“Clarissa'”he muttered in shock

“Dylan unbelievable”I said covering my mouth

“What are you doing in California”he asked

“Long story what about you”I asked immediately and he sighed

“Just came here to get something before I finally leave”he said and I nodded..

“Care to have a drink”I asked

“Uhmm I have something to attend to but I won’t mind sparing some time”he said and I downcasted look became bright

“Ok let’s go to the nearest eatery then”I said and he nodded

“Let’s use my car since yours is faulty”he said and I nodded

How will I eventually go home

“I will get my car repairer to fix it for you later”he said as if reading my mind

I sighed in relief

“Well after some things I need to clear up ,I will be relocating”he said after we got to the restaurant and had a drink

“What brought you to California”he asked

“Umm I came here to explore the city”I said obviously lying and he eyed me suspiciously..

Well Dylan was always inquisitive and had a detecting spirit

“Ok I see ,never thought of seeing you after many years”he said and I chuckled

“Have you heard from Natasha”I asked the question bothering me since

I noticed he nearly spilled his drink

“I don’t know ,I haven’t seen her for a long time just like you”he said and this time I eyed him suspiciously because it’s obvious he was lying

But am not going to press further because I will get to Tasha by myself

” I heard everything Clarissa so I wasn’t surprised”he said and I twitched my brows

I felt my baby bump and I giggled

Wow is this how it feels to be pregnant

I felt a sharp pain at my side and I yelled

“I don’t know but seriously am dying “I said and immediately tears rushed out of my eyes

“Let me help you up”he said and I eyed him and tried getting up by myself

The pains came again and I fell down to the bed but Dave was quick to hold me..

“Stop being stubborn “he said and immediately he carried me up in a bridal style out of the room

I opened her ward gently and saw her sleeping peacefully

I can’t believe it’s just pregnancy symptoms and not something serious

The doctor had clearly explained everything to me and I couldn’t help but chuckle

The cramps would be coming from time to time and the doctor had offered a solution but jeez.
The solution was stupid

I saw her move her hands on the bed signifying she would soon be awake

I sat at the dinning waiting for Tasha to get prepared and come down

Well we are going to the venue of the competition together in my car

No more skateboarding

I heard some footsteps up the stairs and I turned to see Tasha coming down gently

Well she can’t run anymore because she finds it hærd to do so

“Good morning “she muttered and I was shocked

We always start each day exchanging words

“Good morning”I replied slowly gaining my senses

She walked to the table and eyed it disgustingly

“Dave am hungry”she said and I stared at her

On the table was different delicacies so I don’t get the reason she should be hungry

“Hello I guess you are not blind to see the food on the table “I said and she scoffed

“I don’t like any of this,the baby doesn’t like any of this”she said pouting like a baby

This is not working on me
I have heard of how pregnant women behave.
And I swear I won’t be able to tolerate it

“Then go prepare what ever you like”I said and to my utmost surprise she sat down on the floor and started sobbing

“Wickedness in the highest order, can’t be a real gentleman for once “she said and started sobbing more

Ahh

“, Fine let’s strike a deal,I will prepare everything you want me to prepare and you would be my date to the party tonight “I said and she placed her index finger as if thinking about it

“Fine it’s a deal”she said getting up and I couldn’t find a trace of tears in her eyes again

“These are what I want you to prepare for me “she said and my eyes nearly popped out of its socket

Mexican Dishes and Italian dishes
Does she want to kill me

“What about the competition”I asked to escape from this punishment

“Forget about it and start cooking”she said

“I have a date to prepare for”she winked at me before going up the stairs

I stared at the list again and wiped the bead of perspiration rolling down my face in the air conditioner

Dylan’s POV
“I heard they would be going out for a party today and she will be his date”Alexa said and I nodded happily

Everything is slowly falling into place

“We send the men to go get her this night”I said and she nodded

“See you later and a job well done in anticipation”she said and I nodded

Only if she knows am also going to kill Dave tonight ,she won’t be this happy

Never you dine with the devil but if you feel like dining use a long spoon

Alexa’s POV
“Do you really trust this guy Alexa”Alicia asked and I smirked

“No I don’t,once I get Tasha out of the way I will get people to assassinate him “I said and Anna gave me a high-five while Alicia nodded

“This is kind of risky and to be frank I don’t see anything that Tasha did to you “Alicia said and I shot her a stare

“Don’t worry Alexa, Alicia is always a bad egg. Everything would work out fine”she said and we high-five again while Alicia scoffed

I walked to the kitchen and met Dave arranging the table with the different delicacies

But I really don’t have any appetite anymore

“I have finished preparing everything on your list”he said and

“You did a nice job but dude I lost my appetite . Let’s get ready for the party “I said and his mouth dropped down in shock

He was about saying something when the doorbell rang

I went to get it and standing before me was a woman with two kids

“Who’s at the door Tasha”Dave asked since I was delaying

“I don’t know come take a look at her”I said looking at the woman with a mocking grin on her face

“Mabel “Dave called obviously shocked and stuttering
