As Gregor went upstairs,Casey grabbed Alex’s hand and they also left leaving just Annabella and Mrs Kim.
Annabella faced her with a sigh
“I think I’m not needed here” She muttered sadly
“Be patient,just a little bit. I’m going to talk to him” Mrs Kim said
“But he made up his mind already,and besides the kids doesn’t like me. So I have no reason to be here Mrs Kim” Annabella said
“I will talk to my boss okay? I promise to get back to you,go for now” Mrs Kim assured and Annabella nodded
“Fine,I will be waiting for your call” She muttered and out.
As she left the island,her phone started ringing out. She brought it out of her bag,it’s Aurora calling her so she answered immediately.
“Babe where are you??” Aurora asked
“I stepped out a little bit,why?” Annabella asked
“I’m on my way to your place,hurry up” Aurora said
“Oh sure,I’m coming home already” Annabella said
“See you” Aurora said and hanged up

RODRIGO’S APARTMENT
Cindy was in the living room lying on the couch while she munch the chips in her hand,she looked up when the door bell jingled.
“Who’s there?” She asked but got no answer so she dropped her chips and stood up. She walked to the door and opened only to find Aurora standing,Cindy stared at her questionably
“Who are you?” She asked and Aurora raised her brows
“I was about asking you that,it’s not my first time coming here” Aurora scoffed and tried to enter but Cindy pulled her back
“Hey little rat,what are you trying to do??” She asked
“What? Little rat? Who?” Aurora asked in shock
“Do I have to answer that question when it’s just the two of us here?” Cindy asked
“Oh right,you’re the little rat. You were acting like the fake Wednesday Addams so it was confusing” Aurora said and Cindy groaned
“Oh gosh…she’s dumb” She mumbled
“I’m coming in” Aurora tried again
“Are you insane?! I said who are you?!” Cindy yelled and pushed her out again
Aurora bite her lips
“And who are you? Door keeper? Anyways,I am Aurora,Anna’s best friend,happy now?” She asked
“How come she never told me anything about you?” Cindy asked
“So who are you?” Aurora asked
“Cindy,her childhood friend and also her best friend” Cindy said proudly
“The last time I asked if she have a childhood friend,she said never” Aurora said and Cindy frowned
“What are you trying to say?” She asked
“F**k off” Aurora tried to enter forcefully
Cindy suddenly released the door and Aurora landed on the floor
“Ouch!” She screamed
“Oh sorry,I didn’t mean to do that” Cindy smirked
Aurora got up and made to slap her but Cindy grabbed the hand
“If you try that I will slice your neck” Cindy said and Aurora scoffed
“Who the f**k do you think you are?” She asked
“Just Cindy” She smirked
“What’s going on here?” Annabella entered
“Where the f**k did you get this crazy sh*t?!” Aurora snapped
“I didn’t introduce……”
“I don’t need to know her more than this” Cindy scoffed and sat down,she took her chips and started eating.
“Come on girls,you two should get along. Drama queens” Annabella said
“Me?? And her?? Never!” Aurora said
“I’m not planning to get along with you either rat” Cindy said
“Cindy!” Annabella groaned
“When is your date with Thadeus?? I’m dressing you up” Aurora said
“Is she crazy? I thought I already said I would dress you up” Cindy said
“This is not a wedding guys please….”
“I’m choosing your outfit,that’s it” Aurora said
“Yeah,Cindy can make my hair then” Annabella muttered
Cindy scoffed and ignored them
“Gosh” Annabella sighed.

CAMPBELL’S ISLAND
Gregor was just coming from the lounge when a knock came on his door
“Come in” He muttered and the door opened
Mrs Kim entered
“Is something wrong?” Gregor asked
“I’m here to talk to you about…Annabella” Mrs Kim said and Gregor raised his brows
“Who’s that?” He asked
“Oh…the young lady that came here in the morning” Mrs Kim replied
Gregor sat down and crossed his legs
“Go on” he muttered
“Actually…..the reason why I brought Anna is because she’s not a stranger to me. I wouldn’t want to bring just any outsider into this place at this moment. We need someone we can trust with both the house and the kids. Anna is young,hardworking and decent,why don’t you just give her a try?? I’m sure the kids would change their minds later when she start working here,and you’re going to like her also” Mrs Kim said and there was silence
“You know I won’t want anyone hurting my kids,they said they don’t want her. I don’t want to do otherwise” Gregor said
“Please talk to them,I know this is all my fault but it came as an emergency and I won’t want to make a mistake because of that ,,,reason why I brought Annabella here,please” Mrs Kim said
“Are you sure she’s the right choice?” Gregor asked
“Please trust me just this once,I don’t mind taking up any responsibility that comes with it” Mrs Kim said
Gregor nodded
“I will try to convince the kids,so I will get back to you” He muttered
“Thank you so much” Mrs Kim bowed and walked out of the room
After a while,Gregor left his room and walked over to the kids study room,their home teacher just finished with them when he entered
“Oh,Mr Bells! So nice to see you” She exclaimed happily,that’s because it’s really rare to see Gregor showing up in the kids study room
“Yeah” He replied shortly,ignoring the teacher’s excitement
“Bye Alex and Casey” She waved at them before going out
“Baby!” Casey shouted and immediately jumped on him
“How was it?” Gregor asked and kissed her hair
“It was interesting,see,I got 90% from my maths classwork” She said proudly
“You’re so amazing baby,tell me anything you want” Gregor said
“Let’s go out together baby” Casey said amd Gregor nodded
“But not tonight coz daddy has a plan,but a promise” he said and they locked their pinky fingers which made Casey laughed
“How about you dude” Gregor dropped Casey and pulled Alex closer too
“He got the full marks” Casey said and Alex smiled,showing Gregor his note
“Wow,aren’t you the most brilliant person in the world right now?” Gregor asked amd Alex smiled more wider
“Tell me what you want” Gregor said
“Spend more time with us” Alex said
“You don’t think I’m spending enough time with you?” Gregor asked and Alex shook his head
“You know I have to work right?” Gregor asked
“My friends always talk about how they spend the weekends with their daddy at the beach but we’ve never gone to a beach before,I want to go there” Alex said
“Your friends dad or me?” Gregor asked
“Of course you Daddy!?” Casey and Alex chorused and Gregor smiled
“I’m sorry for not spending enough time with you,I will try to make time available,okay? So don’t get sad because of that” Gregor said
They nodded and both moved into his chest
“We love you daddy”
“I love you more than anything in the world” Gregor smiled and kissed their cheeks
“How about we talk?” He asked and they moved back
“Mrs Kim will be leaving and we need someone to look after you” Gregor said
“You said she will look for someone,not that lady” Casey said
“Why don’t we just..give her a chance?? Like,maybe two weeks?” Gregor asked
“Will you chase her out after that two weeks?” Casey asked
“Of course,if you still don’t like her after two weeks,I will send her away,trust me” Gregor said and Casey sighed sadly
“I’m fine with that” Alex said and Gregor faced Casey
“I don’t want her close to you daddy” She muttered
“I never said she will get close to me,she’s going to be a maid Casey” Gregor said
“Promise?” She asked and Gregor was confused,why all of a sudden
“Of course Casey,promise” He said and she smiled
“Then,two weeks. It will be over soon” She saud amd Gregor chuckled
“Pretty superstars” he said and they both laughed

SOMEWHERE IN THE CITY
“When the f**k are you supposed to get here?! How long?! I’ve been waiting over ten minutes!” Melanie yelled at the mechanic on the phone and hanged up.
She was on her way to a restaurant when her car broke down and now she’s frustrated because no car is even passing.
She sighed out and lean on her car,shaking her feet aggressively until a car suddenly parked beside hers. She didn’t bother looking up since she’s not In the mood.
“Melanie?” The familia voice called her name and she turned,she almost gasped when she saw Lonnie walking toward her
“Lonnie?” She called and he smiled
“What are you doing here alone?” He asked
“I….was on my way to the restaurant and this stupid car broke down,the mechanic is on his way tho” She saud
“I’m also going to a restaurant,mind coming with me? Your car will be safe here,trust me” Lonnie said
“You want us to go to the restaurant together?” Melanie asked again and Lonnie nldded
“Or…you don’t want to?” He asked
“Why not? I’m Starving” she smiled and Lonnie chuckled
“You look cute” he said and Melanie’s cheeks turned red
She carried her bag and Lonnie opened the door for her
“Thanks” She muttered and entered the car
Lonnie joined her and drove off.
Minutes later,they arrived at the restaurant and they both stepped down from the car.
They entered and sat down,a waitress came over immediately to take their orders
“What do you want?” Lonnie asked Melanie
“I will just have spaghetti and fried Chicken” She said and Lonnie smiled
“That’s my best food” He said
“Oh wow” Melanie chuckled
“Give us the same thing,with drinks” Lonnie said to the waitress
“I will be right back” She said and walked away
“I think…today is the first time we are having a conversation” Lonnie said and Melanie smiled
“Yeah” She said
“I’ve always wanted to talk to you anyway” Lonnie muttered and Melanie blushed
“Do you have a boyfriend?” Lonnie asked
“No i don’t” Melanie immediately replied
“Thank goodness” Lonnie said
“Huh? Why?”
“I’m scared your boyfriend would destroy my handsome face if he sees us together” Lonnie replied and Melanie laughed
“I don’t have any” she said
The waitress returned with their food and they started eating.
Adam and Wright walked in together
“Are you that hungry that we can’t just go to a clubhouse instead of a restaurant?” Wright asked,looking around
“I’m hungry dude,there’s nothing to eat at the club,come on” Adam groaned as they finally sat down
“Oh oh,is that not Lonnie and Melanie?” Adam said and Wright turned to see them
“Are they dating?” He asked
“Seems so” Adam said and Wright scoffed
“They look good together” He muttered and Adam chuckled
“I guess,and we also look good together” he saud and Wright glared
“One word from you and I will leave” He threatened
“Of course boss” Adam winked
The waitress came over to their table

7PM≈RODRIGO’S APARTMENT
“You look so perfect baby” Cindy said
Annabella just finished dressing up for the date and she was looking as beautiful as ever.
“Thank you guys” she smiled,staring at herself in front of the mirror
Her phone suddenly rang
“I think he’s here” Aurora said,showing her the person calling,it’s Thadeus.
Annabella answered the call and then hanged up
“He’s here” She said nervously
“Breathe in and out baby girl,you gat this” Cindy said
“Thank you” Annabella muttered and went out
Thadeus was already outside the car,the moment Annabella showed up,he couldn’t take his eyes off
“Hi Mr Thadeus” Annabella smiled
“Wow” Thadeus muttered,staring at her
“You look so beautiful Anna” he said
“Thank you” Annabella said
Thadeus opened the door for her and she entered,he also got in and began driving.
After the thirty minutes drive,they stopped in front of one of the most expensive restaurant called EAT BIG
They got down from the car and Thadeus offered Annabella his hand and she looked at him before dropping her hand on his,Thadeus smiled and kissed the back of her hand which shocked her.
“Mr Thadeus!”
“You’re welcome sir!”
The workers all bowed as they entered,Thadeus waved at them all and they immediately led them to a VIP private room, the table was already set
“What do you think?” Thadeus asked,pulling back a seat for her
“Amazing” Annabella said and sat down
Thadeus smiled and also sat down opposite her.
“You really look so beautiful” He said and Annabella smiled
“Thank you” She said
“Let’s eat” he said,removing the cutleries for her
“Thank you” Annabella said again
They both started eating
“So…why did you dropped out from school?” Thadeus asked and Annabella looked up
“How…..did you know?” She asked
“Because I’m Thadeus” He replied
“I just….had to drop out because….of the money” Annabella muttered
“I can pay…..”
“No” Annabella cut in immediately and Thadeus raised his brows
“I’m sorry but…I just want to work for myself” she mumbled
“In that restaurant?? You think that will be possible?” Thadeus asked
“I will look for another job” Annabella said
“Then work with me” Thadeus said and she looked up
“I just want to help,you should work with me if you insist,I will pay you,what do you think?” He asked
Annabella sipped from her drink,she was rejected in Gregor’s mansion and she’s not even sure if Mrs Kim would call her back,but what if she calls back
“Anna?” Thadeus called
“Oh…I…I will just think about it” Annabella said and Thadeus nodded
“I will be waiting then” He said and Annabella smiled
“Thank you Mr Thadeus,you’re so nice” she said

NEXT MORNING≈RODRIGO’S APARTMENT
The continuous beeping of Annabella’s phone woke her up,she checked her phone and her eyes widened. Mrs Kim just sent her a message to start work immediately.
“Oh my God!!!!” She screamed and jumped out of bed
She dropped her phone and rushed into the bathroom
An hour later,she was already in the island. The door was opened for her easily again and she went in,she passed through the living room,it was empty. She took her phone and dialed Mrs Kim’s number but it was unavailable.
She saw few maids walking and she greeted them,but they only gave her a stare and walked away without saying a word
“Why’s everyone weird here?” She muttered and continue walking,she took the stairs
“Wow,how can a house be this big?” She muttered,still looking around. She finally saw another maid
“Hi” She said
“Oh,hello. I’m Maggie,are you new here?” The maid asked with a smile
“Yeah,Annabella” Annabella said
“So,where are you going?” Maggie asked
“The kids room” Annabella replied
“The fifth door” Maggie smiled
“Thank you” Annabella immediately said and turned,when she got to the fifth room door,she stopped and groaned
“Gosh,I should have asked if it’s the right turn or the left turn” She roughed her hair in confusion.
She turned to the right and then the left and in the end,she gently opened the door by the left.
Gregor just finished dressing up for work when Annabella came in,she immediately gasped out,her eyes widened
“Good morning sir!” She bowed
Gregor gave her a cold stare
“Why are you here?” He asked
“I’m sorry I….I….”
“Next time you come here,you’re getting fired” Gregor cut her off and she swallowed,avoiding his eyes which look so scary to her
“I’m sorry…”
“Get out” he cut her off again
Annabella bowed and immediately walked out of the room.
