The teacher’s lips stretched into a smile as she watch her students presenting their work one after the other. It was quite interesting bringing everyone in the class alive.

“I’m so proud of each and every one of you. You guys really impressed me with your brief and mind blowing work” She said grabbing her books. “You all passed the test”

“YESS” most of the students chorused.

“Adios class” she said and then leave the class.

“Hey Jennifer” Ethan called. “Sorry I didn’t work very hard with you. I feel like a jerk” he whispered.

“It’s okay, the assignment isn’t hard anyway” Jennifer shrugged.

“Thanks, you did great” Ethan said.

“Yeah.. by the way.. I wanna ask if you’ll.. c..come to the party with me?” Jennifer asked, she had craving to ask him.

Ethan spared a glace with Annabelle, remembering how cold she act towards him, be replied. “You know what, yeah, I’d love to go with to the party with you”

“Really?” Jennifer’s face lit up instantly. Ethan nodded and she pull him close by his arm. “Thank you, thank you” she squealed by his side, but pull away realizing what she did. She look up and found Ethan staring down at her.

“I’m sorry.. I got a little excited”she said awkwardly and heard him chuckled.

“It’s fine” Ethan said.

“You’re coming to the party right?” Daniel asked Annabelle.

“Not a chance. I find party a waste of time” She said.

“It’s going to be fun. I’d love to go there but I need to bring a partner to go in”

“That’s immature” Annabelle muttered.

“Tssk.. I’m thinking of asking Patricia but the chance is Very slim” He said.

“Oh really” her voice had a trace of distain in it.

“Yeah” Daniel said and look back at Patricia.

“I’m asking Tony to come to the dance with me” Patricia said to Barbara.

“Huh?” Barbara raised her brow, surprised by what she said.

“What?” Patricia asked.

“But that’s the guy, I told you I have feelings for months” Barbara said.

“Oh” Patricia mumbled. “I kinda like him too. Sorry but he’s mine” she said and stood up to leave.

Barbara breath out in disbelief.

Daniel followed Patricia out of the class. “Hey” he called and she stop to look at him.

“What do you want?” She asked, she’s back to her old self.

“I just wanna say we did a good job on the assignment” Daniel smiled.

“Hm, good for us” she replied and made to leave.

“Wait!” He called her again.

“Urgh, what Dan?” She snapped at him.

“I.. I was wondering if you’ll like to come to the party with me” he said. Patricia burst into laughter leaving Daniel in confusion.

“What? Are you crazy? You mean you and I to a party? Just because we talked well while doing the assignment doesn’t give you the right to say trash to me.. trash” Patricia said coldly and look down at him. “You’re disgusting” she said and walked away.

Daniel wipe the tears that creep out at the corner of his eyes. This will be the first time her word will hit him this hard.

Ethan was given detention for hitting his fellow students. Just like he had said, he decided not to bother her anymore. Annabelle stood from a distance and watch him talk to Jennifer. His smile was cute.

Their eyes met for a moment but then he look away.

“Hey” someone called behind her. She turn just to see the girl who dress like a boy. “Did you remember me? I’m selene” she introduced.

“Hi.. then” she said.

“Don’t they look cute?” She asked pointing her chin to Ethan and Jennifer. Annabelle look back at them.

“Indeed” she muttered.

“Well Liam seems busy, same with with Jennifer and Ethan. I need someone to talk to” she said.

“Well you are asking the wrong person little miss” she said.

“No you’re perfect for it” She said.

“How can I help?” Annabelle asked.

Ethan shifted her gaze away from Jennifer and look at Annabelle who was now talking to Selene.

“What color do you like the most?” Jennifer’s question draw him back.

“Hmm?” He look back at her.

“What color do you like the most” Jennifer repeated the question.

“Oh uhm.. I like dark colors.. most especially black or royal blue” he said.

“Oh.. I don’t have a black dress but I do have a blue dress but it’s not royal” she said.

“It’s fine if you wear anything. All colors have their unique beauty. Any color will suit you”

“Thanks” Jennifer blushed lightly. Ethan look back at Annabelle but she wasn’t there anymore.

After school, Annabelle and Selene stood before a clothing stores with different dresses made for a function.

“Oh, you definitely asked the wrong person for help” Annabelle muttered.

“I mostly wear guys cloths and I have no idea which dress I should pick. I’m going to the party with Liam, I bribed him by promising to do him a favour if he come with me to the party” Selene said staring at the dresses before her.

“Like I said.. you are asking the wrong person” Annabelle said.

“Gosh.. here look at this black dress..” Selene said pointing a black beautiful short fluffy gown with unique embodries on it. Annabelle stared at it with a blank look on her face. No doubt the dress was beautiful.

“Since you love black.. this would be perfect for you” She said.

“I’m not wearing that”

“You’ve gotten a dress?” Selene asked

“I’m not going”

“Everyone in the class is going, you should come too”

“That’s still a no, I’m leaving” she said and turn to leave.

At night, Ricky called for all the mobsters in the clan. He stood before them with cold look. Since Lord Smith took almost all the men with him, there were only few of them.

“As we all know Lord Smith is not with us for now, we need to protect this clan until he comes” He said taking slow steps.

“Vincient is dead.. but that triggered someone” Ricky stopped before Annabelle. “Voldemort”

Annabelle looked up at him anticipating what he was about to say.

“And he is just got here in the city, I heard he is searching for someone” he said those words staring coldly at her.

“I did what is right” Annabelle spoke lightly.

“You should have told the clan first before acting on your own Annabelle. Now they are here searching for a way to get you, since you killed his only brother” Ricky said lightly.

“Like I said. This is not my First time. I can take Voldemort down myself” She said with confidence.

“Hm, just to inform you. He found out the girls Vincent kidnapped are from your school and he is going there to make some researches, tomorrow at your school party” Ricky said.

“What?” Annabelle frowned.

“Don’t go to the party” he commanded.

“What if someone get hurt?” Annabelle asked.

“I and some men will take care of it so stay in your room after school” He said.

“And do nothing? I’m going”

“That’s not a request Annabelle!!” He yelled to her face but she didn’t flinch. “That’s an order” he added and left her there.

Annabelle brow curve down. “I don’t take orders from anyone apart from Lord Smith” she whispered to herself.

(NEXT DAY… BRILLIANT HIGH)

Ethan still haven’t spoke a word with Annabelle. Deep down it’s killing him but he wants her to know something. He is dying to ask if she would come to the party but knew the chances was slim.

“Hey freak” Patricia wave her hand to Annabelle but she didn’t give her a face.

“She’s rude, anyway today is my best day” She squealed beside Barbara.

“What happened?” Barbara asked.

“Well, I and Tony chatted last night and he agreed to be my date for that day.. I’m so happy” she said.

“What?” Barbara couldn’t believe what she just heard.

“What’s with you?”

“I can’t believe you actually asked him. I told you I wanted that guy and now you’ve ruin it!” Barbara almost raised her voice on her.

“What is your problem! Tony have a choice to make and he choose me..”

“You still shouldn’t have asked him since you know your best friend is into him”

“I’m sorry.. what? Best friend? Is that what you think? I’m your best friend?” Patricia asked.

Barbara face dropped. “Then who am I to you?” She asked lightly.

“You’re just someone around me,” Patricia said and silence dragged in between them.

“Right, I’m so stupid. I’m glad I finally know who you truely are” with this, Barbara stood and left to sit another place.

“I don’t care!” Patricia yelled.

Daniel who saw this sighed. “she is pushing everyone away. I hope she regret this” he clinched his fist.

“I guess she reject you” Annabelle said beside her.

“Yeah, she said I’m not good for her” he mumbled.

“Wanna come with me to the party?”

Daniel eyes widened. Did he hear something wrong? “Huh?”

“I’m not repeating myself”

“Yeah! Sure! Of course I will. Gosh thank you so much Anna” he smiled.

Ethan eyes remain on Annabelle but then shifted his gaze away.

After school, Annabelle got into the car as usual. She turn to the huge tattooed man on the driver seat.

“Scar, I need a favour” she said bringing out some money in her pocket then hand it over to him.

Scar gave her a look.

“I earn it.. so what?” She raised her brow while Scar only grunt lightly before starting the car.

Getting to the clothing store, Annabelle went towards where she saw the dress yesterday.

“Sold?” She frowned seeing the dress had disappeared. Someone bought the dress already!

“How can I help you miss” A lady came to her and asked.

“The black dress” Annabelle said.

“Oh. Someone brought the dress yesterday.. but don’t worry little miss. We got a new one which came this morning. I’m sure you are going to love it” The lady said and lead her further into the store.

Annabelle eyes slowly widened at the sight of it. Black is so beautiful on this dress.. it was sparkling, she could imagine how beautiful and dark this dress would be on her..

THIS IS JUST HER TYPE!

The woman who bought her in frowned a little when she saw no one coming in with Annabelle. “Uhm, where is your parent, to pay for the…”

“Here is the payment, keep change. Get that dress ready in a minute” Annabelle said in a command tone and left.

The lady look down at the money in her hand. “Where did she see so much money?” She muttered with her lips parted.

Different student walked into the hall with their unique dresses. Each of them have their partners with them, they all have a smile on the face giving the atmosphere a beautiful aura.

Ethan stared at the glass before him, he set his tie and then gave himself a smile before heading downstairs.

“Bye mom, I love you” he gave her a quick peck.

“Be careful!” Mrs Serena yelled as he storm out, he found Liam waiting for him with a suit on, looking handsome himself.

“Damn! I feel like you’ll steal the whole girls in the school” Liam commented.

“Look who’s talking, I’m sure Selene would faint seeing you handsome man” he said. They both chuckled and entered the car.

“OMG! You look fabulous Jennie!” Selene squealed seeing Jennifer. “Wait, is that the black dress I told you about?” Selene asked.

“Yeah, do I look good in it?” Jennifer asked. She was looking tall and elegant on the black dress. Her make up light and she look beautiful on it.

“Fantastic” Selene said. “But I thought you don’t like black”

“I do now” Jennifer said. She actually wore it because of Ethan.

“You look great too” Jennifer said taking in Selene dress. She was wearing a badass sexy white gown with a blue jacket on, a cap placed backward on her head and her make up light.

“Thanks”

“Hey what’s up ladies” Liam’s voice sounded behind.

Jennifer and Selene’s heart skipped a beat spotting them.

“I’m in love with you Liam” Selene blurt out and they all chuckled.

“Wow, black dress” Ethan grin handsomely then tuck his hand into his pocket. “It’s beautiful”

“Thanks” Jennifer smiled.

The hall was filled with elegant beautiful music as student began to chat among each other.

Patricia walked into the the hall, her hand tightly wrapped around a tall guy called Tony. A proud smile graced in her lips.

Barbara scoffed seeing the two of them. She bought a random guy as her partner tonight.

“Do you want a drink?” The guy asked politely.

“Yes please” Barbara replied then grab the drink and pour it into her mouth in one goal shocking the guy.

Ethan tapped his finger on the table repeatedly as his eyes scan the room. She is not here.

Somewhere around the place. Some black men in suit kept Their eyes in the crowd. Voldemort men.. They were looking for clues..

At the same Ricky was undercover with some of his men waiting to know Voldemort move. He made sure to check Annabelle’s room and he found her sleeping with quilt over her body.

Daniel waiting outside the gate while checking his wristwatch time to time. The gate will be closing soon. Just then a car stopped before them and a figure came out, his mouth dropped. “Oh shit”.

Slow tensed music played as she stepped into the hall. Her black short gown sparkles under the dim light, her make up dark fiting her dark personality. Her hair didn’t fall on her shoulder this time, it was styled in a unique way having some golden small flowers on them. Her look cold.

She was like a dark cold angel.

Some boys couldn’t keep their mouth close at the sight of her.

That’s the new girl?…

Damn hot..

Fuck! I’m tripping already…

Ethan’s heart skipped beats, his eyes didn’t left her not even for a moment. She was all he could see.

Selene, Liam and others were shock to see her.

Ricky on the other hand face turn really cold. She didn’t listen to his order?

Jennifer squeeze the glass of cup in her hand tight. Her black dress looks shaggy compare to Annabelle’s.

Annabelle’s gaze met with Ethan.

“Oh my God” Ethan muttered.

Let the bloody party begin!
