“I guess you’re that beautiful girl mother” the lady said and Alexa nod her head in reply.

“oh she’s asleep” the lady said. “where’s Khalid?” Alexa asked. “Am here, how are you Alexa?” Khalid asked.

“Khalid am fine, where’s my daughter?” Alexa asked. “your daughter is fine she’s sleeping” Khalid replied.

“can I come in to Carry her?” Alexa asked. “no, she’s not sleeping in your apartment Tonight, she’s sleeping here, go and bring her school uniform, I will dress her up for school tomorrow” Khalid said.

“alright thanks” Alexa said and turn to leave. “wait” the lady said and Alexa stop. “how may I help you?” Alexa asked.

“Am caro” the lady said bringing her hand forth for an handshake, Alexa reluctantly, accept her hand.

“am Alexa” Alexa replied. “can I have your contact, I will like to be your friend” caro said.

“is that how you go around to makes friend with any female you come across ?” Khalid asked.

“no, I don’t know why I just like her, I don’t have a female friend and I will like to makes her one” caro said.

“no problem give me your phone. Alexa said, caro gave her, her phone and she put her number” I will call you later, she said with a smile. “Alright” Alexa replied and went to her apartment.

The next day..

Kim waked up and yawned widely. “where I am?” she asked looking around. “you’re in my apartment, don’t you like it?” Khalid asked.

“uncle Khalid, when did you come back, and where’s my ball?” Kim asked. “I came back yesterday night, and saw you sleeping like an angel at my door” Khalid replied.

“where’s my mum?” Kim asked. “she’s in her apartment” Khalid replied.

“Kim stand up let me get you ready for school” Khalid said.

“don’t tell me you wanna bath for me?” Kim asked. “yes of course I wants to bath for you” Khalid replied.

“you’re a boy and am a girl, my mum said is not good for a boy to bath for a girl” Kim replied and Khalid burst into laughter.

“Kim am old enough to be your father, so there’s no big deal if I bath for you” Khalid replied her.

“no you’re not my father and is only uncle jack that can bath for me” Kim said.

“Kim I can also bath for you, remember I am your favorite uncle” Khalid said.

“you’re not my favorite uncle again” Kim said. “but why, did I do anything wrong” Khalid asked.

“yes, firstly you lied to me Yesterday, that, that lady is your girlfriend. number two you didn’t buy me chocolate yesterday” Kim said.

“Am sorry, I bought the chocolate but I forget y give you” Khalid replied. “hi beautiful” Caro greet Kim.

“uncle Khalid, who’s she?” Kim asked. “she’s my friend” Khalid replied.

“Khalid why don’t you tell her I am your” he doesn’t allow her to finish her statement before he signal her to shut up.

“don’t tell her you’re my girlfriend, she doesn’t like seeing me with woman, if you tell her you’re my girlfriend, she will cry” Khalid whisper to her.

“really this small girl?” caro asked. “yes she’s my little girlfriend” Khalid replied.

“uncle are you sure she’s your friend?” Kim asked “hi am Khalid Friend” caro said and flash Kim a smile.

“you are beautiful unlike that lady that uncle Khalid brought home yesterday” Kim said.

“thank you” caro replied. “caro please help me bath Kim, she’s proving stubborn, she doesn’t want me to bath her” Khalid said.

“I will allow you to bath me because you’re beautiful and I like beautiful ladies like you” Kim said and caro smile.

caro took Kim to the bathroom and bath for her. she took her to the room and worn her school uniform for her.

“where’s uncle Khalid?” Kim asked. “he is in the kitchen, preparing your breakfast” caro replied.

“oh aunty today is my mum birthday” kim said and rush to the kitchen to meet Khalid.

“uncle uncle” Kim called and Khalid look back in fright. “Kim what happen you scared me” Khalid said.

“Am sorry uncle, today is my mum birthday” Kim said. “yes I remember, I have bake cake for her” Khalid said.

“thank you uncle Khalid, let’s go and give her the cake, before she go to work” Kim said.

“Alright you need to have your breakfast before you go” Khalid said, and clean his hand with the apron. he serve the food on the dinning table.

later that morning

Kim caro and Khalid walk into Alexa apartment. Kim hug her mother happily.

“how’s my baby doing this morning?” Alexa asked.

“am fine mum, happy birthday” Kim said. “thank you my Darling” Alexa said happily.

“happy birthday Alexa” Khalid said and gave her the cake. “Aww this is huge, thank you very much” Alexa said and hug him.

“Happy birthday Alexa” caro said. “Thanks…..” Alexa said trying to remember her name.

“Caro” caro said. “Am sorry for forgotten your name” Alexa said. “no problem” caro replied.

“caro is time you go back to your house” Khalid said.

“yes I know, Alexa I will call you later” caro said and went in,side her car.

“thanks Khalid I really appreciate, am getting late for work, we will celebrate it later when I come back from work” Alexa said. “Alright I will see you later” Khalid said. “bye uncle Khalid” Kim said.

Alexa Walk into her office and was surprised to see, many cakes, birthday card and wines.

“who drop all this things here, and what are we celebrating” Alexa asked no one in particular.

the door burst open and her co workers Walk into her office.

“happy birthday Alexa” they all wish her. “wow am speechless, who did all this things for me?” Alexa asked.

“The C.E.O” her boss replied. “you mean you did all this for me?” Alexa asked.

“Alexa there’s something you all didn’t know about me, I am not the owner of this company” her boss said.

Alexa and her co workers was surprised.

“I knew you guys are surprised this company belong to my friend” their Boss said. “who’s your boss?” Alexa asked.

“I knew you guys are surprised this company belong to my friend” their Boss said.

“who’s your boss?” Alexa asked. “forget about my boss for now, because he’s not in town, and he asked me not to tell anyone who he is” am very sorry I can’t tell you, but he’s coming back next month” their Boss said.

“but did your boss, know me?” Alexa asked. “Alexa truth be told I don’t know, I was also surprised when he told me to arrange a surprise party for you, he said you’re a very handworking lady and he respect and appreciate handworking people, he is only using this one to appreciate you” their Boss replied.

“Alright, you said he’s coming back next month right?” Alexa asked. “yes he told me he’s coming back, I also have my company to run, I am helping him, because I promise to always stand by him” their Boss said.

“stand by him, as how is he sick?” Alexa asked. “he isn’t sick, but he is not here can’t , for a reason well know to him” he replied.

“anyway enough of the boss talk. thanks for your time, I really appreciate, and my regards to the boss, tell him I say thank you” Alexa said.

“Alright I will deliver your message” their Boss replied. “thank you sir” Alexa said.

“you’re welcome, you kinda deserve it” he said. “And to my co workers, thanks for celebrating me, I really appreciate, and I love you all” Alexa said.

“you’re welcome, Alexa let cut the cake we can’t wait to eat the cake” they chorused.

“are you guys here, for the cake or to celebrate with me?” Alexa asked. “we are here for the cake, and to celebrate you” they replied and Alexa smile.

Khalid went to Kim school to pick her up and, he met jack waiting for Kim in the principal office.

“Mr Khalid, what are you doing here?” jack asked. “I came to pick Kim” Khalid replied.

“oh I also came to pick her” jack replied. “that’s not bad I am happy you’re here, I wants to make a very big surprise birthday, for Alexa in her apartment with Kim, you know she deserves to be happy” Khalid said.

“you’re right am in. her apartment key is with me” jack replied. “I also have a spare key to her apartment” Khalid said showing him the car key in his hand.

“where did you get it from?” jack asked. “how I get it shouldn’t be a problem, cause I know how to get what I want” Khalid said.

“I see” jack muttered. “uncle Khalid” Kim said and hug Khalid happily.

“how is school?” Khalid asked smiling at her. “uncle school is fine, our teacher taught us many things today” Kim said.

“will you teach me when we get to the house?” Khalid asked. “yes uncle” Kim replied.

jack clear his throat to get Kim attention. “uncle jack” Kim called, and jump down from Khalid hand, she went and hug him.

“didn’t you see me before?” jack asked. “I didn’t see you, am sorry Kim replied.

“apology accepted” jack replied. “did you come with your car?” Khalid asked.

“yes why are you asking?” jack said. “you know I don’t have car, we will go with yours, because of Kim” Khalid said. “Alright let go” jack said and they both hold Kim hand.

“Sir you called for me” Alexa said. “yes Alexa J and B group of company. said we should send our company representative to them.

they need you to convince them, before giving us the contract” her boss said. “when is the date sir?” Alexa asked.

“next week Monday, and I trust you to do a good work, make sure you convince them” he said.

“Alright sir, I will do my best” Alexa said. “Alright, please make us proud please” he said.

“Alright sir, we will get the contract I promise” Alexa said. “good you can go” he said and she went to.

The workers where seen gossiping about, Alexa surprised birthday. *Are you sure Alexa is not dating the boss*

Alexa was coming from their boss office, when she heard them gossiping about her.

“you guys should keep talking about me” Alexa said. “we are sorry” they said going back to their works. “sorry for yourselves” Alexa said and went in,side her office.

Jack sit down like a king while, Khalid and Kim were busy decorating Alexa sitting room.

“jack won’t you help us out?” Khalid asked. “you’re the one that, want to surprise and impress Alexa not me” jack said.

“but you promised to help me” Khalid said. “yeah I promise to help you before, but I don’t want to help you again” any problem with that” jack said.

“there’s no problem” Khalid replied. “Kim” Khalid called.

“yes uncle” Kim replied. ” help me with that scissors” Khalid said pointing to the scissors on the sofa.

few minutes later, they’re done with the decorating. Khalid phone rang out loud and, he pick at the first ring.

“Leo” Khalid said. “Good morning my……” “your what, go straight to the point, what did you have to say?” Khalid said.

“relax, I wanted to say my friend or aren’t you my friend aren’t again?” Leo asked.

“Leo go straight to the point, am busy” Khalid said. “your father is seriously sick” Leo said.

“what !!!! since when?” Khalid asked. “since a week now” Leo replied.

“why didn’t you call to tell me?” Khalid asked. “he ask me not to tell you” Leo replied.

“I am coming right away” Khalid said. “but it late already am sure you can’t get here this night” Leo said.

“bye” Khalid said and rush out. he rushed in again. “jack please help me give this to Alexa, tell her it her birthday gift” Khalid said and run out.

“Happy birthday mum” Kim said, and open the door for her mother. Alexa stand at the middle of her sitting room speechless.

“jack don’t tell me you went through this stress to makes me happy” Alexa said.

“yeah you deserve it” jack said and gave her the gift, Khalid gave him to give her. “All this for me?” Alexa asked.
