Chapter 19
◾Beck Oliver’s POV ◾
Me: aren’t we supposed to go up now? I mean, up the stage
Brittany : there’s a change in the activities. That’s why the teacher wants to see us
Me: okay
I removed my hand from her and she stopped moving
Brittany : why that?
Me: nothing
Brittany : you’re so overprotective of yourself
Me: it’s supposed to be so
I began to move towards the class. She followed me but stopped when her phone beeped.
Brittany : Beck wait
I stopped and looked at her. She raised her face from her phone and stood in front of me
Me: what?
She dropped her phone in her purse and bent down then kept the purse on the ground. Before I could ask her why she did that, she stood up and immediately held onto my face and began to k-ss me, I was taken aback and tried to remove my face which led to her k-ssing my cheek roughly. Her fingers sliced my face. She was so strong in me. I became angered and tried to push her with my arms. I held her wa-ist and just as I was about pushing her, I heard my name in an angry tone. She left me immediately
Me: oh no! Tori
She looked at me then the girl and turned and walked away hurriedly
I took after her but didn’t see her when I got outside. This is not gonna go smoothly
◾Brittany David’s POV◾
I chuckled as he ran after her. I picked my purse and brought out my phone then texted Trina
💬mission accomplished
I waited few seconds before the alert of my balance came in. I smiled and tucked the phone back in then I ran outside. I looked around but didn’t see Beck. I smirked and walked to the two girls who sent me the text that they directed Tori to the dance class
◾Tori Vega’s POV◾
I stopped the car and leaned on the staring. My tears dropped slowly and my breathe hooked in my throat. I took a sad breathe in and rested my head on the seat
Me: I wasn’t expecting this from you. You’re so good to be true
My phone rang and it was Jade. I picked it up
📲Tori where are you?
📲Jade…
📲Tori ,are you crying?
📲Jade it’s Beck..
📲where are you? I’m coming there now
📲I’m… ..I’m at..
📲don’t worry, I’ll use GPS
She hung up. I wiped my tears and took a napkin then got out of the car. I puked into the grass and wiped my mouth. I took a bottle water and rinsed it too. I rested on my car and felt the rising temperature on my forehead. A terrible headache was also forming
A car’s headlight flashed on me and I covered my eyes. Jade got down and hurried towards me
Jade: Tori what happened?
Because of the question, I began to cry again. I hugged her though she didn’t hug me back. She never does. But I still feel soothed when I hug her
Jade: what happened with Beck?
Me: he cheated on me
Jade: WHAT!
Me: he was k-ssing a girl
Jade: I’ll kill him
Me: please do…
Jade: let’s leave here. I’ll take you home
Me: will you spend the night with me?
Jade: don’t use that pitiful tone with me cause it won’t work. Let’s go
She pulled me into her car and made me sit
Me: how about my car
She didn’t answer, she just started her car and zoomed off
◾Jade West’s POV◾
I drove into the environ and parked. Tori and I got out and we entered in,side
Trina was laying on the chair with her eyes sticking into her phone. She didn’t look up at us
Trina: hey Tori, aren’t you supposed to be at your prom night? Why are you here?
She kept typing on her phone
Me: do you have a problem with that?
She quickly looked up
Trina : what? Jade?
Me: I asked you a question. Do you have a problem with Tori being here?
She blinked her eyes repeatedly with her mouth open. I rolled my eyes and held Tori’s arm
Me: let’s go upstairs.
We left the living room and went to Tori’s room.
Tori dropped her bag and entered the bathroom. I began to think, why would Beck k-ss another girl? He doesn’t look like a playboy because of his character. And I think someone framed him up.
Trina has eyes for him, she was flirting with him earlier. And how did she know that it was Tori who came in,side even though she didn’t look at us. Was she expecting her to come home?
Also, the look on her face clearly spelt mockery. Trina might be the mastermind behind this. But I’ll get my facts first, I’ll just ask Beck when we get to school on Monday
◾Beck Oliver’s POV◾
I walked to Andre
Me: please have you seen Tori?
Andre: whoa, what happened to your face? It’s bleeding
I touched the place where I was feeling the pain from. It was bleeding because of Brittany’s nails
Andre: you’re injured in like three places
Me: I need to see Tori now
Andre: have you called her?
I shook my head
Andre: you should call her
I brought my phone and called her but she didn’t pick, I called three more times and when I called the fourth time, her phone was already switched off
Andre: did something happen?
Me: do you remember what happened with me and Samantha?
Andre: back in Canada?
Me: yes
Andre: yeah, she tricked you into following her somewhere then she tried to force you to make out with her. I remember it was Caleb who saw you both and pushed her away from you.
Me: good. That same scene repeated itself just now. And Tori saw it. She misinterpreted it
Andre : Holy Jesus! Tori saw you and a girl? She’s definitely not going to take that likely
Me: I know. She stormed out and now she’s not picking my calls
Andre: you better work things out with her before Jade…
Me: that’s what scares me most dude. Jade..
Andre: let’s go home. Why don’t you spend the night at my house?
Me: no, mom would be alone. I’ll just go home
Andre: all right then, I’ll just wait till the prom is over
Me: please meet the dance teacher and tell him I had to go home so Dave should just act as my backup
Andre: no probs man
I smiled and walked away
◾Emily Brown’s POV◾
I feel so guilty. And I feel like I’m forcing myself on Beck.
What if he’s actually a playboy? I don’t wanna get hurt
Maybe I should just be ordinary friends with him. I won’t force him to date me
I took my phone and texted him
💬Beck, I’m sorry for the inconvenience today. I didn’t know you already had a girlfriend, I wouldn’t have crossed the boundaries. Please forgive me for flirting with you and let’s just be normal friends from now on
The message delivered and I sighed and stood up to change
◾Tori Vega’s POV◾
When I woke up, I didn’t see Jade. Did she leave last night?
I brushed and went downstairs, I didn’t see Dad but Trina was already at the dinning table
Me: good morning, where’s Dad?
Trina: he took the first flight to London
Me: why?
Trina : I’m I his business partner?
I glared at her and shook my head. I’m too pained to throw words with irrelevant people. I turned to go outside
Trina: how’s Beck?
I stopped walking but didn’t look back at her. I scoffed and walked out
I saw my car parked in the garage. My face puzzled up and I went back upstairs. I saw Jade lying down on the bed, with her phone in her hand
Me: Jade? You’ve been here?
Jade: no, I went to the balcony
Me: okay
Jade: so what really happened yesterday?
Me: I don’t wanna talk about it
Jade: I won’t force you now, but I’ll make you talk later
Me: why is my car here?
Jade: Cat brought it and I made her take a taxi home
Me: where was I when she brought it?
Jade: you were having your head over the toilet bowl
Me: oh
I really cried last night and I threw up so badly. Jade didn’t console me. She was listening to music
I’m still so angry with that play boy. I wish I could break up with him but I can’t. I won’t even talk to him
He doesn’t deserve me
My phone beeped and a message from Sichowitz came in. It was about a literary textbook that we are to buy unfailing this Monday. I dropped the phone and stood, getting ready to take a shower
Jade: Sichowitz wants us to buy another bulky and lame textbook again?
She was glaring at her phone
Me: you got the text too?
Jade: he sent it to all his students and I’m his student so why won’t I get the text?
Me: don’t yell at me. I’m the heartbroken girl here, don’t add salt to my injury
She rolled her eyes and left the room.
Me: stupid girl
She came back in immediately, with eyes that could kill
Jade: what!
Me: not… you… Me..
She glared at me and walked out again
Phew 😪
That was close
My phone began to ring and it was Beck again. I scoffed and declined the call
◾Beck Oliver’s POV◾
I sighed as I dropped my empty wallet. I collapsed on the bed and closed my eyes.
How would I be able to buy that textbook now?
I’m out of money
Emily’s dad is out of the country and Tori doesn’t want to speak with me. I’ve got no other job for now and I’m so broke
Me: what I’m I gonna do?
I can’t tell mom because she doesn’t even have enough. I promised to take care of myself and not to bug her with my school issues.
I took my phone and tried to call Sichowitz but I was out of airtime. I stood up and walked downstairs with the phone, I went to the telephone and hoped it would be able to make a call
I imputed Sichowitz’ number and dialed it. Luckily it went through
📞hello, Sichowitz speaking
📞hello this is Beck
📞oh my demigod, how are you?
📞I’m fine sir. Please that textbook you were talking about, can someone pay in installment?
📞oh no you can’t. The school board is involved and it requires immediate payment
📞okay thanks
📞you’re welcome
I dropped the phone and slumped into the couch then closed my eyes
This is so hærd. What I’m I going to do? I really need this book for tomorrow. And I can’t ask Emily. I can’t bring myself to ask her for money
What is killing me most Now is Tori. I want my Tori, I need my baby in my arms
I feel incomplete without her
Me: Tori I miss you
I opened my eyes and looked at the ceiling. Why can’t we just talk things over? Why is she being so immature? Her attitude is getting on my nerves
My phone rang and I picked it up
📲what’s up Emily
📲Beck I’m missing you please let me come over. Please,i already have your address
📲Emily… I..
📲Beck please. I promise I won’t flirt with ya
📲haha, only on one condition will you come over
📲tell me anything. I’ll do it. I’ll give you my credit card
📲you can give me your credit card?
📲yes
📲good girl. You can come over
📲yay ! Thanks sweetie. I love you
📲don’t say that!
She chuckled and hung up. I stood to my feet and began to dance. I hope Emily brings her credit card because I really need that textbook. And I need to fuel the car, maybe I’ll be able to do something to get me money

(Fast Forward)
It’s already Monday, thanks to Emily I already have the textbook. The number one thing on my mind now is how to explain things to Tori.
I haven’t seen her today, she didn’t attend class. But I’m sure she’s in school
I walked towards their special class and saw two hefty black men by the door
The first man spoke up
1st Man: you’re not allowed in here
Me: please, I need to see Tori. Tell her it’s Beck, I’m here to apologize
2nd man: she mentioned your name. Beck Oliver. You’re not allowed to enter this room on any condition. Leave now
Me: please, I really gotta…
1st man: don’t get us angry. Leave now
I sighed sadly and turned. I left but I met Jade on the way
My heart dropped off
Jade: Tori doesn’t want to tell me what happened. So you tell me
I looked down then looked up
Me: she caught me k-ssing another girl but I didn’t k-ss her. The girl did it on her own. She said a teacher wanted to see us and while we were going there, she suddenly began to k-ss me. It was at that instant that Tori came in. She didn’t even let me explain to her
Jade : what’s the girl’s name?
Me: Brittany David
She nodded
Jade: follow me
We walked back to the men
Jade: he’s going in now
They paved way and I walked in,side. Tori was seated and her head was over the table
I looked back and Jade didn’t come in.
Me: baby
She looked up and her face was pink and soft
Tori: how did you get in here? Please get out now
I moved closer to her and she stood up
Tori: just leave me alone
Me: no, here me out please
Tori: I don’t have anything to hear from you. You deceived me and I hate you for that
Me: I love you Tori. I can never cheat on you. I didn’t k-ss that girl. She was a psycho who wanted to force herself on me.
Tori: liar. You k-ssed her. You were even holding her wa-ist
Me: I was trying to push her away. She kept struggling to keep k-ssing me, that’s why her fingers injured my face
She looked at my face then looked away. I took her hand and drew her close
Me: I can’t ever k-ss anyone else while you’re still in my life. Please believe me
She broke down and began to cry again. I hugged her and stroke her hair. She hugged me too and I could feel that she was really pained
◾Jade West’s POV◾
I walked outside angrily and I saw her under a tree with her friends
Me: hey Brittany!
She looked up with surprise
Brittany : are…are you talking to me?
I scoffed and pulled her up with her arm. She squealed as I tightened my grip on her skin. I pulled her into the building, to a corner and threw her to the wall
Brittany : please Jade, what did I do to you?
Me: you slag! Why did you k-ss Beck?
Brittany : what?
Me: don’t let me repeat myself
I pinned her to the wall
Me: you k-ssed Beck!
Brittany : I’m sorry..
Her tears began to well up
Me: why did you k-ss Tori’s boyfriend?
Brittany : I was payed for it. I’m so sorry. Please don’t hurt me please
Me: who paid you?
She didn’t answer. I kicked her legs and she fell down
I brought out my scissors
Me: you have a nice hair
Brittany : no no no, please… It was Trina… Tori’s sister
I smirked
Me: good girl. I’ll be back for you
I returned my scissors and left the pathetic girl

Chapter 20
♥ Jade West’s POV ♥
I parked my car beside Tori’s blue car. She didn’t bring this car to school today. I came out of my car and adjusted my black jeans. I arranged my white shirt and walked to the boot of the car. I opened it and brought out all the shopping bags then headed for the front door. I opened the door and saw two maids cleaning the living room
Me: is Trina home?
They bowed
Maid: no ma’am
I smirked and went upstairs, I got to her door but it was locked. I brought out a key and opened the door. I entered and locked the door
It’s time to teach this girl a lesson
♥ Beck Oliver’s POV ♥
Me: have you forgiven me baby?
She nodded. I smiled and carried her up then sat her down on the table
Me: I love you
She smiled a little and I wiped her tears off.
Me: smile for me
Tori: no
I frowned
Tori: you do the smiling
Me: I’ve been smiling since
She hugged me
Tori: I love you Beck
Me: I love you too
♥Tori Vega’s POV♥
Beck: spend the night with me this Friday
Me: your house?
Beck: yeah, so that you can get to see my mom
Me: oh okay. I’ll come
He pecked my l-ips briefly
Beck: let’s go to the cafeteria
We walked out of the room and I released the guards
♥ Mrs Oliver’s POV♥
Me: really, your girlfriend is coming for the weekend?
Beck: yes, she really wants to see you
Me: wow, that’s nice. I’ll like to see her too
Beck: and her dad wants to see you too
My eyes w¡dened
Me: what?
Beck: why do you look surprised?
Me: well, her dad wants to see me. But why?
He smiled
Beck: he just wants us to have dinner together. Me you, Tori and her dad.
Me: they’re really serious about you
Beck: and I’m really serious about them
Me: but don’t you feel inferior with them. I mean, you are so different from them. Different social status and all that
Beck: mom, I love Tori and she loves me too. We don’t even care about our background and we’re okay with each other
I smiled
Me: are they very rich?
Beck: very rich mom. Their house is so massive. With lots of cars, they have servants too and they live buoyantly
I smiled
Me: I wish we had that kind of life. Hmm, don’t we deserve to be rich Beck?
Beck: mom, we’ll be rich at the right time. I’ll work very hærd for you
Me: ever since you were born, you’ve always been working hærd. You’re not supposed to be stressing yourself out that much. You’re not supposed to be in this situation
My face was turning bitter with pains running through my veins. I didn’t give Beck the life he deserved
Beck: stop thinking about the past.
Me: I’m sorry
He laughed and stood up
Me: don’t go to my kitchen!
Beck: too late
He entered and I sighed, if I had enough food to cook and enough servants to do the cooking, why would I stop Beck from eating anytime he likes?
♥ Jade West’s POV ♥
I removed the bed covers and covered them with the one I bought. It had a huge image of a bleeding child, the child was bleeding from the eyes and mouth and had a huge bloody wound on the forehead
I covered the pillows with a pillowcase that had the image of bloody knives. I covered the walls with glowing stickers and wallpapers. The stickers were of large monsters and demon images. They were scary, and they glowed in the dark.
The floor wasn’t left out, I covered it totally with a carpet that had the effect of laughing zombies. If you move and you look down, it will seem like they are staring at you and laughing.
I finished all that needs to be done and I looked through the window, Trina wasn’t back yet so I went downstairs to bake some scary cakes for her to eat
♥ Trina Vega’s POV ♥
I parked my car and went in,side, I went to the bar and took a champagne bottle. I went upstairs and opened my door
Me: aaaaaahhhhhhhhh
The bottle slipped off my hand and shattered on the floor
Jade: surprise!
Me: what did you do to my room?
Jade: I just decorated it the same way your heart is
The door closed and the lights went off. All the images on the wall began to glow. It was really scary, I felt like I was in the middle of a nightmare.
The lights came back on and I wanted to run out of the room. I tried opening the door but it wouldn’t open
Suddenly, I heard a speaker and it was booming with evil laughter. I felt like I was in the pit of hell.
Jade: you can’t open the door. Just sit down and eat with me
I looked back and she was smiling
Me: please let me go please
Jade: nope, this is your room not mine
I swallowed a lump and looked down, I quickly looked up and took a step
Me: oh no they’re looking at me
Jade: yes, I know. Now sit
She pointed to my bed
Me: I can’t sit there
Jade: you’re getting on my nerves Trina, I skipped school because of you. Don’t let me treat you like I would treat a puppy
I sighed and moved, I don’t want Jade to deal with me. I better comply with her. I refused to look at the floor because the zombies were looking at me and they were laughing
I sat down on the edge of the bed, not wanting to sit on the image.
She turned on the speakers and they began to play a sad song. Then she handed me a plate of cookies, they were designed like poisonous snakes
Me: no thanks, I’m not hungry
Jade: I never asked you if you were hungry or not. Eat this now, don’t let me come back and meet them
She walked out of the room and bolted the door. I looked around, I might faint here if I’m left alone
♥ Tori Vega’s POV ♥
I returned home from school and saw Jade’s car beside my second car. Why is she in my house?
I hurried upstairs to my room but I didn’t see her, I called her but she didn’t pick.
Where the heck is this Jade? She left school without telling me and now she’s not picking my calls.
I changed and went downstairs to eat, that was when I saw Jade sitting on the dinning table and her phone was beside her
Jade: welcome
Me: Jade, what are you doing here and why didn’t you pick your call ?
Jade: I didn’t feel like picking
Me: why did you skip school?
Jade: I felt like skipping
I eyed her
Me: and why are you here?
Jade: follow me
She stepped down from the table and we went upstairs. She ins**ted a key into Trina’s door
Me: that’s Trina’s room
Jade: I know
She pushed the door open and I scre-med when I looked in,side.
Jade: watch your steps, broken bottles are on the floor
I jumped over the bottles and entered the awfully scary room
Me: oh no Trina
Trina: please beg Jade to release me
Me: why is this room like this. This is too scary
Jade: Trina, do you have anything to confess?
Trina : no, I don’t. Please let me leave here
Jade: why did Beck k-ss another girl?
Me: huh? Does Trina know anything about it?
Jade: yes she does
Trina : I don’t know anything about it
Jade: okay, when you’re ready to confess we’ll come back.
She pulled my hand and we left the room though Trina was begging that we help her out.
Jade: oh wait, I forgot something
She opened the door and turned the lights off. Trina scre-med more
Trina: I made Beck k-ss another girl!
My eyes w¡dened and I ran into the room
♥ Trina Vega’s POV ♥
Tori ran into the room and Jade turned on the lights
Tori: what?
Trina: I’m sorry Tori, I was so jealous. I paid three girls to frame Beck up and make the two of you separate. I caused it
Me: why would you do that? Why?
Jade: she just told you, she was jealous
Trina: I’m so sorry Tori. I’ve always been jealous of you. Your beauty, your relationsh¡p with dad and the attention you always get. I’m sorry I hated you for all this
Tori: Trina?
Her voice was sad and teary. As if she was going to burst out in tears soon
Tori: but you know that’s not true. Dad loves us both, you just distanced yourself.
Me: no, it was always you. And I’m the weirdo, I’m the odd one
I began to cry and Jade scoffed
Jade : I love it when people cry, but not this type of cry of repentance. Ugh, I’ll just excuse you both
She left and Tori hugged me
Tori: I’m sorry for making you feel that way. I promise to be less vulgar towards you
I wiped my tears
Me: I’m sorry for being a pain in the ass, I promise not to temper with your affairs from now on
Tori wiped a tear and hugged me again
♥ Tori Vega’s POV ♥
Me: I already told dad that I’m going over to your place tonight
Beck: did he agree
Me: of course he did. He can’t say no
He chuckled and k-ssed my palm. We’re at a restaurant, from here we’ll go to his house. I’m so excited, I feel like Beck really loves me. What if he proposes when we’re done with high school? We can get married in college and still study. It will be so much fun to be married to Beck. Our kids will be so adorable
Beck: baby, what are you thinking?
Me: huh?
Beck: your face is looking so dreamy. You’re thinking about something
I laughed
Me: you caught me. But I won’t tell you what I’m thinking about yet
Beck: okay, I wont force you as long as you’re still going to tell me
Me: you’re such an amazing boyfriend
He covered his face shyly
Beck: oh no I’m blushing ☺
We laughed
Me: Trina and I are in good terms now
Beck: really
Me: yeah, she apologized to me after Jade dealt with her. She confessed that she framed you up with Brittany
Beck: what? Trina did that?
Me: yeah, but like I said, she apologized. And I forgave her
Beck: wow, uhm okay that’s nice. I’m happy for you guys
I smiled and he smiled too
♥ Mrs Oliver’s POV ♥
I took a final look at the room. It was simple and nice. I hope Tori likes the small room. I know she wouldn’t like it, it’s too small and way too casual for a girl of her class.
Me: after staying here, she should go home and tell Mark that being poor is so bad. And that no one deserves to be poor. Not Beck and not I
I smirked and walked out of the room, I banged the door angrily and scoffed
There’s no way I’m going to allow Beck to keep dating that girl. Veronica was a proud and evil lady, I’m sure her daughters will be just like her. She thinks she won the fight back then, haha, and I thought the fight was over. But now’s the time to end it once and for all.
I waited for some time until I heard a car horn, I stood up and arranged my dress. I walked to the door and opened it. Beck stepped out of the car and opened the door for Tori. She stepped down with a smile
Wow, she’s really beautiful. She’s more beautiful than Veronica.
Beck: hey mom
Tori: hello ma’am
Me: sweethearts, so Adorable, please come in,side
I led them in
They sat down and I offered them drinks before sitting down
Me: wow, Tori it’s so nice to meet you
Tori: it’s nice meeting you too ma’am
Me: you’re so pretty
I touched her cheek and they smiled and looked at each other.
Me: how are your parents?
Tori: they’re… they’re fine
Me: what are their names?
Tori: Mark Vega and Veronica Vega
I squeezed my face
Me: they are your parents?
She nodded
Me: oh my goodness. I know them. When they were in Washington
Her eyes brightened
Beck: really?
Me: yes, I was a friend to her dad. Then, they had a little daughter. Uhm, her name was.. Uhh, Trina.. Yeah Trina
Tori: yes, you’re correct
Me: this is so unexpected. I never thought I’d cross paths with them again. Please how is Veronica?
Her eyes dullened and Beck looked at her and squeezed her fingers. I don’t understand why they suddenly look sad
Me: what’s wrong
Beck: mom, Veronica is already late. She died few years ago, when Tori was sixteen
I gasped
Me: oh my gosh, oh no! I’m so sorry Tori, I didn’t mean to bring back sad memories. I’m sorry
Tori: it’s okay ma’am
She smiled and I smiled a little
Me: why don’t you go upstairs, I’m going to make delicious cookies for you two
Beck: yummy, come on baby let’s go check out my room
They stood up and left. I leaned on the couch and sighed
So Veronica is dead, hmm change of plans. I even thought she was still there and might serve as a stumbling block to me. But she’s outta the way
I have to make better plans. But I need to see Mark, he needs to know that what’s going on between this two people shouldn’t be in existence
I smirked and walked to the kitchen to make the cookies
