🍒Torn apart🍒 Chapter 12 By Authoress promise. ~Eugenia's POV~ Ivy open her eyes and Andrea rushed to her. " Thank goodness, you have finally woken up " He trilled. The way he act, looks like he care about Ivy more and I've being notice things like this. 'No, shake it off. He doesn't love her. He only care about her " I tried convincing myself. ~Ivy's POV~ I open up my eyes and I turn to see, Andrea with Eugenia. My eyes caught those cute eyes of his. He came closer to me. "Thank goodness, you have finally woken up" he said. I tried to seat up. But I was to weak to. Andrea help me up. I smiled at him. He must have being the one that save the both of us. " Thank you for saving our life " I said. "Andrea thank you so much. I should've realize that you're the one that saved us" Eugenia said. "It's okay, it was indeed the reckless dude that cause the accident" he stated angrily, pointing his finger out a guy who was standing there all this while. I just noticed. I look at him, why does his face looks so familar, I wondered. I try picturing who is. "He should be grateful that nothing happen to you guys or else I would've put him behind bars " Andrea shrug, furiously. " Am sorry, I never wanted this to happen. I'm still feeling gulty of the si.. " Royce " Eugenia called. " How... did you know me " he asked with a confused expression. I had a glance at him and I seem to recognized him. " Royce is really you " I said, smiling. " Wait I don't know you guys " he replied surprisedly. " We were all friends in fifth grade. It's me Ivy and that is Eugenia" I said, pointing out Eugenia, trying to make him remember us. But it seems he's battling to remember me. " You remember 'kiddies school ' " Eugenia asked. " Now I got it. You're both Eugenia and Ivy. What a coincident. It my pleasure meeting you guys" he said excitedly. " Yeah " I replied " Am I did only one left out " Andrea said, looking at each one of us. " He was our friend in fifth grade. After sixth grade he moved away to Ireland " I said, to Andrea. " Am sorry I cause your accident. It wasn't my intention. I just had a lot in my mind. After breaking up with my girlfriend" Royce said in a low tone looking woeful sad " don't worry we're not angry at you. And we're sorry for what happen to you and your girlfriend " Eugenia said, feeling sorry for him. I also felt sorry for him. "Am really sorry mehn, for what happened to you, and am also sorry for the way I acted" he apologized. "No don't be. Two life was in danger coz of me. What if something bad happened to them, I'll never be able to forgive myself" he replied, still feeling guilty. "It okay. Let say is fate who brought us together"I said. He smile. I know it's a forge smile. I said no more. Royce left the hospital, he never wanted to live but we urge him to go home. Andrea remain behind. My parents came include Eugenia's mum and her brother. My brothers couldn't come coz they were not around. The families were so worried. #The, next_day We got discharged from the hospital the next day. Andrea stay in the hospital the wh0le night. I went with mum and dad. Eugenia went with her mum and brother. Mum and dad urgee to take a rest. They never let me stand up from my bed. I got up after some hours to get water from the kitchen. But mum frown, saying that there were servant in the house to call. "i like do somethings by myself. I don't like involving any servant" I replied to her. "But in this your situation. You can't. So go to bed now. Don't worry about the water. I'll ask Susan to bring it to you. "mum ordered. She was treating me like a kid. But I didn't complain anymore. She is just concern as a mother she's. I went to bed. Honestly I was tried of lying in that bed. I wanted to get myself busy coz anytime I lay down. I was think about Andrea. I don't know why, but I don't want to even give any thought to it. I'm gonna help Eugenia to win him over. I try my best to see them together. I pick my phone to call Eugenia. I felt pressed. I drop the phone back on the table and stood up to go to the washroom. The door of my room flew open and mum came in. "I thought I ask you to have a rest "mum half yell. Like really, am not a kid. "Mum relax, I just wanna use the washroom"I said, rolling my eyes. " okay" she replied. I notice the water in her hand. "I thought you said Susan is gonna bring it "I reminded her. "Susan is not there when I need her. She isn't home. Only God no where she went. She's incompetent. I'm thinking of firing her " mum complained. "The rest servant her doing something else"she added. She drop the glass on the table and went out. I went to the washroom. I cane out, lay on my bed and pick up my phone to call Eugenia. She answered the call immediately. "Hi" she said "Hi" I replied. "Am bored "I announce and she chuckled. "Your parent won't let you out of bed"she said, reading my mind. "Yeah, they don't want me out of bed. I'm tried of relaxing in the bed. But they won't let me standing up"I explained and she chuckled. "Enjoying this "I said, pretending to be angry. "Not only you are in the kind of situation. Mum is here beside me. She won't even live my sight. She just took a short nap"Eugenia said. "Oh great"I sighed. #Three_days_later. my car broke down in the middle of the road. I got another car. I just dropped Eugenia at her home. I had a long day from work. A car came and stoped. I saw Andrea in it and m, heart pounded on my chest. He alighted. He looks so gorgeous in his suit. I must admit he's flawless. He came closer to me and offer to help me fix the car. But the rain started dropping. " Let get in my car coz of the rain. I'll call someone to fix the car later. But right now we need to get away from the rain. "he suggested, when the rain start get more heavy. I agreed. I'd went with him and got to his car. We drovee rain pour. I stare at him feeling nervous. This is my best chance to ask him. Who is he in love with. I wanted to find out who he truly love before I tell him how Euegina feels about him. I was about speaking, when he spoked. "Can we go to nice restaurant. I wanna talk with you"he said. I nodded affirmatively. We drove to a near by restaurant. The rain as stop a bit. It was almost dark now. We quiclkly walk into the restaurant. we'd sat at a table and order for food. The waiter went and brought our meal we requested for. I requested for a chicken nugget and Andrea as well. "Can I ask you a question " I demanded. "Yah "he replied, staring at me. I became nervous as I spoke. I don't even know why am nervous. "Are you in love with someone so far "I mange to say. He stare at me with a strange smile. He didn't bother to remove his eyes and he was silent. I became shy with the way he look at me. I try removing my eyes, but he was maintaining his glance. "Yeah. I do " he replied, breaking the mysterious silence. When I heard that, my heart heated faster than before. "Wh... who" I stammer a little. "Isn't it obvious"he said with a low tone. 'Obvious 'what does he mean. "And who exactly "I inquired curiously and anxiously. "The woman I had being with lately"he replied with a low tone. I almost fell of the chair when he said that. I knew who he was talking about. It was me,if am not mistaking. I swallow what was suppose to be a lump stuck in my throat. Still I hope, he wasn't referring to me. "You" he broke the bombshell and I stood up feeling nervous, unable to say anything.
