ALPHA DOROTHY
(The First Female Alpha)
✨ Chapter 1✨
Dorothy Alan alighted from her exotic car and walked into the mansion that was built as the pack house.
Her mother died when she was barely seven and her father is on his sick bed now.
Although Dorothy knows her father might not survive the sickness, she never let it get to her. She still has that aura around her that makes everyone bow in fear at just the mention of her name.
As seventeen years old Dorothy walked inside, every living thing she came across bowed respectfully to her. Whether young or old, male or female, no one dared to look Dorothy in the eyes.
They all feared her and treated her like a god. No one dares say a word even if she was doing the wrong thing.
Her father that birthed her even has to think twice before saying anything to her. That’s just how much Dorothy is feared in Yellow Stone Pack.
She walked straight into the room where her father was taking treatment and met him alone. He was staring into space with so many things going on in his mind.
What troubled him the most was who the next Alpha of the pack would be. He tried getting his wife pregnant before she died so they could have a male child at least but it was all to no avail.
He thought of making his Beta the next Alpha but for anyone to become an Alpha, he needs to have an Alpha’s blood running through his vein and so far, Dorothy is the only one in the pack who has that blood in her veins.
“Dad” Dorothy called and sat beside him
“My darling daughter, how are you doing?” Alpha Juan asked with a small smile which was filled with sadness
“Don’t worry about me dad. You will be fine right? You promised me you won’t leave me now, you said you will try to stay alive until I find my mate. You will keep your promise right?”Dorothy implored even though she knew the answer
The answer was crystal clear and every member of the pack knew it too. The sickness was deadly and Alpha Juan had become weak.
If he even manages to survive for a month, then it means he’s very strong-willed and the Moon goddess took pity on him.
“Dorothy, how will you handle the pack when I’m gone?” Alpha Juan asked instead
“What are you saying, Dad? You are still alive so don’t think about this right now. When you grow old, we will talk about it again” Dorothy said
She might have succeeded in instilling fear in the heart of every single member of the pack but she still has a soft heart and she especially loves her parents more than anything in the world.
“Dorothy, can you stay with me throughout today? I just want to stare at your face” Alpha Juan said
He could feel the life slowly slipping out of him and he knew that he might not even last for two days so spending his last moment with Dorothy would be the best thing to do.
“Sure father, I won’t leave your side for even a second” Dorothy said and held on tightly to his hands
She fell asleep while holding his hands and when she woke up, it was evening already.
“Dad, let me get dinner for us” she said to Alpha Juan who was staring at her with sadness in his eyes
“Sure. I should at least have a last meal with you” he mumbled the last part to himself
Dorothy who was only concerned about taking care of her father left to get dinner for them. When she returned, they ate together and Dorothy didn’t stop cracking jokes to make her Dad laugh.
“Dad, will I be sleeping here?” Dorothy asked as she sat beside Alpha Juan who lay on the bed

“Yes, I want you to be with me till morning” he said
“But why Dad? You’re scaring me” Dorothy said
“I just want to be with my daughter, is that too much to ask?” Juan asked
“No Dad, I will stay with you”
She kissed his forehead and went to the small bed that was right inside the room.
At night, Dorothy couldn’t sleep. She kept checking up on her father to see if he was alright and she soon fell asleep when it was almost morning.
“Good morning Dad” Dorothy greeted as she stretched herself
There was no response from her dad, a dead silence greeted her instead.
“Dad, are you still sleeping?” Dorothy giggled and finally stood up from her bed
She walked towards her dad and saw that his eyes were closed.
“Why is he sleeping like this anyway?” she muttered and tried to adjust his hands but was surprised to see them fall back lifelessly
“Dad, open your eyes” she panicked
He looked lifeless and his body was beginning to turn cold, scaring the hell out of Dorothy.
“Help me! Someone, please call the doctor” she screamed as tears rolled down her cheeks
Some of the guards came running in to see what was wrong with her but they left to call the doctor when they saw the condition the Alpha was in.
The doctor soon arrived and he checked Alpha Juan’s body. He didn’t have to spend much time before he knew that the Alpha was dead but he didn’t know how to break the news to poor Dorothy.
“Doctor, how is my dad? He’s fine, right? I knew it. I knew he would never leave me alone so soon” Dorothy said with a teary smile
“Uhm! Dorothy?” the doctor called
Even though he felt bad for Dorothy, he couldn’t hide her father’s death from her.
“Yes, doctor?” Dorothy quickly answered and moved closer to him
“I’m sorry to say this but…..” the doctor said and paused with a sigh
“But?” she asked anxiously
“Your Dad is gone. He has gone to join his ancestors” the doctor said
“My dad is…..? What are you saying?” Dorothy asked confusedly
“I know it’s hard to accept but that’s the truth. Your dad has left this world” the doctor said sadly
“No, he can’t leave me. He promised that he won’t leave me so soon. I don’t believe you, move out of my way” she said and pushed the doctor away
“Dad! Dad!! Dad!! You can’t do this to me dad. Open your eyes! Open your eyes and tell me that you’re still here with me.
You promised to never leave me right? How can you break your promise like this? Dad please open your eyes” she shouted as loud as she could with tears streaming down her face
It was indeed a sad day for Yellow stone pack. The Alpha of the second strongest pack had just died but there was no heir whatsoever to take over from where he stopped.
