Royal Palace

“He wants me to leave the palace Elvira. I thought that since he said nothing about me staying here, he already agreed to us getting married but he just told the guards to get me out before he return” Velvet said in tears and when Elvira said nothing, she looked up to see Elvira lost in her own thoughts.

“Elvira!” Velvet called startling her.

“Are you even listening to me?” Velvet asked.

“Why should I when I have important things to think about. The phone which Ciara used in recording my crime is still no where to be found and here you are winning about you leaving the palace, just leave already ” Elvira yelled at her.

“You must think the world revolve around you. Well it doesn’t and I hope you never get to find the phone and end up being thrown out of the palace. Good riddance” Velvet yelled her way before leaving the room.

“I won’t be thrown out of the palace, I won’t let that happen” Elvira said to herself.

Wine Cellar

“Can you explain what this is to me?” Bethany asked as she showed him the letter from earlier.

She could see the shock on his face before he could to mask it.

“Do you really believe this?” Rex asked.

“I didn’t at first but your reaction now made me think other wise. Are you hiding something from me?” She asked.

“What can I possibly be hiding from you?” Rex asked.

“You tell me since you know what it is” Bethany replied slowly.

“Am not hiding a thing from you…If I were I…”

“I might be a poor maid and all but am not a fool. You are lying to me and if you aren’t ready to speak the truth, I don’t want to talk to you then” she said as she turn to leave but he held onto her hand.

“Fine then, I will tell you the truth” Rex said quickly.

“I…promise me that you won’t get angry” Rex implored.

“That depends on what you tell me” Bethany replied not making it easy for him.

“Well I…I made a bet on you. A bet to bed you” he began slowly ” I will admit that at first I wanted to win the bet but then I got to know you and ended up falling for you ” Rex added regretting his confession due to the look he saw on her face.

“I might have started the dare for the bet but I love you. I love you and that’s why am telling you the truth so you won’t be disappointed when you find out from someone else” Rex said with all sincerity.

“So I was just a bet to you?” Bethany asked as she move away from him.

“It’s all in the past, I love you Beth. I love you so damn much” he added as he move towards her but she pushed off his hand.

“Beth” he called trying to make her see his side of things.

“Am never going to trust you again” she said turning to leave only to turn back to him.

“And stay the hell away from me, I hate you Rex” she added before leaving the cellar.

Queen mother room

“Really? He came back with that girl?” The queen asked her personal maid and she nodded.

At that moment Reagan walked into the room.

“Why on earth did you bring back Ciara? I thought she’s gone for good?” Queen mother asked.

“And who told you that? Ciara is here to stay not as a guest nor as a fiancee but as my wife. You see mom, we just got married” Reagan informed.

“What!” The queen shrieked out in alarm ” Why would you do that without anyone’s knowing?”

“I don’t need to tell anyone a thing since am the king and can make decision for myself and also you shouldn’t be worried about my marriage to Ciara instead listen to this” Reagan said giving her a phone.

“What’s there to listen to?”

“The evil plot of your daughter” Reagan replied.

“I heard the king is back?” Willow asked as soon as Regina came into his room.

“He is”

“Then have got to be there with….”

“You aren’t going anywhere. You still need to have some rest” she countered and stood by his bed side so he wouldn’t be able to get off.

“But still, I need to report for duty ” he said managing to stand on his good leg.

“And I said no” Regina replied as she took hold of his hand wanting to make him seat but he pulled away.

” Just who the hell do you think you are to boss me around!” He yelled startling her.

“Am not bossing you. I just don’t want you to stress yourself”

“I don’t need you worrying about me. Do you think that by doing this, I will change my mind and date you? Well you are wrong cause I still wouldn’t and you want to know why….you are not woman, you are a girl who still needs more nurturing. I need a woman who can be a shoulder to rely on and you are nothing of that, so do me a favour and get out. You are begining to annoy me” He yelled at her.

Slowly a sad Regina made her way to the door and when she got there, she stopped to stare at him.

“Am sorry if I ever bothered you. I won’t be doing that anymore” she said and left the room making him regret the things he said.

“I really can’t believe this” Queen mother let out in shock after listening to the record.

“Why? Cause you’ve always thought Elvira to be a good person. You only clouded your mind from trying to see the truth and the truth is that your daughter hates me and wants me gone ” Reagan told her cruelly.

“I didn’t know she is this evil?”

“Now you know and you shouldn’t stop me from doing what I want to her” Reagan stated.

“What do you intend to do?”

“What I should have done a long time ago” Reagan replied before walking out of the room leaving his mother crying her eyes out.

Restaurant

“Why isn’t this ex of yours here yet?” Laura asked as they both sat waiting for Reagan to show up.

“Why do you ask, are you in a hurry to leave?” Rico asked.

“Ciara is returning from the hospital today and have got to be around when she arrives” Laura replied.

“Carina will be here soon and as soon as have made it clear that you are my girlfriend, we will leave” Rico stated.

“I can’t stand this anymore” Laura let out when there was still no sign of Carina.

“Am sorry Rico but have got to go” Laura said as she quickly walk off while Rico went after her and he caught up with her outside.

“Be patient a while more. Am sure she will…”

“Please Miss can you take a picture of us?” Laura asked a passer by.

“What are you doing?” Rico asked as they face the camera.

” Taking a picture” she replied as they both pose for the camera. ” Take another one miss” Laura urge and when the lady was about to take another one, Laura pulled Rico’s head towards her and gave him a kiss on the lips.

“Thank you miss” Laura thanked the lady before going back to him. ” Show this pictures to her and am pretty sure that she will forget about you for good. See you later” she said before dashing off.

“How can she just kiss me like that?” Rico muttered as he touch his lips.

Back At The Palace

“Let me go! Let go of me you fools!” Elvira yelled at the guard who were pulling her.

But they didnt release her until they got the field which had Reagan, Ciara and the other guards present.

“Why are you doing this Reagan?” Elvira asked.

“It’s time you pay for all your crimes” Reagan told her which got her shaking her head.

“Am innocent whatever Ciara has told you is a lie ” Elvira cried out quickly.

“Remember that you are talking to me, your brother. Who you tried to kill” Reagan said.

“Where’s our mom. She wouldn’t let you do this to me if she knew about it, get her for….”

“That’s enough! You’ve done enough and so it’s time you pay for it. Are the police here already?” Reagan asked the guard who nodded in return.

“Then get her out of here” Reagan ordered.

“You can’t do this to me, you have no right to do this. Call the queen, I need to speak to the…”

“I am the Queen now. See this” Ciara said showing her fingers to Elvira just so she can see the ring.

“Am married to Reagan which makes me the queen and so this new queen wants you out of the palace. What are you waiting for, get her out of here!” Ciara bark and immediately the guards pulled a shouting Elvira off.

Elvira sat still in the police car while they drove to the police station.

“I need to use the rest room” Elvira said.

“You will use that once you get to the police station ” one of the police officers replied.

“I can’t hold it back in, I need to use the rest room” she yelled at them and a while later they stopped the car in front of a convecience store.

While one of the police officer followed Elvira into the store, The other two stayed in the car waiting.

When it was taking them long, the other police officer went to check on them only to see the other police officer unconcious on the floor and with no sign of Elvira.

“Wake up dude! Where’s she?” The police officer said shaking the other officer who woke up.

“Where is she?”

“She escaped and she took my gun with her” the injured police officer said.

< Royal Palace ~ Evening >

“It feels good to be back” Ciara said as she twirled around in the room.

“And it feels good to have you back in my arms” Reagan said as he pulled her into his arms giving her a kiss.

“By the way. When will our wedding night take place?” Ciara said starring up at him.

“Soon but for now you need more rest and…”

“I know my body and my body wants you” she stated which got him laughing.

Leaning downwards, he gave her a kiss on the lips.

The kiss grew into a hot one and would have gotten far if Reagan hadn’t got a call.

“What? She escaped?” Reagan said and after talking some more , he ended the call.

“Elvira has escape? I need to go down to the station to know what’s going on” Reagan said giving her a kiss before leaving the room.

An hour went by and there was no news from Reagan.

Ciara left her room wanting to go talk to Laura when she felt something at the back of her neck.

“If you move, I swear to God that I will pull the trigger” Elvira said behind her and before Ciara could do a thing, she hit the gun at the back of her head.

Ciara woke up to find herself on top of a building.

She recognize it to be one of the palace building, the highest one to be precise.

She had been tied onto a chair, a chair which was place by the edge of a building

“You are finally awake. That’s good, you will be able witness your husband death, he will be here soon” Elvira said and at that moment they heard someone footsteps followed by the opening of a door.

“Ciara!” Reagan called breathing heavily.

“Move towards her and I will shoot you” Elvira yelled at him while pointing the gun at him.

“The one you have a problem with is me, let Ciara go” Reagan said.

“I would have only if you had listen to me but then you brought the cops with you and now everyone in the palace knows about me being here”

“So have decided not to spare anyone. We three will be dying here” Elvira added.

“No Elvira! Don’t do this” Ciara cried out.

“Why shouldn’t I ? Reagan have been the only thorn in my life but then you had to show up to add to it. Since have lost everything, it’s only right that you lose with me too” she said pointing the gun at Reagan.

“No Elvira! Don’t!” Ciara cried out trying to remove her hand.

“Don’t worry sweetie. You will be joining him too” Elvira added and fired the gun straight at Reagan.

“No! ” Ciara screamed just as she manage to loose the rope.

“Am going to kill you”Ciara said as she got out of the chair running straight at Elvira.

She hit the gun out of Elvira hand and gave her a punch on the face.

“Stupid girl!” Elvira yelled as she hit Ciara on the face too.

Getting riled up by this, Ciara gave her another punch on the face which got her falling on the floor.

Moving towards the gun, she picked it up and point it at Elvira.

“Am going to kill you!” Ciara threatened as she point the gun at Elvira.

“Do it then. Shoot me! Shoot me and avenge your husband death” Elvira screamed looking like a maniac.

Ciara was about to pull the trigger when the police officers showed up.

Few Months Later

Willow was going to see Reagan when Rico showed up.

“You look good. Reagan must be taking good care of you” Rico said.

“I would be lying if I say no. You also look good yourself” Willow complimented.

“Well I had to dress this way to escort Regina to airport. You know she’s leaving for Australia today for her studies?”

“I thought that was next week” Willow said.

“She decided to leave today and so we….where are you going?” Rico yelled when Willow ran off without listening to the rest.

After spending half an hour driving to the airport, he finally got there.

She wasn’t picking his call and luckily for him, the flight to Australia hasn’t left which means she’s still around.

His ran about searching for her but there was no sign of her any where. He dialled her number and luckily she answered.

“Where the hell are you? Am at the airport now and I can’t find you! Do you really intend to leave me? Don’t you know how much I love you? You said that you give up on me but you….”

“Willow” on hearing his name being called from behind, he turned to see Regina there with her luggage.

He quickly ran the few distance that separate them to hug her.

“I love you Regina. I thought that by pushing you away, you will get to realise that we aren’t meant for each other but I realise that I can’t live without you. Don’t leave me Regina, I love you so much” he said and slowly she wrap her arms around his waist.

” I love you Willow and I don’t intend to leave. Now that I know you want me ”

“I want you Regina. I will always want you for the rest of our life” he vowed and gave her a kiss.

Royal Palace

“Is he still refusing to eat?” Bethany asked as Ciara walk out of Rex room.

“He is and if he keeps on this way then he will get more worse. You need to talk to him” Ciara said and Bethany gave her a bow before going into Rex room.

“Just leave me alone, I don’t feel like eating” Rex let out, his back turned on Bethany who came in.

“You are being unfair” she let out and immediately that got him sitting up on his bed.

“You aren’t giving me the chance to hate you” Bethany added.

After the day he told her the truth, she’s been doing her best to avoid him which seemed to be working out fine until she learned about him being sick and refusing to eat.

“Bethany I….”

“Why do you keep doing things that hurt me? Why do you only think about yourself and no one else?”

“I do think about you. For the past one month, you’ve been on my mind Bethany. I love you, can’t you find it in your heart to forgive me?” Rex implored.

“Its not that easy”

“Then at least give me a chance to earn your forgiveness” He said as he got off the bed

“Give me a chance to prove to you that I really do love you and that that bet meant nothing to me” he said this now standing in front of her.

“Am afraid of giving my heart to you once again” Bethany confess.

“It’s okay to be afraid since all this started with a bet but I ended up falling in love with you. You are my everything Beth, if you leave me I will…”

“Shhh…don’t say that horrid word. If it’s a second chance you want then I will give it to you but remember that if you hurt me this time, I won’t ever forgive you ” she said which got him nodding in happiness.

“Remember also that you will be working twice as hard to win my love this time” she said

“I will and I promise never to hurt you again” he added slowly and with her permission, he gave her a kiss.

Days Later

Ciara made her way to the palace Garden thinking about everything that has happen for the past few days.

Regina chose to stay and continue her studies just to be close to Willow and there is Rex who has been nothing but a willing slave to Bethany, trying to fulfil her every wish.

Though it took a while, Queen mother finally accepted her and also decided to go on a tour around the world.

The shocking event of all was finding Laura and Rico in bed together. When she had demanded for an explanation they revealed that they’ve been dating each other and are very much in love.

And there is Elvira who ended up in the psychiatric ward. After the ordeal she caused, she was sentence to fifty years in prison and when her condition became worse they had no choice but to send her to a psychiatric ward.

Ciara let out a sigh as this thoughts flowed through her mind.

“What’s with the sigh?” Reagan asked and that got her turning to face him.

“Nothing much. Have just been thinking about everything” she replied.

“Everything that has to do with us?” Reagan asked and she nodded.

“Thinking isn’t good for one’s health and also you should let go of the past and enjoy the present. A present which has got us loving each other more” Reagan bit out.

“Am so glad that you had put on a bullet proof that day. If I had lost you, then I wouldn’t be able to…” She stop talking when he gave her a kiss.

“Think about the present, remember” he said laughingly.

“I love you so much Reagan” she said slowly.

“And I love you too my heart enchantment” he replied before giving her a kiss.
