Defiled (episode 6)
It takes two to tangle, hence the reason love, affection and feelings between two parties in a relationsh¡p has to be mutual for things to work out. It isn’t just enough to love someone, if that person doesn’t give back the same energy you are giving, then the relationsh¡p might suffer.
Sam had been going through constant emotional neglect from his dear wife and it affected their intimate life as a couple. It’s apparent that the reason Belinda was denying her husband of Intimacy had nothing to do with their feelings not being mutual but rather because she was still traumatized from the rape incident. However, it’s such a relief that their issues had now been resolved and the couple were now on the road to reviving the lost spark in their intimate life.
After Belinda planted a soft k-ss on Sam’s l-ips and whispered some affectionate triggering words into his ears, she looked into his eyes and could see the shock in them. At that moment, Sam was beyond shocked because he didn’t see the k-ss coming at all. He never imagined that his wife would initiate the first k-ss or make the first move for Intimacy after how scarred and traumatized she had been as regards anything that concerned Intimacy, hence the reason the k-ss came as a huge surprise.
Immediately Belinda’s l-ips parted from that of Sam, he gently held her on the wa-ist and pulled her closer to him. Without hesitating, he reciprocated the k-ss and this time around, their l-ips were locked for a very long time.
As the couple k-ssed passionately, the wh0le world seemed to pause just to pay attention to such magical moment between the lovebirds. Their heartbeats raced nonstop as they tried to gasp some air after every k-ss. Sam tried to be extremely gentle on his wife so as not to trigger any haunting memories from the past. They stood at the door k-ssing till the door couldn’t do justice to the moment anymore. Sam gently carried Belinda and laid her on a couch in the livingroom. Immediately he laid her on the couch, he reached for her blouse and took it off before proceeding to take off her trouser. While taking her clothes off, she reached for his clothes and took them off as well. In a short while, they were both completely unclad.
That was the first time since after the robbery attack that Sam was seeing Belinda without clothes on. The last time he saw her unclad was on their honeymoon before the robbery incident. It was quite refreshing to see her beautiful body again after such a long time. However, as Sam car-ssed every part of Belinda’s body, he couldn’t help but have memory flashes of how the robbers raped his wife. He tried his possible best to shut down those haunting memories so as not to ruin such a happy moment and he succeeded.
On the other hand, Belinda was also having memory flashes from the time she was raped. It first began after Sam took off her clothes. She also tried her best to shut down the sad memories but unlike Sam, she couldn’t successfully take her mind off it.
Due to the haunting memory flashes, Belinda began resisting Sam bit by bit from making further advances towards her and it didn’t take too long for him to notice the sudden resistance from his wife. Once Sam was convinced that Belinda was resisting his s€×ual advances, he stopped what he was doing and held her chin up; “Is everything ok?” He asked and she shook her head in disapproval. Without hesitating, Sam began to inquire what the problem was. “Why are you resistant this?” He calmly asked, “I don’t think I can continue because everything you are doing reminds me of those robbers. I’m scared and tensed” she sadly revealed.
After Belinda’s was done revealing to Sam what the problem was, he quickly reassured her that he was her ‘husband’ and not the ‘robbers’ so there was nothing to be afraid of. “Babe, I understand how you feel and how this might be a lot for you to handle due to the memory from the past, but I want you to know that you are safe with me. I’m your husband and would never hurt you. Please don’t let those robbers ruin such as beautiful moment like this. I miss every bit of you and feel alive again by being this intimate with you. Focus your mind on this moment alone and forget about every other thing. Let me correct every bad image of Intimacy you have in your mind. Allow me to make you feel like a woman again. Just trust me babe” he calmly said.
Those words from Sam shattered every walls around Belinda’s heart and also laid down her guards. At that moment, she was vulnerable and didn’t have the willpower anymore to resist any advances from her husband. She could feel his heart beat as she stared deeply into his lovely eyes. All she wanted at that moment was for him to take her away to as many wonderland of ecstacy as possible.
On seeing that Belinda wasn’t rigid anymore, Sam planted a k-ss of her l-ips and continued from where they stopped. He made love to his wife that day like never before. Despite being extremely gentle with her, that didn’t stop him from enjoying her body to the fullest. He was also very intentional in ensuring that Belinda was equally enjoying every bit of the moment. He paid close attention to her pleasure s₱0ts and focused more on the things and areas that gave her more pleasure. The couple made love till they were both drained of every energy they had.
Deep down, Belinda was happy to be touched by her husband. She honestly missed him and was glad that he had given her good reasons to look forward to love making and intimacy again. As the couple laid on the floor almost breathless, Sam reached for his wife to cuddle her and she gladly fell into his warm embrace. She laid her head on his chest and gently closed her eyes to catch some rest. The couple slept off afterwards and that was the beginning of a new dawn in their intimate life.
It’s been a full month since the couple began therapy and it was sadly coming to an end. Belinda and Sam were extremely grateful to Lara for all the help she had given to them since they came in contact with her. It was such a sad last day of therapy as the couple went through their final session. Lara was highly impressed at the massive improvement in the mental health of the couple and couldn’t stop gushing at how amazing they now looked as compared to their first day of therapy. After their last session was over, the couple said their finally ‘Goodbye’ to Lara before leaving. Sam gave her an additional bonus payment for how well she got the job done. Lara appreciated the kind gesture and thanked Sam when he gave her the fat envelope.
After that day, Sam began to make plans of selling their old house which they only stayed for 3 months before moving to the rental home they now stayed in. The rental house was paid for two months and they were few weeks away from their rent expiring so Sam had to act fast. He didn’t want to take Belinda back to their old house with so many bad memories which could affect the massive progress in her healing. Without even thinking twice, he got a real estate agent involved and put the old house for sale.
While the old house was still in the market with few interested buyers checking it out, Sam began looking for another property to buy in a secured area. Fortunately, there was a listing suited in a very secured estate within his budget so without hesitating, the preparation to buy the beautiful bungalow began.
As God may have it, a real estate investor who usually bought properties for rental purposes picked interest in Sam’s old house and without much negotiation, the house was sold so it made it easier for Sam to pay for the new house with the money he got from selling his old house.
In no time, the paper works for the new house began and the house was paid in full. It was such a relief to Belinda when Sam informed her they were moving to a new house. Belinda’s joy knew no bound because she thought they were going back to their old house all along and it made her really scared.
Life for the couple looked promising once again and it made their healing easier and smoother. Belinda began making plans to resume her business which was abandoned for a very long time. She was an interior decorator and event planner and couldn’t wait to resume her life from where it stopped.
The couple moved to their new home two weeks later and started life afresh. They deliberately began to work on their relationsh¡p, friendsh¡p and marriage all over again. It wasn’t rosy but they were determined to take their relationsh¡p back to where it used to be and even exceed it. Sam started afresh to walk his way into her heart just like he did when they met several years back. He was intentional about making her trust him again and as time went by, Belinda’s walls crushed completely. She became less tensed and was no longer in constant doubts. They began to go for outings and dates just like they used to. Everything was going smoothly and blissful until something unexpected happened one fateful afternoon.
It happened that Sam and Belinda went out for brunch. They were seated close to the entrance of the restaurant having a good time when a guy and a lady walked in holding hands. Due to how Belinda was seated directly facing the door, she could see people walk in and out of the restaurant. Everything was chill until all of a sudden, Belinda froze and wasn’t talking anymore. At first, Sam didn’t notice till he realized she wasn’t eating her food. He looked up only to see his wife’s eyes wide opened as though she had seen a ghost. Confused on what was happening, he quickly shook her.
“Babe, what’s it? Why are you in shock?” Sam curiously inquired but got no reply. He turned his back and looked towards the direction his wife’s eyes was fixed on and instantly, his eyes caught a very familiar face holding hands with a lady at the counter.
Immediately Sam saw the familiar face, his mind raced down memory lane and before he could put all the puzzles together in his mind as to whom the strange guy was, Belinda finally spoke up. “It’s him, babe it’s him” she shocking said. It was then that it dawned on Sam who the strange guy was and it was no other person than the leader of the robbery gang that rapped Belinda. The shock on Sam’s face when this revelation hit him was beyond words can describe. Before Belinda could utter another word, Sam got up from his chair in full rage; “Stay here and don’t move” he instructed and headed towards the counter.
On seeing that Sam was ready for a bloodbath, Belinda quickly picked up her phone and dialed the police number. She begged them to hurry to the restaurant before the suspect runs away. Without wasting time, the police were already on their way to the location. Before Belinda could finish calling the police, Sam had gotten to the counter and was ready to create a bloody scene. She wanted to go there but was too scared and also had to obey her husband who instructed her not to move.
When Sam got to where the suspect stood with a lady that seemed like his girlfriend, he tapped the rapist shoulder from behind and he turned backwards instantly. Before anyone could figure out what was happening, Sam said “Remember Me?” and landed a heavy punch on the rapist nose.
Immediately the rapist fell on the floor, Sam picked him up, landed another blow on his face and furiously said; “You are dead today!”.
