I gasped at the thug in front of me.

He’s definitely a thug, he’s huge, dirty and he smelt of cigarette.

“an iPhone ” he smirked as he examined my phone.

“I’m gonna take this ” he said and put it in his back pocket.

“now gimme money ” he commanded.

“I don’t have any money with me ” I said.

I’d left my bag in the car so no money was with me.

“are you playing games with me ” he asked sternly.

I was already shaking from the way he talks and looks at me.

What happened to me?

The Tatiana I used to be can defend myself from all these but I think living the life of a rich girl has changed me completely.

“hey Raymond ” we heard a voice behind us.

I turned to see a girl with black hair, pretty big eyes and small l-ips.

“you know you should stop harassing people, especially women ” she picked a stick as she came closer to us.

“you ” she touched the thug’s chest with the chest.

“give her back her phone ” she said softly.

The thug which I now know to be Raymond, smirked.

She laughed and the next thing she did surprised me.

She kicked him where the sun doesn’t rise and he winced in pain.

She took his left hand, twisted it to the back and gave him a blow on his jaw.

She shook her hand in his pocket and brought out my phone.

“leave ” she commanded and Raymond staggered away.

“this belongs to you ” she stretched my phone to me.

I nodded with a smile and took it.

I can’t believe a girl had beaten up a huge thug like that.

“who’s he ” I asked.

“oh! He’s just Raymond, he goes around taking people’s stuff like he did to you ” she said and I breathed out an “oh”.

“thanks ” I said.

“it’s nothing ” she smiled.

“no it’s something, you just saved me ” I remarked and she giggled.

Awwwn she’s so cute.

“what’s your name ” I asked.

“Faye ” she replied.

“I’m Lanna Delacruz ” I said and shook her hand.

“so who do you live with ” I asked.

“with my my parents ” she replied bluntly and I smiled.

“you live there ” I pointed at the bungalow the woman had earlier entered and she nodded.

Now that’s the same house the woman entered and she was acting suspicious.

I think she knows about the lost girl or is she the one in front of me?

“are…. “I was saying but trailed off when we heard “Faye “.

“yes mom ” she replied as the woman walked to us.

“I sent you on an errand and you’re still here ” she yelled and Faye covered her mouth with her hand.

“sorry mom, I’ll go right away ” she said and ran away.

“hey wait ” I tried to stop her but she had already ran off.

“what do you want with her ” the woman asked in an harsh tone.

“nothing, I just wanna… ” I was saying but trailed off when she signaled with her hand for me to shut up.

“I know you rich people, you find some middle class people to oppress but you can’t do that with my daughter. Stay away from Faye ” she warned and went in.

I took up my ringing phone and answered it.

“yes Brian”

“where are you Lanna, we’ve been here more than an hour now but you’re still not here ” Brian said over the phone.

“I’ll be there in few minutes ” I said and hung up.

I took a last glance at the bungalow before leaving.

That bungalow just reminded me of our house.

I have to go see my mom in the cemetery.

I don’t even think my dad was properly buried.

How do I know where he was buried?

A tear slid down my cheek but I quickly wiped it off.

I hoped to see Faye on my way going but didn’t see her.

I arrived at the s₱0t where I’d say we should meet and met Brian and Johanna.

“let’s go ” I told them without looking at them and they scurried behind me.

We boarded my car and Brian drove off.

We arrived and alighted.

I entered the house to see Leo on the couch.

The anger deep in,side me, burned and I marched to where he was.

“why didn’t you tell me you couldn’t handle the contract ” I yelled and his happy face saddened.

“because of you we lost the company ” I yelled angrily.

“Lanna calm down” he said softly.

“calm down? You want me to clam down ” I asked unbelievably.

“we didn’t lose the contract” he said and I was now eager to know what he was talking about.

“I’m Sean Donovan ” he blurted out and my eyes slowly w¡dened.

“oh my God ” I said trying to suppress the happiness in my voice but I failed miserably as everyone could see I was happy.

“I hid my identity cause of the Buenevistas. They might come after me and when they see I’m still the same man dating Sasha, they’d not allow it so I had to hide my ID ” he explained and we clapped for him.

“what a brilliant move ” I complimented.

“thank you milady ” he said.

He handed me the doc-ments of the company and he had already transferred everything to my name.

“sorry for doubting your capabilities ” I apologized.

“I didn’t tell you before hand so no qualms but we’ve gat to believe in each other ” he said and we all nodded in agreement.

Now we have the company and also the Buenevistas will pay for the money they borrowed with interest.

What a great loss to them.

We all went to our room to tidy up afterwards.

After freshening up, I ordered sushi 🍣 and we all ate.

We already have our meeting room with a table.

We went there and they all sat while I sat at the edge as the leader.

“still on the lost Buenevista, I think we have a suspect who could know her ” I said.

“there was a woman acting suspicious when I showed her the pic of the missing little girl, she claimed she didn’t know her but I sensed she was lying. She has a daughter Faye and that’s the only thing I know about her for now. I know their house too” I said.

“then that’s our target now, the woman” Brian said and I nodded.

“but I think if we wanna know anything, we have to speak to Faye cause she seems jovial ” I suggested.

“Leo, you have to see Sasha to continue our plans and Johanna, you too ” I said and they both nodded.

“Brian can you plant a camera in the Buenevistas mansion ” I asked and he almost choked on his breath.

We chuckled and he gave us a glare.

“OK I’ll do that myself just work on the cameras and I’ll plant them there, they have to be very small ” I said and he nodded.

“I’ll work on it tonight ” he assured.

“after planting the cameras, I’ll go to the town with Brian cause that area is full of bad boys while Leo and Johanna will continue their plan with Rinaldo and Sasha ” I said.

“I’ll go to the town with Brian so we can talk to Faye”.

After the meeting, we all went to sleep.

I wouldn’t say all cause Brian must be working on the cameras.

I woke up the next day and tidied up.

We had breakfast together and Brian gave me 10 little cameras.

“why 10” I asked.

“one for each room and others for places like the sitting room and kitchen” he said.

“OK ” I said.

“I don’t know how I’ll get Rinaldo out ” Johnna pouted.

“don’t you have his number ” Leo asked.

“that bastard wouldn’t give me ” she said.

“that’s no prob, I’ll get it for you ” Brian said.

That’s for being a computer wizard.

“I already have Sasha’s number so bye ” Leo said and walked out.

There’s something wrong about Leo.

There’s always something off with him.

I just can’t put my fingers on it.

I need to talk to him.

I boarded my car and drove to the Buenevistas to plant the cameras.

I arrived and alighted.

I walked to the porch and rang the bell.

A maid opened it and bowed then let me in.

The sitting room was empty so I walked to a couch and sat.

“I’ll go call sir George ” the maid said.

“no need, just return to your work, I’ll give him a call that I’m here ” I said and she nodded then left.

She left and I sprung up to my feet.

I went to the vase in the sitting room and planted a camera.

I moved to another side of the sitting room and planted a camera beside the hand of a couch.

Now I have two cameras in the sitting room.

Kitchen!

I still know my way to the kitchen.

I walked there and entered.

I was stunned to still see Dora.

She was kinda old with strands of grey hair.

I walked to her and smiled at her.

“I need a glass of water ” I said and she smiled then went to the fridge.

I stuck a camera under the kitchen cabinet, drank the water and walked out.

I walked down the corridor, ready to stick a camera but froze when I heard “what are you doing “.

I’ve not even finished my work and I’m already caught.

Busted!
