People have been asking for centuries if man can exceed his limit, or whether he can reach his full potential? Well, that is possible. There are different kind of people in this world, there are the average humans and the extra ordinary ones… Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about super powers but some of us are born with unique gifts that makes us a wh0le lot different from others…
Well, I’m among those with these gifts, I have the ability to see and communicate with spirits, ghosts and demons, I also can have the ability to transform my body into a phantomic state enabling me to go through anything, I could even enter the CBN vault without opening the door.
These gifts are amazing but as it turns out there are some people out there who think this gifts are a curse and they see us as agents of the devil.. We call this particular group of individuals “EXECUTIONERS”, They’re a small secret org-nization who are determine to wipe people like me off the face of the earth and they’ll stop at nothing to achieve their goal.
People like me call ourselves the “ELITES”, at first I thought I was alone but I later found out I wasn’t the only peculiar one.. But before I tell you what happens in the end, let me tell you my story from the very beginning…..

My name is Adekunle Shegun, I live with my in Lagos, and I’m a student of criminology in UNILAG… Thankfully I’m in my final year.
My parents are quite rich and I have everything I could possibly want but that wasn’t enough for me, back when I was a kid, I was stubborn, naughty and arrogant, I always looked at people as if they were nothing and as a result of that, I never had any friends, My parents were worried about my behavior and tried everything that could but nothing changed until my abilities manifested.

At age 10, my sight began to change and i started seeing things and those things were spirits, ghosts and demons, I got afraid and began freak out, I couldn’t stop seeing these spirits even when I closed my eyes, before long, I lost control of myself…
My parents thought I was going mad and they spent lots of money to get best doctors that could treat my so called mental illness, in the end, even the doctors ran away when they saw how I was behaving, So my parents took me to a psychiatric home where I spent months there, Religious men were called to pray on me, they too couldn’t handle it and left me alone.. Even the psychiatric home send me away when they heard me talking alone every night. In the end my parents gave me and decided to keep me locked in my room until I was back to my senses.
In truth, I wasn’t mad, the reason why I freaked out was because the demons and spirits were scaring the life out of me, warning and scolding me of how much of a bad egg I was, and thanks to them, I changed into a wh0le new better person.

At age 11, I got used to my ability and I became friends with the spirits but.. There was a slight problem.. Despite the fact I wasn’t acting like a psycho, my parents still thought I was still insane because I was talking alone, even at night, they would sneak and check up on me in my bedroom only to see me talking and laughing at night.. They couldn’t see the spirits but I can.. So one day, my mother decided to ask me about my strange behavior.

Kemi ➡ Son… Can I ask you a question? Who do you talk to at night?

Ade ➡ I talk to my friends..
.

Kemi ➡ Friends?? But I don’t see you with anyone..
.

Ade ➡ That’s because you can’t see them.. In fact.. They’re sitting right next to us..
.

My mom looked around and saw nothing, then after that, she stared at me squarely tapping her fingers.

Kemi ➡ 😡 Is this a joke? I didn’t see anyone..
.

Ade ➡ It’s true they are here.. Let me show you..
.

In that moment, I asked one of the spirits to move one of the cushions which was next to mom and as soon as my mom saw the cushion move on its own, she shouted out in fear and collapsed.
Because of that, my mom got a heart attack and since then, I decided not to do anything to stir her again.

At age 15, my other ability manifested and it showed up at the worst time of my life, That day, my parents and I were driving home after shopping from the mall, then suddenly my Dad lost control of the car and it skidded out of control, the car tumbled over and over for some seconds until it stopped…
The accident was bad and when everything was quiet, I found myself outside, laying the road unhurt and without any bruise.
I quickly went to the roughed up car and checked on my parents, but alas it was too late for they were already dead.
People who saw the crash couldn’t believe their eyes..even I saw surprised because I had a seat belt around me and the windows were half closed.. There was no way I could have gotten out of the car and even if I did, I should have been injured.
The police and ambulance later came and did what they had to do.. The police didn’t believe it when they heard that I had made out alive without any injury, alas one of them said that it was God’s doing and everyone agreed with that.
I cried at my parents funeral, I couldn’t even get to say goodbye, on that day, I hated and blamed myself for their deaths.. I tried as much as I could to figure out how I got out of the car but I couldn’t.. As if my parent’s sudden death wasn’t bad enough.. After the funeral, My relatives disowned me saying they wouldn’t bring a devil into their household, they too had heard the news of how and survived and they all blamed me for my parents death. The only person that stayed with me was my mother’s sister, Shola.
Aunty Shola was a very kind and caring person, she looked after me well and gave me all the support I needed, She became my guardian. Since i was the only child of my parents, I inherited everything from my parents property and Aunty Shola kept the property in her care and said that I would be given my inheritance when I was old enough. Living with Aunty Shola was fun but I missed my parents dearly and life wasn’t the same without them, since they died, I have developed this trait of isolating myself from people and I didn’t talk much, in a nutshell, I became an introvert, the only ones I could talk too were the spirits , they kept me company while I was in my loneliest moment.

At age 17, I figured out the secret to my other ability.. Due to the emotional trauma I got because of my parent’s death, I attempted to commit suicide, I went to the kitchen one Sunday evening and took a knife 🔪 trying to end my life, After a while, I scre-med and stabbed the knife in my chest, I was surprised when I didn’t feel any pain, as I looked at my chest, I saw the knife in,side ; I was shocked beyond belief, I pulled out the knife and was even more shocked to see there was no blood stain on it .. I took the knife and drove it into my hand the knife went through but still no pain no blood.
In that moment, that’s when I realized what was going on, I pulled my hand and saw it went through the knife like a protector.. I was speechless and baffled, I thought to myself thinking maybe I was dreaming, I pinched myself hærd and felt pain, then I tried something even more crazy, I turned on the gas cooker and put my hand over the flame 🔥 but yet again, I felt no pain, I brushed my hand against the fire and saw it pass through the fire.
I went out of the kitchen and went back to my room thinking about what just happened, I slapped myself hærd and felt the pain,… Something wasn’t right, I thought to myself.. How was it I hit myself and feel pain but when I try to harm myself using something, I don’t feel it at all instead it passes through me? Then I decide to test one last theory,… I ran as fast as I could towards my bedroom door hoping to knock it down, I closed my eyes and braced myself,.. Suddenly, I felt myself still running instead of me crashing through the door, when I opened my eyes, I found myself in the outside the house.
I opened my mouth wild agape as I sat on the ground looking at the house… I started to think that I was either dreaming or hallucinating because none of this made sense. Just how did I get outside?
Fortunately one of my spirit friends enlighten me and got me out of the darkness.

Spirit ➡ What is it, Ade?

Ade ➡ Did you see what just happened to me? Please tell me I’m not crazy?
.

Spirit ➡ No.. You’re not.. The reason why you pass through walls is because you have ghost like abilities…
.

Ade ➡ Wait o.. You mean like a phantom??
.

Spirit ➡ Yes… Your body goes into a phantom state whenever you’re in danger.. That’s why you didn’t die in that car accident two years ago.

Ade ➡ So… Can I activate it anytime I want?
.

Spirit ➡ Yes but you’ll have to be in a calm relaxed state before you can do that. why are you trying to kill yourself by the way?
.

Ade ➡ I’m tired of this life…. I want my parents.
.

Spirit ➡ But you’re not alone… You have us and Aunty Shola and you’re rich.
.

Ade ➡ Forget riches.. They couldn’t bring my parents back.
.

Spirit ➡ Listen to me Ade!.. Your parents death wasn’t your fault, their deaths was destined to happen.. No power in this world can change what fate has ordained.. You need to understand that.. Nothing lasts in this life..

Ade ➡ Except you.. You’re here.. Maybe you’ll be here for a long time even after I’m gone.
.

Spirit ➡ Don’t forget.. Some of us were once people.. We too had families once.. We didn’t ask to be spirits but here we are floating aimlessly, living on with no purpose in life.. At least the best times I have is spending them with you.

Ade ➡ Thanks.. Thank you for sticking around me. Your company has been very helpful.

Spirit ➡ you’re welcome, Ade.

Since then, I continued to live and move on with my life.. As a start , I got into UNILAG, hence becoming a university student. Despite being a university student, I wasn’t that social with the other student especially my course mates, in fact, I isolated myself away from them, Some of them thought I was too proud and arrogant but it wasn’t so, I didn’t want them to know about my strange abilities, so in the end they too avoided me.
Though we avoided each other, I knew everything about the entire students in my department, thanks to the spirits.
UNILAG was filled with lots of spirits and I made friends with them and in return, they gave me valuable information, I knew everything about the entire institute, how it came to be and everything else.
The spirits sure helped me a lot, especially during exams period, While sitting in the exam hall, they would go around and check out what other’s have written and feed it back to me, sometimes when that doesn’t work out, I would come to school at midnight and entire our departments examination faculty using my ghostlike abilities… It was fun at first because I would always ace the exams and everyone would think I’m some kind of genius but I later got tired of it, besides it wasn’t good to use my powers to cheat. So instead of cheating, I decided to study and write the exams on my own, but I sometimes used my powers to help those who couldn’t make it in the exams, before the exams got marked, I would go and check it out and see those that messed up, and rectify their mistakes.
Things went on like that for a while and I began to think whether I was the only strange one but all that changed when I got into my second level.

A week after I began my level 2, I met 3 guys who were Elites like me, they too had strange abilities…
The first among them is Eze Terrance A.K.A *Microscope*….. The reason why I gave him this name was because he has the ability to see through things, his vision is extraordinary unlike mine, he can see through anything, you may say he has X-ray vision, not only can he see through things but he can see far and beyond..
Eze is a social guy that loves to hang around people, The first time I met him was at the front of the girls hostel… I was passing along when I saw him sitting down comfortably on a hood of a car with a hærd on.. He also had this ridiculous and lustful look on his face, I wanted to know what he was seeing but I couldn’t see anything, it was then i saw one spirit hanging around in the place and I asked him what was going on..

Ade ➡ What’s wrong with this guy?

Spirit ➡ Don’t mind the b-stard! He’s been coming here everyday to peek on girls.
.

Ade ➡ But how is he doing that? The girls are in,side, there’s no way he could see them, not only if he gets in,side.
.

Spirit ➡ Believe me.. He’s like you.. He can see through things.
.

Ade ➡ Wow.. I thought I was the only one.. What’s his name?
.

Spirit ➡ Eze Terrance.
.

Ade ➡ Thanks… Hey Eze!
.

He was surprised when I called his name, I walker over to him to talk to him about his immoral behavior.

Eze ➡ How do you know my name?
.

Ade ➡ I’m Ade… We’re in the same class togther.. Listen you should stop looking at girl’s nudity.. It’s not good.

Eze ➡ I wasn’t…
.

Ade ➡ Don’t bother lying.. I know you can see through things… I’m like you by the way.. I can talk to spirits, that’s how I got your name..
.

Eze couldn’t say anything instead he stood up from the hood and measured me up and down with his eyes.. After a while, he finally found the strength to talk.

Eze ➡ What was your name again?
.

Ade ➡ Adekunle… But just call me Ade.
.

Since that day, we started hanging out and we became friends, Despite lecturing him about his bad habits, Eze still didn’t stop, not a day goes by he doesn’t stare at girls, even the female lecturers didn’t escape his sight, He even uses his ability to cheat in the exams as well, he doesn’t need to get close to copy from someone, What he usually does is sit in the last seat and then copy from those in front of him, no matter how far they are.

After Eze, the second person is Chioma Nkem A.K.A * illusion queen*… Chioma also joined our department in the second level apply through direct entry.
Chioma was a very stunning lady and this gives her an advantage which she uses her ability.
Her ability is illusion and hypnosis, she has the ability to cast illusions on people just by touching them, the same thing goes with her hypnosis, she uses her ability on students that are very rich. She casts an illusion on them making them to give her whatever she wanted , I also forgot to mention she’s a money monger, if you’re trying to toast her and you have no money.. Don’t even come close. Chioma and I do get along but Eze pisses her off because of his behavior..

And the last person is Kabir Attahiru A.K.A * Animal*… His ability is quite unique, he has the power to communicate with all animals and make them do his bidding, Me and the other two elites met with this particular guy one Tuesday afternoon after lectures, we were standing around looking at the horizon, when we saw a big hawk dive down grabbing one lizard off the wall, Then Suddenly, we saw Kabir stretch his hand towards the direction of the hawk, The terrifying bird flew down at the feet of Kabir dropping off the lizard and then flew off, Kabir took the lizard and placed it on a tree. We were all stunned by what we saw… We thought it was just some trick but then we saw him do many amazing things and we were convinced he was one of us.
Soon, he joined our group and we formed our own squad calling ourselves, *NOVAS*.

It was nice to finally find some people I have things in common with, at least I could express myself the way I want and show my ability without anyone calling me * crazy * or *cursed *… And as it turns out I wasn’t the only one feeling like that, Each and every one of the squad was feeling the same way I was and each of us was glad to have each other… Since then, we’ve become closer to each other and we’ve bonded. We’ve also had lots of fun that’s to our abilities but then everything changed when we got to our final year and it was the time we realized our very existence was in jeopardy.

Here in the present which was 2021,.. Me and the squad were in the class having lectures, I was bored, Chioma was scouting for her next target, Eze was doing his usual thing and Kabir was silently praying in his mind… The lecturer kept yapping and talking.. I checked the time and saw it was almost time for the lecture to end, I waited patiently so that we could go home. In that moment, Some one farted out loud in the class, The smell was so powerful, even the lecturer had to dismiss the class.
Everyone quickly got of the class so that they wouldn’t suffocate.

Eze ➡ Jesus lord… Finally person go fit rest.

Kabir ➡ I swear, but the person that polluted has eaten too much hot beans.

Ade ➡ It was Agatha..
.

Chioma ➡ No wonder.. That pig that likes to eat like there’s no tomorrow… You see as her nyarsh big.
.

Eze ➡ I have to say. That nyarsh is a master piece.
.

Chioma ➡ Eww! Seriously Eze!? When will you change? You too like woman.
.

Eze ➡ So? You too like money nah.. Please let me be jor.. Do your thing and I’ll do mine.
.

Kabir ➡ Seriously you two should stop your bad habits..
.

Chioma ➡ See who’s talking? Don’t use use spiders and flies to whisper answers for you in the exams?
.

Kabir ➡ That one is different..
.

Ade ➡ Looks let’s just get home.. I’m tired.
.

Eze ➡ Wait o. I see a gathering in front of the Education’s department..
.

Chioma ➡ Education? But that’s… How did you?
.

Kabir ➡ What’s going on there?
.

Eze ➡ I don’t have super hearing.. Ade.. What do your spirits tell you?
.

Ade ➡ Well, it’s some kind of a event, but a private one.. Like American’s got talent.. Whoever wins, gets a cash price of 10million.

All ➡ WHAT???
.

Chioma ➡ Ten million??
.

Kabir ➡ 10 million… For real?
.

Eze ➡ Ah. This prize money is mine… Nollywood babes I’m coming o.
.

Ade ➡ Wait. You guys can’t be serious about participating?
.

Eze ➡ Mr. Man.. You’re rich already so.. Let us who don’t have wealth, get our chance to fame and fortune.
.

Chioma ➡ I don’t need the money. Besides, i I’ll run through it in days
.

Kabir ➡ Well, I’ll have to think about it.
.

Ade ➡ Well, I’m not joining… I’ll be going home now.
.

Chioma ➡ Hold on.. Wait for me.. I’ll follow you, I want to chillax over at your place.
.

Kabir ➡ Okay.. I’ll be going to the mosque.. See you guys later.

Eze ➡ Well, see you all later.. I’m going to see Agatha.. That a** needs some appreciation.

After that, Kabir and Eze took their separate ways as for me and Chioma, we entered my car and drove home.

Somewhere among the towers of Lagos, a group of men and women gather around a large table all of them wearing white attires.. Each of them has a small tattoo of an axe on their bodies, they all sit comfortably staring at the direction of their Leader, who stands close to the window staring down at the busy street of Lagos. After a while he turns around and stares at his followers.
The name of the man is Julius ogbe, a very rich business man and a man of excellent reputation but despite these qualities he has dark sinister goal within.

Julius ➡ Greeting my fellow executioners… I hope you’ve had a wonderful day… The reason why I gather you all here is because our work is yet to be finished…
Evil is still on the run.. Agents of the devil are still living among us.. They may look like us but they are not one of us.. Only God deserves to be the all powerful, there’s nothing such as super natural or extraordinary humans.. They’re all spawns of evil and they must BE WIPED OUT FROM THIS WORLD.

Executioner 1 ➡ But how can we find them? It’s hærd to locate them.. They’re like rats..

Julius ➡ Which is why, we’re going to lure them out.. I’ve created an event which will draw their attention, the prize money is too much for them to resist. Those b-stards need to be weeded out.. The world doesn’t need individuals who can perform extraordinary feats.. In that they’re too dangerous to be allowed to live,.. We must avoid them and also get rid of them.. Don’t let their appearance fool you.. We are doing God’s work.. And he will reward our services when the time comes.. Our org-nization has been active for centuries and we are the sword 🗡 that purges the evil of this world. We shall triumph and we shall wipe those plagues of the face of the earth if that’s the last thing we do.. Hail thee Executioners!!!!
