I dressed up for school, descending down the staircase, I stop in my trackers .

When I noticed that the door of room at the extreme, was slightly open.

I made to walk past the room but I decided to go in and check what’s in side.

Ever since I stepped my feet in,side this house, I haven’t seen that room open.

I inheald deeply , before walking in,side the room, the room was filled with darkness.

I made to walk out of the room, because I was scared of darkness, but I stopped when I heard the noise of someone crying.

I became more alarm , more than I was before , who is there.

I shouted quietly, I t-rn on the switch light of the room, the room was filled with Lot’s of pictures.

And dirt’s, I went back to the door and close it gently .

I looked around the room and I was shocked and surprise to see a picture of a little girl.

In the middle of a young woman, and the man was holding hand’s with a little boy.

I looked closely to the picture and tears trickled down my eyes , on seeing that I was the little girl.

That means, that’s my mom and dad on that picture, I held my head, as so many things came flashing through my head.

I held my head so tight, mom!!! Mummy !!!, don’t leave , me here.

That’s the only thing I could remember , I opened my eye’s and my wh0le body was filled with Sweat’s.

I was gradually losing my strength, I mistakenly hit my head on the door on the left side of the room.

I was shocked when the door went open, at first I was scared ,but I picked up courage and entered in,side.

I was determined on finding out ,who was in that room and why was he or she locked up in that room and why.

I was surprised to see that, a young woman and a boy older than me.

Tied up together with a chained ,locked with a big key, they look scary and unkept.

I stepped backwards ,when I noticed that they were just crying .

My hand mistakingly hit the cup on the table and it fall down to the floor.

I looked at the table and was that it was filled with company doc-ments.

I grabbed the wh0le papers flipping through the wh0le stuff and gasped seeing each of them were confidential information about everything my dad owned.

Since it was boldily written, Donald’s group of company, and this is also the exact same doc-ments that uncle Richærd gave me to sign.

What is are they doing here?

Who are these people ,why are they chained.

“Suzette!!”.

Aunty tasha yell’s my name.

This time, I ignored her.

What are they doing with all this papers? Was this what she wanted me to sign that day?

But why?

And why was she hiding it from me?

Oh God! All these are so confusing right now.

I quickly slipped three papers out of the wh0le file and folded it as I carefully placed the file back on the table where I saw It.

I hurriedly went to the entrance of her door and left looking both sideways before hurrying over our of the room.

I sighed staring at the papers I held on my hand.

Jeez!

I will have to find a place to hide it.

“Suzette!!”. A shout followed , as i walked in,side the kitchen, I looked around the kitchen hastily wondering where would be a great hiding place.

“Suzette !!”. She continued shouting. “Open this door now”.

I rushed to my school bag zipping it open shoving the papers into it making sure my books hid it before zipping the bag close.

I then went back to the door opening it and she stepped in immediately landing a slap on my face.

I stepped back in shock. Does she have to do that all the time?

“What took you so long to answer me? “You better give me reasonable answers .

“Aunty, I was trying to wash the dishes ”.

“You were washing the dishes ?”. She repeated starring at me scornfully . “So that was why you couldn’t hear my voice? Hmm? Is that so?”.

“Yes, Aunty”. I moved back so she wouldn’t have a reason to slap me again.

“Sorry ma”. I replied timidly.

Why is my life this dramatic?

I need to find out who that women and her child is , and why aren’t they talking.

Why they locked them up side that room, what’s there offense.

“Look at that bitch!!”. I frowned staring at Kim “Gosh! She annoys me every day”.

“I wonder whats going on there that’s making her laugh like that.

Kim was on her usual table talking with Lucas, and Becky.

“I even thought she and Lucas were at loggerheads with the way she was just putting up an act saying she won’t work with him and now,
look at her, rubbing shoulders with the same boy”.

I looked at their table again and my anger rose with the way lucas hands were around her shoulder making them look like a couple or something.

“I’m not sure she can get angry at him though”. Betty replied.

“Or weren’t you the one who said she’s crushing on him?”.

“She is. I know Kim, she likes lucas, even before he dated amber but she won’t admit it.

Betty sighed looking at me. “Pearl! I didn’t know it has gotten to this extent .

“Betty, you don’t know how much I hate girl”.even when we were friends before.

“For real ?”.

“Yes now. And she was actually the reason why Lucas and Amber broke up, I’m sure she must have said something to him that time”.

“Ahn! Ahn! Pearl, how are you sure?”.

“I’m 100% percent sure. That Kim is a witch and I’m happy that she can never get the chance to date Kingsley or Lucas “.

Betty chuckled. “Pearl. Try and calm down a little. I’m on your side but hating her won’t result to anything. And you and I know that you like Kingsley .

I bursted into laughter. “You and assumptions !”.

Almost immediately, amber sat down on the chair next to us with a loud thump as there was a furious look on her face.

“Amber Are you okay?”. I ask. “Why is your face like that?”.

“I’m fine. Take, here’s the magazine you asked me to bring”. She mumbled as she handed it over to me.

What’s with the long face , Amber ?

I hate her so much, she is just a maid ,but she has already taken all the wealthy and handsome boys in this school.

But not my Trevor, first it was Lucas and now it is Trevor and very soon it will be Kingsley.

What did she thinks ,of her self ,she can just come and show up from nowhere to gain Trevor’s attention, I’ll show that bitch the stuff I’m made of.

“Yes!”. I encouraged Amber happily.
