ALPHA DOROTHY
(The First Female Alpha)
✨ Chapter 4✨
Dorothy walked gracefully inside the hall where the event was taking place. The members of the council and everyone else present stood up to pay their respect to the deceased Alpha’s daughter.
The elders that were to crown Dorothy started the necessary traditional rites which took about an hour and they were done.
The new Alpha of the Yellow stone pack had been chosen and crowned. For the first time in history, a female was made an Alpha.
The news spread among the other packs like wildfire and everyone said it was absurd. The other packs were all against Dorothy being an Alpha but no one dared to question her.
Apart from Dorothy being strict and cold towards everyone, the Yellow stone pack was the second biggest pack so they couldn’t be questioned by just any pack.
As the news spread everywhere, it soon got to Moon Valley Pack and Jack, the Beta heard about it.
“Xavier, you won’t believe this” Jack said after entering Xavier’s room
“I’m your Alpha, don’t address me by my name” Xavier said without looking up from his phone
“Whatever! Aren’t you curious to know what I have to say?” Jack asked
“Unless it’s about Yellow stone pack, I don’t want to he…” Xavier paused as soon as he realized what he just said
“Wow! You really are in love with Dorothy right? You only want to hear anything that involves her. Fortunately for you, the interesting news is about Yellow stone pack and most importantly about your love, Dorothy” Jack taunted
“Don’t you dare refer to her as my love. Anyway, what about the pack?” he asked, now concentrating fully on Jack
“The new Alpha has been chosen, guess who it is” jack said
“It’s just one of their strongest men. I don’t know anyone of them so I don’t want to hear it” Xavier dismissed and took his attention back to his phone
“No, you’re wrong!” Jack said
“Really? Then, does it mean that no Alpha was chosen? You can’t possibly say Alpha Juan woke up from the dead” Xavier said with an eyeroll
“How come you’re so dumb when you’re the Alpha of the most powerful pack? I asked you to guess who the Alpha is and you said no Alpha was chosen. You’re so boring” Jack muttered
“Fine! Can you please stop beating around the bush and just tell me who exactly was crowned Alpha?” Xavier asked with a sigh
“Wow! Did you just say please?” Jack asked in disbelief
“Get out if you won’t tell me who the new Alpha is” Xavier said angrily
“Alright, I’m leaving” Jack said and turned around
“Y…. you’re really going to leave?” Xavier stuttered
“Of course! Why can’t I leave? You asked me to leave, remember?” Jack raised his brows
“Why are you doing this?” Xavier asked
“Fine fine! The new Alpha is Dorothy. There! I said it and I’ll take my leave now” Jack said and turned around again
“What are you talking about? Dorothy is the new Alpha? You must be dreaming. Have you ever seen a female become Alpha?” Xavier scoffed
“I know right? It’s absurd and totally shocking but there’s nothing impossible for Dorothy. I just love her a lot” Jack winked at Xavier
“Are you serious? Dorothy is the new Alpha?” Xavier asked
“Of course! You think I will lie about something so important?” Jack sneered
“It’s absurd! Isn’t any pack opposing it?” Xavier asked
“They are scared to oppose Dorothy, I’m sure you know how she is” Jack said with a knowing look
“Whatever! This might be a blessing in disguise for me. Dorothy is a lady and not only is she busy with so many things, but she also can’t lead the pack properly as a guy would. Their pack is going to fall way behind ours very soon and no pack will be considered our rival” Xavier smirked triumphantly
“Dorothy has been shocking us so much so I’ll suggest you don’t get ahead of yourself yet. Watch her for the next two to three months at least before celebrating your victory” Jack advised
“Are you trying to say she can perform excellently as a guy would? Even if she can, she has numerous companies to manage as the only child of her father and she’s also a model and actress. Even the moon goddess won’t be able to handle so many things at once so who is Dorothy? We will watch the downfall of Yellow stone pack with our very own eyes” Xavier assured
“Fine then! You won’t listen to me anyway so I should save my strength. I will take my leave now” Jack bowed slightly and walked out of the room, leaving Xavier to dwell on his thoughts.

After working her ass out the entire day, Dorothy was finally back at her mansion. Being a model on its own was already very stressful and she had to take over her father’s company, coupled with the fact that she’s an actress.
She sighed frustratedly as she scrolled through the messages on her phone.
“When is our mate coming to find us?” Kayla, Dorothy’s wolf asked her
“How am I supposed to know that? I’m not eighteen yet so I have to wait until then at least. I hope my mate comes to find me quickly so he can help me out with some things at least” Dorothy sighed
As she thought about finding her mate with a sad look on her face, her best friend, Amanda Bruce came in.
“Why are you looking so moody? You just became the Alpha, shouldn’t you be happy?” Amanda said in a sarcastic tone
“Why are you talking like this?” Dorothy asked in surprise
“Sorry, I was in a bad mood before I came here” Amanda mumbled
Actually, she wasn’t in a bad mood. Dorothy and Amanda had been friends since childhood but as they grew up, Amanda started hating Dorothy because she was better than her at everything.
Now that Dorothy became the first female Alpha in history, her hatred for her tripled but she’s still pretending to be friends with her.
“Have you found your mate yet?” Dorothy pouted
Apart from her parents, the one person that gets to see her cute side is Amanda whom she considers her best friend.
“Not yet, have you?” Amanda asked back
“No, but I really want a mate so badly. I need someone to assist me in the company”
“Well, I have someone in mind and I hope the moon goddess will pair him with me” Amanda gushed
“Really? It’s the first time I will hear you talk about any guy like this so I’m guessing he’s different. Who is he?” Dorothy asked curiously
“He’s Alpha Xavier of Moon Valley Pack” Amanda smiled and Dorothy’s smiling face suddenly became a frowning face
“Do you have to mention the name of the person I hate the most in my life?” Dorothy rolled her eyes
“I don’t know why you hate him but he’s so handsome and cool to me. I just want him to be my mate” Amanda cooed
“Well, good for you! Ahh! That reminds me! I also met a guy today. Unfortunately, he’s Moon valley’s Beta but he’s the complete opposite of Xavier. He’s very warm and caring and I’ll be glad if he turns out to be my mate” Dorothy said
“Wow! This is surprising. You complimented a guy for the first time, I hope the moon goddess fulfills your wishes.
Since he’s the Beta of Moon Valley pack, he’s going to go a long way in helping you because Xavier won’t just choose anyone to be his Beta” Amanda said
“You talk like you know him a lot” Dorothy rolled her eyes
“I made a lot of research about him. After all, he’s my crush” Amanda blushed
“Fine! I’ve heard that he’s your crush but stop mentioning his name every time. His name alone gives me a headache” Dorothy mumbled
“If I won’t mention him, you also won’t mention Jack. Deal?” Amanda asked
“Whatever! I have to eat” Dorothy said and left for the kitchen leaving Amanda with a smile on her face as she pictured Xavier’s face in her head
