Alone in his car while driving steadily at night, Ade’s mind wanders off to his discuss with Felicia 24hrs ago. The news was too good to be true that Ade was having hærd time accepting it. To think that he spent the last decade as a single man only for him to find out that he has a son whom he doesn’t know about and the thing that pained him the most was the fact that Felicia didn’t even bother to tell him until now.
Ever since their discussion ended in a unpleasant manner, Felicia had been cold towards Ade and hasn’t said a word to him. He knew that trying to plead with her would only make things worse so he decided to let her be.

After driving for about 25mins, Ade arrives at Susan’s house. Ever since Felicia’s unexpected return, Susan hasn’t spoken or called him at all and that was all thanks to Felicia. Ade didn’t want to hurt her feelings or let their relationsh¡p be ruined by Felicia that’s why he had came to settle things with her. As soon as he had parked his car, Ade went straight into his girlfriend’s house.

Here in,side her house, Susan who’s covered in a scandalous nightie sits comfortably on her sofa polishing the last finger on left hand and just as she was about to be through, Ade makes his presence known to her by offering a warm greeting to her but instead of replying him, Susan stares at him for some seconds and then let’s out a long hiss. Even with that, Ade wasn’t discouraged from what he had came to do.

Susan ➡ So you finally had the balls to show up? Get out.

Ade ➡ Don’t be mean Sue. Just let me explain myself. I beg you.

Susan ➡ What’s there to explain? Your old flame came back and you chose her over me, now that she’s rejected you, you want me to accept you back.

Infuriated by Susan’s ignorance, Ade keeps quiet for a while and then takes a deep breath. He soon walks up to Susan and sits next to her crossing his fingers between each other, Susan who had fixed her gaze on Ade waited to hear the ridiculous excuse he would try to bring up.

Ade ➡ You’re wrong about what you said. It’s true that she used to be my love interest but that was long ago. You’re the one I’m interested in not her.

Susan ➡ Well you made you point clear when she showed up. You didn’t even deny her, she humiliated me and you did nothing.

Ade ➡ I’m sorry but I assure you Felicia and I are history.

Susan ➡ What nonsense!! You can’t really believe that do you? She might have lied to you and besides that child that she claims is yours might be from another man. What happened between you two anyway, what caused the split?

Ade ➡ We didn’t split, she left. We had no quarrel or fight, it’s just that she doesn’t like to stay in one place for long. She promised that she’d return soon so I waited, years passed and she didn’t return until now.

Felicia ➡ I don’t need to fight. He’s as good as mine. I’ll let that b-tch play with him for a little while but for now I’ll just stand by and watch.

Jennifer obriaka (aka) Cheetah. She has been a friend and an ally ever since I left Ade and the others. Just like me, she too is an elite and she’s someone I trust the most amongst all the other elites I know.
Jennifer and I share one common similarity and that’s hustle but there’s a slight difference, I smuggle contrabands and sell them at the hugest bidder while she steals things and sells them off at a higher price in the black market. We both got along instantly the first day we’ve met and we’ve been friends ever since.
Although there were times where our relationsh¡p went beyond friendsh¡p, we once on and off lesb-an lovers. It might seem awkward but that’s just how it is. Seeing how dependable and smart Jennifer was, I decided to keep Richærd under her care besides unlike me, she doesn’t move around too much and she sure can keep a very low profile.
So presently here I was in Surulere enjoying a hot spicy suya for the evening. The guest house where Ade reserved for us was a little bit crampy for so I decided to get some fresh air. While I was munching my suya with a chilled bottle of coke, my mind went back to Ade.
Maybe I was a little unfair to keep him waiting for a decade and also hiding the existence of our son from him but still that doesn’t give him the guts to say that I’m not trustworthy.

It’s been 24hrs now since I last saw Ade and our previous discussion didn’t end well and I also recalled telling him some awful stuff which wasn’t true. Perhaps I was a little rough on him and quarreling at this point won’t help either of us. So after I was done consuming my suya, I decided to call Ade and talk things out with him but before I could do that, something unbelievable happened.
Suddenly, a loud boom was heard from the sky and a shiny dot of light could be seen descending from above, the loud sound attracted everyone’s attention including mine. Seeing the incoming object heading towards us in great speed, everyone dispersed in different directions running for their lives and just as I was about to take off, I noticed a little girl standing alone looking left and right repeatedly. She must have gotten lost or maybe her parents took off without her. As I saw the object heading towards the girl, I quickly teleported myself towards the girl and teleported her to a safe location so that she would be safe from harm.
Immediately the object made contact with the ground, a thunderous explosion went off destroying anything that was within a 2 mile radius. Properties were damaged and the few people who didn’t run were killed on the s₱0t.
Once the smoke had cleared, I and some other curious people began to approach the s₱0t where the object had landed and as soon as we all arrived there, we were shocked beyond belief.
Here before us was a humanoid robot which squatted on the s₱0t it had landed, it’s head was lowered as if he was bowing down to a king. The people around me were surprised by this artificial being but none of them was as surprised as I after I saw the symbol on it’s right shoulder. In that bewildered moment, one man took a stone and began to stone the Android cursing it angrily, others too followed the man and began to stone the Android but little did they know that their actions would cause greater consequences.
In a blink of an eye, the Android looked up and instantly grabbed a man that was closer to it and crushed his head like a tomato, other men tried to beat the Android down but they too got the same fate as the first victim and as soon ad everyone realized that this Android was doom itself, everyone took off like antelopes scre-ming out their lungs.
I never knew that Prometheus would make their move, this was quicker than I anticipated and it seems like that Mad genius had upgraded his inventions. Seeing that the people were running for their lives, the android stood up and began to annihilate anyone that was on it’s path.
Innocent blood stained the streets of Surulere and the body count was increasing, I did the best I could to teleport people out of harms way but it wasn’t enough. Before long, armed forces and law enforcements had made their way to the scene shooting the damned Android but they too were wiped out after the Android unleashed powerful incineration blasts from the palm of it’s hand. The police and mopol were roasted alive, along with their guns and cars.
Realizing that there was nobody else to put this damned Android down, I decided to take the bull by the horn and do the deed. Normally, I don’t go for the hero stuff but this situation requires immediate help, innocents were dying and I just can’t stand by and watch.
Following the deadly machine from a safe distance, I scouted the streets for something I would use to teleport in,side it’s circuit. I wanted to teleport a car but I can’t teleport something that big, not yet. As I kept following the android, the damned thing instantly turned around and rushed towards me in great speed and just in the nick of time, I teleport myself out of it’s reach.
Dealing with this robot is going to be tough, it knows that I’m following it and if I’m not careful, my head would get crushed. Despite spacing myself greatly from the damned Android, it began to chase me around like magnet. I wanted to teleport out Surelere but that would mean endangering other people of Lagos as well. If I’m too defeat it, I’m do it here in Surulere.
Seeing that the Android wouldn’t stop following me, I decided to take to the offensive, I instantly teleported a gun into my hand from one of my contrabands and began to shoot the damn thing. My actions were futile cause it’s body was made off titanium steel. Despite that, I kept teleporting one different gun to another wasting it all on this damned Android but nothing worked.
Not only was I getting tired and sweaty but I was also getting frustrated, here I was unleashing hell and yet this stupid metal refuses to die and the annoying thing was the bullets weren’t piercing it. Just before I could teleport another gun, the damned thing instantly caught up to me and grabbed me by the throat driving me hærd on the street. The pain I felt hurt like hell but that didn’t stop me from fighting back, I teleported myself from the Android’s hand and hid myself in a nearby store in order to figure something out.
In that moment, the Android smashed it’s way into the store and made it’s way towards me. Just when I thought that it was going to attack, the Android stood in front of me and began to show the holographic images of the mad genius from it’s eyes.

Hephaestus ➡ Well, well, well. If it isn’t Felicia. I really wasn’t expecting to see or hear from you.

Felicia ➡ Hephaestus!! You sly dog, I see you’ve made some improvements.
.

Hephaestus ➡ And that’s thanks to you. You destroyed my lab and intentions but that gave me the determination I needed to rebuild and refined my toys.

Felicia ➡ What you did here unforgivable. I will find you and end you.
.

Hephaestus ➡ I would like to see that b-tch but I’m afraid I won’t take that risk. As long as you’re alive you pose a threat to the org-nization. It’s time for you to die.
