Annabelle Finally smiled. “Then kiss me”

Ethan didn’t waste any moment to pull her close and slammed his lips hard on hers.

The kiss was short but filled with emotions. Annabelle broke the kiss and stared at him.

“You’re alright?” She couldn’t help but ask again.

“For the millionth time Belle, yes I’m fine” Ethan said and they both chuckled. Annabelle smile slowly disappeared as she played with her fingers while keeping her head low.

“What happened?” Ethan asked.

“I.. I don’t know how I’m feeling” Annabelle said.

“Nervous?” Ethan asked and Annabelle nodded slowly. “You know when I was young, I had a presentation to do before the whole class and I was nervous. And then I put on an earphone while listening to music secretly and it worked”

“Really?” Annabelle asked.

Ethan chuckled and she smiled. He reached for his pocket and pulled out two earphones for her, then played a slow music for her to hear.

“Like it?” Ethan asked and she nodded. He was right, she could feel her nerves calming just with the music.

Maria knocked before walking in, “Okay guys, we need to leave before he comes back”

Slow music could heard in the room as Lord Smith stepped in with his assistant and some of his strong men right beside him. One of the men sprang up from his seat as he saw him.

“My Lord” The man’s stuttered with fear swirling in his eyes. The girl on top him got away from him. “It’s a surprise to see you” he gave off an awkward smile.

“Where are my goods?” Lord Smith went straight to the point.

The man swallowed before speaking. “Well my Lord. The thing is when the goods was to be delivered, some men attacked and killed our people, the goods were stolen. That was why I called but you didn’t answer” the man said, having his palm sweating already.

Lord Smith let out a dark chuckled. One thing he hates the most is for someone to take what belong to him.

“Do you think I’m here for jokes?” Lord Smith asked.

The man face turn paled. “My Lord, that the…”

BANG!!!!

Lord Smith’s assistant shot a bullet in the man’s head. Immediately that action happened, something clicked in his mind as his eyes remain on the lifeless man laying on the couch with the lady beside him whimpering.

Annabelle loves shooting her prey on the head but she shot Ethan on the chest. His instinct was right..

His doll didn’t lose her memories.

Peter walked into a room and turn on the light revealing the goods Lord Smith was looking for. “This should should buy us time” he muttered.

Liam also appeared and his mouth hanged in the air. The room was filled with so many bags.

“What’s this?” Liam asked.

“What do you think?” Peter asked.

“I don’t know that’s why I asked” Liam said.

“What does a mafia transport the most in and out?” Peter asked.

“I was never a mafia. How the fuck do you expect me to know that?” Liam asked.

“It’s drugs alright.. drugs! Gosh you’re more annoying Ethan” Peter said and walk pass him.

“You could have just replied drugs. What’s so hard in it” Liam muttered as he follow Peter. “What are you going to do with it?”

Peter stopped with a sigh and turn his head to Liam. “How about you just watch and don’t say anything” he said and walk away.

“Annoying” Liam muttered and followed him.

They got to a room where they were all seated. Mrs Serena stood up.

“Where’s my son?” She asked.

“He’ll be here soon with Annabelle and others” Peter replied.

Carson has his head on Jennifer’s lap as he sleep. Her mind running on how she can help. At least she should pay for snitching on them. Her eyes met with Peter but she avert it immediately.

“Once they are here, we’ll leave and you guys are going to find every possible way to survive. Once we get him, everything will be over. I’ll have some of my men protect you” Peter said.

Ricky had his body dripping with blood, his face cold as ice. That little bitch Annabelle had designed his body with her dagger, he swore to return the favour by twenty folds.. but first, he needs to get out of here and warn his brother.

Daisy who was keeping her eyes on him had her leg crossed.

Ricky chest heave up and down in an heavy way, his breath was loud enough for Daisy to hear.

“I can’t breath” Ricky muttered as he closed his eyes.

“Don’t even try acting, that’s never going to work” Daisy said.

“I.. I think I’ve lost.. a lot blood. I’m losing.. my sight” Ricky said. Pain dripping in his voice.

“Oh please, I can act more than” Diasy said rolling her eyes.

Ricky gasp, keeping his head low. After a while, there was no movement from him. Daisy twisted her lips one side and sighed.

“Rocky or Ricky, whatever you are. Raise your head up” she said but the guy remain still. Seeing the guy wasn’t moving after a while, she stood up and decided to check on him. She wouldn’t have worry about him if it wasn’t for Peter who said Ricky should be kept alive.

But Before Daisy could touch him, Ricky bit on her hand.

“Fucker!” She exclaimed, the bracelet in her hand cut and fell on the floor. Ricky chuckled but got a hard punch from her in return.

“Pshyco!” She spat and turn to leave.

Even with the pain on his cheek Ricky chuckled again. He slowly outstretch his leg for the bracelet. That, he is going to use it to escape.

Lord Smith eyes were closed when his phone began to ring. Getting it, he answered “Are you done escaping?”

“You knew they kept me captive and you did nothing?!” Ricky yelled.

“Are you going to keep yelling or what?” Lord Smith asked.

“I told you.. you should have end Annabelle when you have the chance to. Now guess what. She is turning your men against you” Ricky said.

“Then that would be fun” Lord Smith said. One of his hand was tucked into his pocket.

“What?!”

“It’s been long I’ve spilled blood. I can create another army, whenever I want. Go out there Ricky, you know what to do” Lord Smith said.

“You’re crazy” Ricky said. “Kill her if you get the chance”

Lord Smith didn’t reply before ending the call. He got out from his office.

Daisy got back to the room where Ricky was Kept and gasp when she couldn’t find him.

All of a sudden, her neck was grabbed from behind choking her in the process..

“Hello bitch” Ricky said from behind. He bought down the knife in his hand and dived it into her stomach.

“Arghh!!!”

Peter walked before the armed men with a hard look on their face. Most of them are Peter’s men and some are Lord Smith’s men who had help in the operation.

“We now know every crook and corner at the clan. Any mistake means you’re dead. We are facing devil and I have a strong believe that we’ll win” Peter spoke and then stopped before Annabelle.

She has her bubble gum, guns and dagger ready.

“Ready?” He asked lightly.

“I’m born ready” Annabelle smirked.

Ethan appeared behind them, “I’m coming too”

“No, you’re not” Peter said.

“I can help, too” Ethan said. Peter gave Annabelle a look and she walk towards him.

“You don’t need come..”

“I’m strong, I can help you. Remember what happened when you fought with him alone. I can’t let that happen again” Ethan cut in.

“It won’t, I promise. Look, you need to protect us from the outside. I meant Liam, Selene and.. sigh.. Jennifer” Annabelle said.

Under the moon light episode 61

“That’s the first time you’ll ever say their names” Ethen stated.

“Yeah, they are family now and I need you and Maria to protect them” Annabelle said. Ethan knew she was right, Lord Smith might decide to attack them from the outside. But the fact that they are separating scares him.

“Belle” he called softly but the girl pulled him close for a hug.

“I love you Ethan. So much” She muttered, closing her eyes.

Ethan hugged her back. “I love you. Promise you’ll come back to me”

“I promise” she said and broke the hug. Annabelle tip toes and kisses him lightly on the lips. Ethan could see her eyes tear up as she leaves with the other men.

Ethan wiped the tears in his eyes. “She’ll be fine” he nodded.

He went to meet others. “Okay guys, we have to do everything to survive” his eyes squinted when he noticed someone was missing.

“Where’s Jennifer?” He asked.

Getting to the clan, Peter and his men splited. While Annabelle went to get into her position. She’ll be like a shadow.

Meanwhile, the Booth of one of Peter’s car open and Jennifer stepped down from it. Her eyes settled in the large territory before her.

‘I have to help, this is for Isadora’ she thought to herself but stepping further.

On their way, Peter and his men shot any obstruction on their way.

Getting inside with some men, Peter found the main hall empty. This would actually be the first time, stepping into this place.

The place was empty, quiet and strange. He is sure Lord Smith is still here since he didn’t get any information about him leaving.

“So” Lord Smith’s deep voice sounded and his dark talk figure slowly appear. “Do we have to introduce each other before the war”

“Hump.. I guess you’ve already know we are coming. Surrender, you don’t have any upper hand in this war” Peter said and the man chuckled.

“Says who?” He asked.

Immediately his word, many men surrounded them, pointing their guns towards Peter.

“You know this is so predictable right?” Peter said.

Lord Smith grinned. “You can’t beat me. Trust me, many have done more that this and they keep failing”

“Well tell me. What if you daughter happens to be alive and find you this way? You’ve destroyed so many families in order to cure yourself. I can’t allow that to happen again” Peter said.

“If you’re trying to get into my head, then that’s not working. I’m sure your mother will receive my gift soon” Lord Smith smirked while Peter frowned.

Ethan suddenly heard some strange coming from the a room.

“You heard that?” He asked and they all raise their head.

“I’ll check on it” the men with them walk towards the place where the sound was coming from. Walking further, he stepped on something and looked down only to be shocked to see his fellow partner dead on the floor.

Before he could react someone appeared behind him and slashed his neck using a dagger.

Ricky let out a breath and grin. The killing was so satisfying.

Ethan sensed something was not right. “Guys, you need to hide” He said.

“What’s wrong?” Selene asked.

“Someone is here” He whispered.

They all stood up and watch Ricky comes out from the shadow pointing a gun towards.

“I thought, they had him tied up. How is he here?” Maria muttered.

“Well one word, I outsmarted Daisy and then probably kill her, just like what I’m going to do with y’all” After his word, he immediately shot Maria on the stomach. She screamed in pain and others eyes widened.

“Oh Gawd” Selene muttered and Liam held her close to himself.

Mrs Serena quickly help Maria with the wound.

Carson began to freak out.

“Who’s next?” Ricky asked.

“Stop!” Ethan yelled.

“Ah, right. You have no idea how badly I want to kill you Ethan. You’re so fucked” Ricky said pointing his gun to Ethan.

“You’re a coward” Ethan spoke shocking everyone.

“Son..” Mrs Serena called softly and Ethan look at her.

“I gat this” Ethan whispered and return his gaze back to Ricky, who let out a laughter.

“Even in this situation, you still choose to run that stupid mouth of yours” He said as his eyes turn dangerously cold.

“You’d be a coward if you don’t fight with me like a man” Ethan said holding his head high.

Liam went to him. “Dude, you’re crazy?” He whispered.

“He’ll kill all of us if I don’t do this, take everyone away from us” He said.

“Son” Mrs Serena called.

“You should treat Maria..” Ethan removed his jacket, his eyes burning with determination. “And I’ll deal with him”

Ricky grin. Well this motherfucker is right. It will be quite boring to kill him with a gun. Killing Ethan with his hand will be more pleasing. He then removed his own jacket.

“Let’s do this” Ricky said as they both stared at each other.

Back in the dragon’s, Peter has his fist clinched as he stared at the man before him.

“Well, I’m sure they can handle it” Peter said, somehow, he trust Ethan and his strength.

“Tssk, you must be good with giving yourself false hope.. like I said Peter, you can’t beat me, I’m stronger than you think” Lord Smith said and his men set their guns ready to shoot.

“Well, I have someone who can” Peter stated.

The light went off and several gunshots could be heard. Each bullets hits the men one after the other as the fall dead on the floor.

The Gunshots stops. Annabelle jumped and land at the middle. She slowly raised her head to Lord Smith, blood stains could be seen on her face.

Peter step backwards in the darkness.

“Hello father” She greeted, exhaling through her lips.

Lord Smith took a deep breath and step forward. He could also see her.

“Do you really want to do this doll?” He asked in a deep voice.

“I’ve always wanted to do this. You’re monster and you don’t deserve to be free” Annabelle said.

“Is that so? Don’t you think you’re selfish. I trained you to be stronger than any of my men. I treated you like my daughter…”

“Oh please stop saying that.. you are just using me to get over your daughter and the fact that you killed you beloved wife out of anger. You’re currently regretting it but didn’t want to admit that you were at fault. I’m not a stepping stone, Smith. If I were your daughter, I would be disappointed to have a father like you. You’re not the only one that have a cruel past and you’re not the only one who is trying to heal. Life, depends on how you see it” Annabelle said.

Lord Smith face loosen a bit. Annabelle’s last statement hit him a little, but then his face turn cold again.

Annabelle pulled out her bubble gum and threw it into her mouth.

“How about a dance Godfather?” Annabelle said positioning her two daggers before her.
