“After I left you there I was on the run for a few years, had to lay low and earn some money any way I could, then I decided to change my face and name” Emma said and I just kept looking at her dumbfounded
It’s all make sense now
Her story matches with the fragments I saw during the hypnosis test with Mason
“Alex” she called as she shook my me but her voice sounded far away
I can’t believe I totally forgot everything
I forgot how they cruelly killed me parents
And the man that killed them….
“Alex, say something please” Emma said as she shook me vigorously finally jerking my from my thoughts
I staggered but she grabbed my arm preventing me from falling
“Are you okay?” She asked
“Okay? How can I be okay? I totally forgot everything, I forgot my parents death and I lived like everything was okay while those cruel men that killed my parents lived a carefree live that they don’t deserve!!” I yelled
“It’s not your fault Alex, your were injected with a drug that made you loose that memory”
“I should’ve remembered!” I yelled “I should’ve remembered when I saw the Prime Minister! And when I finally remembered a bit of what happened that and I knew he was involved, I didn’t want to believe it and I stood by the man that killed my own parents!”
“Calm down Alex” Emma said
“You should’ve told me earlier, you should’ve told me everything earlier!”
“I spent my life watching you from the shadows Alex, unlike me, you were living freely and I didn’t want to involve you in this mess again unless it’s absolutely necessary, that’s why I didn’t tell you earlier”
“That was not your call to make! You all stripped me of my right to remember my parents death, do you know how I felt all this years, knowing that there was this gap in my memory that I could never fill, yet I kept trying, do you know how hard I looked for my parents with the hope that they might still be alive?”
“Alex…..”
“You should’ve told me! You shouldn’t have left me on the road that morning, you should’ve waited for to become conscience and told me everything that happened instead you decided to give me a fake life, a life I was always struggling to understand something I couldn’t remember!” I said and walked out of her
I bumped Jasmine on the way in
“Where have you been Alex, I’ve been looking for you. I actually talked to this nurse at the infirmary asking her if Lovenox was available and luckily it was so here” she said as she gave the drugs to me “For your tremors”
I didn’t collect her
All I could do was stare at her with tears in my eyes
“Is something wrong Alex?” She asked but I quiet
“Come on, talk to me Alex, did something bad happened?” She asked
“Please say something you are getting me worried” she said and I drew her closer to me and hugged her
“You are a happiness I don’t deserve” I said
“What?” She asked
“I’ve finally found myself Jasmine and I can’t live like I used to before but seeing you makes me wish I never got to know what happened that night cause now that I know, things can never be the same for me”
“I don’t understand, what are you talking about?” She asked
“Our friendship end here Jasmine, we are back to the doctor and assistant relationship now”
“What?!”
“Get something, we’ll be going back to London tomorrow morning” I said and walked away

“You look awful doctor didn’t you sleep?” Andrew asked as he woke up in the morning to meet me awake
“Couldn’t sleep” I replied
“Why? Is something wrong?” He asked looking concerned
“Am fine Andrew, you should go get ready, we’ll be taking a few pictures with the Afghanistan millitary before we leave for the airport”
“Okay doc” he said and went off to the bathroom

We took some pictures with army and Captain Ameer went to drop us at the airport
“I guess our journey together ends here doctors” Captain said
“And it wasn’t pleasant coming to this country at all, considering the fact that am leaving with a gunshot wound” Ryan who was now using crouches said
“It was nice coming here Captain, be careful and stay safe” Emma said and shook her hand

We walked into the airport and entered the private plane that was to take us to London
Alex sat down on a seat near the window and I went to sit beside him
“Alex, what’s wrong Alex? I couldn’t understand anything last night”
“Come on Alex, answer me” I said again when he remained silent
“Don’t you think it’s disrespectful to call your superior by his name?” He asked and I looked at him surprised
“What? But…..but we are friends right?”
“I ended that friendship yesterday”
“What’s with the sudden change Alex?” I asked
“It’s Doctor Alex from now on and am not obligated to discuss my personal life with you, we have some professional boundaries Jasmine and you must not cross it, excuse me” he said and left his seat to sit by my front with Emma
What the heck is wrong with him??
I continued watching Alex and Emma and they seemed to be discussing something really serious
“……my revenge on those people that killed my parents so……” That was all I could manage to hear from all what Alex said
His parents were killed???
💊 Alex’s POV 💊
I left Jasmine and went to sit beside Emma
“Are you still angry?” She asked
“I’ll continue being angry till am able to get my revenge on those people that killed my parents, I’ve been happy long enough Emma, I need to get justice for my parents now, I need to punish those responsible for murdering them in cold blood”
“I have a plan in motion already and you will play a big role in that plan but I can’t tell you about yet” Emma said
“But why? Am ready Emma, tell me what plan you have, I need to know that am fighting for my parent’s justice before I can be at ease”
“You still angry and unsettled Alex, you can easily make mistakes in this state, I need the calm and rational Alex back before I tell you anything”
“How can I be calm?!” I yelled “How can I be calm knowing that those responsible for my parents death are still very much alive and enjoying life”
“Don’t you forget Alex, I also lost my parents that night, you were able to forget so you had many years of peace but I never forgot anything that happened that night, I have nightmares every night cause of that night, you had a family to take care of you but I had no one but William Sanders on my tail trying to kill me, I’ve had to fend and protect for myself all alone yet I managed to remain calm, being hot blooded gets you nowhere, the sooner you understand that, the earlier you’ll get to know about the plan” she said and then closed her eyes pretending to be asleep

The plane landed in London some hours later and some cars were sent by the Prime Minister to pick us up
“They are holding a welcome party for your arrival” the driver said
“You guys should go along, I’ll meet you up at the party later” I said and started to leave
“Where are you going?” Jasmine and Emma asked
“I’ll not be attending the party” I replied and walked away
I took a cab straight to Prime Minister’s residence and the security let me in
The Prime Minister was in his living room all dressed up but he looked somehow pale though that’s the least of my concern right now
“Welcome back Alex, you should be at the party venue now, the party is being held to welcome you guys” he said and I walked closer to him, punched him and he fell to the ground
The securities quickly ran in and held me while one of them handcuffed me
“No no, let him be” the Prime Minister said as he staggered up and the securities released me
“Leave us alone” the Prime Minister said
“But Sir, it could be dangerous” one of the securities said
“Don’t worry, leave us” he repeated and the security left
“I take it that you’ve finally remembered what happened with your parents?” He asked
“Yes, you killed them you scumbag!!” I yelled as I grabbed the collar of his shirt
“I wasn’t the one that pulled the trigger” he said with a shrug
“You ordered it while James Wilson pulled the trigger, I know so am going kill him, after I kill you” I said as I punched him again and he fell to the floor groaning
“My securities are right outside the door Alex, one word from me and you’ll be put behind bars so think twice before you hit me again” he said as he tried to stand up
“I don’t care if am behind bars as long as your life is ended”
“If you kill me, you will be killed too, will you be okay with that?” He asked
“I don’t need to kill you to end your life, am going to strip you off your position Mr Prime Minister, you and James Wilson so both of you should watch out for me”
“Come on Alex, am now the prime minister and you are one of the most talented Neurosurgeon in the world, I can even make the WHO announce you as the best Neurosurgeon, there’s really no need for this bad blood between us, what happened in the past is in the past so let’s just forget about it” he said and I scoffed
“Did you say forget? For years now I’ve been living a free life because I forgot and you want me to continue with that?”
“Ignorance is bliss my dear”
“Not for me!!” I yelled “You killed my parents unjustly and I won’t rest till you’ve paid for your sin, you and James Wilson”
“You will regret this decision Alex, you’ll only end up hurting yourself” he said
“I’ll take my chances fighting you than trying to ignore the fact that you killed my parents!”
“Fine then, you can’t say I didn’t warn you” he said with a shrug
“I’ll be back for you William Sanders” I said as I walked out
I took a cab home and went to the wall where I hanged Mom and Dad potrait
“Am sorry for forgetting how unjustly you guys died, I’ll get justice for both of you, I promise” I said as a tear rolled down my face
I stared at the potrait for a while longer and then I went to the sit on the couch
I took the remote and turned on the TV
Surprisingly, my name was displayed on the news
It was bodly written on the TV: Mr Alexander Sanchez is suffering from hand tremors
“It was just found out that the world known Neurosurgeon Mr Alexander Sanchez is suffering from hand tremors since he was a 12 year old kid” the reporter said as my medical report was suddenly displayed on the screen proving that I do have hand tremors
“Hand tremors is a nervous system disorder that causes rythmic shaking of the hand and people with hand tremors are usually restricted from being a surgeon but Mr Alexander Sanchez hid that from the general public so his medical license will probably be revoked and he won’t be able to work as a Surgeon anymore as the usual punishment but we are still waiting for the National hospital to make their decision” the reporter said and immediately my phone started ringing
The director of the national hospital was calling
“What the hell is going on???”
