Chapter Seventy: BENNETT DEATH

Verdun move slowly the moment he enter Bennett dimension, things might be in her favour, this is her territory ” you came to see me??” Her voice echo in the whole place, making it hard for me to locate her, smoke is slowly appearing from below, covering my visions and the trees from my sight ” I thought you hate me, why seek for me ”

” oh I don’t hate you Bennett ” I smile ” I just want a taste of your flesh, surely that is not too much to ask for ”

” do you think its easy to kill a pure blood, half breed ”

” of course not, though am feeling bad since you are the last pure blooded witch” mumbling I look around, trying my best to locate her before she try something dangerous ” your clan will moan their lost ”

” don’t ” her voice came out in angry tones ” you won’t be able to kill me, soon I will have Jones dead and your power directed to me, everything will be perfect, you will run to me for help ”

” how pathetic if you ask me Bennett ” a faint noise caught my attention, coming from my back, swiftly turning around I watch the sword that was meant to stab me disappear to another direction ” is this your way of killing now, hiding and fighting from the back, have you step so low ” the moment I said that the smoke vanish, she is standing few inches from me, wearing nothing, she is practically naked ” do you plan to seduce me to death Bennett ” smiling, she only frown.

” you plan on eating me, I want you to do that without any obstacles in the way ”

My eyes turn to four, two up and two down, my voice deep when I mumble ” that is true Bennett, seeing you so fresh and smooth, makes my wolf hungry….you will taste so good that’s for sure ”

” that’s if you can eat me Verdun ” before she complete her sentence am standing next to her, she blink and try retreating back but I grab her by the neck, lifting her up, my body increase in size when I lick her nipple, biting it completely off.

She scream cast a spell and cutting the hand I use to hold her, stepping back my hand regenerate within seconds, faster than any lycan ” who gave you such powers ” Bennett hiss out in pain, three minutes another nipple has appear ” you heal faster and can walk faster too ” she fasten her steps to my direction, normally a wolf can’t detect how fast she is but right now, it looks like she is running but not towards my direction, running around me.

She is reciting a spell and I know its a bad….before I could complete my thought, two huge iron from my left and right move in great speed towards my direction, both of them hitting me at the same time.

I didn’t want to burst her bubbles so I make her believe she won before breaking them into pieces, her eyes are full with confusion, fear, fear to die made her to start reciting different spells, huge snakes, wind which did blow me, resulting in me hitting my head on a hard tree.

Knowing fully well my time is running out, I double my speed, she has no idea when I step behind her, elongating my fingers and quickly penetrate it into her from behind, grabbing her heart and pulling it out of her body.

They is only two ways of killing a witch, either by burning or by smashing her heart into pieces, as long as the heart beats, she is still alive ” what are you doing ” Bennett growl turning around and looking at me, her heart still beating in my hands ” don’t do what you are thinking ”

” I thought it will be hard to kill you Bennett never knowing you are this weak ” after mumbling I look at my body, I could feel myself growing weak, Jones, he is dying.

How funny is it.

I have to depend on that bastard life in order to win this little fight, opening my mouth I place her heart in it then bite, I watch her scream in pain, falling down, biting again she begged for mercy but I fully know that its either I kill her now or lose everything.

No more thinking is needed as I chew her heart, bending down I move towards her direction ” am hungry ” I can see the life leaving her slowly, bringing my tongue out I lick her body, my fingers tear her stomach into two ” the goodies ” pulling her lungs out I eat gently.

“This is a feast” chuckling I dig in and enjoy her body before decomposers finish the work.

” am I late?” Madeline rush back into the physician room with herbs, herbs I have never seen before, new type of herbs ” he is still alive right ” nodding her head Betty look at Jones, I do feel pity for him, everybody wants power and just like Verdun, people do stupid things for power so I can’t blame him, all is understood.

” he is dying slowly, he needs something to boost him up, anything at all ” mumbling I watch how Madeline mix the herbs gently before placing them in his lips, Jones exhale, it look like he is strengthen a little bit ” Jones” pulling out a chair I hold his hand, sit and smile ” you will not die, I will make sure of it” he flash me a smile then mumble thank you, though the words couldn’t come out because of how weak he is.

” Verdun is back” hearing Madeline I look to the exit, he is standing, blood all over his body, he really did kill Bennett, his eyes are still four, he is not in his right sense anytime he transform this way.

” Jones is still alive ” his voice deeper than usually, even I fear him when he act this way ” I want all of you to leave my mansion this…..” Before lady Morgana could finish Verdun already pull her head off her body and throw away, his eyes move to the my hands and Jones which is connected.

I swallow before letting go of Jones hands, Verdun eyes have darken ” come ” standing up I move towards his direction, hiding my little fear, I know he doesn’t like it when am scared of him ” what were you doing with Jones Betty??”

” what do you think ” I furrow my brows ” am not like you that sleep around with anyone” he step closer, bringing his face one inch from mine, those four eyes that can be anyone nightmare stare into my soul.

” move aside, let me finish Jones”

” no ” I yell ” you go back to your normal form, arrange the carriage that will take us home and then shut it ” Verdun step back the moment I yell, I watch him reduce in size ” so feisty” he chuckle ” even my wolf is scared of you ”

” he better be ” smiling I look at Jones ” Madeline will take care of you, I have to attend to my man ”

” that’s better” Verdun mumble holding my hand and pulling me to his carriage, his body is fill with blood. He needs a bath before the journey right?? ” won’t you shower, I mean you killed lady Morgana, you can spend even a year here and no body will argue with you ”

Stopping at the carriage he turn and look at me ” no amor” he frown for a bit then smile ” I want to see you naked on my bed, I made a promise to marry you before touching you so right now, we are going to our marriage which will be held in malgar, in front of my clan, making it known you are the Luna ”

” really ”

” yes darling ” he smile ” but first I need to brush and shower which is why we will go home, shower then maybe I will touch you just a little before the marriage…promise to touch me too amor” he lean close while a blush creep into my face.

I nod ” I promise to touch you ”

” where will you touch me ” he whisper to my ear, pining me to the carriage ” tell me where you will touch ”

” where you will feel good” moving my hand to the bulge between his legs I notice him shiver under my touch ” right here ”

After showering she walk out of the room, looking around the whole mansion, upstairs where no one is meant to be, room of nightmare he calls it ” you’re back ” hearing Veronica voice I smile then turn around to meet her stare, I still do not get why Verdun lock her up in here, what did she do?

” Veronica ” smiling she frown which is unusual, she was always smiling happily and eager to talk to someone ” I see you are still alive and sound…you even forgive him ”

Frowning I turn around back to my room, I was planing to visit Dora and Mona but that will be tomorrow, since its already late and am not in the mood anymore ” what happened to Veronica, I did nothing to her ” stepping into the room I shut the door, the sun already going to rest, Verdun still showering.

Moving to the balcony I stand still, looking around, I could see trees, flowers, servants washing clothes, little girls in the mansion playing, how big Is this place anyway ??

I will be getting married tomorrow, it should be the happiest day of my life but I just realize am a bad person, I forgot about Elinor, didn’t try to check on her, I have no idea where Edward took her to and I haven’t seen Edward since I return either.

” amor ” Verdun grunt ” what is in your mind ” he hug me from behind, his body still wet from the shower, he haven’t clean himself up but at least a towel is tied around his waist.

” am a bad person Verdun, I haven’t asked about Elinor whereabouts if lord Norman is still trying to find her, I completely forgot about her ”

I watch him put on his boxers then sit on the bed ” come ” moving towards his direction I bite my lower lips, thinking of what to say to change the subject ” your eyes are blue again”

” is it? ” I nod at his question while he make me sit on his lap, am putting on a blue short dress, no bra but at least am putting on panties ” that’s good then ” he run his hands through my hair, his gaze not leaving mine then what he said earlier hit me, after showering he will like to touch me and then I should touch him too.

” I don’t want to lose you Verdun, you know I love you, I can’t live withe you ” leaning close I kiss his lips slowly before cutting it ” I said this before and will say it again, if you die I….” He place his finger on my lips shutting me up.

Lifting me up he drop me on the bed gently ” go to bed, I will like to check some things ”

Verdun rush out of the room to the guest room then the bathroom before coughing, coughing blood out of his system, an internal wound? Is this how that bastard plans to kill me slowly, looking at my image in the mirror I use my hand to smash it.

Finally find love and now am leaving, how can I leave Betty alone in this world, alone for other creatures who are looking for dream walkers life force to hunt her?

Leaving her unprotected

I never imagine myself to have such a death, do I regret making this deal? No I don’t because from it I got the respect I deserve but now am dying, dying and leaving Betty alone.
