🏹 EPISODE 7 🏹
💥 Nyla’s POV 💥
I slowly opened my eyes as the sun shone on my face
I looked around, the others are awake too
We couldn’t find Helga’s warriors so we spent the night in the woods
Lyra walked towards me and sat one the rock beside me
“Hey, did you sleep well, were you able to get rid of the guilt of killing Xanthos?” Lyra asked
“There’s no guilt, I only did what was necessary” I replied
“Look Nyla, I know you are the Queen’s daughter and she asked you to lead this mission but that gives you no right to kill anyone of us so the next time you try such reckless mistake, I’ll kill you myself” she said and walked away and I scoffed
Weak and emotional fools, they are all weak that’s why they’ll forever remain underdogs to me and my Mom
I stood up from the ground and took my sword
“We’ve rested enough, let’s start searching for them now” I said and they all stood up
“Who are you searching for?” I heard a small calm voice say behind me and I turned to look
“Who are you?” I asked
“Hi, am Tristan” …
💥 Elsie’s POV 💥
We ran out of the cave back to the Island’s surface and we all slumped on the ground
“Is… Is Leo really gone?” Kali stammered
But no one answered her, cause we are all asking ourselves the same question
Is he really gone?
“I shouldn’t have brought him here, I shouldn’t have asked him to risk his life, it’s all my fault, all my fault” I said as a tear rolled down my eyes
“How is it your fault, I told you to stop taking responsibility for everyone” Gia said
“It’s my fault Gia, he didn’t want to come here but I made him come”
“It’s not your fault!!” Gia yelled
“It is Gia!!” I yelled back “don’t you see, I brought you all here, I brought Leo to his death, am a bad person Gia, I forgot everyone and went away and I only came back when I needed you guys”
“Fine believe whatever you want, you know what? You are even right, you left us all and only remembered when you needed us, you a selfish, greedy and self-centered sister!” She said
“You think I don’t know?!!” I yelled “I know my faults Gia but am human afterall, I make mistakes but is it so hard to for you to forgive me?!” I asked
“Never, I’ll never….”
“Enough!” Erik yelled “I’ve heard enough of your arguments, you can say whatever you want to say to yourselves when we are out of this Island but for now can you all just be quiet, you disrespecting Leo by arguing right after his death”

We stayed silent for sometime, then Kiara stood up
“We’ve got to keep moving, it’s obviously this Island is enchanted, the longer we stay here the more dangerous it is, I think we owe it to Leo to find the sword, his death mustn’t be in vain” Kiara said
“We all came here prepared and we are ready to face whatever the Island has in store for us because we aren’t fighting for ourselves, we fighting for ours kingdom and the lives of the people so get Elsie, get up everyone we can’t afford to be weak now” Kali said standing up
“You are right” Erik said as he stood up too “am ready for anything, I came here with no fear, I came here ready for death”
“We are fighting for something much bigger than us so we won’t back down, we’ll get sword no matter what” Gia said
I sighed and then finally
“You are all right, this isn’t the time to get weak, as we waste time here, the Ice Queen continues to destroy our kingdoms so we can’t afford to waste anymore time. Leo is dead and we can’t do anything to bring him back but we can learn from our mistakes, we underrated this Island, this place is enchanted, we must be more careful from now, trust no one apart from the five of us, we must stick together to the end cause I don’t want to loose anyone again” I said
“Do you have any idea where the sword is in the Island?” Erik asked
“The Island is filled with caves and it is said that the mystical sword is in one of the caves so we just have keep searching all the caves we come across” I said
“Let’s go then, like you said, we can’t afford to waste anymore time” Kiara said and I nodded

💥 Ice Queen’s POV 💥
I sat in my chamber waiting for Castor to return
He went with the warriors to ambush the Helga and her remaining army in the camp
I smiled quietly, this is the end for you Helga, you won’t be able to escape this time
I heard many footsteps and I knew they were back
Castor came in and bowed
“Where’s Helga, did you capture her alive or did you bring me her head?” I asked
“Am sorry my Queen, they escaped, we were tricked” Castor said
“What!! Tricked!!”
“There was never an underground tunnel my Queen, Helga made it up just to make us leave our posts, they were aware of our arrival and they hid near the entrance, immediately we went into the camp they rushed out and escaped” Castor said
“What!!”
“Forgive me for my incompetence my Queen, I should have known that there was no underground tunnel”
“So they escaped? All of them?” I asked
“We only managed to catch the army General, he was inside one of the tents with a sword ready to fight us, seems he wasn’t in support of Helga’s plan to retreat so he stayed behind” Castor replied
“Bring him to me” I said and Castor bowed then ran out
Moments later he was back with the General and he made him kneel in front of me
“Where did Helga go?” I asked
“Why would I tell you” the general said and I scoffed
I stood up from my seat and squat beside him holding his chin
“This is the wrong time to be playing with my patience General, so I’ll ask one last time, where did Helga go?” I said as I pressed his chin and made it to start freezing up
He endured for some moments and the ice was going up to his eyes
“Ha… Hatian Empire” he managed to say and I pushed him to the ground as I stood up
“Lock him up in the dungeon, I’ll have some use for him later on” I said and Castor bowed and then dragged the general out of my chamber
Their army retreated, Midland is mine now but am not satisfied, Helga is still alive so my next target is Hatian Empire…
💥 Nyla’s POV 💥
“Am an orphan, i live alone here” Tristan said
“That’s impossible this place is abandoned and isolated” Korax said
“It’s okay if you don’t trust me, it will actually be foolish to trust a lone kid in an abandoned Island” Tristan said
“I think we should believe him” Theron said
“Shut up Theron, what do you know” Zita said and then looked at me “should we just kill him?” She asked
“No one is killing anyone” Lyra said and walked close to the kid
“Tristan, have you seen anyone in this Island apart from us?” Lyra asked him
“No” he answered
“Then what about a sword? Do you know any place where a sword is in this Island?” I asked
“I don’t know but there’s a place that’s filled with lots of treasures maybe the sword might be among” Tristan said
“Take us there” I said
“Follow me then” Tristan said and we all followed him
We entered a cave and he kept moving forward
Korax suddenly walked forward and held Tristan’s hand, then he placed his hand on his chest
“What are you doing?” I asked
“Let’s get out of here” he said
“What?”
“Now!!!” He yelled and they all rushed and I followed them from behind
It’s obvious they all afraid of Korax, he is vicious and he’s not like any of us, he’s skilled in arrows and he’s an elf
We walked out of the cave though Tristan didn’t follow us, I wonder why
“What was that about!” I yelled “he was going to show us where the sword is!!” I said and he scoffed
“This place was playing a trick on us, the boy didn’t have a pulse nor heartbeat, you took after the Queen’s fierceness but it seems you don’t have her wits” Korax said
“What?!”
“Let’s go guys” he said as he started moving
I drew my sword and pointed it him
“Who do you think you are to talk to me like that, I am the leader here, am the Queen’s daughter and you should show me some respect” I said and he laughed
“I owe you no respect Nyla, am not one of your mother’s warriors, am an elf and a bounty Hunter and I’ve only been working for your mother because she pays the highest, am not bound to be loyal like the rest of you so lower your sword, you and I know that you can’t kill me and don’t overstep your boundaries, the next time you point a sword at me, I won’t hesitate to rip your throat out” he said and walked out and the others followed him…
💥 Elsie’s POV 💥
We walked into an empty and silent cave
“This cave is cold, it’s giving me chills” Kiara said
We kept walking deeper into the cave searching for the sword
Then we suddenly heard a rumbling sound
“Did you hear that?” Gia asked
Rocks started falling from nowhere and we quickly moved apart to the other side of the wall
I was with Kiara on one side, Gia was with Kali on another side Erik was alone on another side of the cave wall
The rock continued following forming a wall and separating us
“Gia! Kali! Erik!” I yelled as I moved forward but Kiara held
“Stay still Elsie or you’ll get hit by the rocks” she said
The rocks stop falling but it already formed a strong wall separating us all….
