“Don’t touch me, if you hate her I will hate you too” Dan shouted in his babyish tone.

“What? Did you really want to hate me?” Mrs. Walter asked.

“Yes, I will hate anyone who hate my mother” Dan cried.

Mrs. Walter look at him and took a deep breath. She move closer to Dan and cuddle him.

“This boy is really stubborn like Khalid. I just need to act smart” Mrs. Walter thought.

Khalid POV
“Dason are you aware that Nina lost her voice, she can’t speak and it was confirmed by the doctor she was given injection” I said eating.

“What! Oh my goodness. Now I understand why she can’t even say a word to me when I went to visit her. She was crying but wouldn’t say anything. I really felt for her and her mother. The woman is blind and will be missing her a lot” Dason said pitiably.

“Nina mum is blind, she has always live her life just to take care of her. So I don’t think she do that.

And why would anybody want to make her lost her voice?” Dason asked.

“You guys are putting me in total darkness. I don’t seem to understand what’s going on here” Maddy said.

“A slap that will be good right?” Maddy said smiling.

Leo wasn’t saying anything, being quiet is strange. I decided to watch him closely.

And I realized his attention was in Clara. Probably eating her up.

Oh my goodness, is this stupid guy going to make it obvious without confessing his feeling to her. I decided to distract him.

“Leo we are leaving soon” I said.

“Huh! Okay” He chuckled.

“So you all are eating breakfast without me, right?” Mum asked coming from upstairs.

“We thought you might want to eat with Evan so we don’t wanna disturb you” Maddy replied with a smirk.

“I am sorry ma, I will serve you” Jasmine said standing up. I pray she didn’t get on my nerve this morning.

I think I should be a little calm maybe what Jasmine said might work. Who knows! I decided to do something silly but I wink at Jasmine before doing it.

I just wanted to see if my mother cares.

“Leo you should be quick” I said eating my my food horribly.

“Khalid do you wanna choke yourself. Don’t you know that’s too much” Mum bawled.

“Mrs. Walter please spare me this morning “I warned.

“I said you should stop choking yourself, what wrong have I done now. Do you want to kill yourself? I promised your father to take care of you and see you progress so I won’t watch you kill yourself” She shouted.

“Khalid she’s right, you are choking yourself” Leo said.

“If you don’t want to heed then I will leave so you can eat peacefully since you hate me” She sat, and wanna stand up.

“No mum, you should eat something. I will slow down” I said and smiled at her.

“Do you know you are just like weather, you change? Sometimes you called me mother while sometimes Mrs. Walter. You are just too unbelievable” She smiled.

So she want me progress but yet she’s the one bringing me down trying to force me to marry Evan. I think it will take time for me and her to understand each other. Fire can’t quench fire.

“I will leave now, Leo common let’s go” I said standing up. I went closer to Jasmine who was dishing out mum food.

I stood beside her.

“What?” She signal me. I smiled and allow her to be done. I dragged her closer and dug my hand around her wa-ist.

“What, please stop this everyone is watching” She tried to release herself.

“They will understand” I smiled and k-ssed her neck.

“What nonsense is this Khalid, are you shameless” Mum shouted.

I moved closer to her. “What happened?” I asked and took my head close to hers.

“I won’t tolerate it from you” She whispered.

“Learn to tolerate it, bye Mum” I peck her cheek.

She touch her cheek with so much surprised, it was written all over her face.

“He’s just too full of surprises” She muttered but it was so audible enough for everyone to hear.

Jasmine and Clara were in the kitchen cleaning when Evan get there. Clara was the first to sight her.

“What do you want?” She asked angrily and faced her.

“Can you please excuse me? I didn’t come for you. So leave my way “Evan said.

“You must be here for me? “Jasmine asked coming closer.

“Yes you are right” Evan replied with a smile.

“What can I do to help you poor child” Jasmine asked, and Evan laughed.

“Why are crying?” Jasmine asked.

“Because I’m feeling pity for you, I can see how determine you are to win her over. Don’t you think that’s not a waste of time? I am not nice but I am able to win her over. Poor Jasmine won’t be able to take her mother, no our mother in-law hatred” Evan laughed. Jasmine smirks.

“I just wonder if you are a human or some kind of animal. You are a bullshit. The earlier the better, if you retrace your step now” Jasmine hissed and leave the kitchen.

“I think you should know that your time will be over soon. So it will be better for you if you start to pack your bags before I will help you do that.

You can leave this kitchen now, because I won’t want you to poison anything and then put the blame on me.

I am very sure you are the one behind Nina predicament. I doubted it the day you stopped us from eating. I know someone like you will never want to save us, not to talk of your rival, Jasmine” Clara hissed and continue with what she’s doing.

“How dare you?” Evan growl and grip her neck.

“Let go of me, you brat” Clara shouted trying to release herself from the grip. She succeed in releasing herself, and she and Evan turn in a big fight.

Jasmine and some maid heard there voice and ran to the kitchen. On seeing this jasmine joined hand with Clara to beat Evan instead of separating them.

Maddy also ran into the kitchen and see this. She smile and dance instead. She also used that opportunity to video them.

“Please don’t fight again” She laughed, and moved closer. She kicked Evan.

“What’s going on here” Mrs. Walter asked coming in,side the kitchen.

Jasmine, Clara and Maddy start to scratch their head. Evan wanted to talk but Maddy speak before she could say a word.

“Mum, I came to the kitchen to get something from Clara and Evan came in, I wanted to walk out but she dragged me back and said if I didn’t see her.

I tried to avoid her but she hit me in my stomach. And I fell on the ground. Jasmine then asked her to apologized but she was stubborn that she refused and slap her.

That’s what lead to the fight. My stomach hurt” Maddy shouted holding her stomach.

Her mum rushed to hold her.

“Don’t tell me you really do this? Why?” Mrs. Walter asked angrily.

“Trust me ma, I will never want to do such thing. Khalid is so special to me, and I will never want to hurt his sister” Evan shed crocodile tears.

Mrs. Walter look confused.

“Khalid is special to everyone, so don’t used that as an excuse. A snake will always be a snake” Jasmine said fuming.

“Who asked” Mrs. Walter couldn’t complete her statement when Maddy shouted.

“My stomach, it hurt” Maddy fall on the floor.

“Common, let’s go to your room” Mrs. Walter helped her up and they headed towards the door.

Maddy wink and give Jasmine and Clara thumps up. She pulled her tongue out at Evan and smile without her mother knowing.

“Shit!” Evan managed to get up. And rushed out of the kitchen.

“I felt relived after beating her. I have always wish we had a good fight since she came to this house and today it happens” Clara said.

“You’re injure, I think you should be more careful next time so that she won’t hurt you. I still feel like beating her more” Jasmine said checking Clara face.

Khalid POV
My phone beep. It was Maddy.

“Hello baby boy, check you mail. I sent you something. I know you will like it” She said and hanged up.

She could be so funny sometime. I wonder what she sent. I quickly went to my mail.

“A video” I muttered and opened it. “What’s this” I shouted on seeing it.

Just that minute Leo barged in as usual.

“Did Maddy sent you a mail?” He asked.

“Yes, I just watched it now. Evan is crossing her limit. I think is time I take strict step she won’t like. I will take Dan from her forever” I said with my spirit boiling.

“You are right. But how do you see the fight. Jasmine is very strong, I can see the way she was attacking her unstopped” Leo laughed.

“Are you happy they fought?” I asked.

“Hey! You are being boring right now. Is there any time they never fought before. I think they feel relieved after the fight. Is so cool, Maddy is really amazing to have video them. Bravo” He smiled.

“Whatever, I also root for her and Clara. Clara must be very happy. I know what she passed through living with that fool. But they need to be careful when mum is around, and we shouldn’t praise them for this either” I said, and took my phone to pass a call across to Jasmine.

“Well it’s good you know now. You stole him from me, and I just did what’s right. And I won’t stop until he’s mine, and no one else. Do you think you will last with him with Steve son. No that wouldn’t happen”Emma shouted angrily.
