One of the perks of getting drunk with a girl is that by the end of it all, you end up sleeping with her. That’s right, Lola and I had s£x and it was wonderful.

Kabir ➡ It’s alright. It’s clear that you didn’t intentionally lead the detective here but it’s alright.

Sonny ➡ But she knows about our location. Isn’t that a problem?

Kabir ➡ Not at all. Ade and I have talked with the others and we’ve decided to let her join us.

Sonny ➡ You trust her?
.

Kabir ➡ Ade believes that we can.
.

Sonny ➡ Okay, so should I bring her here?
.

Kabir ➡ There’s no need. We’ve already sent someone to handle that. You on the other hand have an assignment.

Sonny ➡ What’s the assignment?
.

Kabir ➡ Yesterday, our satellite picked up images of one of the rogue elites within the streets of Ikoyi. His name is Gabriel aka (Volt).

Sonny ➡ Is it a coincidence?
.

Kabir ➡ Very unlikely. I have a feeling that he’s up to something.
.

Sonny ➡ So what am I do?
.

Kabir ➡ Find him and apprehend him. With your abilities that shouldn’t be a problem.
.

Sonny ➡ Ikoyi is quite a big place. How do I find this guy?
.

Samson ➡ Don’t worry. I have a device that can help you locate him. Here take this.

Sonny ➡ What’s this?
.

Samson ➡ An electromagnetic device that locates high voltage ⚡️.
.

Sonny ➡ But what if leads me to a transformer.
.

Kabir ➡ (laughs) He has a point.
.

Samson ➡ Relax! I’ve known Gabriel for a long time and I know a lot about him. Gabriel’s ability to harness electricity has made him a walking transformer. A transformer carries about 120 to 240 volts.

Sonny ➡ Isn’t that too much?
.

Samson ➡ Yes but Gabriel carries only 80 volts. That amount only is enough to power up dozens of houses and lucky for you, Ikoyi has been in the dark for 2 days now. Finding Gabriel won’t be so difficult.

Sonny ➡ What will I do if I run one of the rogue Elites?
.

Kabir ➡ Don’t worry about that. You have that camouflage watch don’t you?
.

Sonny ➡ Yes I do.
.

Samson ➡ Use it to disguise yourself.
.

Kabir ➡ If anything goes wrong. Retreat immediately. Do you understand?

Sonny ➡ Sure.
.

Samson ➡ Carry on then and remember. Be careful.

Being assigned on a mission like this is the thing I needed to prove myself to the agency how useful I can be. After collecting the device from Samson’s hands, I left the agency and headed to Ikoyi.

At first, I thought this assignment was going to be easy since I had the camouflage watch and the device but after spending almost the entire day wondering around Ikoyi without any traces of my target, I felt exhausted and disappointed. I had concluded that this mission was nothing but a waste of time but after all that hassle, things started to get interesting.

At around 6:00pm, here I was sitting in a restaurant eating a hot plate of rice and beans when people started buzzing about the ecl¡pse which had just occured. The bright moon rays were gone making the streets more darker than it was. I couldn’t understand why people were getting excited about the ecl¡pse cause I’ve often heard that it causes nothing but bad luck and little did I and the other people know that we were about to experience it.
Suddenly like a flash of lightening, the electricity in the restaurant and outside the streets were gone. It was a massive power outrage but what surprised me was the fact that the electromagnetic device was acting up like crazy. The indicator on the device showed red light and warning signals showing a bizarre amount of electric voltage and the location of this electric vibe came from the direction of the electric power company that distributes the electricity to all of Lagos.
Whilst the people were busy guessing about the cause of blackout, I already knew what was the cause of it but still how was this possible? Samson told me that Gabriel has harness only 80volts but now it seems he’s harnessing the entire city’s electric power. As bad as this plan was, I decided to leave the restaurant and headed towards his location but there was something that didn’t make sense. What’s the gain in taking out the entire city’s electricity? Could it be that he and the others were planning something or is it just that he was doing this to cause a distraction. Either way, I just have to get to his location and find out.

Just minutes before the blackout, here was Chioma and Eze in a small hotel room in yaba trying to spend some steamy quality time with each other. As the couple were busy exchanging a steamy hot k!$s on the bed they were about to get busy on, Eze suddenly pulls back pinning down Chioma’s hands while staring at her face.

Chioma ➡ What is it? Why did you stop?
.

Eze ➡ We should get married. Life is too short.
.

Chioma ➡ Come on babe, let’s talk about this some other time. Right now I need you to go balls deep in me.

Eze ➡ Relax, we have all the time in the world. I just want us to talk about our future.

Chioma ➡ Eze, please don’t ruin this moment. I’m dying to get laid. Stop this talk and handle me like a man should. I’m w-t for you already.

Just as the pair were about to continue their love affair, the light in the hotel goes off completely and soon the entire neighborhood around the hotel too goes dark. Frustrated by this sudden occurrence, Chioma hisses annoyingly and gently pushes her companion off her and begins to complain.

Chioma ➡ That’s why I said we should go to an exclusive hotel. This shabby hotels irritates me a lot. It will take a while before the lights are back on.

Eze ➡ I don’t think the lights will be back.
.

Chioma ➡ What do you mean?
.

Eze ➡ There’s no light in Lagos. It’s a massive blackout and…. Hold on.

Chioma ➡ What!? Did you see something?
.

Eze ➡ Something is going on in the electric company. Their transformers are acting like crazy. Jesus.. It can’t be.
.

Chioma ➡ Chineke! Just tell me what is going on?
.

Eze ➡ Its Gabriel.
.

Chioma ➡ Gabriel? You mean Volt?
.

Eze ➡ That’s him. Come on, let’s go check it out.
.

Chioma ➡ Check it out? Eze are you crazy? We can’t go there not unless you want us to get electrocuted to death.
.

Eze ➡ Well, let’s warn the others. Something is about to go down.

Chioma ➡ God. What a miserable night.

Meanwhile in that same moment somewhere around the Lagos bridge, Eve who is together with Ali and Sunday suddenly becomes alert after sensing the dark vibe from the sudden black out. She stands still for a while until Ali asks her what that matter was.

Ali ➡ What’s going on?
.

Eve ➡ It’s Gabriel. He’s harnessing Lagos’s electricity.
.

Sunday ➡ Any ideas on what he’s planning?
.

Eve ➡ No but it can’t be good. You both go find Ade, I’ll head to where this traitor is.
.

Sunday ➡ Go where? Let’s go jare.
.

Ali ➡ I agree. Besides you can’t fight Gabriel all by yourself.
.

Eve ➡ Okay then, give Beatrice a call. We’ll need her.
.

Sunday ➡ I hope she picks, assassins hærdly pick their calls. I wonder where the lioness is now.

Somewhere in the slums of Ajegunle, the foxy lioness was being followed by Richærd, the human adaptor who after getting ignored and rejected countless times refused to give up on her. Despite doing all she could to discourage her annoying admirer, Beatrice was soon getting tired of this and decided to see what Richærd had to put on the table.

Richærd ➡ Come on Beatrice, nothing you do will stop me from chasing you. Just give a chance to….

Beatrice ➡ Okay, okay, okay. Fine. What is it you want from me?

Richærd ➡ I want to take you out.
.

Beatrice ➡???

Moving instantly like a cheetah on the run, Beatrice brings out her 2 silver pistols strapped behind her h¡ps and fires multiple and accurate shots at the heads of 2 unknown beings clad in misty white cloaks. As the beings vanish into thin air, Beatrice maintains her stance focusing her gaze on the direction of the dark alley from where the 2 mysterious beings suddenly appeared. Richærd who was confused by what was going on began to ask Beatrice if something was wrong.

Richærd ➡ Beatrice, are you alright?
.

Beatrice ➡ Didn’t you see those white beings?
.

Richærd ➡ I didn’t see anything. There’s no one there.
.

Beatrice ➡ ARE YOU BLIND??
.

Richærd ➡ No I’m not… ARRRRGGHHHH!!
.

Shocked by Richærd’s outburst, Beatrice’s body soon starts to shake but she holds her ground and her grip on her guns.

Beatrice ➡ WILL YOU STOP s¢ræmING?
.

Richærd ➡ There’s something in the darkness.
.

Beatrice ➡ Richærd! Stop doing that. You’re scaring me.
.

Richærd ➡ Shoot Beatrice, SHOOT THAT THING!

Beatrice ➡ What thing?
.

In that moment, a zombie like being with green eyes and foamy mouth appears out of the shadows and charges blindly towards Beatrice and Richærd. Despite being scared to the core, Beatrice focused her aim and plants 2 bullets into the zombie’s head killing it instantly.
.

Beatrice ➡ What the f–k is going on?
.

Richærd ➡ How should I know? Let’s get out of here.
.

Beatrice ➡ Shush! Something is coming.
.

As the pair become silent, they begin to hear loud footsteps heading towards them and within a matter of seconds, a horde of ugly zombie like beings emerge out of the shadows running like crazed animals. Seeing how dangerous the situation was, both Beatrice and Richærd soon react by taking off with incredible speed but before they could get far, they soon intercept with Ifeanyi and Rollins who are both in,side a small jeep.

Ifeanyi ➡ Oya make una enter.

Rollins ➡ Hurry o.
.

Richærd ➡ Thanks for the save.
.

Beatrice ➡ Can you tell us what is going on?
.

Rollins ➡ We don’t know but we’ve received information from Eze that Gabriel is the source of this blackout. We need to get to him.
.

Richærd ➡ Who cares about blackout? There are monsters chasing us.
.

Rollins ➡ Ogbeni! This is beyond our capabilities. Let’s leave this to Ade.

Beatrice ➡ Where is he now?
