ALPHA DOROTHY
(The First Female Alpha)
✨ Chapter 2✨
All the pack members were currently gathered in the mansion. It was a very sad day for them as the Alpha and head of the pack had died.
Alpha Juan was the leader of the second strongest Alpha pack but he wasn’t cold-hearted. He had a warm heart and always treated his pack members fairly which made everyone love him.
Dorothy sat in the big hall but her mind and brain were blank. She couldn’t think clearly and she couldn’t even cry anymore because she had been crying for a long time.
The pack members were sad because they lost their Alpha but some of them were scared to see Dorothy in that condition.
They knew how she was, but seeing her just staring into space like that sent goosebumps all over them.
Dorothy on the other hand found it hard to believe that her dad was really gone. She tried to pinch herself several times so she could wake up from the nightmare she was in but nothing changed.
Her dad was going to be buried tomorrow and will be mourned for 30 days as the Alpha of the pack.
Dorothy suddenly rose from her seat and left the mansion. Everyone curiously watched her to see what she was going to do, but they were surprised when she got into her car and drove off.
“Why do you think she drove away like that? Do you think something is wrong?” one of them asked
“What if she thinks of committing suicide?” another member asked with a gasp
“Dorothy is a strong girl so I don’t think she will do something as naive as committing suicide” someone else said
“I know right?”
They said different things among themselves about why she suddenly left but as usual, no one could guess the exact reason why she left. She loves doing things mysteriously and doesn’t make any effort to explain anything to anyone.
Dorothy on the other hand drove to the beach. If there’s one thing that calms her down, it’s the waves on the beach but she doubted if even the wave would be able to calm her down.
When she lost her Mom back then, she refused to eat for four days and four nights. She locked herself up in her room and if not that her dad asked them to break down the doors, she probably would have died then.
Although she was just a kid back then she was still scared that she might do something like that again and that’s why she decided to go to the beach.
“Mom, Dad! Why did you leave me alone in this cruel world at such a tender age? You could have waited until I had a mate already. At least I would be in someone’s care by then. Why did you leave me all alone?!!!” she screamed as hot tears poured down her cheeks like rainfall
After crying for over an hour, she got into her car and drove back to the mansion. Anyone that sees her would know she has cried her eyes out because she looked miserable.
Her hair was scattered all over her face and her eyes were puffy and red. The mighty Dorothy Alan looked so helpless that no one would even believe she’s am Alpha’s daughter.
“Where have you been My Lady? We’ve been looking all over for you” the council members said as soon as she got down from her car
They had been waiting for when her car will drive into the compound after searching for her tirelessly.
“I want to be alone in my room. Any maidservant and soldier that loves their lives should on no account knock on my room door” Dorothy finally said as she proceeded to her room
The council members who knew what happened ten years ago were scared of such repeating itself so they blocked her path.
“We can’t let you stay alone in your room My Lady. It’s dangerous for you to stay alone, please choose a maidservant to go with you” they pleaded
“As I said, any maidservant that doesn’t value her life can come with me” Dorothy repeated and went into her room, ignoring the pleas from the pack members
The maidservants who were scared of losing their lives when they still had a long way ahead of them, quietly left the place and returned to their quarters.
*Moon Valley Pack*
Alpha Xavier was seated on the Royal throne in the big hall. The throne was made of gold and diamond worth hundreds of millions.
His father recently passed away three months ago and he was crowned as the next Alpha, being the only son of his father.
His Beta and best friend, Jack Logan stood beside him while the soldiers were five feet away from him.
“Have you all heard the news? Alpha Juan is dead and he left without an heir. What a pitiful situation” Xavier said in a mocking tone
“The pack must be in chaos right now. His only daughter, Dorothy Alan won’t be able to do anything. After all, she’s just a woman” an elder of the council said
“So I’ve made up my mind. I will be attending Alpha Juan’s burial tomorrow. I have to see with my own eyes, how his pack becomes divided. It will be a sight to behold.
From now on, I don’t have to worry about having to compete with any pack. We will always be number one on the list without having to strive hard” Xavier said with a smile
They talked about important things regarding the pack and finally, the meeting came to an end.
“Xavier, why do you hate Yellow Stone pack so much? They’ve never done anything to hurt you right?” Jack asked Xavier when they were alone
Whenever they’re amid the pack members, he refers to Xavier as Alpha but when they’re alone, he addresses him by his name.
“They’ve not done anything to hurt me personally but they’ve always hurt my pride. Why must they be almost the same as my pack? I hate the fact that they always bruise my ego” Xavier said angrily
“You should really learn to tolerate others. Not everyone will fall at your feet because just like you’re a werewolf, there are many werewolves out there.
You can’t always be at the top all the time. There are times when you might be second or third. I’ve explained to you countless times but you never listen” Jack said with a sigh
“Enough with your lectures. I have a burial to attend tomorrow so I need all the rest I can get” Xavier dismissed Jack and lay in his bed, waiting patiently for the next day
*Next day*
The day to bury the Alpha of the Yellow Stone pack is finally here. A lot of distinguished men and women in the state were arriving for the burial.
Alpha Juan was not just a powerful Alpha. He was also very rich and well-known all over the country. He had companies in different countries and you won’t even suspect that he’s a werewolf unless you’re a werewolf yourself.
He was dignified and well-respected throughout the state so lots of important personalities were present.
The burial took place in another mansion, different from the one used for the pack’s meeting. Dorothy didn’t want to risk people finding out that they were supernatural beings.
The invited guests were all present and a guard was about to close the gate when Alpha Xavier’s car came in.
The entire member of the Yellow Stone pack wondered who the uninvited guest was and they all watched keenly as he got down from the car.

Dorothy stared at the car that had graced her father’s burial without invitation. She wanted to see who dared to go against her orders.
She had strictly passed the information that only guests with the invitation card are allowed to come in. Whoever was in the car was openly going against her.
Alpha Xavier got down from the car in his glory and stared at the magnificent building before him. It was his first time entering the mansion and he wasn’t expecting something so exquisite.
He knew of course that Alpha Juan was a wealthy man but he honestly wasn’t expecting this.
“If this was just Alpha Juan’s mansion, how big will the pack’s mansion be then?” he thought to himself
“Who is he?” Dorothy asked the maidservant standing beside her
“He’s the new Alpha of Moon Valley Pack, Alpha Xavier” the maid answered politely
“Alpha Xavier? Moon Valley Pack? I don’t remember sending an invitation card to him so what is he doing here?” Dorothy asked angrily
“We are also shocked to see him here My Lady but we have to let it be today. It’s your father’s burial and we can’t create a scene right now” the maid managed to stutter
Dorothy stared at Xavier one last time and went to the part of the house where the burial was taking place.
The party soon started and everyone was mourning the death of a powerful man. Some mourned him as an Alpha while others mourned him as a rich business tycoon.
Alpha Juan was barely forty-eight years old when he passed away so lots of people cried and cried about his sudden death.
It was a sad day for everyone as he was finally laid to rest in peace. As soon as the party was over, Dorothy went to the parking lot intending to leave the mansion in her car but she met Xavier.
“Sorry about your father’s death, accept my condolences” Xavier said
“Well, you can keep your condolences to yourself ’cause I don’t need it. I never invited you here in the first place so leave while you still can” Dorothy said rudely and got into her car
As soon as she left, Xavier scoffed in disbelief at what she just said to him.
“How old is that brat and who does she think she is to talk to me in that manner?” he asked himself
“I can now understand the reason why I hated the Yellow stone pack without even meeting any of their members. If the Alpha’s daughter is so rude, then the members would be worse” he muttered
“Dorothy Alan is really something and I must accolade her for her boldness. I was thinking I would be able to watch them struggle for power today but it didn’t happen. They were in order and seemed to be controlled by someone but who could that be?” he thought to himself and finally got into his car
Dorothy on the other hand was so angry that she felt she was going to explode in flames. The reason why she left the burial so quickly was because of Xavier.
She hated the fact that he dared her and her hatred towards him grew even bigger.
*A month later*
The pack mourned their Alpha for thirty days straight as per the traditions of the Yellow stone pack. The mourning period was finally over and it was time to crown a new Alpha.
A meeting was called by the council members and Dorothy made sure to grace the meeting.
“This meeting was called for us to decide on our new Alpha” a council member stated
“As we all know, Alpha Juan never gave birth to a male offspring and the Beta is no longer with us so we don’t really have a specific candidate to take up the position.
We have decided to choose one out of the competent men among us as our new Alpha while the Beta’s son will become our new Beta”
“You want to choose someone that doesn’t have an Alpha’s blood running through his vein as the new Alpha?” Dorothy asked with a straight face
“W…we don’t have a choice” the members stuttered
“You don’t have a choice? Are you saying Alpha Juan didn’t have any offspring before he died?” she asked
“H… he had a female offspring” they stammered
“Whether it was a male or female offspring doesn’t matter. As long as she has the Alpha’s blood in her vein, it means she’s qualified to be the next Alpha” she said sternly
“That’s absurd! How can we choose a female to be our Alpha?”
“You’re right! A male has always led us and we can’t change that now”
The council members said a lot of things while Dorothy just watched them with a smirk on her face.
“Are you done? If you are, then get ready to welcome your newest Alpha in the next seven days. If anyone has a problem with Alpha Juan’s child taking over the position of Alpha, let him tell that to the Moon goddess. I don’t have that much patience so don’t try me. Good day” Dorothy concluded and left, leaving the council members distraught
*Moon Valley pack*
Xavier has been waiting for the news about the Yellow stone pack’s new Alpha but so far, no important news has been heard.
They just finished the thirty days of mourning for their Alpha so he decided to wait for ten more days and see if an Alpha was really going to be chosen.
“Why are you so interested in Yellow stone pack these days?” Jack, his Beta asked him
“I want to see the downfall of the pack that I hate so much, that’s all. If they fall apart, I won’t have to compete with anyone and our pack will remain the strongest” he said
“Why do I feel like there’s more to it?” Jack teased
“What? Are you trying to say I’m interested in Dorothy?” Xavier asked
“I never said that but seeing as you’ve just said it yourself, you must be interested in her. I never knew she was your taste, should I get her for you” he asked with a smile
“What are you saying now? Why would I be interested in my enemy? Just get out” Xavier said
“Of course, I was about to leave already” Jack giggled and left
“Interested in her my foot. Who will be interested in that rude and arrogant lady?” Xavier asked himself after Jack left
“I just hate her guts and how she thinks she has everyone and everything wrapped around her fingers” he added and went to bed.
*Seven days later*
“Have you heard the news?” Jack asked Xavier
“There is so much news nowadays so I don’t know which exactly you’re talking about” Xavier shrugged
“Well, it’s about the Yellow stone pack” Jack said
Immediately after Jack said that, Xavier dropped the phone he was holding and concentrated fully on what he was about to be told.
“Wow! I said it! You’re interested in the Yellow Stone pack and I don’t think it’s a bad idea though” Jack shrugged
“What news are you talking about?” Xavier asked, ignoring what he just said
“Uhm! The Alpha of the Yellow stone pack is going to be chosen and crowned today. I think the Alpha has already been decided though” Jack said
“Really? Who is the chosen Alpha?” Xavier asked
“I wasn’t able to find that out, but who do you think could have been chosen? Not anyone can be chosen as the Alpha, he needs to have the Alpha’s blood running through his vein and so far, no man in that pack has the Alpha’s blood running through his veins” Jack explained
“So, you’re saying they might choose someone that doesn’t have the Alpha’s blood flowing through him? That’s absurd! Other packs will definitely oppose them for sure” Xavier said
“Then they only have one option. The Alpha’s daughter has the Alpha’s blood flowing through her veins so…” Jack was saying but Xavier immediately cut him off
“So? What are you trying to say? You think she will be chosen as the Alpha? That’s more than absurd! No woman has ever been the Alpha before and it can’t change with Dorothy. The Alpha is always a man and Dorothy isn’t even a woman yet, she’s still a girl” Xavier said
“I don’t know, I was just saying. Everything will be over in the evening so we just need to wait until then” Jack shrugged
