Chapter 3

Somewhere behind a rock a man stayed watching the yard through his binoculars, he placed the objects down as he talked to his ear comm.
“I found them already”, he said
“Keep watching them, we are on our way”, said one of the assassins who immediately called the others attention as they walked out of the house in a group of about 25-30.

“Got you all”, the man with the binoculars said, taking steps backwards as he left the area unseen
The guests were actually getting used to their environment, while Thomas seemed to be getting along but not so well with his brothers.
As usual Thomas would go around the whole large area of land surveying it; this was a security ritual for him which seemed to have paid off.
He was surveying his area while the rest of the family were having their dinner meals later on, he went with his powerful white torch and came across a footprint which was made due to the w-t mud found in the area.
“Now what the hell is this”, he said pointing the torch on the footprint
He looked closely and saw that the footprint led to a rock and ended behind it.

“Looks like someone couldn’t keep their legs off my property” he observed bringing out a tape measurement and took the length.
“Shoe size 39, the person is average height”, he thought while he measured the depth of the print and it was a 1 inch thickness.
“Heavy weight”, Thomas said
He walked away whistling a song while the cold breeze gave him the goose bumps, he arrived into the house after completing his usual survey, to meet the family having dinner.
“So what’s for dinner folks”, Thomas said as he sat down but not before hanging his gun on the wall.
“Just meat balls and Spaghetti”, Benita said
“Really that is what I call yummy? “, he replied
“So what were you doing outside?” Joseph asked
“Just doing my normal stuff”, he replied
“Which is?” Joseph wife asked
“Security purposes”, He said
“So what did you find outside? “, harry asked
“Looks like someone know you all are here already”, Thomas said as he pressed a button on his bracelet which opened a door revealing lots of weapons.

“My God, Thomas were you a soldier”, harry and Joseph asked with ultimate shock on their faces.
“I was the army but now they call me the FORTIFIER”, he said standing up as he took a retina scan and went in,side to get his weapons while they just watched him in awe.
After 4 minutes of picking what he needed, Thomas closed the secret door and faced his brothers.
“If you both know what is good for you, take the whole family and go to room 87”, he said pressing a wristwatch which turned into a soldier battle suit.
“Why? “. Harry asked.

“Looks like the assassins already knows you all are here, now move got some people to kill”, Thomas said as he placed the weapons around him fixing them to his body.
While the family were about moving “And one last thing, don’t come out of there until I call you both out with the childhood nick name”
“Oh Alright be safe”, Joseph said
Making Thomas laugh out loud “Am always safe” he said as he went later on to whistle calling his horse and leaving the house.

“Go to room 87 and stay there”, he said as he rode into the darkness.
Thomas rode into the bushes as he climbed a tree and placed a motion sensor gun there climbing down and going to another tree, he placed all this in about 6 trees.

He had a tablet which he used in controlling and activating the motion sensor guns, he then rode with his horse to a thick bush, of course Thomas was a lucky guy he knew his large acre of land like the back of his hands.
“Now all I have to do is wait”, he said bringing out his sniper gun as he waited for the arrival of his prey just like a hunter.
“Boss we got their location already”, A man in black suit said
“Then what the hell are you all waiting for send the whole assassins and gangs to kill those idiots”, a man replied sitting on a golden chair crossed legged.

“There is a problem sir”, the man replied
“What is it this time? ‘, he asked with a stern look.
“They are in the home of the fortifier”, the man said
“Fortifier? Who the hell is that? “, the boss asked
“Criminals are afraid to venture into that man land”, the man said
“So you are saying nobody wants to go and kill this fools because of where they are belongs to just one man and that one man is stopping a total of 50 people, you must be kidding me”, he shouted angrily.
“Get the assassins and gangs and go there kill the idiots and kill the fortifier who the f×¢k ever he thinks he is”, the boss shouted angrily
“Alright sir”, the man said as he moved out to get everyone prepared for a bloody action faceoff.

“I didn’t even know my brother knew weapons”, harry said
“When did he even join the army”, Joseph asked
“Just pray he is safe”, Joseph wife said

“Am really surprised he had a secret door to weapons”, Harry said “What even surprised me he pressed something and a battle suit covered him up that is what I call mad tech”, Joseph chuckled. “Now that explains the flip he did when we first arrived”, harry said “Yeah it was just perfectly done”, Joseph said
‘Will you both just keep quiet and pray that he returns to us”, harry wife said “Mum are we going to be safe”, their kids asked
“Yes we will honey”, she replied as she held are kids.

“No need to fear am sure we will be safe”, harry said
Slowly Night turned into day and Thomas the fortifier was still awake waiting for his first victim at that moment
