
” How do I do that? Pinch myself?”
” That’s funny Crystal”
” I was being serious”
” Oh, you were?”I notice how she forces herself from laughing “The time is still counting tho”
” You don’t need to tell me that ” I frown” What’s your name ”
” Diamond ” she smile ” and you’re crystal, silver refused to show up ”
” Who exactly are you?”
” The deal is not to tell you ” she shrug ” but am your friend”
” Do you have any idea why Lady Margaret wants me dead? Why my mother hates me?”
” Mother?” She furrows her brows ” Last Margaret is not your mother, you were never born humanly”
” What do you mean?” Looking around, I shake my head ” We will talk about this later, right now, I need to get out of here, any ideas?”
” Yes” she moves closer ” they are only one way ”
” What is it?” I look at her with trust and the next thing happening, is her stabbing me right to my chest, stepping back, I look at the knife to my chest and look at her “What are you doing ”
” That’s the only way to save you”
” What do you mean?” I growl “You’re trying to kill me!!!” Am slowly losing consciousness” Why will you Stab me?”
” Am sorry, I am…I thought killing you here, means you waking up in the real world ”
” What do you mean ”
” It doesn’t matter, either way, you will come back to us ”
” What are you saying?” I fall to my knees and she moves closer to me, cupping my face in her hands
” If you don’t wake up in earth, you will return to the heavens, with me?” Those were the last word I heard before passing out or dying, not sure which one.
Muchen look at them and smiles “Don’t you guys think, this is a childish game?”
” Game ?” I watch him change to his actual form” This is Lady Margaret’s order ”
” And I see you still follow her, like a damn dog ”
” You do not get to insult my brother!!!” Jasmine tell when she reveals her real form ” Lady Margaret is superior”
” And almost got you two killed, haven’t you two ever wondered why she wants that woman dead?”
” She is with the key, when she dies, you’re gone which will make things easier for us ”
” I will ask you two, a very serious question” I step closer ” In this form, do you think you can defeat me?”
” You’re in your actual form Dracula, we are not stupid enough to fight you, not after what you did in the heavens” Derek growled” is still amazes me that Zeus did not kill you ”
” Why will you go to that length to get power?” Jasmine frown ” We were doing alright, we were partners? You were still the strongest ”
” You two will never understand ”
” What do you mean ” Derek stepped closer ” You betrayed us!!!!”
” I need it for Josephine okay!!!” Growling, my eyes move to the sky, how dark it keeps getting ” her life was in danger ”
” She still ended up dying, you did literally nothing, you just got yourself reincarnated and half of your power sealed in that woman body!!!!”
” That shouldn’t be you two busi….” I stop talking when I feel a sharp pain straight to my chest, blinking, I step back and fall down ” what’s happening” I tried breathing but that seemed way too difficult, I know this feeling.
Jing, what’s happening?
I need to get there, fast, I knew I shouldn’t have left her alone
