CHAPTER 88.. ✨

“boss she’s awake” she heard someone say. Mira immediately sat up to look at everyone. There were five in the room. 3boys and 2 girls.

Mira could tell that they were working for her kidnappers. They didn’t even bother to hide their faces. They were all scary looking with straight faces.

“Who are you all?” Mira ask frightened. Soon a man walked in,side. His face was masked up and she couldn’t tell who he was. She couldn’t even see his eyes. But Mira felt like she knew him. Deep down, she felt like she knew him personally.

She didn’t want to lay accusing fingers on anyone she suspected but the feeling wouldn’t bulge off.

The masked man walked to her and squatted in front of her. Mira shifted away from him but he still came closer.

Then he touched her hair and smiled which of course Mira didn’t see as his face was covered.

“Who are you?” Mira asked but he ignored her question. Moving his hand to her cheeks,Mira gasped shifting away.

He stopped and got up . He gave some signals to his gang before leaving.

“I wonder why boss brought her here” one of the girls muttered before leaving.

All of them left one by one leaving only one girl who was staring at Mira. She was the one who kidnapped her on her boss order and brought her here.

Mira looked at her wanting to say something but she immediately left before Mira could talk locking the door as she left.

Ezekiel was done making the call and has long been searching for Mira but he hadn’t found her yet.

He told her that he would announcing to his family about the engagement and wedding. All he wanted now was to spend time with her but she was nowhere to be found.

He finally s₱0tted Anna sitting in a corner and approached her. She looked sad and lonely although.

“Have you seen Mira?” Both of them asked at the same time. They stared at each other surprised.

” What do you mean? I thought she’s with you” Ezekiel said immediately.

” I also thought the same. I haven’t seen Kira too but I know she’s with Dylan. ” Anna said too.

” Maybe she went home” Ezekiel proposed and Anna looked at him unsure.

” She would have told someone. I’ve asked Mabel and some maids. I’ve even asked Isabella…no one knows where she is” this statement of Anna Made Ezekiel worried.

Mira was no where to be found.

“But maybe your right. She may have gone home if something came up with Mrs levenson. I’ll be going home too. Since I have nothing else to do here” Anna told him and he nodded.

” Call me if you find her at home okay” .he instructed and Anna nodded carrying her handbag.

Lucas finally found her sweeping. The party was already over and the maids were cleaning up. She has been avoiding him for two weeks now. He didn’t know why . He hadn’t done anything wrong yet she refused to talk to him.

But now was the opportunity since no one was around them.

“Sophie”, he called out softly and she turned. Her eyes w¡dened when she saw him and was about run but he held her hand.

“Why are you avoiding me?” He asked but she yanked his hand off.

” Please stay away from me. ” She whispered.

” Why??..did I do something wrong?” He asked again

” no you didn’t. Am just an ordinary maid Lucas….”

” And so?? I don’t care. I just want you” he said softly holding her shoulders and looking into her eyes.

But soon she looked away.

“I’ll be dropping my work as a maid here very soon.. I’ll leave this country too. I’ve spoken to Mabel about. She has agreed. I’ll be leaving forever Lucas. I want you to get over me before then cause you will never see me again” she informed her and quickly hugged him but Lucas was too frozen to hug back from what she just told him.

“Am sorry” she pulled away and ran before he could stop her.

“Lucas…Mira…Mira is Missing” Ezekiel said panting. Lucas looked at the direction she ran too before looking at Ezekiel.

“What do you mean?” He asked .

“She’s not in the mansion and she’s not in her apartment. Where could she possibly be?” Ezekiel sounded scared .

” Calm down sir. We’ll find her.”

“I need to find her now” he yelled and left. Lucas sighed. He looked at the direction Sophie left before turning to follow Ezekiel.

“What did you just say?”Dylan asked surprised.

” Am pregnant Liam” she repeated and Dylan shut his eyes sighing

“Abort it. I don’t need a child now. That’s just load on my neck” Kira looked at him . Her heart shattering.

“How could you say that? I should abort our child? You jerk…how could you say such a disgusting thing to me” she yelled.

” Abort the child or prepare to care for it alone” he said heartlessly and walked away..

” Liam” Kira yelled before…

She snapped out of her imagination. She imagined Dylan rejecting the child and now she was scared.

“Am pregnant Liam. Am carrying your child” Kira repeated closing her eyes shut as more tears flowed from her eyes. Right now, she expected him to deny her or shout at her. He wouldn’t accept her because of his jobs and her dad, so why would he accept her because of a baby who is yet to be born.

‘ maybe I shouldn’t have say anything about it’, Mira said inwardly.

She was surprised when he carried her and twirling her around happily.

Kira giggled enjoying it. . The tears drying on her face.

“Your Seriously carrying my child? So am going to be a father?” He asked and Kira nodded.

” You don’t know how happy this made me” he whispered in her ears after bringing her down.

“But I’ll just marry Tristan like you said” Kira said and he stiffen . He looked at her seriously

“Don’t you dare” he said sternly. “I won’t let that jerk take both you and my child” he added hugging her.

” What about my dad and your job?” Kira asked softly.

” We’ll think of something Kira. I promise” he whispered.

” Dylan”, he heard someone calling him and he broke the hug seeing Lucas running to him.

“I need you now. We have a problem” he said stopping a few distance away before leaving.

“I’ll be back okay..and I promise to sort out everything so that we can be together” he whispered and k×ssed her forehead before leaving.

Kira touched her head before remembering an important question.

“Why did he lie to me about his name?” She asked herself loudly biting her l¡ps.

Lady Ri finally arrived at the sazuki clan. She totally forgot the instructions that she shouldn’t ever come there in the night but she was too furious to remember.

They collected her money but didn’t carry out the work. They cheated her. Lady Ri couldn’t let that stand.

She spent up to 100 thousand dollars for them to finish Mira yet Mira was alive and breathing. How is that possible?

She was expecting them to attack her on the way like last time but they didn’t. Soon she got to the main gate and it opened for her without her even knocking.

She was scared but she masked it up with anger. She was furious that they didn’t carry out their part of the bargain.

After entering the big large gate, she got to a smaller one which unlike the big gate, she had to knock.

2men masked came out.

“What are you doing here by this time? Don’t you know it’s dangerous to be here?” The deep voice of one of the masked men asked which sent shivers down her spine.

But she masked up her fears with anger.

“I don’t care. I demand to see your boss” Lady Ri demanded and the two masked men glanced at each other before looking at her.

“Do you have a death wish? You can’t see sazuki now leave” the other one said and pushed her before shutting the gate.

Lady Ri gasped as soon as they locked the door on her face.

“Y’all are cheats!!”

“Open this damn door. Lemme speak to their useless leader of yours.”

” I demand a refund. Traitors.”

” Do you know who I am?”

Lady Ri kept yelling at the top of her voice while banging on the gate. She was disturbing the serenity of the environment and sazuki loved quietness. He sent his second in command to find out what was going on.

The moment he got to the gate, the two masked men who denied lady Ri entry bowed slightly.

“What’s going on?” He said shouting a bit cause of lady Ri.

“A woman demands to see sazuki” they replied and he went silent.

” Let her in” smoke Said after some thoughts.

” What? But sazuki…”

“Are you questioning me? I said let her in” smoke shouted and they gulped.
He was their Superior so they had to obey him.

They quickly opened the door and allowed lady Ri. She followed Smoke who led her the same place she walked in to years back.

She could see the throne was still backing her. It didn’t look like they had moved it an inch.

“What do you want?” His scary voice resounded in the big hall which was empty except for lady Ri, Smoke and Sazuki whose face no one has seen yet.

“I want my 100 thousand dollars back..you cheated me and I do not accept cheaters” lady Ri stated fearlessly.

” Explain” he said calmly

” What do you mean by explain? I called you to kill Mira instead you killed someone else and sent the body to me. You didn’t kill my target I want my money back or my target finished” layla RI yelled.

” Keep you voice down” Smoke yelled back.

,”To hell with you” she yelled at smoke before facing back the throne.

” Are you daft or something? I said I want my money back. You mafia Lords are good for nothing. Cheating everyone you see. Well don’t mess with me or I’ll send you to hell to greet the devil for me” the moment she completed that statement, a bullet was shot and everywhere went silent.

Lady Ri eyes were wide as she sunk to her knees slowly. She was shot on her forehead.

“She talks too much. Clear the body” Sazuki commanded and smoke nodded getting some boys to carry lady Ri away.

Just then Sophie entered and greeted him and smoke Bowing a little.

“What information do you have for me?” Sazuki asked without wasting time.

“The girl has agreed to do what we’ll say. Very soon we’ll have Mira but” Sophie paused contemplating how she’ll say it.

” But what?” Smoke asked impatiently. Even Sazuki was impatient to hear what she has to say.

“Mira is missing. She has been kidnapped” she said and Sazuki smirked while smoke looked confused.

“Who dares to kidnap my target before I do? Sazuki demanded
