NEXT MORNING••DEAN’S MANSION

Gianna slowly came to, her head throbbing from the night before.

She tried to sit up, but the room started spinning and she fell back down again. As she lay there, trying to get her bearings that was when she realized that she was in a strange bed in a strange room. She didn’t recognize anything about her surroundings.

She gently pull the sheets off her body, hoping it’s not what she was thinking, and realized that she was wearing a different outfit than the one she had worn the night before.

Panic started to rise within her, and she started to scream.

Just then, the door opened and a Dean walked in.

“What’s the problem?!!” He inquired and Gianna’s eyes widened.

“You again?!! What am I doing here? Where’s this place?!!” She demanded angrily.

“This is my house and what else can you do here?” Dean said,a sly smirk appeared on his face.

“What?” Gianna raised her brows.

“You really don’t remember what we did last night?”

“What nonsense are you talking about? And what did you mean by that? Where are my clothes?” Gianna scrambled to the other side of the bed, clutching the sheets to her chest.

“What else?”

Gianna got really mad, seeing his face just reminded her of Ryder she hates so much.

She spunged up,ready to land a heavy slap on his cheek,but Dean caught her hand before she could do so.

“Let me go you pervert! You actually brought me to your apartment so you could sleep with me?!! You animal! All men are the same! I hate you!” She yelled on top of her voice.

“Calm down miss,I was just joking! My maid was the one who undress you! I didn’t touch you, believe me!” Dean said, releasing her.

“How do you expect me to believe that?” Gianna asks,not believing.

“You being able to walk is enough prove I didn’t do anything,, I doubt if you can handle me!!” He smirked.

Gianna only glared at him.

“Is that what I get in return for saving you last night?”

Gianna gave him confused look,she don’t understand what he meant by saving her.

“It’s fine! just take your time and come down to eat, my maid will attend to you,, you can ask her where she kept your dress. See ya around” he winked and walked out.

Gianna sighed feeling relieve a bits,she would have just kill herself if it turned out she was raped after getting heartbroken by Ryder.

A sharp pain suddenly stung her head, she’s still feeling headaches,the drink was too much anyways.

She looked around the room, and located the bathroom.

Soon,she was done, she walked out and luckily she spotted one of Dean’s hoodie, she wore it anyway.

Not like she can leave the room without wearing something.

She got downstairs and met a lady setting the dinning table. She presumed she’s the maid he’s talking about.

She walked up to her and the lady look up.

“Can I get my dress please?” She asked, politely.

“You should take something before you go!” The maid suggested.

“No, thanks! I’ve to be somewhere!” She lied, she had to cos she needed something to get her out of here quickly.

The maid left and come back with her dress,She hand it to Gianna.

“Thank you!” She smile, and began heading to the door,her head turning around but there was no sign of Dean.

Like that, she left the place.

LYRIC PLACE

“Do we have to go to school again?” Starr rumbled as Lyric dress him up for school.

“Of course yes!” Lyric smiled.

“We have to, if you want to be a handsome CEO like mom’s boss!” Pearl chirped in,she was trying to fit in her second shoe.

“Since when did I mention my boss is handsome!” Lyric raised her brows.

“He’s a rich man, Of course he’ll be handsome! you don’t have to say it” Pearl pouted.

Lyric sighed,and shooked her head. Sometimes she just wondered where she got this two.

“She’s right, is he arrogant and cold hearted like the one we see in movies?” Starr asked. Lyric faced him,not saying any word.

“Is he?_ Did he scolded you on your first day?” Pearl went to hold her hand.

She didn’t want to respond but they won’t stop pestering her.

“No, it’s the opposite kids…” She finally respond.

“That’s great” Starr smiles

“Is he handsome like David? Is he rich like David’s family? Mom,are you falling for him?” Pearl threw her questions.

“You both should stop it, your school bus will soon be here!” Lyric snapped.

The kids frowned at once, and Lyric sighed tiredly, squatting in front of both.

“I’m sorry I got angry okay, it’s just that you’ll be late for school! I’ll tell you guys all what you want to know about him okay” She assured and they both nodded.

“You know I love you both right?!!” She kissed thier foreheads.

“We love you too Mummy!!” Pearl and Starr smiled,giving her a short peck as well.

They then hugged.

The door suddenly opened and Granny Lupe walked in, causing them to break the hugs.

“Sorry for cutting your little reunion short, but the school bus is here!” She said and the kids immediately grabbed thier backpack and rushed to her.

“Bye mommy!” They both waved before leaving with Granny Lupe.

Lyric waved back, before sinking unto the bed,her head up as she stared at space.

Even though she already love the kids as her own,the facts still remain they will always remind her of him.

Her rapist.

“Lyric dear!” She heard Granny Lupe voice and she quickly snapped out of her thoughts and sat up.

“Are they gone? Or did they left something behind?” She panicked.

“Are you thinking about him again? Is that why you got mad at the kids?!!” Granny Lupe asked.

Lyric nodded and broke into tears.

“I’m sorry if I failed you again but I really can’t stop thinking about it, don’t blame me, Everytime I look at them, they remind me of that wrenched animal!! I really want to erase the memory!” She said admist tears.

Granny Lupe moved closer and hugged her.

“You’ll be fine my dear, you have to forget about him for thier sake, please Lyric”

Lyric slowly nodded.

HERNANDEZ ESTATE

Mikaela stepped out of her room, feeling a little nervous. She was wearing a beautiful dress, her hair neatly combed and she had just the right amount of makeup on. She looked perfect.

With some of her books tucked under her arm. She took a deep breath and headed downstairs to the dining room, where a delicious breakfast was waiting for her.

Leonardo was nowhere to be seen, and she just assumed he left for work already.

She sat down at the table and began to eat, trying to relax.

She was about to start eating when she heard the sound of footsteps behind her. She turned around and saw her Leonardo, standing in the doorway.

He was dressed in a suit and tie, his hair neatly combed, and his eyes were sparkling with mischief.

“How come you’re still at home?” She asks,as Leonardo got to her.

“I’m used to Princeton waking me up” He replied and Mikaela hearts skipped a beat,at the mention of him.

“Yh, you’re right! Why haven’t I been seeing him around like before? Is everything okay?”

“He said he has things to take care of, he’s resuming work today” Leonardo replied.

“Can you ask him to pick me up after school” Mikaela smiled.

“No!!” Leonardo declined.

“Why?!” Mikaela pouted.

“No reason, I don’t want you to stress him Into having a drink with you again”

“I won’t! I promise! Please!!” She pleaded.

“No”

“I hate you!” She rolled her eyes and stand up to her feet, ready to leave.

“Aren’t you going to call Davis (Her personal driver)?”

“I’ll rather take a bus to school, happy? I’m mad at you” she said and left.

“OMG! Micky!!” Eclipse gasped when Mikaela got down from a cab, she has actually been waiting for her.

She rushed to Mikaela and grabbed her hay, dragging her away from the place.

“Why? What’s the problem?” Mikaela asked confusedly when Eclipse finally released her.

“Did Hernandez conglomerate goes bankruptcy? Why didn’t I hear anything like that? Why isn’t it on the news?” Eclipse asked dramatically.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean a whole heiress took a cab to school! Whoa! If I didn’t drag you away from thier, it’s will be over the school blog by now!” Eclipse said.

“Stop being dramatic, I did it to make my brother change his mind but he didn’t, I hate him so much” Mikaela folded her arms.

“I bet it’s the opposite, you should cherish your bond before he got married, I miss my sister” Eclipse pouted as they started walking to class.

“You still can’t find her?” Mikaela asked.

“Sadly, I can’t do it all alone and Dad is still benting on not looking for her, I and mom are just trying secretly, if he knows he’s surely gonna kick us out as well!! It’s not her fault she was rape! I just hope she’s ok wherever she is” Eclipse added and Mikaela patted her back.

“It’s all good! I’m here if you need my help, I badly want to meet her too” Mikaela smiled.

Almost immediately, they began hearing sound of romantic music playing in the background.

As they approached the lecture hall, she noticed something was off. There were flowers and balloons everywhere, and the words “Will you be my girlfriend?” were written in big, bold letters on the banner.

She looked around, trying to figure out what was going on, when she heard the sound of music become clearer.

She immediately knew who is behind this.

Just then, Dylan appeared with a bouquet of roses. He looked nervous, but his eyes were filled with hope.

Students were already gathering around.

Eclipse was already fuming with anger, and almost turned to leave but to leave but Mikaela pulled her back.

She held her tightly till Dylan got close,before releasing her.

“Ec…lipse or should I say my Kitten?” Dylan started, his voice shaking.

The students gushed, adding more to the anger burning inside her.

“I’ve been telling you this for a long time and I’ll keep saying it till you finally decided to believe me, we started chatting a year ago, but it’s felt like a lifetime cos I’ve never felt so much happiness with someone as i always felt when we chat, though the year you become my comfort zone and a shoulder I can relay on, my confined space,, that I didn’t realize I was falling untill I fell more harder and harder, ” Dylan continued, his hands trembling.

“I know this is probably a little crazy, but I’ve known you are the face behind that account for long, I was just so scared to show myself to you,, I know I’ve wronged you buy allow me to make it up to you, if you would be my girlfriend” Dylan concluded, breathing heavily.

It’s was as if all the previous comments fell through Eclipse other ears, cos the only one she heard was the last one.

She turned to Mikaela, who was also sending her to say yes, at least not to disgrace him.

But no one can dicates what she want for her.

She stood there for minutes, without a word. Everyone was already loosing hope,untill she suddenly took the flower from him,shocking the audience especially Dylan and Mikaela.

“Does that mean you accept?” Dylan asks. A smile playing on his lips.

“I accept the flower but not you, I already told you It’s can’t work out! You’re not my type, Froggy! We can never be together, I’m sorry” She said and began walking away.

“Eclipse!!!” Mikaela called but she didn’t wait.

“I’m so sorry Dylan, sorry!” She told Dylan before going after Eclipse.

The students started leaving one after the other, saying all sorts of things.

Dylan remained on a spot,not knowing how to move.

FEMALE RESTROOM

Eclipse raised her face from the running water,allowing her face to dry up as she started at her reflection in the mirror.

The proposing scene replayed in her head and she folded her fist, staring down at the flower angrily. She grabbed it and trashed it in a cabbage can next to her.

She removed her face cap, then retied her short hair in buns, before woring her cap again.

She made to leave when her phone buzzed in her joggers pocket.

It’s actually a text from Mikaela.

She replied and walked out,only to bumped into a familiar face.

“Froggy?!!” She called shockingly.

She was shocked because it’s the same exact person, he always sent his pics, same face and height, no different except that the guy standing in front of her is skinny and manly.

“I’m not Dylan, he’s my twin brother… You can call me Dave” He introduce and her hearts immediately skipped a loud beat.

Dylan has been there since he left the hurtfully scene,, he couldn’t stop thinking about Eclipse no matter how hard he tried.

It’s not his fault he fell insanely for her.

‘Why did she have to hurt him so much cos of his weight’

He has always been bodyshamed since he and Dave was in elementary.

If he didn’t have a handsome twin brother (Dave) it’s wouldn’t have been that much. He has always been bullied all his entire life, having to hide under his brother’s shadow.

More reason why he and Dave never get along.

And now, the girl he has ever love hate him cos of his body?

He didn’t know when his eyes become teary, and tears almost slipped out when he heard a girly voice from his back.

“Do you have to cry because of a girl? If you’re crying cos she refused to accept you for who you are, that means you will never learn to accept yourself” The voice said, breathlessly.

Dylan turned to see a slim tall pretty girl, she was almost the same height as him. He won’t deny he find her pretty,but it’s didn’t stand up to Eclipse beauty.

“Who are you?!!” Dylan asks,cleaning his tears.

“My name is Lisa! And I’ve been looking all over for you, I just knew you’d be here” Lisa said, moving closer.

“Why? What did you want from me?”

“Do you think killing yourself is worth it? There’s nothing you can do for someone who’s gone” Lisa stated.

“I’m not planning to end my life, and don’t tell me what to do cos you won’t understand what I’m feeling” Dylan snapped.

“I understand how you feel much more than anyone cos I was once like you! No I’m fatter than you, and I was bullied three times than you” Lisa added and Dylan only stared at her, not believing.

Anyone would be as surprised, cos it’s too hard to believe. She looks so skinny now.

“I can help you if you want, even if it’s hard… We can do it” Lisa said determinely and Dylan just stared at her.
