BOOK ONE : TALE OF FRANKENSTEIN
PROLOGUE:
Her breathing double, eyes searching any possible way to get out of this mess, his screams and cries couldn’t get out of her head, of course she made a deal of staying with him, she promised to make him see how to truly live, how to feel more human but she never thought it will kill her in a way.
Christian screams alarm her for the third time as she run down the stairs towards to the backyard, opening the door, her footsteps came to a halt, eyes widen from surprise.
Body trembling but not from fear, No. She was just surprised, the screams seem to be just her imagination, Frankenstein was just standing there digging a hole.
He had servants to do things for him so why is he here ” you’re awake ” he drop the tool he was using and proceeded in lifting the dead body beside him.
” What are you doing ”
” Providing the farm with nutrients ”
” That’s a dead body Frankenstein” I half growl but he just smile.
” Will you like to help out?” I watch him in horror, how he just shrug and proceeded in throwing the body in, he bend down then mumble simple words ” your wish finally came to pass, you will be useful in something, you will help my crops grow ”
What made Frankenstein attracted to me was the red dress, he said that many times but then am left to wonder maybe it’s because red is same colour with blood.
Maybe the rumors were true, maybe Frankenstein use people for experiment before dumping them.

BOOK ONE : TALE OF FRANKENSTEIN
CHAPTER ONE : THE LIBRARY INCIDENT
Rose remain seated on the couch in the living room, her eyes glue to the television ” you really do love watching him don’t you ” mum asked and I just shrug.
” Not really mum ” mumbling I stare at him with more intensity ” Mr Frankenstein just seem a little odd, different from anybody I have ever seen ”
” Well maybe you can know him better in the future if you get ready for your work ”
” It’s my day off mum ” sipping my cup of coffee I listen to this Frankenstein words, words of creating new world, new people.
” human beings will be able to have their look alike, I believe God gave us the ability to think, construct and build intellectual beings ” I watch him lick his lower lips then smile ” I know for a fact that the church are against me and they should know for a fact that God created me with this knowledge for a reason and trust me, I will be releasing a new human into this world, one that doesn’t age or dies” and after that the channel move to another show, his words ring in my ear and I exhale before standing to my feet.
” Mum don’t you think this Frankenstein is an interesting man ”
” I think he is insane” mum growl from the kitchen” trying to create another human is a sin”
” Says who mum ”
” The bible ”
Rolling my eyes I stand to my feet, move towards the dining table before dropping my cup ” am going out mum!”
” You said it’s your day off ”
” Only because am fired ” I mumble, my feet slowly climb the stairs, thoughts on how shitty my life is but still won’t trade it for another, bad times come and go, just because am having a difficult life now doesn’t mean anything.
Opening the door to my room, I quickly shower, rob my body lotion then move to opening my closet, all the clothes in red colour, my favorite colour but I think I should change it a little….pulling out a red plain short dress with flowers embroidered on it, I put it on ” I look beautiful, special I will say ” smiling to my words.
I should find a part time job today, I need time for my studies and school ” mum am off!!!” I yell while running out of the house, into the streets.
Cars, bikes….they all are on full speed and then Mr Frankenstein words came back to me, what if I can make myself live long, no one even knows how old he is
Could it be that he did that on his self, made himself to be able to live long?
” Be careful rose ” hearing Ava voice I stop walking then stare at her
” You scared me ” smiling I mumble ” what are you doing here ”
” Walking, just like everyone on the streets ”
Chuckling I mumble ” you know what I mean Ava ”
” I was headed to your place but then saw you thinking hard while walking on the busy streets ” she frown ” let me guess, it’s Frankenstein”
” Of course not ” averting my gaze from her I kept on walking.
” You really like him, don’t you ”
” I do not like a weird man as himself Ava ” mumbling I shoot her a glare ” am just interested in how he thinks ”
” You mean like an insane person ”
” No Ava, he is brilliant”
” Do you really think it is possible to create another person ”
” Not really but I will love to watch him try ” stoping at the library, I push open the door, I should return these books before looking for a new job.
” Rose I think you two are a perfect pair ”
” Tell that to mr Frankenstein” we both Chuckle before reaching the librarian, I hand over my book to her ” excuse, they is a new book I will like to read” she nod ” Ava, can you give me five minutes” smiling I move further into the library.
Am more interested in science than love, that doesn’t mean I don’t dream of falling in love and raising a family, I don’t have any past trauma to stop that or anything.
Am just twenty and will love to know more about the world, about science and Frankenstein theory.
Pulling out the book I smile ” the girl that break the world ” now this is a interesting book, not about men or love but women.
Before leaving I got a glimpse of dark hair,a man, he smelled strong and manly, normally I will just be on my own and leave but something in me wanted seeing him, whoever it was.
Well I hope am not the only one that get curious at times.
Moving towards that direction, I hid myself when I notice who it was, what is Mr Frankenstein doing here of all places, am not the kind to believe in fate but why this library of all places.
he is putting on a black trouser, white long sleeves button halfway, hair neatly comb and medical glasses as he read ” tale of afterlife, what kind of book is that? Is this the kind he reads?” I stare at him without blinking.
He isn’t even trying to hide like other celebrities, maybe he isn’t.
He flip the page then sigh, I watch how he lick his lower lip before nodding ” ridiculous” his voice calming to the core and oh Lord it is husky.
I had to swallow, no reason why but just had to.
I certainly don’t mind experimenting on him ” how can they write just fake facts” he drop down the book and then it caught my attention that over twenty books are on the floor besides him.
Well I can see he has anger issues.
Checking my time, I hate to leave but I have to, turning around I hurry back to the librarian” will be taking this book ”
” Alright ” she mumble and I smile but before Ava could pull me out of the library, an idea came to me, the best I have had for a long time.
” Is it possible for me to get a job here?” Looking at her, I put on my pleading eyes ” I just need to have a job, don’t care if am seeping or just arranging books ”
She smile ” that would be great, I am in need for someone to arrange books in the shelf’s properly, was about putting a notice outside”
” Thank you ” I smile feeling excited” when can I start ”
” Tomorrow will be okay ”
” How many hours ” I ask, hoping it won’t be much so I can get another job.
” Just till 12 noon ”
Before I leave I decided to introduce myself ” Am rose ”
” Call me sivin ” she smile, thanking her once more, me and Ava left the library.
” Why are you so interested in working there, the pay will be small ” she look worried, I stop walking then nod.
” I love books Ava, you should know that”
” Are you sure ”
I nod my head ” am sure ” well am pretty sure I will be seeing Mr Frankenstein there again, oh God I hope he comes, I hope I get to see him again, I do not plan on talking to him but just seeing him everyday will make me learn more of how much human he is ” I do need to get a new job ”
” Rose!”
” You did say libraries don’t pay much, I need money remember”
” Fine!”
” Thank you ” smiling I just couldn’t help but to feel that something is about to change, maybe my new result will be in 4.50 GPA, that will really make me happy.
Plus seeing Mr Frankenstein will do it too.
