I sighed deeply as I slumped on my bed thinking about what happened earlier in the library.Claudine walked in clearly ignoring me and walked to the closet to pick out an outfit..
‘Hey goody two shoes..which dress do you think I should wear??’..She asked and I gasped..
‘Did you just..you just asked me a question??’..
‘Yeah now don’t ruin the moment and tell me which dress i should wear to the fresher’s party tonight’…She replied..
‘Wear the pink one it goes with your highlights’..I said and she shrugged..
‘You’re going to the party aren’t you??’..
‘Yeah but I’m not so sure’..I murmured..
‘You’re not so sure?? Who the hell misses a fresher’s party?! You’ve got some issues girl’..She retorted and I chuckled softly.I switched on my phone and went online to the school’s web only for me to see videos about the night party and a video of a girl giving Brody a lap dance..

The song played loudly and everyone began cheering as i walked down the stairs…

These are the things that make me forget my wasteful teenage life…
‘Great party Brody you’re clearly rocking it!!’..The Evan guy yelled and i rolled my eyes only to see Payton sitting by a corner..

Embarrassedly I covered my head with an handkerchief and walked out of the party with tears in my eyes…
‘Hey Payton wait up!!’..Evan said from behind me..
‘I told you i didn’t want to come here but you refused!! I told you I didn’t want to attend but somehow in a stupid way you talked me into it!!’..i cried out..
‘Yeah that’s a mistake on my part I’m sorry Payton’..He replied resting his hands on my shoulder..
‘Yeah it’s not your fault anyway I guess I deserve every treatment he’s giving me’..I said..
‘Yeah you’re kinda right but you need to talk to him Pay..say you’re sorry and maybe he’ll forgive you’…He muttered and i sighed..
‘I just can’t do that you know it’s not that easy so let’s just accept the fact that my college life is gonna be screwed just like my highschool life’..I whimpered and ran away.Evan yelled my name continuously but I ignored him…

‘Hey Claudine’..I murmured as I opened my eyes seeing Claudine stagger into the house..

‘Are you just arriving from the party??’..I asked..
‘Yeah it was rad to be honest!! I even f**ked Brody Anderson in the toilet and damn!! He’s a good k-sser’..She said and somehow i felt a lump in my throat..

‘Yeah you could say that again,he even promised to take me out to the club tonight’…She replied with a wide smile on her face..

‘Come to think of it what did you say that made him kick you out of his party??’..she asked..
‘I uhmm..i don’t know..maybe he doesn’t like me’..i lied and she shrugged singing as she walked into the bathroom…

‘Payton is here mom’…i said with a half smirk on my face..
‘What?!! How can that be?!! What is she doing here?!’..Mom asked in reply…
‘College obviously but you don’t have to worry’..i said..

that she devil is in the same school with you and you’re saying i don’t have to worry?!!’..She yelled..
‘Mom I told you times without number that I’m an adult okay?? For crying out loud I’m 23 and by the way I’m okay!! It’s just a few year course to complete and I’m outta here!!..it’s college life so it’s easy to ignore someone’..i fired back and she sighed..
‘Okay fine i believe you but I’m just psyched about the idea that she’s in here with you…Anyways I’m off to the club I have to make sure everything is perfect for our grand opening’..She said k-ssing my cheeks and i smiled as she grabbed her bags…
She’s my mom and i love her but she’s really getting on my nerves with her over protectiveness…
And I’m gonna have my perfect revenge on Payton when the time is right…

I shouldn’t have come to midtown and now I’m stranded…
And i can’t even find a bus..
‘Taxi!!!’..i yelled waving at another one but it sped away and before i could scre-m out in frustration a heavy downpour began…

Now I’m drenched..
I ran to the nearest store i could find and stood under the canopy all cold and shivering…
The rain didn’t show any sign of stopping soon and I let my hands down in surrender..
I can’t believe I’m stranded and there’s no network..
‘Get In’..i heard and when i turned around i saw Brody in a black sedan jeep…

Payton shivered endlessly as I took a curb on the road and when I couldn’t bear it anymore I handed my jacket over to her..

‘It’s not a pleasure helping you Payton what are you doing in midtown??’..i asked with a hint of sarcasm in my voice…
‘I came here job hunting and got stranded,what are you doing here??’..she replied and I frowned..
‘It’s none of your business Payton I wanna be as far as I can away from you but just because i hate you doesn’t mean I should leave you drenching in the rain’..i said..

The car stopped in front of his house and he came out with an umbrella in his hands.We both ran into his living room and I sniffed with my body all drenched up and he dropped his keys on his kitchen counter…
‘You need new clothes follow me and you need a hot bath too’..He said and i followed him into a smaller bedroom with a luxurious bed.A huge portrait of his mom was over the headboard and a and aquarium was at the side..
It’s like the Anderson’s have a taste when it comes to interior decor…
‘You can have your shower I’ll go get you some clothes’..He muttered and I nodded.He left the room and i stripped myself unclad stepping into the bathtub…

I checked into my closet and brought out a huge football jersey.I went back to the room and just then Payton came out all dripping w-t with a robe tied around her body.She was looking so beautiful that i couldn’t resist walking closer to her…
‘Here’s your shirt’..I managed to say..
‘Thank you’..she replied taking the shirt from my hands and when our hands brushed i felt a tingling s-nsation in my body…
