(Here in,side his mansion, Derrick is visited by all the other head of the vampire families to discuss about the explosion that occurred last night. Lazarus who was more concerned about the situation asked Derrick what the police knew about this wh0le incident.)

Lazarus ➡ Derrick! What do you know about this? Has Xavier told you anything yet?
.

Derrick ➡ (sighs) Yes.. According to his report, the Giant werewolf was responsible for this.. He even fought hærd with the monster and barely made out it with his life. He’s still upset about the wh0le thing.
.

Victor ➡ What a brave son-in-law. I’m impressed.
.

Lucian ➡ Still, we need to know what our enemy is. Last night casualties included the werewolves.
.

Victor ➡ What are you saying Lucian?
.

Lucian ➡ I’m saying maybe the werewolves aren’t in cahoots with this monster. I don’t like them either but the werewolves aren’t that cruel to sacrifice some of their own for a massacre such as this.
.

Lazarus ➡ Hmm, you’re right.. I’ve also taken time to observe this monster. It’s big, strong and faster than any werewolf I’ve ever seen. In all our history, there has never been a werewolf that is as big, strong and faster like this one.

Lucian ➡ Yes. It’s even faster than a vampire.
.

Victor ➡ Impossible!!
.

Lazarus ➡ Open your eyes Victor! This monster outran your son in law. Tell me, isn’t that strange to you? There’s something odd about this.. Maybe there is something we don’t know about.
.

(In that moment, Victor’s phone message blinks instantly interrupting their argument. He soon checks his phone and see the news alert, reading the headline. Before long, his eyes popped wide open in shock as if they were going to burst out of their sockets. The others notice his reaction and asks what he saw in his phone, Instead of giving them an answer he hands his phone over to Derrick, who collects it and reads the news alert.
Feeling aghast after reading the headline of the news, Derricks smashes the phone in anger and scre-ms out loud.)

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

(The sound of Derrick’s scre-m echoes throughout the entire mansion and it also sent a cold chill to the spine of his colleagues, who sensed the rage in his voice. Without saying a word to anyone, Derricks zooms into his bedroom with sonic speed.
Meanwhile, Alice who’s in laying comfortably in bed, heard her husband’s scre-m and stood up trying to get out of the bed but her husband emerges into the bedroom abruptly before she could do so.

Alice ➡ My love.. What’s wrong?
.

Derrick ➡ Don’t bother me, woman!
.

Alice ➡ Seriously!? You scare the life out of me with your outrageous scre-m and you say I shouldn’t bother you.
.

Derrick ➡ (sighs) Haven’t you read the news?
.

Alice. ➡ No.. What happened?
.

Derrick ➡ Check the news and you’ll see.. If you’ll excuse me, I need to go find Gwen.
.

Alice ➡ Gwen! Did she do something wrong?
.

Infuriated by his wife’s silly questions, Derrick ignores her and zooms back downstairs to his colleagues but as soon as he gets there, Xavier and Olivia appear into the house.

Derrick ➡ Xavier! WHERE IS GWEN??

🦇 XAVIER 🦇

What a day it has been, First my sister refuses to talk and now that trash is giving the love of my life company.
There are times where I felt I wished I wasn’t born into this stupid world and this is one of those times. After my brutal battle against that monster, I wasn’t feeling the same way I used to feel ; Something had changed in me and it wasn’t just emotionally but psychologically. The Confidence I used to have had disappeared out of me and I felt like a loser.
I had no idea what was going on with me but I felt different than I was before. After leaving Petra’s place, I began to walk aimlessly on the streets not even paying attention to what was going on in the world. My phone had blinked message alerts several times but I refused to check it.
After a while, I sat on the bus bench, staring into the sky like a hypnotized person. Time went by and I had no idea how long I’ve been sitting on that bench, I didn’t really care and nothing else mattered to me in that moment.
Suddenly, I heard a voice in my head calling my name. At first, I thought I was crazy but then I realized the voice kept calling my name repeatedly. I stood up from the bench and began to look around but there was no one around me. People were just passing by me without even paying attention to me, so none of them looked suspicious to me.
In that moment, my eyes caught the sight of a lady in a white clad in a dark alley staring at me. She was right across the street and without delay, I crossed over to her place but before I could get to her, she had retreated back into the dark alley.

Personally, I didn’t want to follow her but my instincts were telling me to go ahead. Eventually, I soon followed my instincts and went into the dark alley. The lady was quite fast but I soon caught up to her ; I reached out to grab hold of her but to my surprise I realized that she was a ghost.

Xavier ➡ You’re a ghost?? Who are you?
.

Pandora ➡ No one.. But know this, you’re fighting the wrong enemy.. The real enemy is hiding among you.
.

Xavier ➡ What are you talking about?
.

Pandora ➡ Everything will be clear to you. Have faith in Gwen. She will lead you to the truth.
.

Xavier ➡ GWEN!? Hold on.. You know my sister!? Who are you?
.

Pandora ➡ Like I said, Everything will be clear to you.. Goodbye Xavier. Have faith in your sister.
.

Xavier ➡ WAIT!
.

Right before my eyes, The ghost disappeared into air leaving me in a state of confusion and shock. I had no idea what to do but the one thing I realized was Gwen knew something that nobody knew but knowing how stubborn she is, I doubt if I would get this information out of her.
Although I’ve known Gwen throughout my entire life, I’m now starting to think that I don’t know her at all. Of course, she has always been a jinx but there’s something about her that none of us knew. The one thing that kept ringing in mind was what the ghost said and that was to have faith in her.
After standing in that alley for some minutes, I decided to leave the place and go back to Police headquarters but immediately I came out of there, I collided with Olivia.

Olivia ➡ Xavier.
.

Xavier ➡ Olivia! What’s with the hurry?
.

Olivia ➡ Where’s Gwen?
.

Xavier ➡ She’s in police custody! What’s wrong?
.

Olivia ➡ Haven’t you read the news?
.

Xavier ➡ What news?
.

Olivia ➡ Look!!
.

I looked at the directions of Olivia’s hand which was pointing at the big screen on a building complex and was shocked when I saw the news that was being broadcasted.
Here on the big screen was Gwen’s picture with a bold headline written over it that said :-

“….. FAMOUS DOMINATRIX IN CAHOOTS WITH GIANT WEREWOLF, A TRAITOR IN DISGUISE “.

Xavier ➡ (shocked) What is this?

Olivia ➡ Did you know about this?
.

Xavier ➡ What? No! I swear, I didn’t have any knowledge about this.
.

Olivia ➡ Well, It doesn’t matter now! Everyone is coming after Gwen’s head for what happened last night.
.

Xavier ➡ We have to head home.
.

Olivia ➡ And do what? Dad will kill her.
.

Xavier ➡ He won’t.
.

Olivia ➡ Tell me Xavier! is Gwen really involved in this?
.

I wouldn’t say Gwen was involved in last nights massacre but if there is one thing that I’m sure about, it’s the fact that Gwen has a connected with that monster, after all she was the first person to have made contact with it and prove it’s existence. Still, I couldn’t tell Olivia about this. She doesn’t need to know anything not until the truth is found.

Xavier ➡ I really don’t know but let’s go home and figure this out.
.

Olivia ➡ Okay then. Let’s go.

30 minutes later, Olivia and I arrived home and little did we realize that things were already getting heated in,side the house. As soon as we got into the house, the first thing we saw was our father who was in a very foul mood ; It didn’t take me long to figure out that he knew about the news that was making Gwen a public enemy.

Derrick ➡ Xavier! WHERE IS GWEN??
.

Olivia ➡ Father, she’s been framed. It can’t be true.
.

Derrick ➡ Shut your mouth girl! Tell me Xavier! Where is Gwen?
.

Lazarus ➡ Isn’t she in police custody?
.

Derrick ➡ Police custody?
.

Lazarus ➡ Yes.. My daughter Leona informed me about it hours ago. You didn’t know?
.

Derrick ➡ Xavier! What is going on? Why is Gwen in police custody?
.

There was no going back now, the cat was out of the bag and denying this wh0le thing would be futile. So with a heavy heart, I told my father everything that happened during my fight with the Giant werewolf. He and his colleagues listened attentively to the wh0le thing and as soon as I was done, they all concluded that Gwen is a traitor.

Derrick ➡ CURSES! My own flesh and blood is a traitor. WHY ME?
.

Lucian ➡ This is unfortunate.
.

Lazarus ➡ It seems that we have a mole in our midst.
.

Victor ➡ She must be held accountable for this.
.

Olivia ➡ No! You’re all wrong! There must be a reason why she did this. Gwen is not a traitor.
.

Xavier ➡ Absolutely! I agree with Olivia. Gwen might be troublesome but she’s not a mole.
.

Lazarus ➡ Protecting your sister won’t change anything.. She must be dealt with.
.

Xavier ➡ You have no right to say that because there is no proof that she’s actually working with the giant werewolf. I suggest you keep your mouth shut.
.

Victor ➡ You dare talk to me like that?
.

Derrick. ➡ Xavier! Watch your mouth.
.

Lucian ➡ Enough already.. We need to alert the council. This matter is a serious one.
.

Victor ➡ Yes and Gwen must be put on trial and if she’s innocent. It’s all up to her now and the council’s decision.
.
…….. ” INDEED IT IS ”
.

Immediately we all heard that, we turned around and came face to face with head of the council, Severin.
Seeing him in the room was quite surprising cause nobody sensed his presence until he had spoken. In that moment, Severin approached us majestically as if he was walking on air. He had this air of superiority around him making us all adjust in a quiet and proper manner.

Severin ➡ Sorry for the unexpected entry but after seeing that headline, I just couldn’t sit at home. Derrick, where is that daughter of yours?
.

Derrick ➡ In Police custody.
.

Severin ➡ She must be put on trial. Everyone in this city wants her head. She’s now a public enemy. We must handle this matter before the heats gets too hot to control.
.

Derrick ➡ I know your eminence.
.

Severin ➡ The trail will be held tomorrow evening at the embassy! For your family’s sake, I hope she’s not mixed in all this cause if she is. Things will be bad for you. See you all tomorrow.
.

After he said that, Severin transformed into a bat and flew out of the mansion, leaving me, Olivia and our dad in a worried state. Things weren’t looking so good and not to mention the trial which was too soon.

Derrick ➡ Xavier!
.

Xavier ➡ Yes father.
.

Derrick ➡ Go to the NYPD and bring Gwen home, don’t allow any law enforcement agencies to put their hands on her. Bring her home so that we can deal with this and if she’s really involved in this.. I’ll end her life with my own hands.

🦇 GWEN 🦇

Damn! What a terrible mess I’ve gotten myself into but no matter what happens, I’m going to stay strong.
After my interrogation, I was thrown in a silver plated cell that would make me so weak that it would be impossible for me to escape if I tried. Hours passed since I was kept in this damn cell and there was no sign of anyone coming to bail me.
Xavier can keep me here all he wants but there’s nothing that will make me talk. The reason why he wants to capture Arthur is so that he can exact his vengeance on him but there’s no way that will happen, not while I’m still alive.
As time passed by, I began to think of Arthur, wondering what he was doing at this moment. Knowing him well enough, I know he must be worried about me ; the poor darling may be trying to get to me but it would be better if we kept our distance cause if we get close, Xavier might figure out the puzzle behind Arthur’s identity.
While I was still in my cell thinking about my doomed situation, a female werewolf cop approached my cell smiling at me coyly. She had to bang my cell for some minutes before dropping the big bomb right into my face.

Female Cop ➡ What’s up red hair? Feeling lonely? Besides traitors like you deserve it.
.

Gwen ➡ Leave me alone B–tch.
.

Female cop ➡ Quit acting tough you jinx. The world knows about your alliance with that monster, everyone wants your head. Your punishment will be a good start to clear our clan’s name.
.

Gwen ➡ What are you talking about?
.

Female cop ➡ Let me show you, traitor!
.

I watched with keen interest as the c*cky B–tch brought out her phone and showed me a new headline with my picture underneath it. My eyes opened widely as I read the headline and it was then I understood what the B–tch was talking about but what baffled me was how the story got out. Someone must have sold me out.
.

Female cop ➡ You see that? You’re finished. It won’t be long before you’re strung up on the noose.
.

Gwen ➡ It doesn’t matter.. You dumb folks have no idea what’s going on.
.

Female cop ➡ You can’t escape from this. Your doomsday is near and I can’t wait to see the look on your clan’s face as they bear the mark of shame forever.
.

Gwen ➡ Talking to you is a waste of time. Go put tickets on cars or better yet go handle the traffic light.
.

Female cop ➡ You slick B–tch! Keep talking and mark my words, I’ll be there you hang.
.

Gwen ➡ You dumb furry B–tch, this isn’t the medieval age. This is the 21th century and things don’t work out that way. Who knows I might walk free out of this.
.

The Female cop fumed in anger and rage, She wanted to rile me up but her plan backfired. Before she could say anything, Xavier appeared at the scene. He had a worried and I knew things weren’t going to be easy for me.
.

Xavier ➡ What’s going on here?
.

Female cop ➡ I’m just checking the traitorous prisoner sir.
.

Xavier ➡ Watch your mouth sergeant. Open the cell.
.

Female cop ➡ But she’s under custody.
.

Xavier ➡ OPEN THE CELL, DAMN IT.
.

Female cop ➡ (scared) O-okay.
.

Xavier stood gloomily as the cell was opened, He said nothing or made any attempt to do anything. As soon as the cell was open, He went in and dragged me out by my arm leading me out of the station.
.

Gwen ➡ Ow! You’re hurting my arm. Where are you taking me?
.

Xavier gave no answer, he just kept dragging me until we got out of the police headquarters and the moment we got outside, the press and large number of crowd were waiting for us outside.
Cameras flashed in the air making it hærd for me to see, and as for the crowd, they were busy throwing stuff at me and calling me names.
The crowd didn’t piss me off but what made me mad was the press. Don’t this fools realize that my picture won’t appear on their cameras. Vampire images are invincible to any mirror reflecting objects. We just hire painters 🖌or artists to draw our pictures as portraits.
Before the press could bombard us with their silly questions, Xavier and I got into his car and drove off straight back home. we were also accompanied by 2 black cars. After we had driven for about a mile, Xavier tried his luck to make me talk one more time.

Xavier ➡ Listen to me Gwen! Strange things have been happening around you and I demand to know what’s going on! Everyone knows about your alliance with that monster and there’s no going back now. The council wants to put you on trial and if you’re found guilty, things are going to get pretty messy. So for the last time, tell me everything you know. There might be a chance for you to be free from all this. Dad is mad about this and Olivia is worried sick about you. Just do the right thing.

Gwen ➡ I can’t talk now.. Not yet! There’s more to this and it’s bigger than all of us. When the time is right, I’ll let everyone know.
.

Xavier ➡ You don’t have enough time. Your trial is tomorrow and if things go south, your life might be in peril. You have to talk now.
.

Gwen ➡ Sorry Xavier, I can’t.
.

Xavier ➡ Alright then. May the odds be in your favor.
