Trusting people is one of the things I don’t easily do especially not when life has associated me with different kinds of people in the past. Every one I met is worse than the next, they all care about their own interest that they’d stoop so low to hurt anyone to achieve their ambition. There are some that have lied and made promises to me but they’ve all disappointed me in the end.
Nothing hurts more in life than to be surrounded with fakes, the people you thought are your friends end up stabbing you in the back leaving you in a state of misery and utter regret. I used to feel that way but not anymore cause now, I push back and make sure those that hurt me or others have the taste of their own medicine. Being different has it own perks especially when one is born with a strange ability. Having the power to transform into anybody or anything made my agenda very easier to accomplish. In a world that is lives in the cybernetic age, it’s quite impossible to have a private life or do things in secret. Everywhere one goes, there’s surveillance watching their every move.
Luckily for me, I don’t have that problem. I can do anything or be anything I choose to become without any limitations. Over the last decade, I’ve been living my life to the fullest and I thought to myself that nobody could stop me until I came across Ade and Felicia.
This wasn’t my first encounter with people who were like me unlike the others Ade and Felicia were different. They both gave off a kind of vibe that made me think twice about what I had planned to do to them. At first, I thought they had come to catch me but then the unexpected occured. Considering the fact that I’m the type of guy that doesn’t trust easily I was totally surprised when I accepted the offer that these 2 presented to me. It’s very unlikely for me to pay heed to some strangers not to mention also agreeing their offer but in all honesty though it was the money that made me not to turn down the offer.

Couple of hours later, I came to Lagos with both Ade and Felicia. This was my first time in coming to the city, I was expecting we’d travel by plane but we teleported there instantly. Experiencing teleportation was unlike anything I’ve ever been through, it was just too amazing and exhilarating . After we arrived in Lagos, we drove to some posh villa in one of exclusive urban neighborhoods in the city and as it turns out, Ade owns the place.
I’ve seen lots of posh houses before but none of them has the flare of wealth and elegance like Ade’s house. As soon as we got there, Ade led me into his house where I was introduced to the other elites. Most of them were all mature only a few were my age mates.

Ade ➡ Evening everyone, I’d like you all to meet Hussein. He’s also one of us.

Kaityln ➡ Hmm, such a charming fellow.

Rollins ➡ What’s his ability?

Felicia ➡ Shape-shifting. He can transform into anyone.

Eze ➡ Let him show us.

Hussein ➡ Sorry.. I’m not here to entertain you people. I’m here for business.

Chioma ➡ Mmm, straight to the point abi?

Ace ➡ Is he the only elite you found?

Felicia ➡ No but he’s the only one that accepted our offer.

Ifeanyi ➡ Tch….

Richærd ➡ Guy, Wetin now?

Ifeanyi ➡ Excuse me for saying this but can this guy be trusted?

Anyone would have felt annoyed by that statement but not me, I too didn’t trust anyone here and it’s not like I’m here to join them either. Once this gig is over, I collect my pay and move on with my life.

Kabir ➡ Ifeanyi, that’s not a nice thing to say.

Sonny ➡ He’s right sir and besides, this guy doesn’t look like a team player.

Hussein ➡ You’re right, I’m not here to join your little club. I’m here for the money, that’s all.

Ade ➡ ENOUGH!!! I’ve heard enough of this nonsense. This isn’t the time for us to be squabbling with each other.

Eve ➡ I agree. Prometheus are out there and only God knows what they’re up to. It’s better we act now.

Rollins ➡ OK.. What’s the plan?

Ace ➡ Since Prometheus have already made their move, I suggest we do the same but in order for us to crush them, we need to know their objectives.

Kaitlyn ➡ The only way to do that is to have a mole in their midst.

Ace ➡ Don’t fret. Thanks to Ade and Felicia’s timing, we now have one. Hussein here is a shape shifter and he’s going to be our mole.

Eze ➡ That’s smart but how do we find Prometheus?
.

Samson ➡ I’ve been searching for them ever since they broadcasted themselves live. Finding them won’t be easy.
.

Ace ➡ Before Samson finds them, let’s get prepared and wait. Sofia and I made some battle suits that will definitely come in handy when we confront Prometheus.

Hussein ➡ Excuse me! These Prometheus you’re talking about… Aren’t they the ones that made that broadcast? Who are they?

Ade ➡ They’re like us.
.

Huseein ➡ You mean they’re…
.

Kabir ➡ Exactly. They’re a threat to the society.

Kaityln ➡ Not only that, their objectives is nothing but madness.
.

Hussein ➡ Eliminating corrupt govt isn’t madness. It’s because of this corrupt pigs that our country is suffering alot.

Rollins ➡ I believe you but what about the innocent people? Prometheus are not only just targeting govts.

Hussein ➡ INNOCENT!? nobody in this world is innocent.
.

Ifeanyi ➡ I knew it. This guy na bad news. He may betray us anytime.

Ade ➡ Enough. Hussein are you with us or not?

Hussein ➡ I am. As long as I’m getting my pay.

(Kabir’s phone rings)

Kabir ➡ Hello Teresa… Yes.. WHAT?…. Okay, good job. Keep me informed of any development. Bye.

Felicia ➡ What is it?

Kabir ➡ Teresa said she got a call from someone who says he wants to help us stop Prometheus.

Felicia ➡ We don’t need anyone. We can take care of it.
.

Kabir ➡ Hear me out. He’s a member of Prometheus and he wants us to meet.

All ➡ WHAT?
.

Richærd ➡ Is this guy legit?
.

Ifeanyi ➡ Good question. This can be just a fluke. Maybe they’re trying to lure us into a trap.

Eze ➡ Or there’s a probability that he will help us.
.

Naomi ➡ What do we do?
.

Samson ➡ I’d like to meet this guy and see if he’s really legit. This can be a golden opportunity for us.

Felicia ➡ What is it Ade?
.

Ade ➡ This guy sparks my interest. It’s true he may try to lure us to a trap but there’s a probability he might be saying the truth.

Eve ➡ So what are we going to do?
.

Ade ➡ Let’s check him out and see. By the way, we need to watch our backs. I have a feeling that he might be followed.

Kabir ➡ Good point. Eze should be our eyes in the sky.
.

Eve ➡ Still we all can’t just go.
.

Ade ➡ I agree.
.

Sunday ➡ Fine then, I’ll go.

Ifeanyi ➡ Me too. Besides I can protect myself if anything goes wrong.

Ade ➡ Alright then, let’s move out.

Somewhere around the Atlantic ocean, the members of Prometheus gather around in their yacht to test out the weather machine. After putting the stolen diamonds in the machine’s circuit cord, the mad genius launches the machine into the air putting it into operation. Watching through their binoculars from a safe distance, the newest members of Prometheus grin satisfactorily as they witness the machine in operation.

Moses ➡ If I may ask what does this machine do again?
.

Joshua ➡ It causes weather storms.
.

Mary ➡ Isn’t this a bit too much? Lots of people could die including some of our elite brothers and sisters.
.

Tanko ➡ I zon’t like dis.
.

Moses ➡ What do you mean?
.

Medusa who was listening attentively to the conversation going between their new members couldn’t help but agree with them but still she said nothing. There was no point of objecting or going back, the sh¡p had already set sail the moment the machine had been activated. She had no choice but to remain still and watch.
Suddenly as the machine was ascending into the air, it began to act strange discharging electric volts like crazy. As the machine was busy malfunctioning, the weather suddenly starts to change creating strong winds storms.

Zeus ➡ Hephaestus… What is going on?

Hephaestus ➡ I believe the machine is out of my control.
.

Zeus ➡ You said everything was under control.
.

Hephaestus ➡ I know but this is strange to me as well…
.

Medusa ➡ So what’s going to happen now?
.

Hephaestus ➡ Let’s just say that machine is going to do some serious damage and we should get out of here.
.

Habib ➡ So we’re just going to leave it?
.

Hephaestus ➡ Yes, it wasn’t part of the plan but the machine is doing it’s job.
.

Seeing that things were about to get out of hand, Habib quickly takes matter into his own hands. Using his powerful voice, Habib gives a powerful but short and quick whistle that shatters the weather machine into a thousand pieces. As the machine crumbles and falls into the ocean, the weather returns the normal.
Witnessing his own masterpiece destroyed before his eyes, Hephaestus lashes out at Habib showing his displeasure.

Hephaestus ➡ You bastard! Do you know how much time and money that was invested in this machine?
.

Zeus ➡ Explain yourself boy.
.

Habib ➡ If killing innocent people is part of your agenda then I don’t want to be a part of it. I joined because you said you wanted to rid this world of a corrupt and rotten system known as govt.
.

Moses ➡ Habib, what are you doing?
.

Zeus ➡ Let him be, I’ll make things clearer for him. Listen boy, every progress comes sacrifice and every rise comes a fall. We want to create a new world but in order to achieve that we need to crush the old one. Sacrifices must made.

Habib ➡ Not like this. There has to be some other way.
.

Zeus ➡ It’s the only way. For every creation there must be destruction. This world is so rotten and corrupt that we must purge out every inch of it. The govt aren’t the only one with a rotten mind. A country like Nigeria is good example. Nobody wants to step up and do the right thing but we will.
.

Habib ➡ I can’t accept this. I have people that I care for alot. I can’t just sit and watch them die. Not everyone is as rotten ad you think.
.

Zeus ➡ So what now? We’re not going to stop with our mission. It’s time for you to pick a side Habib. Are you with us or against us?
.

Habib ➡ Sorry, I can’t be a part of this. I quit.
.

Zeus ➡ I see. Then I’m afraid we can’t let you leave this sh¡p alive. You know too much.
.

Habib ➡ So that’s how it’s going to be abi?
.

Zeus ➡ I’m afraid so.
.

In that brief moment, Zeus instantly brings out his right arm trying to eliminate Habib with his blast but before he could do that, the latter had already made his move. Clearing his throat instantly, Habib yells out loud discharging powerful sound waves that echoes hundreds of miles around the ocean. Both old and new members of Prometheus crumbled to their feet as they were attacked by Habib, his sound waves was trying their eardrums apart to the extend that some of them were bleeding from their ears. Seeing that everyone before him was on the verge of dying, Habib closes his mouth and heads to the lower deck of the sh¡p escaping out of it by climbing a jet ski.
After reaching the shores of Lagos beach an hour later, Habib quickly makes his way to city into the crowd where he makes an urgent phone call.
Meanwhile out here in the ocean, the members of Prometheus who had managed to get back to their feet, decided on what to do now that Habib had become their enemy.

Hades ➡ We should kill him. He knows too much.
.

Medusa ➡ It’s too late for that already. He gave us the slip and confronting him for the second time won’t be a good idea.
.

Hephaestus ➡ What are we going to do? If that traitor tells the other elites about us, we’re doomed.
.

Zeus ➡ You’re right. We have to lay low but first let’s get our rivals something to keep themselves busy with but the problem is, where are we going to find them?
.

Joshua ➡ You don’t need to look far. Their head quarters is the NOVA agency.
.

Medusa ➡ WHAT? IMPOSSIBLE.
.

Athena ➡ What is it medusa? You sound shocked.
.

Medusa ➡ That can’t be right. The Nova agency is a private investigation firm.
.

Mary ➡ It’s more than that. Everyone working their is an elite.
.

Hades ➡ Well, well, well. Why didn’t you tell us that sooner?

Zeus ➡ It doesn’t matter now. It’s time to keep our rivals on their toes. Athena, you know what to do.

Athena ➡ Sure Zeus.

Here in,side some posh bed room, loud m0×ns echoed as Eliot, the assistant commissioner of police takes him time slamming his d–k hærd into the c-nt of a prostitute he had picked off the road. Wailing with excitement, the prostitute wraps her sweaty legs around the man’s bony h¡ps urging him to ravish her more.
Fired up by the prostitute’s encouraging words, Eliot hammers his d–k hærd into her w-t c-nt making gletching and smacking sounds while penetrating her. Feeling the sudden rapid thr-sts of her client’s d–k in,side her, the prostitute spreads her legs more and begins to pull the bedsheets around her holding them tightly.
Feeling exhausted after 30mins of loving making, Eliot does all he can to satisfy the busty prostitute that he increases the speed of his thr-sts into her c-nt making her bre-sts to bounce wildly. After maintaining this pace for about 10mins, Eliot ej-culates hærd in,side the prostitute and then pulls out.
Checking out the condom around his d–k, the man pulls it offs and throws it away before laying on the bed next to the prostitute. However, just as Eliot was about to relax, his phone rings out loud making him to curse out loud.

Eliot ➡ I wonder who’s the idiot that is calling me? …… Hello, who’s this?

Unknown ➡ Evening assistant commissioner, We have something that will certainly elevate your rank.

Eliot ➡ Who are you and how did you get this number?
.

Unknown ➡ It doesn’t matter. What matter is that we know the people that are in cahoots with Prometheus.

Eliot ➡ PROMETHEUS!?…. THOSE TERRORISTS… WHERE ARE THEY?

Unknown ➡ I’ll send you their location. By the way, you should not take them lightly. They’re dangerous. Don’t trust any of them.

Eliot ➡ How did you get this info?
.

Unknown. ➡ Just do your part. Good bye.
.

After the call, Eliot jumps out of his bed and rushes to his wardrobe where he brings out a bundle of crispy 500 naira notes tossing it at the prostitute.

Eliot ➡ Here take your money and go.
.

Prostitute ➡ Is this the full payment?
.

Eliot ➡ TAKE THE MONEY AND LEAVE YOU STUPID B-TCH. HAVE I EVER PAID YOU LESS? TAKE THE MONEY AND GO.

After the prostitute dresses herself up, she takes the money and leave the room and shortly after her departure, Eliot quickly makes a phone call.

Eliot ➡ Hello… Yes this is the Assistant commissioner…. I would like to speak with the governor… Yes.. It is very urgent…. Tell him that I have information about those Prometheus terrorists.. Yes.. I’ll be waiting.
