✍️High school mom ✍️ 😍(My love for her is unconditional)😍 Written by:- Assurance webber Chapter_ thirty-five * * NICOLE'S RESIDENCE* Camdan tossed on the bed tiredly and adjusted the duvet on his body. After a while he lazily opened his eyes and sat up resting his head on the headboard. He touched his head and gr-aned a little as a migraine struck him. He was looking for his phone when his eyes met a glass of water and an aspirin beside it. ‘who kept this here?’ he wondered and afterwards he shrugged. Without wasting much time he took the aspirin and gulped it down with the glass of water. He stepped down from the bed and saw a flip flops decorated in teddy bears which got him confused. ‘I don't think I have something like this.’ he thought and that was he sniffed the air in the room. It felt so different from his regular perfume or air freshener. He looked around the room and realized he wasn't in his room, the bedsheet, paint on the wall and the setting was so different...in fact it was kinda girlish. That was when the memories of last night started coming in and he was confused because he didn't remember himself coming to Nicole's house. He immediately left the room and ran all the way to the sitting room, not minding the fact that he was shirtless. He descended down the stairs and immediately his eyes met the sleeping Nicole on one of the sofa in the sitting room. He moved closer to her and sat down on a couch facing her direction. He kept staring at her and he didn't know when his hand found it's way to her hair car-ssing it. He felt it it wasn't right but he couldn't stop himself from doing it. He was wowed as he saw something more Astonishing. She was looking more beautiful than ever but he had no idea. He stared right into her face and took notice of that plump lips, pointed nose and perfectly shaped face... They were all beautiful and damn she was perfect in his eyes. He was so surprised he was just seeing how perfect she is... maybe that was because he doesn't pay much attention to her and it kinda sting him but he didn't know why. ‘So she spent the night here’ he thought with a smile. Jace came out of his room all dressed up in his uniform. He was getting ready for school, he picked an apple from the fruit basket and started munching on one. He got to the sitting room heading for the front door but was surprised when he saw his sister's boss car-ssing her face. ‘It seems he likes her’ he thought and arrived at the scene. Immediately Camdan laid his eyes on him he withdrew his hand from Nicole's face and Jace chuckled. “Good morning” Jace greeted and Camdan just stared at him with a surprise expression. “Please who are you?” Camdan asked innocently and Jace smiled. “Am Jace, Nicole's younger brother and you must be Sir Camdan right?” “Yes I am, why do you ask?” Camdan asked and Jace looked at him from head to toe with a shrug before he cleared his throat. “You don't look so bad.. you're handsome. My sister chose well.” “What do you mean?, I don't understand.” Camdan asked batting his lashes and Leo chuckled. “When she wakes up ask her yourself... don't tell her I told you. Am off to school...see y'all later.” Jace said and walked out leaving them alone. * * THE LUCAS'S MANSION* Master's bedroom... Mr Lucas was seated on the king sized bed as rested his head on the headboard with a newspaper glued to his face. He flipped on the pages of the newspaper continuously as he found it tiring. He removed the glasses he wore and rubbed his eyes for few seconds...he was feeling dizzy already and it won't turn out good, if it worsens he might pass out and he didn't want that to happen. He needed to take his medication more seriously. After a while his wife entered the room with a cup of coffee alongside with a glass of water and placed it on the stool close to him. He closed the newspaper gently and sat upright. He was a man with strong principles and very handsome and his sons took after him, especially Josh. Even at his old age he was still looking handsome and his wife often bragged about that whenever she is in the meeting with other chairmans wives...she loved him a lot. Mrs Lucas walked over to a cupboard and brought out his medications. She took out the drugs and handed it to her husband. “Did the help prepare the coffee the way i want it?” Mr Lucas asked before taking he swallowed the drug and flushed it down with the glass of water. “Those helps are useless, if I hadn't gone there, they would have added more sugar in your coffee...you know the doctor said you shouldn't take in much sugar.” She stated with a hiss. “Am glad you went there on time.” Mr Lucas replied nonchalantly and she smiled. She sat on the bed and clinged close to him with a wide smile on her face. Mr Lucas knew she wanted something and didn't hesitate to ask her. “What is it this time?” “Lets talk about our son.” She replied. “Josh is fine, I gave him a place in the company but he hasn't started working. I don't know why.” “Am not talking about Josh, am talking about Camdan my son.” she said and Mr Lucas shook his head sideways. “What about Camdan?” “Can’t you cancel the wedding between Cassey and Camdan?, I mean, Camdan isn't happy about the whole wedding thing...even though he didn't tell me, I can tell he wasn't happy about it.” She explained with a crumpled expression. “He’s going to get married to cassey and that's final..but why are you getting yourself worried with a small issue.” “Because he's my son and I care about his happiness. He's 27 for crying out loud!” She yelled and Mr Lucas scoffed. “And so what if he's 27? He's also my son and am his father...this is for the company's purpose, so don't get involved.” “So you're using my son for your selfish interest?” she asked with a broken voice...all her husband cared about was the company and nothing else. “Yes” “How could you Lucas, how selfish can you be? He loves someone else and here you are trying to get him married to a girl he doesn't even know about.” She said calmly as a tear dropped from her one of her eyes. “I don't understand you victoria...you are happy when it comes to Josh but now it's Camdan's time you're sad.” “Yes am sad because Camdan is my son and Josh is not!” she half yelled and her husband chuckled lightly. “How tacky of you... speaking with so much hatred. You know if you had acted this way when it came to Josh, I could have changed my mind but you acted otherwise.” Mr Lucas said with anger dripping from his voice and added. “Make sure you tell Camdan to stay away from that waitress...she belongs to someone else.” He said and climbed back on the bed and closed his eyes, he was feeling sleepy already after all the drug he took was to help relax his nerves. She frowned and stood up, wanting to leave but stopped when she noticed the room was cold. Even though she was angry at him, he was her husband and she cared about him. The day has been hectic for her and she hated it. She has been signing papers since she got to work in morning and now it's 4pm in the evening. She was so exhausted and needed recharge. She stood up and walked over to the espresso machine making a cup of coffee. “That pathetic boss” She murmured as her mind flew back to what had happened that morning. She remembering seeing him shirtless made her drool in a way she didn't imagine she could. “His cute though.” she said and took a sip of her coffee but poured it out instantly. “Hot, hot,hot...ouch my tongue!” 'Oops, that's for calling your boss pathetic.' her subconsciousness whispered to her and she scoffed. “its not my fault, he's just too bossy.” she complained out loud as she remembered him telling her to take care of his job, since he wasn't going to come to work anyways. “Who's just too bossy” Her colleague stacy asked as she helped her to wipe her shirt with a napkin. “When did you get here?” Nicole asked. “I've been there watching you day dreaming. what's up with you?” “Nothing, just tired. I've been working all day because of the boss and it's tiring.” Nicole replied and Stacy smiled. “Well, it's because you are his personal assistant and it's your job.” She said while Nicole just sipped from her cup of coffee, by this time she has already diluted it. “Yeah, you are right but that doesn't mean that I have to do everything. Could you imagine he didn't show up at work today because he got drunk and having a migraine.” Nicole stated with a scoff before placing her cup of coffee on the counter. Stacy turned to her looking shock than ever, that wasn't what the boss had told them...it was definitely different. “But Sir Camdan said he had an urgent business to attend to...your story is different.” “Huh?” Nicole asked dumbfounded. She knew she had exposed everything already. How would she get out of this mess right now. “Wait! Don't tell me you both are dating.” Stacy asked with a snap of the finger and Nicole laughed hysterically. “What?! No, we're not dating...stop thinking about such.” Nicole said brushing the thought off with her fingers. “Of course he wouldn't date someone like you. You are not his type of girl, neither are you in his class.” Claudia chimed in and Nicole rolled her eyes. Claudia is one of the most hottest worker in the company and many guys have got their eyes on her. She has the most pretty eyes and they are a killer but Nicole is her worst enemy probably because she's loved by everybody. “And what if we are dating, what are you going to do?” Nicole retorted and she smirked. “It will never happen Nicole, so stop day dreaming already otherwise you might go nuts.” “And how does it concern you?” Nicole asked and she just smiled before walking away. “Don't listen to her Nicole, she's just a pain in the ass.” stacy said and Nicole nodded in affirmation. She glanced at her wrist watch and gasp. “Geez, am wasting so much time when I still have papers to deal with. I gotta go stacy, chat ya later.” She said and rushed off without giving a room for stacy to reply. ***** Nicole got to Camdan's office looking for where he kept his unsigned doc-ments. She was so angry but was trying to control herself. Whenever she tried to keep calm, the words of stacy will keep playing in her ear. “Of course he wouldn't date someone like you. You are not his type of girl, neither are you in his class.” “F**k, just stop!” Nicole cussed out loud trying to get the thought out of her head. But one thing was true, she wasn't his type of girl and she couldn't deny that fact. After brushing the thought off, she continued from where she stopped by looking for the unsigned doc-ments. She saw a drawer at the front of his desk and without wasting much time, she opened it and it and it revealed the doc-ments. She carried them from the drawer and something fell off. She picked it up and seeing it was an envelope, she wanted to keep it back but her eyes met with a writing on it. “Sunshine city hospital?” she wondered and afterwards opened it. Her eyes widened in shock and her knees was weakening as she read the whole content. She quickly put the envelope back into the drawer and left the office. * * QUIN'S ELEMENTARY SCHOOL* Tara was seated on a chair while an elderly woman squatted to help her fix her shoe laces. The woman kept smiling at Tara as she was fixing her shoe laces. She's actually a cleaner at Tara's school. “You look like someone I know dear” The elderly woman blurted out and Tara just smiled, but later spoke up. “Who is he?” “Well, he's my son; a very handsome one at that and you behave like him.” The woman replied and Tara gasped. “Does he attend our school?”Shr asked and the woman laughed. What kind of a child is this, one moment she acts mature and the next moment, she acts childish...after all she's a child. “No dear, he doesn't attend your school. He's a grown up.” The woman replied and Tara facepalmed herself. “I thought he was actually my age type.” “And...am done!” the woman said as she tied the last shoe lace. Tara stood up and the woman squatted to her level as she pecked her forehead. “Whenever I see you around your friends, it reminds me of my son when he was little. He's so shy and doesn't maintain eye contact, even though he's being bullied, he doesn't fight back.” “But am not that way ma...am very strong.” Tara said and the lady chuckled lightly before car-ssing her face. “You are really beautiful... you've got the prettiest eyes” “Wow...Thank you ma. But what about your son, where is he?” Tara asked with a sad expression on her face. “I have no idea dear...I don't know where he is or how he's doing.” “it's ok, you will be fine.” Tara hugged her. “I need to get to class now” The woman watched her as she ran to her class and a tear dropped down her face. The little girl reminds her of her beloved son whom doesn't know if he's alive or not. After cleaning her tear, she returned back to her duty. * * HONEY SALT'S KITCHEN* Asha wipes the tears that was seen on her face as she continued to mop the restaurant. Her energy has been drained and anyone who was smart could notice. “Don't you think you should stop for few minutes? You can collapse at this rate” Lucy said and she smiled faintly. “Am fine, I need to get my bonus. You know it means a lot to me.” Asha replied and she hmmmed. After a while she entered the kitchen to continue her cooking job too. The restaurant wasn't filled with much customers and Asha was glad. Her work would lessen and she needed it to. She kept cleaning and suddenly lost hold of the mop stick as she felt drowsy. She was about to collapse when she felt a hand wrapped around her waist. She looked up and found Josh holding her as his eyes gazed right into hers. Tbc....
