🎙️ Emily’s POV 🎙️
The airplane landed and we climbed down from the plane
It was already evening, everywhere was cool, seems it just rained here
“Bonsoir Paris!!” Mia screamed in excitement
A bus came to convey us to the hotel we’ll be staying
Mia sat with Lucy and Isaac came to sit with me
“I didn’t know you were coming Isaac” I said
“I need this trip too, my music composition has been really bad though that’s not the only reason am here” he said
“What other reason do you have?” I asked
“Am gonna get back at someone”
“Get back at someone? Who?”
“Just someone, how about we hang out more often while we are here, I wanna get closer to you” he said changing the discussion
“Me?” I asked
“Yeah, I want to get closer to you” he said and I felt the bus stopped
Seems we’ve reached the hotel
“Why?” I asked
“Because I find you really beautiful Emily, see you later” he said and walked out of the bus with the other students
“Let’s go Emmy” Lucy said and I stood up and walked out of the bus

The professor said some things but I wasn’t listening

I got goosebumps when he said that

“Are you okay Emmy?” Mia asked
“Yeah” I replied
“Come on let’s go in, we’ve been given a room number” Lucy said
“It’s 3 people per room so we get to stay together” Mia added
We got to our room and we opened the door with the key given to us
The room is really beautiful with a very large bed
I took my phone and wondered if I should call Aiden to know if they are already here
No, he’ll just say am being clingy again
“Come over here guys, the view from the window is amazing” Mia said and Lucy and I went to meet her by the window
🎙️ Aiden’s POV 🎙️
We came down from the plane and I stretched my hand
Paris!
The organizer for the concert we’ll be holding here rushed up to us
“Hi, am Mark and it’s an honor meeting you guys” he said bringing out his hand for a handshake
“I’ve prepared everything for your stay here, there are cars waiting outside to convey you to the place we prepared” he said
“No, we are also here on a class assignment so we’ll be staying in the hotel where our class lodged in” I said
“Sure, no problem then, you guys can go in the car” he said he handed over the keys and we muttered a thanks
We entered the car along with Naty and I drove
“Bryan said he already reserved a suite online for us, it’s the most expensive room in the hotel and he’s sure we’ll like it” Jason said
“Am gonna be staying with you Aiden” Naty said and I glanced at her
“What! Why?”
“Am sorry for butting in but if Naty is gonna be really staying with you Aiden then get yourself a different room” Michael said
“There’s no need for that, Naty isn’t staying with me” I said
“Why? I want to stay with you, I can’t afford to leave you alone who knows when he’ll come and meet you” Naty said
“Okay, I have no idea what you are talking about but you definitely aren’t staying in the same room with me, either you get yourself a room when we get to the hotel or you take a flight back to New York, I don’t really care” I said
“You are being rude and harsh Aiden” she said
“Really? Maybe you didn’t notice before but I’ve always been like this” I said and she kept silent
We got to the hotel and I parked the car
We got the key for our reserved suite while Naty got another room
Naty went to her room and we went to ours
We entered the suite and it’s not bad
It has a sitting room and a pretty big bedroom
I dropped my luggage and slumped on the couch
I took my phone and checked it, there was no missed calls or messages
That girl is really a dummy, how can she not call throughout the entire flight
Gosh, am tired, I should probably have a shower
“Am gonna enjoy this place, been long I came to Paris” Jason said
“That’s cause we don’t have the time to tour around, we are still students” Michael said
“Should we just quit school?” I asked
“Quit what?! Thank God Bryan isn’t here or you would have answered to him” Michael said
“It was just a suggestion” I said
“Bad suggestion Aiden, anyway am going to take a shower” Jason said said standing up
“Hey, I was about going” I said as I stood up stopping him
“I said it first” Jason said
“I thought of it first” I said
“Are you kidding me, just leave my way Aiden” Jason said
“Not a chance, am very tired, I need to get that shower first” I said
“Au Revoir guys” Michael said as he ran to the bathroom before we could stop him

🎙️ Emily’s POV 🎙️
We all showered and wore a casual wear
“All the students of Rochester Academy are to assemble in the hotel lounge” someone announced from the speaker in the hallway
“Let’s go” Lucy said
We got to the lounge and the other students were there too
“Hey” Isaac said as he came to stand beside me
“Oh hi” I said
I looked around but I didn’t see the music faries, I didn’t see Aiden
“Are you looking for someone?” Isaac asked
“No” I quickly replied
“Have you been to Paris before?” He asked
“No”
“Let’s hang tomorrow evening, I’ll take you to some fun places” he said
“Sure” I said with a smile
Moments later, I saw them come inside the lounge and I smiled
Then I saw Naty beside Aiden and my smile disapeared
She came to Paris too?!
I should be careful then, I can’t allow her to ruin my assignment this time
The professor came in and everywhere became quiet
“We’ll start our tour tomorrow by nine, we’ll be going around all the popular places and tourist centers in Paris but have in mind that this trip is not just for your entertainment, we are here to explore so that you can get ideas on your music composition and am sure I don’t need to remind you that this will carry the other half of your mark for the semester” the professor said
“So be ready and let’s meet here by 9 tomorrow but for now, you all can go have dinner in the hotel restaurant”
We went to the the restaurant and ordered our food
The music faries came in and everyone started screaming as usual
Even outside the country they are still very popular
Aiden glanced at me and I quickly waved but he didn’t wave back
Why did he ignore me?

🎙️ Lucy’s POV 🎙️
We finished eating and the music faries stood up to leave the restaurant
“Am coming guys” I said as I stood up and went towards the music fairies
“We need to talk” I said as I walked up to Michael
“Excuse me guys, seems my girlfriend wants to have a word with me” he said and I scoffed
“Am not joking Michael” I said
We walked out of the restaurant to the lounge
“Let’s stop this stupid game Michael, you have to tell everyone you lied, am not pregnant” I said
“You started all this, if you are tired of it, end it yourself” Michael said
“They won’t believe me, no one believes me when I tell them that am not pregnant, you have to be the one to tell everyone”
“Am sorry but I won’t say anything, you solve your problem yourself” he said and turned to leave
“I was asked to quit school!” I said and he stopped and turned to look at me
“What?”
“The Chancellor asked me to quit school for a year cause of the pregnancy. I can’t quit school for a year so help me Michael, please” I pleaded but he kept quiet

“I know but you actually kissed me first”
“I was drunk, it wasn’t like I did it deliberately but you went ahead and posted some ridiculous thing on the school blog making everyone think I was dating you” he said
“You had your payback too so let’s just end all this” I said
“Okay, it’s not like I want this to continue too but I can’t just tell everyone you aren’t pregnant, I’ll be termed a liar so instead, I’ll just tell everyone you aborted your pregnancy” Michael said
“What do you mean aborting pregnancy, that will only make matters worse”
“But at least you won’t have to quit school for a year and I won’t be known as a liar” he said with a smile
“Is this all a joke to you? My life is going down the drain and you want to worsen it huh? Are you a human at all? How can suggest such an irrational thing!” I yelled
“If you don’t like my idea then forget it, solve your problem yourself then” he said and walked out
That guy is crazy, how can he do this to me!
🎙️ Emily’s POV 🎙️
Mia and I were the only ones in the room
Lucy is still not back yet
My phone beeped and it was a message from Aiden
💬 Meet me at the parking lot 💬
I quickly stood up and wore a jacket
“Am going outside for a bit Mia” I said
“Okay” she replied
I walked out of the room and quickly found my way to the parking lot
I saw him standing beside a car and I smiled
“Hey” I said with a smile
“Get in” he said in a grumpy voice
I got into the car and he drove off
“Where are we going?” I asked but he didn’t answer
“Why aren’t you saying anything?” I asked again
“Shut up, you are being noisy” he said
“Why are you being so grumpy?” I asked
“Why didn’t you call throughout my flight?” He asked
“You told me not to call, you said I was being too clingy”
“Do you have take all my words seriously!” He yelled
“Why are you yelling at me when I did nothing wrong!”
“I see, you didn’t do anything wrong” he said
“Yes I didn’t, I don’t know why you are getting angry when am sure you enjoyed the flight with your precious girlfriend”
“You are right, I was with Naty the whole time that I didn’t even remembered you existed dummy” he said and I scoffed
“Wow, that’s great” I said sarcastically
“Where are we going? If you don’t tell me, am getting off this car” I said
“Fine, get off” he said as he parked by the roadside
“What!”
“I only wanted to help you by taking you somewhere we can discuss about your music composition but if you don’t want to go then you can get out” he said
“Oh, then you should have told me that in the first place!!”
“Are you seriously yelling at me when am only trying to help you?” He asked looking at me
“No, I….. I didn’t yell, I just have a loud voice” I said
He continued driving and he parked somewhere where there was a big crowd
“What are they all doing there?” I asked
“Listening to music” he said as we got off the car and walked towards the crowd
A man was in the center of the crowd playing a guitar and singing
“He sings so beautifully” I said
“The professor said we need to write a song and sing it for him too, writing a song isn’t really a big deal, anyone can write a song but singing it with the right emotions is what really gets people attention” Aiden said
“Come with me” he said and I followed him back to his car
He opened the car boot and brought out a guitar
We went to seat on one of the benches on the walkway under a tree
“Play any song you want” he said giving me the guitar
“I can sing any song?” I asked and he nodded
I took the guitar and started playing one of my favorite songs, Perfect by Ed Sheeran

“Stop stop, I might go deaf if I continue listening to you” Aiden said
“What?!!”
“Look dummy, you have an amazing voice but you are singing as if you are just reading a book, no emotions in your voice at all. Why do you think that man that was performing got so much crowd, his voice wasn’t even that good but he backed it up with his emotions, he was singing like he experienced the song and that’s what captures people attention. Even if you write a good song and you can’t sing it well, you still won’t be able to get a perfect mark. A good song without a good singer is like cooking without the spices, it might look good but it will taste awful” Aiden said
“Wow, you should be a lecturer Aiden, you’ve got the talent”
“Well unlike you dummy, am talented in many areas” he said
“But I can’t just fake emotions” I said
“If you can’t fake it, we’ll just create it then” he said as he walked to my back and gave me a back hug and my heart skipped and my body went numb
“What….what are you doing?” I stuttered
“Creating emotions, try playing the song now” he said still hugging me
I think am going crazy, why the hell is my heart beating so fast
