Kabir ➡ We have to prepare.

Ifeanyi ➡ What about the traitors!? We need to stop them before they join Prometheus.

Felicia ➡ Let them join, we’ll crush them all together.

Kaityln ➡ So now that we’re working together, how do we contact each other?

Kabir ➡ Let’s all stay together and work this problem together. Ade has a private lodge in Victoria island, the place is big enough to contain us all.

Eve ➡ Count me out. I have my own lodging.
.

Chris ➡ What’s the matter? You dey hang out with ordinary people like us? This Rich people una get problem.

Eve ➡ Better watch your mouth or else.
.

Chris ➡ (laughs) Try am make you see, I hope say you fast?
.

Ade ➡ Enough!! Eve can I speak with you privately?
.

After excusing himself from others, Ade pulls Eve further away from the others and tries to appeal to her good nature.

Ade ➡ Look Eve, I know we’ve had our differences but this is no time for us to be squabbling amongst each other.
.

Eve ➡ Hold on.. I agreed to join you and the others but sleeping under the same roof is out the question.
.

Ade ➡ Why?
.

Eve ➡ (sighs) Ade.. I really don’t like you but I trust you however I can’t say the same for Felicia. There’s no denying that I loathe her but ever since she showed up during our confrontation, my senses have been tingling like crazy and also I’ve been picking off a weird vibe around her. As if what she revealed to us wasn’t shocking enough, I’m telling you she’s hiding something else. I can’t share the same roof with someone like her.

After Eve’s statement, Ade couldn’t help but agree with her ; after all Felicia did make him promise not to tap into her mind. It’s quite obvious that she’s hiding something else. Shortly after Eve’s departure, Felicia appears by his side and puts her arms around him but Ade brushes her off politely.

Felicia ➡ What’s the meaning of this?
.

Ade ➡ Felicia, we need to talk alone. Now.
.

Felicia ➡ What for?
.

Ade ➡ No more secrets.. Tell me what you’ve up to during the last decade. Spill it out.
.

Sensing the serious tone in Ade’s voice, Felicia sighs and grabs hold of his hand, teleporting them both completely out of the place.

Secrecy is a concept which everyone is highly sensitive about especially when it involves something very personal to them. However not all secrets are meant to be hidden cause they’re highly dangerous and they could affect someone’s life later in the future especially when that person doesn’t know the consequences behind it and once they get hit by those consequences they begin to ask themselves Why and how?

Ever since Felicia’s unexpected return, I had a feeling that there was something strange about her return. I would have asked my spirit friends to help tap her mind but she had already promised me not to do so.
Here now in the present just moments ago, Felicia revealed a secret which was quite disturbing to us all, she had unknowingly made a mess in the past and now everyone else is caught up in it.
Eve was right when she said Felicia was hiding something and whatever it is that she’s hiding and I’m going to find out what it is. It’s time she told me everything she’s hiding.
I was surprised when Felicia teleported us out of the cargo port. She must have found a way to boost up her powers. Before all she could teleport were people and items but now it seems she can now teleport herself as well.
Shortly after Felicia teleported us both, we soon found ourselves on top one of the great pyramids of Egypt. I was totally blown away and shocked at the same time, in fact I couldn’t wrap my head about this. Seconds ago, we were in Lagos and now we’re in Egypt and the good thing was it was also night time here in the ancient city.

Ade ➡ This is amazing. When did you learn to teleport yourself?
.

Felicia ➡ 9 years ago.. I was trapped in the most difficult and uncomfortable position in my life and that was how I was able to advance my powers.

Ade ➡ What happened!?.
.

Felicia ➡ I can’t.. tell you.
.

Ade ➡ That reminds me.. Enough is enough Felicia. Tell me whatever secrets you’re hiding. If I’m to trust you then you must tell me everything.

Felicia ➡ I.. I.. I’m sorry.
.

Ade ➡ Felicia!! This is serious. After what you just revealed to us, it’s going to be hærd for anyone to trust you. Spill everything you’ve hiding. Don’t make break my promise to you.
.

Felicia became silent and stared at me with those lovely eyes of hers contemplating whether to tell me her secrets or not . She looked so beautiful and enticing that I couldn’t help but feel a bit h-rny. It’s surprising that aftee all these years, she has manages to make her look beautiful and attractive.
Minutes later, she turned her back on me and folded her arms staring up into the sky, she took a long deep breath before looking back at me once more and spilled out every secret she had.

Felicia ➡ (sighs) I… you.. we have a child.
.

Ade ➡ Come again?
.

Felicia ➡ It’s a boy and he’s in excellent health. blah blah blah blah…..
.

Ade ➡ Felicia, slow down. Repeat what you just said.
.

Felicia ignored me and kept talking absentmindedly and the funny thing was the only word I heard from her l-ips was *Child*. In that moment, I grabbed her shoulders and shook vigorously for some seconds before I asked her once more to repeat what she said.
.

Ade ➡ Repeat what you just said. You have a child?
.

Felicia ➡ Not just mine, it’s also yours as well. We have a son.
.

There’s no news that jiggles a man than pregnancy news or the news that he has a child who’s existence he doesn’t about. My legs felt weak and my body fazed instantly as I tried to process what Felicia had said to me. I wanted to doubt her, I was to say that she was lying but the seriousness in her voice made me hesitate.
How could I have a son without knowing? Besides how was that even possible? I know I’ve slept with Felicia before she left but we only did it once or twice. Even if it’s true that she had my child, why didn’t she tell me?

Ade ➡ Is this suppose to be joke? Cause it’s not funny.
.

Felicia ➡ It’s the truth. The child is yours. It was weeks after I left you and the others that I found out I was pregnant with your child.

Ade ➡ Why didn’t you tell me?
.

Felicia ➡ Because I didn’t want to. If I did, you’d beg me to stay and I’ll no choice but to. I was young then and being a housewife isn’t on my agenda.

Ade ➡ What’s the boy’s name?
.

Felicia ➡ Richærd.
.

Ade ➡ Where is he?
.

Felicia ➡ he’s in good hands and in excellent health.

Ade ➡ Did you tell him about me?
.

Felicia ➡……….. No.
.

For the first time in my life, I despised and resented Felicia. First she tells me I have a son and now the boy doesn’t even know whether I exist. What kind of person does that? I don’t know why she did this but whatever her reason may be, it’s just wrong.

Ade ➡ I hate you.
.

Felicia ➡ Why? Because I didn’t tell your son about his father?
.

Ade ➡ How could you? Why keep my existence a secret from our son? Do you even care about his feeling?

Felicia ➡ (silence)
.

Ade ➡ I’m surprised at you, Felicia. I never expected this from you. Eve was right after all. You’re not to be trusted.

As if she had been stabbed in the back, Felicia snapped and swung her right hand to slap me but her hand went through my face like thin air.
.

Felicia ➡ Better watch how you talk to me, okay!? Watch I do is my decision and mine alone. You don’t know what I’ve been through in the last 10yrs. I’ve been rolling with my way of life long before I met you and if you don’t like the way I do my thing them you can go to hell. If there’s one thing that I’ve learnt throughout my life is that you lookout for your own and you never trust anyone.
I’m sorry for not telling you about our son but don’t you tell lecture me about trust and for your information I wasn’t planning on hiding him from you. I wanted to find the right time to introduce him to you. You know what? you can go to hell, you think I came back just because I missed you or I needed your help to face Prometheus ?? I barely know you and our little fling was just for fun not love. So get it deep into your skull phantom boy.. I’m nobody’s woman and I’m free to do whatever I want.
Keep it in mind that once we’ve dealt with Prometheus, it will be the last time you ever see me again.

After that heart shredding statement, Felicia teleported away and left me standing on the pyramid. I would have liked to convince myself that I don’t care about what she said but honestly I’m devastated. Listening to those awful words was enough to break a man and it hurts to know that all the good times I’ve spent with Felicia meant nothing to her. I would like to believe that what she said was just to hurt my feelings but one can never tell or predict a woman’s actions.
Shortly after Felicia’s departure, I began to wonder how I could get back to Nigeria, I could fly back there but it’s going to take days before I get there. As I was thinking about the fastest way back to the country, Atlas appeared by my side and began to make fun of my situation.

ATLAS ➡ (laughs)
.

Ade ➡ What’s so funny?
.

ATLAS ➡ First you get torn apart by the woman you cherish and now she leaves you hanging in a different country.. Those calabar women are quite feisty.
.

Ade ➡ I never knew demons could eavesdrop.
.

ATLAS ➡ Nevertheless.. How do you plan on returning home?
.

Ade ➡ I really have no idea. Maybe I should fly back to Lagos .
.

ATLAS ➡ You fool. After all these years, you still haven’t understand the potentiality of your abilities. Your woman just advanced herself and you’re still in the novice section.

Ade ➡ Listen fool. I don’t know how to and even if I did, I don’t have ant reason to boost myself.
.

ATLAS ➡ Well you do now. Do you know the speed of phantom beings such you and myself?
.

Ade ➡ What about it?
.

Demon ➡ I can’t explain it to you.. It’s beyond the laws of space and time.

Ade ➡ Isn’t that teleportation?
.

Demon ➡ It’s more than that. It’s like taking a long journey but you’ll be at your destination without time passing by.

Ade ➡ Are you saying that you can go to Nigeria right now but the time will still remain intact? That’s….
.

ATLAS ➡ Impossible!? Boy, you have no idea what’s possible.
.

Ade ➡ How do I do that? Do I need to project some kind of image in my mind?
.

ATLAS ➡ It doesn’t work like that.. Just relax and feel the world around you, like you’re in some kind of everlasting peace. I have go now. You figure it out yourself.

Atlas vanished in that moment. I still couldn’t wrap my head around what he said but I gave it a shot. I checked the time and saw that it was 9:30pm sharp. In that moment, I took a long breath and remained calm closing my eyes. I really had no idea what to do after that but I stayed that the way I am.
At that moment, I felt the urge to yawn and as I yawned for some seconds, I heard car horns and noises of people around me and as I quickly opened my eyes, I found myself in the streets of Yaba. I was astounded that I had returned back to Lagos and the most shocking thing was as I checked my watch, the time was still 9:30pm sharp, not a second had passed.
While I was still amazed by what I’ve done, the female detective that I discussed with at the agency days ago approached me and asked if I was alright.

Lola ➡ Mr. Ade.
.

Ade ➡ Huh?
.

Lola ➡ Are you alright?
.

Ade ➡ I’m fine, I’m fine. What brings you here?
.

Lola ➡ I’m just taking a night stroll to get some fresh air. I hope you’re not working by this time.
.

Ade ➡ I am actually.
.

Lola ➡ Well, Good luck.. Oh and that reminds me.. Any leads about my report?
.

Ade ➡ I’m still working on it.
.

Lola ➡ Please let me know if you find anything.
.

Ade ➡ I’ll be sure to do that.
.

Lola ➡ Good night private.
.

Ade ➡ Good night detective.
