{Six Months Contract With Mr Arrogant}

I’ve never been so dumbfounded all my life.

Carly was a V-rgin all these while? Like… She’s never been touched?

I would never imagine it!

I stared at her still amazed. Now being her fake husband really hit me hærd on the face.

“Carly….. I can’t believe this.” I finally said.

She glanced up at me and smiled slightly. ” It’s normal. People don’t believe V-rgins exists.”, She replied and started putting on her clothes.

It hurts like hell!,
My hærdened balls deflated immediately.

“Carly… You don’t have to leave.” I said, trying to keep the disappointment off my voice.

She got down from bed. “This never should have taken place at first. I’m sorry. As much as this is a game between us, I can’t risk something so precious. ” With that she left the room.

I was heartbroken. No woman had ever said something so capturing before.

I almost called her back… Almost held her from going out the door but I just couldn’t. I only watched the ye door slam shut after her.

Sighing I collapsed back into bed, really so disturbed.

The past three months had been so hectic and full of travelings.

I barely stayed at home and badly,I already started missing Carly.

I would never have imagined I would one day,miss a woman. It never happened before until now.

During a business trip to Mexico, I realised I’ve fallen deeply in love with Carly and I couldn’t deny it.

In less than two months,our contract together will be over.

Am I really ready to let her go?

? Carly ?

“Come in.” I said in hearing the knock on the front door.

It opened and Leo stepped in, beaming.

I was surprised he could come visiting.

“Oh… Hi.” I said smiling back as he came in. I looked behind him hoping to see his wife but no one was with him.

“I came alone. Just wanted to say hi.” Leo said softly and I smiled, offering him a seat.

He sat looking around. “Guess Simon is out on a business trip?” He asked.

“Yes he is. What do I offer you? ” I asked standing in front of him.

He shrugged. ” Anything dear.”, He replied still smiling.

I nodded and left for the kitchen. I came back minutes later with a glass of lemonade juice and passed it over to him.

He drank while I sat opposite him. Looking at him now, I could see he was totally different from Simon in features and character.

What’s he here for anyway?

“How is Ria? It’s been long I’ve seen her last.” I said trying to bring up a conversation.

He shrugged. ” She’s at home and she has refused to come out at all.

Simon always gets the better things even when we were still kids.

You are pretty. ” He suddenly said and I blushed.

” Huh… Thanks. ” I said nervously suddenly becoming uncomfortable.

“Wanna ask you something Carly and I want you to be cooperative and truthful. ” He said with his voice and face changing.

What’s he talking about?

“Sure…” I stammered.

“What happened….?”The front door began to open, cutting him short.

I looked up to see Simon coming into the house.

He stopped in his tracks once he saw Leo. He had this angry expression on his face immediately.

I looked away while Leo stood up clapping. “Little bro is back from Mex?” Leo said sarcastically and I looked at him.

” What the hell do you think you are doing here,Leo? You knew I wasn’t around!” Simon exploded. I couldn’t tell the reason why he was so angry.

” Oh…my bad. Is it bad to wanna say his to my brother’s wifey?” Leo asked and blew a sigh.

“I think it’s really crazy. Don’t you even come an inch closer to her!” Simon yelled into his brother’s face.

They stood looking at each other.

“Enjoy this while it lasts, little bro. I will come get what’s mine.”, With that Leo turned and left the house.

I frowned. There is something strange about him.

“And what did you think you were doing with that bastard?” Simon’s voice jolted me back.

I glared at them. ” What?”

“You were home alone with another man Carly. You are permitted to stay home alone with me only.” He said coming nearer.

I couldn’t help but smile. He’s jealous.

“You are yet to welcome me. It’s been two weeks.” Simon gro-ned and pulled me close to himself.

“Yeah and our deal is gradually coming to an end.” I replied and I felt him stiffened.

” You are in a hurry to leave?” He ashes softly looking into my face.

” Wanna have back my normal life,Simon. I don’t want to continue living a fake life.” I sighed and he stood silently looking into my eyes.

” I will be upstairs in my room. Do you mind making me something to eat…never mind.” Simon said and I smiled.

” I will. What do you wanna eat?”

? Simon ?

I can’t imagine life without you,Carly. I can’t imagine life without your troubles and beautiful face.

You’re gradually bringing out the good man in me…how can I let you go just in two months time?

No way…. that’s suicidal!

I thought as I got into my room and unpacked my stuff.

Something fell off my coat pocket and I picked it up smiling.

It’s now or never, Simon. I said to myself staring at the door.

I freshened up and walked downstairs for the early dinner.

I couldn’t wait to taste her delicious food on my l-ips.

She sat opposite me on the dinning while I ate with satisfaction.

After dinner we both sat on the sofa in front of the fire place.

Since last three months ago after finding out she was still a V-rgin,I’ve tried everything possible to stay away from her but tonight I knew I couldn’t.

I snuggled her against me, car-ssing ber smooth cheeks.

When she looked up to stare into my eyes,our l-ips met and I k-ssed her softly.

She relaxed more on me making me tighten my arms around her.

She broke the k-ss and moved back bit on the couch. “Don’t want us to go too far.” She whispered.

I looked into her eyes. ” Why? Because I’m fake?” I asked.

“Guess so.”

“Then marry me.” I said suddenly, startling the night out of her.

“What??” She gasped.

“Yes Carly.” I replied and brought out the little box of ring from my pocket and slowly went down on my knees before her. “I’m dead serious Carly.

I want to b real in your life ..want you to be the woman of my life…I love you more than words can explain…” I said and opened the little box which revealed a sparkling golden ring.

I stretched it in front of her shocked face.
“Once again… I ask you Carly Evans…… Will you marry me??”

Episode Thirteen ?

I was dead shocked that he could propose to me.

I was greatly startled. And scared. I stood up from the couch and moved back and shook my head.

“No…no….I… can’t marry you.”

“What? Carly…why?” Simon gasped as he stood up coming towards me.

” No.. please don’t touch me.” I cried and ran out of the living room.

? Simon ?

I was devasted.

What happened?

I looked at the box in my hand before running after her.

What will life look like with someone so arrogant?

I love him but I don’t wanna end up in a crazy sad home.

I paced about my room and suddenly my door opened.

I looked up to see Simon coming in. “Carly…. please don’t say no. I love you…I promise.”

I stared at him as he talked.

Did he just say please?

For the first time…Mr arrogant sincerely said the word,please.

“Simon..I’m sorry but you have to give me some time to think about this. Please.” I said softly.

He nodded and put the ring away. “Okay… alright.” And he walked out.

I ran my hands over my hair and inhaled deeply. I can’t risk ending up with the wrong man.

? Leonard ?

“Another bottle,Nita.” I said to the bar girl behind the counter.

She passed me a bottle of Heineken while I light up a fresh cigarette.

“Boss!”

I looked up and saw the men I was waiting for.

“What took you so long?” I asked, puffing out smoke from my nose and mouth.

” The traffic was bad. ” Harry, the leader of the three guys said.

“Let’s get into business Immediately. Follow me ” I said and we walked towards a staircase.

We walked into a room and I took out a piece of paper from my front pocket. “Here is the house address. You just have to stay around the corner and watch out for her.

I don’t want any mistakes, Harry. Carry out this stuff with no traces. ” I said quietly.

Harry smiled. ” You can count on me boss. I’m gonna do a wonderful job.” Harry assured me and I smiled.

They left after I gave them half of the money they charged.

I smiled as soon as they left. Once Carly is out of the picture, taking that bastard down would be more easy.

?Carly?

The next day,I left the house very early in the morning and went straight to Tiara’s house.

I couldn’t bear to see Simon in the morning.

Wasn’t really sure what I’m afraid of…I love him but he still frightens me so much.

“Wow….what a surp!” Tiara exclaimed when she opened the door.

My hair and face was w-t from the early morning snowflakes.

I shrugged and walked into the kitchen for a cup of coffee.

“What happened?” Tiara asked standing against the door.

I sighed and looked up from the kettle on fire. “He proposed.” I simply said and Tiara gasped.

“Oh my God!!” Tiara scre-med and jumped on me.

” Then why are you so sad! Girl…. You should be happy! ” Tiara gasped.

” I know Tiara…. But I’m scared. He’s… Just too arrogant.” I replied.

Tiara rolled her eyes. ” You told me he’s changing, right? You don’t have to worry about that. He’s gonna change for you. Promise. ” Tiara said and I sighed.

” Can I stay here today?, I don’t wanna go home yet. “I said softly.

Tiara nodded. “You don’t need to ask me. Thus place has always been ours. Both of us. But girl… You should accept him.

I think he loves you.” Tiara said and I looked at her.

” Maybe. ” I replied and sighed again.

After having breakfast with Tiara, we both went out.

We visited the mall, the beauty spa and finally her mom’s house.

Unlike me, Tiara still have someone to call mom.

She has two kid sisters too and they all look alike. I had fun with them.

It was getting dark when finally we returned to Tiara’s house.

“I think it’s time to go back home. He’s gonna be worried.” Tiara said and I nodded.

” I know. But I’m scared. I don’t want to rush into marrying him.” I said.

” Okay…will you like to spend the night then?” Tiara asked.

” No. I didn’t tell him I wasn’t gonna come back home today. Thanks anyways.” I said with a smile.

We both hugged before she saw me off to my car.

I drove into the dark road minutes later.

While driving,I made up my mind to say yes to Simon.

I knew I couldn’t do without him.

I love him very much and I’m so ever ready to say yes.

Once I drove into the estate, I noticed another car trailing up behind me.

I glanced at the rear view mirror and frowned.

I could tell they well following me!

My heart almost jumped into my throat as I sped up but they continued following me with equal speed.

I was getting in front of the house,when the car double crossed me in front.

I scre-med and jerked the car to a stop.

Who the hell are they!!

“Miss…will you kindly come down!” One of them said, opening my car.

Trembling I came down, daring not to look into their face.

Oh Simon….help me.

I prayed and suddenly, something was pressed against my nose and my view became blur then I passed out.

I woke up later in a room.

I looked around and noticed my hands were already tied.

“Hello…! Somebody.. help!” I scre-med but my words only bounced back at me.

I heard some men talking outside the door.

“You caught her already? Is she in,side?” I heard a voice from outside.

The door opened and someone came into the room.

I was shocked as he approached.

I know this figure… I know this face…

I gasped more louder as he came into full view .

He was also shocked!

“Harry?” I gasped.

He stared at me shocked. “Carly? Oh my God!! You guys don’t tell me she’s the one you brought here as an hostage!!”

“You know her?” The other guy behind him asked.

Harry nodded still looking at me. “Of course yes idiot!!
This is my girlfriend… The one I’ve been looking for! ”
