That voice. That familiar voice.

She woke up, glaring around the room, but there was no one except her. “Oh, shit!”

She couldn’t sleep. The voice wouldn’t let her. She felt like he was standing right next to her, watching her beautiful face while she slept.

“Please find me, Pablo, please find me.” She muttered to herself.

It’s only a week, but to Ana, it felt much like a year to her. A year without him by her side. She was beginning to miss him more than she can ever imagine. And she wished he would ignore the letter and come to find her. And some how, she was beginning to regret why she had written the letter to him in the first place.

She was scared of what might happen to him if she hadn’t accepted Mr Vito’s offer. What if she had refused the money? What if she had stayed back? Would it make everything go back to normal? Would it make every thing to be alright?

Leaving was the best option. Staying away from him was the safest thing to do, but was it? She was doing what she thought was right, which on the other hand, seems to be the biggest mistake.

Clarabelle? The closest thing to her, what will she explain to her after all these? She left without a goodbye.

“I wasn’t thinking. I thought I was doing the right thing, I thought I was making the right choice. God damnit!” She slapped her forehead. “I’m such an annoying d**k! I’ve lost every one I loved because of that asshole! I should be happy that I am living a comfortable life, but no!

Every single day I feel lonely. If only you stayed the fu*k out of my life, every thing wouldn’t have gotten this far! And what makes you think that after all these, I will forgive you? You better go to hell and fu*k yourself.”

She looked around and saw that she was talking to herself. “FU*K YOU MICHAEL! I HATE YOU!”

She started crying. “I wish you were here, Pablo. I wish you were standing beside me. I can’t explain how it feels without you. I feel dead, I feel fu*king empty! Please just… don’t listen to the letter, just come find me. I miss you, Pablo, I miss you so much.”

Every moment she shared with him, starting from the night at the garden where they had shared their first kΓ—ss, reflected in her mind. She couldn’t hold the tears any more.

“Please, find me.”

Pablo on the other hand hasn’t stopped from searching around the state for her, and for the fact that none of them has each other’s contact was another problem, making things a lot difficult for him.

His anger for his father keeps growing every single day that passes by without him staring into the eyes of the woman who has captured his heart. And he has promised himself not to bother about the empire if he never finds Anastasia.

He had purchased a new laptop to track her. And since the night he arrived in Chicago, he’s been seriously engaged on his internet website. He searched for her name, and started a quick tracing of her.

But there were so many Anastasia r-manoff in the computer, but all he wanted was a single Anastasia r-manoff. So, he’s been going to every location of each Anastasia r-manoff, and he’s got two more left to visit.

One of the two which turns out to be the very Anastasia r-manoff he wanted. Hopefully, he knew his searching was coming to an end. And a day is all it takes for him to find her, and to bring her back home.

The next morning, Ana has prepared for work. Despite not having a good sleep the previous night, she felt happy and excited for some thing she wasn’t sure about. Just a feeling she hoped was real.

She started her job with excitement, and surprisingly, so many customers had come both from outside and from the company to eat at her place. But then, Bella surprises her with some one who would help her in the business.

“I thought I should bring her. She once worked in a Chinese restaurant in the state until some emergency family issues came up. I assure you, you’ll enjoy her.”

“And… I have also decided to help you out. But… it’s only for today.”

Anastasia hugged her so tight. “It doesn’t matter, a day’s help is worth it all.”

“So, let’s get started, shall we?”

I’m just so happy for a thousand reasons. First Bella bringing a helper to assist me and second, her deciding to help me out today. Even if it’s just a day, it’s worth it.

Mr Jayden showed up as usual. Though, I wasn’t expecting he’d show up, but here he is. Have I suddenly forgotten he is the CEO? The man who has become my very special customer?

I noticed the way he’s been looking at me since he walked in. He’s been giving me those s-ductive looks that almost made me forget I am in love. Maybe he just hasn’t learned that walking away from the man I love doesn’t mean I’ve broken up with him.

I guess Bella also noticed it too. Bella is the kind of person who acts like what’s going on is actually none of her business, but trust me, she’s much more aware of what’s going on than you who has been attentive.

I noticed she was also looking at me. I turned to her direction and she winked at me. I rolled my eyes at her. When I looked at Tessa, her friend, she smiled at me. Oh, great! It’s obviously clear at the way he was giving me those s-ductive looks.

“Some one is in love.” Bella whispered in my ear.

“Bella?”

“What? It’s broad daylight, okay, and I can see every thing that is going on here. Don’t tell me you’re in love with Mr handsome already.” She was gazing at me, seeking an answer.

“I am not.” I said, matter of fact.

She raised an eyebrow at me. Yes, he’s cute… super cute, taller and fair than Pablo doesn’t make him more handsome than Pablo. He has a nice smile, oh gosh, those dimples. I just don’t wanna go to that extent but let’s just get some thing straight… I don’t love him.

“I don’t have any feelings for him. He’s just a friend, that’s all.” I said as a matter of fact. I looked in his direction but he wasn’t looking at me. “If I didn’t have some one already, I would have just gone for him. But that’s by the way, are you hungry because I am.” She asked, changing the topic.

“I was thinking you wouldn’t ask me that.”

“Then I guess you weren’t hungry in the first place?” I stood up, heading to the kitchen to get some thing for us to eat.

There I met Tessa, she was just walking in. “Are you hungry?” I asked.

“Not yet.”

“Okay. Whenever you are hungry, feel free to eat some thing, okay?”

“I will. Thanks.”

I left the kitchen, heading to where Bella sat. “Hey.” I said, drawing her attention.

I drop the food on the table. “Your handsome man has gone.” She said not even giving me a break to sit down.

“He has?” I looked at the direction he sat, the chair was empty. “So soon?”

“Well, he did ask of you.” She said, looking reluctant.

“What did you tell him?” I asked. I honestly don’t trust what Bella can say.

“I said what I had to say.”

“What did you say?” I asked again. God, this girl is killing me with suspense.

“What are you expecting to hear?”

“Well, I want to hear exactly what you told him, Bella. Who knows if you might have said some thing weird to him.”

“Well, I told him you were in the kitchen.”

I eyed her. “I don’t always trust your replies, Bella, they always give me a heart attack.” I plainly told her.

Bella laughed. “Oh please, when it comes to Mr handsome, I can never give you a heart attack. Trust me.”

“For goodness sake, Bella, stop calling him that. He has a name.”

“Who cares if he has a name? He is handsome and cute, and he deserves the name. So please.” She started eating her food.

“Whatever.” I rolled my eyes at her.

The evening came, and again he’s here. I mean Mr Jayden Donaldson. Seriously? I don’t know why but I think Mr Jayden loves me.

“I think he likes you, Ana.” Bella said.

“Can you for once pretend like you don’t notice a thing?” Seriously, does she have to be so attentive at every thing?

“Why should I when I have eyes to see?” She opened her eyes wide at me, then she carried a tray of food to serve to one of the customers.

“Jesus Christ.” I sighed.

“She’s right, Ana, it’s obviously clear that he does like you. I mean, there’s no one in here staring at you the way he does.” Tessa added.

I looked around, yeah, she’s right.

One of his guards came to me. “My boss wants the usual dish.” He said.

“Okay, it’ll be ready in a minute.” I said, rushing into the kitchen to get his meal ready.

The entire restaurant was quiet, customers were leaving one after the other, only a few were remaining. Save me the stress.

Bella, Tessa and I, we were having this girl chat together. It was really fun to me. Since I started my job I have never felt this happy and excited like today. You know, it’s always fun when you have your friends around.

The door opened, but I didn’t pay much attention to it since a lot of customers have been walking in and out of the shop.

But then Bella gasped, “Oh. My. God.”

I noticed every eyes all went in the same direction Bella and Tessa were staring at. And when I say all eyes, I meant every single eye, like they were staring right at Mr President.

I reluctantly moved my gaze to the door since that is where they were all staring at. My mouth slightly opened, I gasped. I couldn’t sΒ’rΓ¦m, I couldn’t say a word either. All I did was stare at the very figure standing by the door who was likewise staring directly at me.

“Who the fu*k is he?” Tessa said with admiration.

Then I heard Bella say, “Let me guess, this… is the almighty Pablo Escobar.”
