Chapter 123 :- Fallen Allies and Evil within.

Getting revenge is the one thing I never thought I’d have, even in my last moments, I lost all hope of getting any until now. Having being resurrected didn’t just bring back the last painful moments of my past but it made me desire and thirst for revenge more than anything else. The pain of being in purgatory was nothing compared to seeing my enemies prosper and flourish. It filled my mind with eminent rage realizing that my demise was a stepping stone for Riley and Christen to reach to the mountain top, they’re on today.

The first target on my list is that bastard, Riley. Even in purgatory, my hatred for him only grew to the extent I thought of a millions ways to kill him. Not only did he steal Christen’s heart but he also planted his seed in her and expanded his worthless bloodline. Killing him alone won’t be enough, I’ll have to destroy everything he’s built over the years. My second target would be the traitorous Christen, to think that I loved her so much only to lose her to the human is just unacceptable. Not only that but she betrayed her honor as a witch for breeding with human. Unlike Riley who’s death will be slow and brutal, her death will be quick and painless but first before I take her life, I will defile and rape her unstop until I’m satisfied. I cannot wait to get my hands on that seductive body of hers. Finally, my last target would be the Rose, the reason why I was dead in the first place. Fighting her would be suicide cause she’s by far stronger than me. I may not be able to fight her but nothing would hurt her more than to lose her precious sister Christen. She might kill me for that but it’s worth it, she will be forever feel the pain of her sister’s demise in her heart and I would gladly laugh at her face when that happens.

Since my resurrection, I’ve been compelled to wait for the right moment of strike. Each passing day was unbearable knowing that my enemies were still breathing and after waiting for weeks, the time had finally come for me to make my move. Presently, here I was at the premises of Riley and Christen’s home observing the quiet environment. Not only had the place changed but environment itself was a haven of solace. Both Christen and Riley had cut themselves from the noisy world in order to live in such a quiet and spacious place. Apart from the nice environment, the house itself is a thing of beauty, these miserable duo had managed to build and live the life they’ve both dreamed of. After observing the premises of the house, I decided to break into it and destroy it from the inside out but before I could get close, I began to hear noises in the house. I froze in that moment trying to listen to what was happening but to my surprise there was a dead silence but then in that moment, someone instantly appeared outside the house and to my surprise it was Christen.

Stunned by Christen’s appearance, Monife’s eyes pops wide open as she stares at her lustfully. Despite her vile intentions, Monife’s obsession for Christen was still as strong as ever. She drooled like a love-sick gorilla as she noticed how stunning and attractive the witch before her was. In that awkward moment, Monife screams out loudly and begins to laugh mischievously into the cold atmosphere like a crazed person.
Meanwhile, Junior who had taken the form of his mother was shocked and bewildered by Monife’s action. After being well informed about the resurrected witch’s obsessive crush over his mom, he decided to use his mother’s form to distract her whilst the others make their move. Seeing that Monife was yet to say anything, Junior decided to make his move.

Riley Jr ➡ Hello Monife, how’s the taste of death?
.

Monife ➡ (silence)
.

Riley Jr ➡ Aren’t you going to say anything or perhaps the maggots have eaten your tongue as well.

Monife ➡ (silence)

Riley Jr ➡ (sighs) I know why you’re here but I’m afraid it’s never going to work out between us. I’m married to Riley and you know how it goes.

Despite all his efforts to make Monife talk, Junior was surprised to see that she was yet to say nothing. Instead, she kept staring at him like a predator on the hunt and just when things seem like there isn’t going to be any response from Monife, she suddenly cracks up and begins to converse with junior.

Monife ➡ (laughs) Whoever you are, your transformation was top notch. Brilliant.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Transformation? What are you talking about?
.

Monife ➡ I know a shape shifting magic user when I see one and yours isn’t bad but you made one mistake. That Bitch Christen doesn’t talk much. In fact, she hates to talk and she hardly gloats. Tell me, who are you?

Realizing that he had been found out, Riley Jr curses silently and transforms into his real self. As soon as the little brat had revealed his true self, Monife glares at him viciously as she sees Riley’s resemblance on the boy.

Monife ➡ So you’re Riley and Christen’s kid?
.

Riley Jr ➡ 100%, flesh and blood.
.

Monife ➡ (laughs) Interesting and you have my magic?
.

Riley Jr ➡ So? You’re not the only shape shifting magic user.
.

Monife ➡ No but I did make love to your mother. I poured out all my love into her womb. (moans) Such good times. I could have sworn she had gotten pregnant with my seed. (Check Season 2)

Riley Jr ➡ Yuck!! Ewww!! Omo, your craze na another level. No wonder Aunt Rose murderize you.

Monife ➡ Little punk. I’m going to tear from limb to limb.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Bitch, na me go bury you. I’m going to finish what my parents started and when I’m done, I go pissed on your grave. Oloshi.

Monife ➡ Bratty sharp tongue piglet. I’m going to tear you apart limb from limb.
.

Riley Jr ➡ You go explain tire.. Common belle you no fit give persin. Impotent werey. Abeg go crawl back to your grave, you were useless then, you’re still useless now.

Angered by Junior insulting and mocking statement, Monife yells with rage and unleashes her shape shifting magic abilities on the young half breed. Instead of using a full transformation, Monife uses her fingers and transforms them into gun barrels and begins to fire out dark magical energy at Junior. Fortunately for the little brat, he avoids Monife’s magical projectile by teleporting out of harm’s way.
Immediately after Junior’s disappearance, Hadiza appears behind Monife through a portal and slashes the witch’s back with her whips. As soon as the whip had coiled itself around Monife, Hadiza pulls her with all her strength and beat her mercilessly. Since her magic wasn’t meant for battle, Hadiza uses her magical energy to do more damage to Monife with each punch but despite her fighting skills, the young witch was no match for Monife’s cunning. Using her shape shifting magic, Monife instantly transforms into a giant python and coils herself around Hadiza trying to crush her but before that could happen, Junior who had already transformed himself into an eagle charges in on Monife’s python form and begins to attack her head.
As Monife struggles with Riley, she lets go of Hadiza who pulls back and watches the fight. Seeing that Junior’s eagle form is about to tear off her head, Monife instantly transforms into a leopard in mid-air trying to grab and crush him with her jaws but to her surprise, the little brat counters her transformation with his own by turning into an Elephant. The ground shook and vibrated as Junior landed on Monife with a hard impact. Hadiza who was watching the fight couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by little fiance’s performance. Shortly after crushing Monife to the ground, Junior transforms into a bird and hands on Hadiza’s shoulders boasting about his victory.

Hadiza ➡ Junior, that was impressive.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Oh please, it wasn’t that difficult. I thought she would give me a tough time but it seems all that talk about her was just exaggerated.
.

Hadiza ➡ Don’t toot your own horn, Junior. We don’t know if she’s dead yet.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Omo, she’s dead. Do you know how heavy an Elephant is? There’s no way she survived…… EH!!
.

In that moment, Both Hadiza and Junior were shocked as they saw Monife back on her feet. They were even more surprised when they saw that her crushed body was regenerating rapidly before their very eyes. After recovering from her injuries, Monife glares at Junior for some seconds and then smirks viciously.
.

Monife ➡ I’ll be damned if I’m going to let a kid ruin my chances for revenge. The mistake was mine, I underestimated you and I paid the price. Now it’s time for me to make my own move. Watch and learn little brat, let me you what shape shifting magic looks likes.

In that moment, Monife releases a dark magical energy from within her which began to melt the snow beneath her feet. After releasing the dark magical energy, Monife’s form changes into a hideous one, although her physique was intact, her features were completely changed. Her face which had two eyes now had one and her ears were now four. Horns emerged from her forehead and her skin was now dark and rough like a stone. Shortly after her transformation, Monife’s fingers instantly transform into snake heads.

Riley Jr ➡ Jesus.. What is that?
.

Hadiza ➡ This is bad. Real bad.
.

Riley Jr ➡ What do you mean?
.

Hadiza ➡ Every witch and wizard has a dark form, a dark side that transcends them to their most savage and powerful state.

Riley Jr ➡ Dark form? I’ve never heard of it.
.

Hadiza ➡ Hold on, don’t you have any knowledge about witch craft?
.

Riley Jr ➡ Only my sister does.
.

Hadiza ➡ Wow, you have a lot to learn.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Look out!!!

Suddenly in that moment, Monife stretches both her hands allow her snake head fingers to extend towards her unsuspecting opponents. After dodging the snake heads, Hadiza and Junior dispersed in different directions trying to diverse Monife’s attention. Meanwhile here inside Riley and Christen’s house, Morenike, Lionel and his twin daughters observe the fight that was going on. Morenike who was frightened by Monife’s transformation feared that junior might be in trouble but her mind was soon calmed down by Helen.

Morenike ➡ Jesus Christ, what did that witch do to herself?
.

Helen ➡ She has transcended to her dark form.
.

Morenike ➡ Dark form?
.

Helen ➡ Yes, it’s the innate darkness behind every witch and wizard’s magic. In other words, she’s reached her full potential.

Morenike ➡ What does it take to reach that level?
.

Helen ➡ Rage, desire, desperation, lust and even love.
.

Morenike ➡ So has anyone in this family ever reached that point.
.

Helen ➡ Only my mom and Aunt Christen. You remember how Aunt Christen went berserk and almost changed form. That’s her dark form.

Morenike ➡ Jesus, so what do we do now? Is junior in trouble?
.

Helen ➡ Unfortunately no. He’s just messing around with that witch to see what she’s capable of.

Lionel ➡ Quiet, something is happening.

Realizing what junior and Hadiza were trying to do, Monife transforms herself into a giant hideous spider and begins to chase Hadiza. Seeing that Monife had focused her attention on her, Hadiza quickly holds her whips, imbues them with magical energy and then began to swing them around in a very fast frenzy. The whips swung so fast that they were creating sparks whirring noises and after swinging the whips for a while, Hadiza charges straight at the incoming Monife and begins to fight her.
Despite her huge size, Monife couldn’t get close to Hadiza who was busy swinging her whips at her and after realizing that this form would not do for her, she quickly transforms into a giant scorpion. Immediately after her transformation, Monife instantly uses her big poisonous scorpion tail on Hadiza. Fortunately for the lass, she was able to dodge all of the attacks until she eventually cuts Monife’s tail making her squeal in pain.

Monife ➡ YOU BITCH!! YOU’RE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS. DIE!!
.

Within a blink of an eye, Monife charges straight at Hadiza despite the risk of her own life trying to crush her. Despite her attempt to dodge, Hadiza couldn’t escape the instant swing of Monife’s scorpion claw which smacked her hard in her mid section. Junior who had witnessed what Hadiza was going through came on her rescue by throwing a stone which he imbued with his anti magic spell on Monife and as soon as the stone touches the latter, her magic and transformation disappears.

Now back to her real form, Monife yells angrily and charges towards Hadiza who was incapacitated so as to finish her off but before she could get close, a stray bullet which came out of nowhere hits and blows off her head completely. Stunned by what had happened to Monife, Junior freezes in his step and looks around for some seconds before picking up Chris’s scent from afar. Despite getting her head blown off, Monife immediately regenerates and staggers back to her feet but before she could make a move, another bullet hit her from behind blowing half of her body away.

Monife ➡ (yells angrily) First my magic disappears and now this. Who’s that coward? Is it Riley? Show yourself!!!
.

Riley Jr ➡ You’re finished. Just die already.
.

Monife ➡ NEVER! not until I’ve had my revenge.
.

Riley Jr ➡ We shall se… EHH!!?
.

In that moment, Monife regenerates again and then quickly transforms into a hawk making her retreat into the sky. Junior who was about to give her a hot chase was stopped by Hadiza who was struggling to get back on her feet.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Omo, you no run o.
.

Hadiza ➡ Junior, don’t follow her.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Hadiza, are you okay?
.

Hadiza ➡ I’m fine.
.

Riley Jr ➡ You could have let me follow her.
.

Hadiza ➡ No, she’s too cunning and we don’t yet know what her real objective is. It’s better we all stay together. (groans painfully)

Riley Jr ➡ Are you sure you’re okay?
.

Hadiza ➡ I got hit pretty bad. That’s all.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Let me help you up.
.

In that moment, as Junior transforms into an older version of himself, he carries Hadiza in his arms and takes her back to his parent’s house and upon his arrival there, He sees his Uncle, his step-brother Akinbilege outside the house with Morenike and before he could get close, the former disappears.
.

Junior ➡ What’s my step brother doing here?
.

Morenike ➡ It’s Chris, he’s in trouble. I think that witch went over to his place.
.

Riley Jr ➡ Omo, yawa don finish for this guy. Here, look after Hadiza, I’ll go see if he can do anything.
.

Lionel ➡ No.. Let your brother handle this. I’m sure he’ll bring back Chris alive but for now you’re needed here.

Supernatural beings may be ridiculously powerful entities but they’re not all powerful. Like all living things, they too bleed and die. Ever since I was incapacitated by that bewitching nightmare of a Succubus, I’ve been preparing myself to get even. As crazy as it may sound, It’s better for me to die fighting than to die being helpless and weak. Immediately I recovered from the Succubus’s curse, I armed myself with all the heavy firepower I could get. I trained day and night to keep my body in tip top shape and I also prayed to God for protection and guidance. As the world faces invasion and extinction, I decided to spend some of my time enjoying what life had to offer and one of those things was intimacy with Morenike.
Having sex with Morenike wasn’t just for fun but it was also a necessary cure against the Succubus’s curse. Every week, we would have sex at random in at least 3 to 4 days, there was no credible explanation for this phenomenon but with each sex, my health go better and better.
Besides the sex, Morenike and I got to spend quality time with each other bonding our relationship. I grew to love her more and more until I eventually decided to ask for her hand in marriage as soon as this rising chaos is over.

Presently after testing my brand new military grade sniper on the witch that tried invading Ebinouluwa’s home, I decided to get out of the freezing cold and head home. A few minutes ago, I was out here testing the range distance of my new toy when I suddenly spotted this unfortunate witch through my binoculars of my sniper. I didn’t hesitate to take her out as soon as I got the opening I needed. Had it not been for the heavy snow , I might have taken her out.
Whilst I was heading home, I decided to give Morenike a call to check on her and after seconds of dialing her number, she answered my call.

Morenike ➡ Chris, how are you?

Chris ➡ I’m fine, you?
.

Morenike ➡ I’m barely hanging on to my senses. We just got invaded by some witch who turns out to be a ghost from the past. She’s gone now.

Chris ➡ Well, I happen to be responsible for that.

Morenike ➡ What do you mean?
.

Chris ➡ I was the one who blew the witch’s head off.
.

Morenike ➡ What!? Chris, don’t you know witches have keen sense of smell. What if she sniffs you out?

Chris ➡ Relax, there’s no way she’s..
.

In that moment before I could finish talking, I heard some noise behind me and immediately I turned around, I saw something I wasn’t expecting. Just a few distance from my direction stood the witch glaring at me viciously, her eyes were burning with rage and her facial expression was so terrifying. Morenike who was still on the phone called my name several times but I couldn’t answer her.

Morenike ➡ Hello, Chris.. Hello, is everything okay?
.

Monife ➡ So you’re the miserable coward that ruined my moment?! I’m going to tear you apart and I’m going to eat your heart and feed your carcass to the maggots. Any last words, human?
.

Chris ➡ Yes o. May the lord deliver us from evil.
