CHAPTER SIX: HER TEARS
Rose slowly walk home, lots of things roaming in my head as I slowly kick each stone that’s right in front of me, was Ava right, Mr Frankenstein might be too dangerous for me, I should definitely stay away.
I just couldn’t help but to remember what he said, one could see that he meant what he said, is it that he lives through colour, if black means death and sadness then red will mean what to him?

I don’t think I want to find out though, but…..I stop thinking when my cellphone ring, dipping my hands in my bag I pull it out and pick it up without even checking who the caller is.

” Where are you, I can come pick you up ”

” I will ” he hung up after that and I literally run home, uncle Williams is mum younger brother, my crush…. definitely my crush, which I know is wrong because am his niece but God you need to see him.

Pushing the door open I run to the kitchen where my mum is ” mummy” calling her, she turn around, a confused look place on her face ” uncle Williams is coming, he is in Los Angeles”

” Well thank God the food is getting ready ” she mumble, proceeding to wash the dishes which I stop her from doing, she is already stressed out working three different work a day.

” Yes you are ” frowning I purred ” go to the living room and relax ”

” Please mum ” when she turn around I smile but everything seem to suddenly turn upside down, she staggered a little, the door open revealing Williams and then my mum fell down, the sound of her body hitting the floor seem to keep me in shock for a brief minutes.
Williams drop his bag and ran over to her, his lips moving, he is saying something but am too shock to understand, everything seem surreal, mum was fine a minute ago.
” Rose!!!!” Williams loud voice brought me back, sweats dropping from his face ” call 911 damnit ” I rush to the telephone located in the kitchen, took a minute before answer the call and in fifty minutes time, they are here.
Putting my mum in the ambulance, of course I didn’t leave her alone, sitting in the ambulance with William he place his hands on my shoulder and pull me close ” she will be okay” Williams try assuring me.

” she is breathing” I asked before looking at him, he nod then smile.
” She will be fine rose ”
I nod ” she has to, she is the only person I have in this world uncle Williams” tears drop from my eyes ” what will I do without her ”

Placing my head on his shoulder I cry silently while he pat my back gently and it was now I realize that things like crush are irrelevant in bad situations.
Arriving in the hospital, we sat outside her ward waiting for the results on her test, I don’t care about the money I have to pay, if my mum will be okay, everything will be fine.
The doctor step out and I rush towards his direction ” are you the patient daughter”
” Yes, how is my mother ”
” She is fine for now but she needs surgery”
I look at uncle Williams and then back to the doctor ” what’s wrong with her?”
” She has brain tumor ” he mumble ” it has been in there for awhile now, am surprised she is still alive, they must have been symptoms but she never visited the hospital if am correct ”
I nod” I suppose it will be really expensive ”
” Yes ” the doctor nod ” it will be really be great if we get it started soon, for now your mum will remain in the hospital, for different tests”
” Is it possible to see my mother, Now?”
” Of course, she is awake ”
” Thank you ”
Watching the doctor leave, uncle Williams nod his head ” am in this with you, we will find the money, for now…let’s go and see her ”
” Alright”
Stepping into the room where mum is placed in, I shut the door behind us, she looked so pale that my heart breaks for her ” rose, why am I here” she look around ” isn’t the hospital too expensive for us ”
” Mum”
” We should leave, they is no money for….” She try sitting up but I quickly hold her hands ” rose?”
” Please mum, just for once stop thinking about the money and let’s get you treated ”
She lay down gently then close my eyes, fighting the tears ” what’s my illness”
” Brain tumor mum ” kneeling beside her bed I smile ” don’t worry about the money for the surgery, I got it covered ”
” No ” uncle Williams mumble” we got it covered ”
” Am sorry my dear child ” she touch my face ” am turning out to be a burden to you ”
” No mum, Never ”
I couldn’t spend the night in the hospital with mum, I had work early in the morning, so I need to go back home, have a rest then wake up the next day to start hustling for the money which the doctor later said it’s one million dollars that will cover everything.
After showering I didn’t bother with brushing of hair and other things, I was emotionally drained, I pull out my red short dress which is completely plain with no design or what so ever.
Rolling my hair into a messy bun, I grab my bag and head to the library to work, I took my time I arranging the books as tears keep dropping from my eyes, I have no idea where I will get a million dollars from.
I don’t want my mother to die either.
Is it possible to get such money from prostitution? ” What am I thinking?” Mumbling I move slowly, selling my body for the night won’t kill.
Is not like am a virgin or anything.
Stopping I place the last book that was on my hand in the shelf then finally break down, I couldn’t help myself, they is no way out of it.
Bending down, I place my head on my knee and cry, I just couldn’t stop….I know crying won’t help matters but I have no idea where to start from.
I doubt uncle Williams even have a job.

Someone tap my shoulder and I lift my head only to stare at mr Frankenstein who is bending down to my level, staring at me ” Mr Frankenstein” I move my hands to clean my tears but he stop me ” Frankenstein?” He is still quiet but they is this look on his face.
Hungry look, like he has been starving for something and I have been with it ” let go of my hands Mr Frankenstein”
He did as I said then proceeded to lean close to me, so close that he brought out his tongue and lick my tears, his words made my stomach turn ” delicious” he place his hands on my cheek and stare at me ” cry for me rose ” I felt sick, he makes me feel sick with the kind of look am getting from him.
” Stay away” standing up, he didn’t move an inch from his position, just lift his head to stare at me.
” Finally found you, you can’t run rose ” he stand slowly then smile, for the first time, he actually smile ” my little one, red is a nice colour ”
He is indeed sick.

CHAPTER SEVEN: BUYING HER
Frankenstein remain standing while she shoot him a stare of disgust, there is one thing am sure of, she can’t leave until her shift is over, to think this girl is the one I was waiting to find me.
That’s right I never search for her, I believe she will come around one day and I was right, to see her in that dress, bent down and crying, oh Lord…..it gave me feelings I never knew I had, it has been a while I felt it.
Her tears definitely turned me on.
Licking my lips I use my right hand to cover my mouth, stoping the urgent moan that was hoping to escape, I want more, I want to see more of it.

” You, I will like to buy you ” she blink at my words then step back, I notice different presence, which means people are eavesdropping, it might be posted on online but I care less of that.

I look at my wrist watch, I have talked for thirty minutes, I will have to stop soon ” am buying you ” pulling out my business card, I hand it over to her ” you have till eight to decide, call me and let me know your answer ”
” What are you saying, that’s not acceptable, you can’t buy someone” she kept talking but I didn’t stop walking away from her ” but why ” that last question stopped me and I turn to look at her, knowing fully well she will be seeing my horny face.

” Master you look really calm today ” Luciano asked while driving ” this morning you were on the edge but now you seem relax ”
” Lady in red ” I mumble, simple words and Luciano got it immediately

” Indeed ” closing my eyes I smile ” she will be mine ” these situations always work in my favour.
Rose did things just like any normal day, after working the shift in the library I head to the coffee shop, hoping to be able to collect an early payment but I was send out” it’s no use ” I said to myself while serving everyone till the shop was empty and closed.
Williams also said it will take months to gather such money, he is also useless.
Mr Frankenstein didn’t show up, I threw away his business card in a show of anger but the worst part is that it fell into a fire ” rose, it’s time you leave, about locking the shop ” nodding my head I pick up my bag and slowly drag my feet to find Mr Frankenstein.
He is my only hope.
I see no other way to find the money, hearing my phone ring I pick it up without checking to see who is calling ” rose, where are you, you missed today test ” oh right, I forgot I was having a test today.
” That’s no problem ava”
” Is everything alright?”
” No ” crying I lean on a building” everything has gone wrong, I was happy a minute ago and then suddenly things changed ”
” What…..” She couldn’t complete her sentence before my phone turn off, oh yes, I forget to charge it earlier, forcing myself to move, my leg hit a stone, causing me to fall.
People stop moving and stare at me, I use the pain as an excuse to cry ” what are you people staring at, move!” I yell while more tears drop.
I kept crying for the fact am going to lose my mother but I didn’t remain on the ground, I stand up and it was then I saw Frankenstein stepping out of his car and staring at me with that same look.
Look of hunger.
It disgust me.
His words ring in my head again and my skin crawl ” you turn me on ” those were his words, I watch how he remain standing stare at me…..I need his help so I ran to him.
” Please help ” I blink at the dizziness that’s overtaking me, yes, I didn’t eat yesterday and today, my body is worn out, a gentle man is supposed to catch a falling woman but Frankenstein didn’t.
He remain standing with that look of pleasure as I fall and lose consciousness.
