“Calm down Ethan, she’s still alive. I only put her to sleep” Peter replied but the boy’s face remain cold as hell. The devil in him was rising.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” Ethan spat.

“Well, you’ll know my reason as time goes on” Peter said.

“Wake her up” Ethan managed to utter through his gritted teeth.

“Ethan, calm your nerves” Peter said, as he noticed the boy’s aura changing.

“Wake her up Peter. I’m losing control of myself” Ethan spoke as his chest heave hard.

It’s happening again….

His father’s killer face was appearing on Peter’s face.

“Peter wake her up” Ethan shut his eyes, he was trying to control himself. Just then Peter voice sounded in his head. ‘Will you do anything to save Annabelle?’

Peter slowly stood. Yeah, he is aware Ethan has a dangerous side and now he is going to witness it himself.

Ethan stood with his head facing down, he suddenly charged towards Peter throwing punches at him.

“Ethan!” Peter yelled blocking one of his attack with his own arm. “Get hold of yourself!”

“Motherfucker” Ethan jumped and send a kick on Piper’s face sending him feet away.

Peter wiped the blood on his lips and look up at Ethan. “I guess I have no choice” he muttered.

Ethan had a cold look on his face as he charge towards Peter again. This time Peter also throw his attacks at him and the fight got hard.

“Wake her!!” Ethan threw a big fist at Peter, he blocked it but felt a sharp pain on the hand he used. ‘How the fuck is he this strong?’

Distance away from Ethan, Peter secretly bought out a sedative. Ethan is not going to stop anytime soon.

They lauched towards each other again. This time Peter got more serious with it and he was able to give Ethan few hit.. and then he got the opportunity to dive the injection into his neck.

Ethan gasped and slowly went to his knee. He return back to his usual self. Laying on the floor, he turned his head to Annabelle who was still laying on the floor.

Peter walked before him and sighed, then advance towards Annabelle to carry her in a bridal style.

“No” Ethan utter and try to stand but fell again. The sedative was affecting him already and everything was becoming hard for him to see. He watch peter carry Annabelle out of the place.

“Do..n’t take her a..way” he said so low, he didn’t even hear himself.

“Hello folks.. are we welcome?” Ricky grin as the men behind him raised their guns. These men are trained as hell, their body build and face scary. Lord Smith trained them himself..

Mrs Serena could only clinched her fist tight.

“We meet again. How is your son Ethan. I kinda miss him” Ricky tilted his head one side as he stared at her.

“Well he doesn’t need it. You won’t get what you want” Mrs Serena said coldly. Though her heart was pounding fast because of the guns pointed towards them. Can they face them? Where is Peter?

“Before you do anything stupid, just know they are deadly mafias swirling around this place. So you are the one to choose if you want to die or not” Mrs Serena said.

“Actually. There’s no need for all of that” Peter’s voice sounded. Mrs Serena breath out in relief but her face turn shocked when she spot him carrying unconscious Annabelle.

What the hell did he do to her? Beside where is her son?!

Ricky frowned a little, he shot a glare towards Peter.

“She asleep, not dead” Peter replied before Ricky could ask. Daisy was quiet the whole time.

“What do you think you are doing?” Mrs Serena asked Peter in a low voice.

“Giving her out, in order to save our lives” Peter shrugged and she frowned deeper. Is he serious right now?

“You promised to do anything to help us” Mrs Serena said.

“Stay out of my way” Peter said and made to walk pass her.

“I can’t let you give her out. This is not what you told us…”

“These people won’t stop coming. Fighting is not the best option. That’s if you still want your son and her to be alive..”

Mrs Serena was so confused about what Peter is doing but.. what can she do to stop it. She only wish everything will be fine. What bother her the most is how did they find them? Did Peter betrayed them? Is he working for Lord Smith? Is he on their side?

So many questions drives her insane.

“You’re still on the way” Peter’s voice woke her up from her trance.

Her eyes turn cold. “If by any chance you fuck with us. I’ll kill you myself” she threaten and moved out of the way unwillingly

Ricky stared at Peter for a while.

“Here is what you came for. Take her and leave” Peter said.

Ricky glanced down to unconscious Annabelle. He had actually thought he’ll shed blood and use the opportunity to end anyone who comes his way.. he never knew the people who is helping her is weak and afriad. How unlucky and boring.

Annabelle frowned hard as she slowly wake up. A big white bulb was above her and she was laying on a metal bench on her back. The light was so bright which prompt her to move but found out she couldn’t, even her head was stuck.

Trying again, she winced when the metal holding her pulled her down.

“Doll”

The voice she hated the most.. the memories of what happened flashed before her and she clinched he jaw. Peter who she thought she could trust betrayed her… Isn’t he Maria’s son? This is so confusing but she is going to figure out that later..

The main thing is how is she going to escape this devil, or maybe end him this time. She knew it won’t be easy but she doesn’t care.

“Argh” she try to force her way out but wince again.

“It’s pointless” Lord Smith who was sitting like a kind beside her spoke.

“You’re pointless. I really wanna kill you asshole” she utter through those gritted teeth.

“Not for long” He said and she frowned. What does he mean?

“Are you going to kill me? You better do cus if you don’t. I swear on my mother’s grave I’m going to cut you piece by piece!” she said with utmost solemnity.

“I’m not going kill you Doll. Why will I do that? You know I always cherish you”

“Cherish? Tssk!.. Let me out of here then I’ll tell you how much I cherish you” If he is not going to kill her then what?

She recalled Peter’s words about her being Lord Smith’s weakness and also the fact that he had a daughter named Annabelle. All of that is bullshit to her cus Peter is unpredictable.. why snitching on her?

“Hm” Lord Smith stood up and walked towards her with his hand casually tucked into his pocket. The girl tried to get away, her expression shows the hatred she had for him.. well it won’t last long.

“I hate to see you this way Doll. I want you to see me as your saviour, just like how you use to” He said caressing her cheek.

“Fuck off!!” She yelled but the man chuckled.

The door opened and some people looking like surgeons walked into the place. Annabelle heart was pounding hard against her chest.

“What are you going to do with me?” She asked the man who removed some strand of her hair on her face.

“What I did, thirteen years ago. Don’t worry I’ll be here once you wake up” he whispered and the walk away.

Wait, thirteen years ago? They are going wipe her memories.. Oh no! She screamed inwardly.

“No please no” She could feel the fear creeping in as they bought out their equipment. “Don’t do this”

One of the surgeon eyes remain on Annabelle, it was a female. She opened a box and bought out a container with some liquid.

“Are you sure this is the right content” the one who seems to be their leader asked and the lady nodded without a word. Her eyes return to Annabelle, an unknown emotion swirl in them.

They prepare the injection and dive it into Annabelle’s neck.

“No, Ethan” she muttered. Is she going to forget about him too? Those lovely memories they had together.

For the first time, a tear creep out her eyes and run down her cheek. Her eyes closed slowly.

“She’ll wake up in five hours, mission accomplished” the surgeon man said.

Ethan woke up and sprang up from his bed. “Belle” those was the first word that came out his lips. He look around and find out he is in his room.

He storm out and found his mother.

“Where is she?” He asked her.

“You need to calm down Ethan. They took her but she’s fine”

“What do you mean? Those are the same people who almost killed her! And where the fuck is Peter, I badly wanna kill him” He almost yelled.

“They won’t kill her Ethan. You need to calm down. She’ll be fine.. I hope” Mrs Serena couldn’t find a way to console him.

Ethan ran his finger through his hair. What if they hurt her or worse kill her?

The sound of his phone ringing made him go back to his room. It was Liam. He picked it up. “Hey”

“Dude! What the hell happened last night?” Liam asked over the phone. His voice sounded worried.

“It’s complicated.. I can’t talk right now” Ethan pinched the bridge of his nose.

“Why is Annabelle here in school, isn’t she supposed to be with you guys? Were you busted? Are you alright?” Liam flooded him with questions but only one hit him.

“Belle is in school?” He asked with his eyes widened. Mrs Serena who heard this behind him was shock too.

In the next moment, they were in the car. Ethan was wearing his school uniform already as he tried Liam’s number again. Mrs Serena started the car.

“Liam, tell me what happened” Ethan asked.

“I don’t really know but Annabelle showed up with a man dressed in suit. He look dangerous as fuck. I’m pretty sure he’s the Don” Liam says so low. “Everyone is watching and also… Annabelle seems weird”

“What do you mean weird?” Ethan asked.

“You should come see for yourself Ethan, I can’t talk too much” Liam hang up afterward.

They got to the school afterwards and Ethan rushed into the school leaving his mom in the car.

“Ethan is on his way right?” Selene asked Liam.

“Yeah.. where Jennifer by the way?” Liam asked.

Meanwhile, Jennifer was at the female restroom. Her look was blank, her eyes red because she hadn’t sleep a wink. She is worried about Ethan, that Ricky guy better keep his promise. They are going to find her sister and everything will be back to how it was before Annabelle came into the school as a new girl.

Two girls walked into the restroom.

“The creepy girl is back in school, what’s her name again?” One of them said and Jennifer looked up to them.

Creepy girl?

“Annabelle, I think” the other one replied.

Hearing the name Jennifer eyes widened and stormed out.

Ethan just got to the school and the first person his eyes search for was Annabelle. He saw her with a man standing beside her, only the back view and he was speaking with the principal. Ethan didn’t care, he wants to know if she’s okay. Some students were staring at the scene..

Liam and Selene spot him and sighed.

Walking towards them Ethan called out. “Belle!”

Annabelle who heard her name slowly to look back at him. It’s a weird boy who seems to have his worried look washed off his face when their eyes met.

Ethan brow furrowed when the girl turn her head back to the principal like he doesn’t exist. She seems to say something to the man beside her.

The seems to go slow, as the man turn his head to look at Ethan.

The blood on Ethan’s face drained instantly he saw the man face.

A face he’ll never forget. The face that hunt him and drive him crazy. The face that laughed at him calling him weak after killing his father.

This man is now here before him. His blood began to boil as he clinched his fist hard.

“What’s going on?” Liam muttered staring at Ethan’s face squeezing in anger as he stared at the man beside Annabelle.

Of course Lord Smith recognized Ethan. The boy is now all grown up. Not bad..

His lips curled up into an amuse smile.

At the same time Jennifer eyes widened when she saw the man’s face too, her eyes moved back and forth from Annabelle to the man. Her breath became hard. She shifted back slowly and her eyes slowly teared up.

No, it can’t be right? She shook her head and ran back to the restroom locking herself in. She rest her back on the door and slowly crouched down. Tears pouring down like a river.

“No.. no.. no..” she muttered bringing out a pendant hanging around her neck. She opened in and bought out a folded picture.

The picture contains her mom, dad, and her younger sister.

She cried harder staring at her younger sister’s picture in particular.

“Isa.. Isadora”
