CHAPTER 69,70,71.. 💋💖🥺

A Bucket of water was splashed on his face. He regained consciousness and almost immediately a punch landed on his right cheeks. He would have retaliate but he was tied to a chair .

“Again” he heard the command and another punch landed on his cheeks. This time, he spat out blood. His eyes were trying to adjust to where he is but they weren’t giving him a chance.

“Stop” another command was heard after the fifth punch and soon enough, he could recognize the people who surrounded him even though he didn’t know where he was.

“Wow” he laughed and all of them stared at him confused. Who would laugh in such a situation?

“Why are you laughing?” The leader asked trying to sound scary and angry but that didn’t move him.

“I can’t believe y’all. Injecting me with sleeping drugs and bringing me here for torture, is that all you got? ” He said with a smirk which angered the leader.

” D.amn you ” the leader cursed before landing a punch on his face. He felt his tooth crack in his mouth and more blood he spat but he still looked unfazed at what was happening. This wouldn’t be the first time they abducted him for torture so he has gotten used to it.

“Where is he?” The leader asked

“Where’s who?” He asked back feigning ignorance.

” Don’t act like you have no idea what am talking about. Where’s Damien? ” The leader asked again folding his arms.

He first of all looked at all of the men surrounding him. They were up to eight then he looked at the leader.

“Smoke” he called out his name of the leader.. “do you really think I’ll tell you about his whereabouts?” He asked with a smirk and smoke smiled.

” Don’t make this any hærder for you” smoke replied and gave a signal to one of his men.

He left and came back with a knife, throwing stars and hunchunks.

“Are you ready to talk?” Smoke asked asked taking the hunchunks from his men.

He scoffed. “Tell sazuki to go to h*ll and burn to ashes. You’ll never find Damien and Ezekiel, you can’t harm him anytime soon so y’all should just give up” he concluded and then a wipe landed on his back. He yelled in as severe pain. His yells filled everywhere as 2more wipes landed on his back.

“Dial sazuki” smoke commanded one of his men as he stopped wiping his hostage in front of him. He brought out a pack of cigarettes and lit it while waiting for the call to go through.

As soon as it went through, the phone was handed to smoke.

“Sazuki, he has refused to talk.” Smoke informed but sazuki didn’t reply.

” But am sure after a few more beating he’ll talk” smoke Said and waited for his master reply.

” Release him” came the reply from sazuki.

“What ? But am sure…”

“I Said release him” sazuki interrupted and smoke glared at the hostage.

“He’s quite loyal to the Lockhart brothers and so he won’t speak even though that means his death so release him” sazuki calm voice said and smoke folded his fist crushing the cigarette along even though it burnt his palm a little. His anger was greater than the pain.

“Sa….” The call was ended before he could say anything. He threw the phone to one of his men and held his hostage neck. His eyes w¡dened as he suffocated slowly.

“Your lucky this time. But this ain’t over” smoke threatened and released his neck.

” Untie him” smoke commanded and stepped back. He was as his men untied him and pushed him to the ground.

“You think y’all are smart. Hm… Our spy is currently living with the Lockharts and soon enough, they’ll get us every information we need” smoke Said and his hostage eyes w¡dened.

” A spy in the mansion?” He muttered to himself but smoke heard it and smirk seeing the frightened look on his face.

“Yes. And don’t bother looking for who it is. You won’t find out” he said and was walking away when suddenly he turned back and threw a throwing star at his leg.

“Arggggg” he yelled in pain and smoke smiled. He loved hearing him s¢ræm in pain. He turned around and disappeared into the dark along with men

A slap landed on Tristan cheeks. He held his cheeks and looked at his father who just hit him. His father has Never done that before.

“How dare you try to ruin my plans???” He yelled. Tristan stood still shocked.

“but dad… ”

” Don’t but me. How can you try to force yourself on kira. Does this look like your wedding night? ” He father yelled but Tristan stood not saying anything at all.

” What if she tells her father about it and he cancels the marriage. If that happens, all I planned and worked for a year for will fail all because of you” his father pointed at him in anger.

Thankfully, no one else was in the room except for him and his dad. It would have been embrassing if the maids and guards saw it.

“If she tells her father and he cancels the marriage,I will….” He sasx interrupted by a call. Checking the called ID ,it was Kira father calling.

“Just hope Kira hasn’t told him anything yet” he said and glared at his son before answering the call.

” Hello” he heard Kira’s dad voice and he replied back with hello.

“It seems like the party is still on and Kira is enjoying it that’s why she hasn’t returned” he sounded happy and oke could hear that he was teasing him.

” Oh yes. The party was nice but Kira left here not too long ago, hasn’t she returned?” Tristan father asked feigning ignorance.

” No she hasn’t” her father replied.

“Oh….am sure she’s on her way” Tristan dad said cursing in his mind.

” Am sure she is. I’ll call when she’s back” Kira father said and Tristan father nodded.

” Hope your feeling better now?” Tristan father trying to sound concern even though he wasn’t.

After a few more talks over the phone, the call ended and he faced Tristan who stood there quietly.

“Go and search for Kira and bring her back now!!!” He commanded and Tristan left the room murmuring as he headed for his room. The maids cleaning up kept looking at him and he wondered why. Not until he got to his room and faced the mirror and found 3finger marks on his cheeks which was caused by his father slap.

“Because of you Kira, my father hit me” he yelled and threw down everything on the table beside him in anger.

“I’ll make you pay for this slap in threefolds. Can’t wait for us to get married” he said with a smirk

” Where am I?” Kira looked like a lost puppy as she continued wondering in a city she didn’t know about. This was one of times she wished she had placed landmarks of her hotel to the Howard’s mansion.

“Ugggghhh” she yelled frustratedly. That’s when she realized that she was being followed by 3men. She became suspicious of them and increased her walking steps.

As she walked past, people gazed at her. She wasn’t surprised. After all she was still dressed in her engagement dress with her makeup still on but that wasn’t her worries. She took a turn and suddenly found herself in a alley and met a dead end and the men surrounded her.

“Heyy beautiful. Why are you running away? We just wanted to say hello” one of them said as they walked closer to her.

” Do y’all have a death wish?” Kira asked with a smirk and all men looked at themselves.

Just as one was about to touch her hair. She grabbed his hand and punched his mouth Making him bleed immediately.

The other two men froze as the one she punched stumbled till he fell.

“Who next?” She asked still smirking and the other two charged at her. She immediately grabbed their hair and slammed their face against each other and they fell on the floor gr-0aning in pain.

“You bitch” the one she had punched first quickly grabbed her and held her tightly from behind. She tried to wiggle from his hold as the other two were gradually getting up.

“We f*ck you till you bleed ” he threatened as Kira still tried to free herself. Suddenly she bit his arm and he yelled in pain releasing her and one of the other two slapped her hærd. She held her cheeks and smiled evilly before attaching him with punches. One of the other men got up and ran while she focused on punching the other two who were bleeding badly

“Do you think all women are weak?? Huh??” She yelled still landing punches on his face. The other one had already lost consciousness so she focused on one.

“What did you say?? That you will f*ck me till I bleed??!!” She kept on punching him. Her dress didn’t even get in the way of her handling him.

“Ba$tard” she cursed as she got up From the last man seeing he lost consciousness.

“Congrats” she heard a voice and a man coming out of the shadows leaping.it took her a while but she recognized him.

“Savior” she called out and ran to him before he could collapse.

“What Happened to you? Who did this to you?” She could feel tearing filling her eyes as she looked at his face. He looked badly beaten up. Worst than the men she had just beaten.

“Take me….home” he managed to say before losing consciousness.

He woke up in the morning and found himself in his apartment. He was surprised and shocked . He managed to stand up with struggle but not much struggle as he should have. The pains on his back too weren’t much. They were there but manageable.

“What’s going on?” He asked himself Wondering how he got home and who took care of him and his wounds.

Sounding he heard water rushing from the bathroom. Someone was in his home. Just then , the person walked out and his eyes w¡dened.

“You” he exclaimed and Kira chuckled.

“Yes me” she said and walked to the wardrobe. He stared at her as she walked to his wardrobe looking for clothes. He couldn’t take his eyes off her as she was in his robe. But nevertheless,he kept wondering how she got here and why she’s here.

“Why are you here?” He asked with a frown. Kira finally picked out a white T-shirt and black shorts.

“You don’t remember anything?” Kira asked instead and dropped the clothes she picked beside him then she went and collected his lotions and began applying it on her skin

“Hey that’s mine” he yelled watching her apply it.

“Calm down . Am not drinking it” she said and rolled her eyes.

He frown and was walking to her to her when he stopped recalling everything that happened yesterday.

He sighed.

“Thanks” he simply said and Kira stopped and looked at him.

“For??”

“For taking care of me and caring for my wounds” he said and smiled a little.

” There’s no need for that. You saved me twice. I just had to repay the favor” she said and smiled back.

She walked to the bed and grabbed the clothes on the bed.

“What are you doing?” He asked squinting his eyes.

“Making myself at home” she replied and winked at him.

“Meaning?” He asked frowning again.

“I want to stay here from now on” she said and he held her hand before she passed him.

“You can’t stay here”

“Why?”

“Because… because…I don’t know..but you can’t” he said and Kira rolled her eyes.

“You have no reason to refuse. Besides I saved your a$s last night. This is the least you could do big head” she said and yanked his hand off her arm and he scoffed.

” Fine.” He finally agreed and Kira headed for the bathroom. He stared at her from the back as she purposely swayed her h¡ps as she walked.

“This is a bad idea” he said shaking his head.
★★FLASHBACK PAUSED★★

” You stayed with him?” Anna asked and Kira smiled sadly.

“Yes.”

“So how does did you get pregnant. Am not understanding you Kira.” Mira finally said and Kira sighed.

” I stayed with him for a couple of months. I think you to 3 or 4. I enjoyed my stay with him honestly. But then,things between us Because…..heated….I fell in love with him and soon we became intimate. He was so caring then. He told me how much he loved me and all and I believed him. I loved him so much…” Kira could once again feel tears filling her eyes.

“I couldn’t see myself getting married to Tristan any more. I wanted him and only him. So he proposed to me and I was happy and glad and I left for home. I threw the ring back at Tristan face and told my dad why I did it. Dad was glad I found a man for myself and he told me to invite him over which I did .. but…” She paused

” But….”

” But dad rejected him..”
★★FLASHBACK CONTINUES★★

Kira came down from the car and so did he when he finally packed the car.

“Liam, let’s go in” Kira said and took hold of his arm and he smiled at him even though he was nervous.

Liam had told Kira his middle name cause he didn’t want her to know the name he actually bears cause of sazuki. It will endanger her if she knew his real name . Although it hurts him to lie to the woman he loves but he had no choice.

“You nervous?” She asked and he nooded slowly biting his l-ips and they stood at the front porch of the new apartment her parents had rented in Spain.

Kira smiled before planting a soft k-iss on his l-ips.

“Don’t be. ” She said assuringly as she pulled away from his l-ips and he smiled.

Then Kira knocked on the door and soon enough her mom opened it and they were both ushered in.

” Hey Mom” Kira smiled and hugged her mom.

“Good day ma’am” Liam greeted bowing a little and Kira smiled.

“Is he the one?” Her mom asked staring at Liam and Kira nodded.

“Seems like my daughter has good eyes. His handsome” Kira’s mom whispered the last part and Kira blushed hærd and nodded. Even though it was whispered,Liam heard it and blushed too. His ears were red with embarrassment.

“Same to you young man..your dad is in the sitting room come-on”Kira’s mom said and held her daughter hand while Liam followed suit.

Her dad was in the sitting room just as her mom had said reading a news paper.

“Dad” Kira called out and he looked up and saw his wife and daughter coming and he smiled until he saw the young man behind them. He immediately knew it was the man Kira claims she wants to marry

Kira hugged her dad and sat on the sofa opposite him along with Liam while her mom sat with her dad.

“How are you doing my dear?” He asked his daughter and Kira smiled .

” Am good dad. I brought him with me” Kira said taking Liam hand in hers. Right then,Liam was feeling shy but he did his best as possible to hide it. He could see Kira’s dad scrutinizing him so he kept a straight look and tighten his hold on Kira’s hand. Kira looked at him and smile.

Her dad saw everything and glanced at his wife who nodded.

“Nice meeting Mr Reinhart” Liam managed to say and Kira father nodded.

“You too. Erm…what’s your name? You wouldn’t mind me asking you a few questions right?. I just want to be sure of who my daughter wishes to marry” Kira’s dad and Liam nodded.

” I don’t mind sir. My name is Liam” he said.

“Liam what…?”

” Nothing. Just Liam” he replied plainly and Kira’s dad glanced his wife again.

” Don’t you have a surname? ” Her dad asked curiously. Even Kira was curious to know. She has never thought of knowing his surname before.

“I don’t sir. My parents are late. They died shortly after I was birthed” Liam explained and Kira countenance became sad. She didn’t know that and she never bothered to ask. How uncaring!!

“Am sorry to hear that but no one ever told you your surname or don’t you have relatives?” Her dad asked and Kira glared at him but her dad didn’t care.

“I don’t know. I didn’t grow up with any. I was trained by a stranger” he replied.

” Ahh ..I see…so why not bear their surname?” Her dad asked again. Kira was becoming uncomfortable with her dad questions.

“I do not wish to sir” he said .

“But…”

“Dad..” Kira called out interrupting him and he rolled his eyes.

“Okay. What do you do for a living?” Her dad asked instead. “I want to be sure that your financially stable to care for my daughter”

“Am a bodyguard” he said and Kira’s eyes w¡dened so did her mom and dad. She didn’t know that. She literally doesn’t know much about him cause he’s so secretive.

“A body guard..???” Her dad asked to confirm and Liam nodded.

Kira’s dad face become expressionless and Kira became scared. That was not a good look.

“Where do you work?”

“In America”

“How come your in Spain or is your boss here?”

” No. I came on a vacation”.

Kira and her mom kept quiet watching Kira’s dad question him but nevertheless, she still held his arm.

“Who do you work for?”

Before Liam could answer, his phone ranged. He checked the caller and Kira peeped.

“Boss” she muttered under her breath. His boss was calling.

“Am sorry sir. This is an important call so I have to take it ” he said and Kira dad nodded and he got up and walked away from them.

Kira gulped bad looked at her dad who was looking at her.

“What do you think Dad?” Kira asked and crossed her fingers in her laps.

” You can’t marry him!!”
