“Don’t push me away……please” She muttered,sniffing in his sweet fragrance.

Royal sighed out and just stood there without moving until Angel moved back,breaking the hug.

“What was that for?” Royal asked and Angel took her lips in.

“I don’t really like hugs” Royal said.

“I’m not just anyone,I’m your…..oh the food” Angel immediately turned off tge cooker.

“Are you going somewhere?” Angel faced him back.

“Why should I answer that?” Royal asked and Angel chuckled.

Royal almost went out but then he turned back again.

“Do you like Christian?” He asked.

“Why are you asking?” Angel questioned back.

“I just want to know,you don’t think it’s too early for that now?” Royal asked.

“Well,I think he likes me” Angel smiled and Royal scoffed.

“You’re still thinking? He do like you obviously” He said and went out.

“Let’s eat together!” Angel shouted

“I’m not hungry” Royal replied distantly and Angel groaned.

“Such an iceman” She muttered,staring at the food she had prepared for them both.

The sound of her phone on the kitchen table made her look back,she walked to the table and took her phone,she just got a message from Christian.

Christian: WOULD YOU GO OUT WITH ME TONIGHT??

A smile escaped Angel’s lips and she didn’t think twice before texting back.

Angel: SURE I WOULD LOVE TO

Christian: WILL PICK YOU UP BY 7:00 THEN,SEE YOU.

Angel grinned and dropped her phone,she immediately ate and fed Pepper before running upstairs to go find something perfect to wear.

“Is this a date?” Angel asked herself as she opened her closet.

“Gosh i need to go shopping,what should I do? I will just ask mom this weekend,oh it’s the family dinner this weekend” Angel sighed out and kept on looking for what to where.

“What are you doing?” Royal entered the closet room snd Angel turned immediately.

“Wow,when did you get here?” She asked and turned back to continue her work.

“Where are you going?” Royal asked.

“Chris want us to go out together” Angel replied and Royal scoffed.

“You sound so happy right now Doll” Royal muttered and sat down,watching her.

“This is my first date by the way” Angel said.

“First?” Royal raised his brows.

“Don’t get me wrong,it’s not that guys never asked,it’s me who always declined” Angel explained.

“But you’re not rejecting Christian?” Royal asked.

“I want to go with him” Angel replied.

“Oh” Royal nodded and said no more.

Angel suddenly turned with a short red gown in her hand.

“What do you think?” She asked.

“How would I know if you don’t wear?” Royal scoffed.

“Okay” Angel said and went in,she came back wearing the red gown,it’s hardly covering her thighs

“No” Royal shook his head.

“Okay” Angel went in again and came back with a short black gown,it’s almost even shorter than the first.

“How about…..”

“No” Royal cut her off and she looked at him but he didn’t care.

Angel went back in again and came out with still another short dress.

“Hey,don’t you have anything longer at all? What the h*ll is all these?” Royal groaned.

“I already told you I only have short dresses because I love them” Angel replied.

“This isn’t short,it’s extra short short. And besides it’s not even a date like you’re thinking,he just asked you to go out with him,are you dressing to impress or something?” Royal complained and Angel was confused.

“Are we still on this my dressing stuffs?” She asked.

“Yes we are,you should learn how to dress properly when it’s not something so important” Royal rolled his eyes.

“Fine,then what should I wear?” Angel asked.

“Stay back,I will look for it myself” Royal stood up and Angel moved back,he almost opened one side if the closet but Angel grabbed his hand.

“You wouldn’t wanna see my underwears” She said.

“What’s new?” He scoffed and Angel gasped.

“I know you’ve seen a lot,you don’t have to brag about it” She rolled her eyes,watching as Royal search through her closet until finally he faced her.

“Here’s the perfect outfit” He said showing her the baggy cargo pants in his hand and a hoodie

“What? This?!” Angel’s eyes widened.

“Of course” Royal replied.

Angel shook her head.

“I can wear this” She took the Pant from him

“But that hoodie is a no,I will prefer a crop top” Angel smiled and Royal rolled his eyes.

“Thanks anyway” Angel said.

“Anyhow” Royal muttered and walked out of her room.

7PM**

Royal was in the living room with Pepper who kept trying her best to play with Royal but he wasn’t having any of it,he would push her away each time the poor dog climb on him.

“Does dogs flirts with handsome guys also?” Royal asked no one in particular.

“I mean,I know I’m handsome,everyone knows that,but does this thing like me or something?” He scoffed,finally carrying Pepper who wags it’s tail happily.

“Don’t you dare lick my face or you’re gone” Royal said.

The door bell rang and he got up,he walked out of the living room and went to open only to find Christian standing there.

Royal frowned but was interrupted by Angel’s footsteps.

“You’re here!” She said,smiling when she saw Christian.

Royal turned to look at her.

She was wearing the pants with a crop top like she said,her bellybutton looks so sexy and she had her hair done,brushed down. In a nutshell,she was looking hot.

“You look…..hot” Christian said,not taking his eyes off her.

“Thanks” Angel blushed and Royal scoffed.

“Let’s go” Christian gestures his hand to her and she took it.

“I will see you later brother……”

Royal ignored it and walked away.

“Oh” Angel muttered and turned back to Christian.

They both left the house together.

“Where are we going?” Angel asked while in the car.

“It’s your first time in London,don’t worry,there are alot of places I wanna take you to” Christian replied and Angel smiled

“I can’t wait” She said.

NEXT MORNING**

Angel entered Royal’s car,he’s been waiting for her. “I’m sorry for keeping you waiting” Angel apologized.

Royal said nothing and ignored her,he almost started the car but Angel held his hand,stopping him. He’s been ignoring her all morning and she’s confused why.

“Did I do something wrong? I thought we are good now” She muttered.

Royal said nothing.

“How am I supposed to know what I did if you’re not talking to me?”

“Last night” Royal said and Angel raised her brows.

“Where the h*ll did you go? You came home around 11pm,what do you think you’re doing? He’s not even your boyfriend yet” Royal said,looking so pissed.

Angel smiled and he frowned

“Is this something to smile about?” Royal asked.

“You were worried about me right?” Angel asked.

Royal ignored her and drove out of the compound.

“Okay i’m sorry,I didn’t know you would be worried or even care because you never acted like you care about me” Angel muttered.

“Do whatever you want next time,seems I’m just saying trash anyway since you like him so much” Royal said.

“No,I’m really sorry…..”

“It’s not about me,you’re a girl okay? You can go out with him but at most 9pm is enough” Royal said.

“Okay” Angel said.

There was silence till they got to school.

“See you later” Angel waved at him,he nodded and walked away.

RESTROOM**

“Isn’t that Spice face moisturizer?” Gracie asked Ginger and she smirked.

“Y’all know she can’t do without this once she wash her face” Ginger said.

“So what’s the plan?” Selena asked.

“I asked Drake for some chemical to burn her face,I don’t know the one he gave me but I don’t care,as long as that face get destroyed to irritate Royal,that’s all I want” Ginger said,mixing the chemical with the moisturizer

“Careful with your hand” Selena said.

“I’m done” Ginger smirked and closed it back,she washed her hand.

“I can’t wait for her to get ugly” Gracie said and they all laughed.

“Gracie,put this back into her locker. I’m sure she will come to the restroom in few hours” Ginger muttered,giving Gracie the tube.

“I know” Gracie grinned.

The three of them left the restroom together.

LECTURE HALL**

“Where were you last night? I called but you never answered” Ryan whispered to Royal as the lecture was going on.

“It’s a payback” Royal muttered.

“I can’t remember ignoring you that way” Ryan frowned.

“I can payback before you ignore me too” Royal replied.

“You’re crazy” Ryan chuckled.

“I know” Royal said.

“Royal Robert” The lecturer called,catching Royal talking. The students all turned to him immediately.

“Yes?” Royal answered.

“You were not listening in class…..”

“How did you know?” Royal asked and the class murmured.

“Coz you were busy chatting with Ryan of course” The Lecturer replied.

“I was listening…..”

“What was I saying then?” The lecturer snapped.

“Micro-sociolinguistics explores the ways in which society influences à speaker’s idiolect – meaning the specific language of a person – and how people communicate with one another in line with different social variables/factors” Royal said

“I see……but no more side talk” The lecturer continue teaching.

“Gosh,you sure you can get over this dude? You’ve been staring for five minutes straight girl” Selena said to Ginger who suddenly frowned when sbe saw Spice smiling at Royal.

“Bitch” Ginger cursed.

Some minutes later,the lecture was over

“I need to use the restroom” Spice said to Poppy and Alice as she stood up.

“I’m going to get a drink for us” Alice saud.

“I will follow you” Poppy said.

“Fine,I will see you two later” Spice brought out her small purse where she keeps her moisturizer. The reason why she’s always with it is because her face react so quick for everything,she get red face more faster than anyone else in the world,that’s her belief.

“She left with her doom” Gracie said and Ginger laughed,watching Spice left.

Royal also stood up and went after Spice.

“Why is Royal following her?” Selena asked.

They immediately stood up and went out of the class also to see what was going on.

Spice was still walking when Royal appeared beside her and she stopped walking.

“Royal” She smiled.

“Don’t use that” Royal muttered,taking her purse,he brought out the cream and Spice gave him a confused look.

“What’s wrong?” She asked.

Royal saw Ginger standing looking at them and he started walking to her.

“Hey Royal” Ginger smiled.

Royal grabbed her hand and opened the moisturizer

“What are you doing?” Ginger asked in shock,trying to get away.

Royal held her tightly and rubbed the cream on her arm

“Ahh!!;” she screamed out,the students passing stopped to watch

“Water!!” She screamed out in pain as the cream began burning her.

“What’s going on?” Spice asked,watching as Gracie and Selena poured water on Ginger’s arm.

“You should be careful with your things” Royal muttered and walked away.

“What happened?” Poppy and Alice asked Spice.

Spice said nothing and walked over to Ginger angrily,she got to her and slapped her face loudly.

“How dare you mess with me?!! You want to destroy my face?!! You animal!!” She yelled angrily.

“I see you started f**king him already and he’s now having your back” Ginger saud.

“No,you’re wrong. I’ve not even started yet,but what about you? You gave him free pussy for months and he still dump you,I can’t even point at one time that he ever had your back,you should be ashamed of yourself,Deep wide hole” Spice said and pushed her out of her wat.

Tears rolled down Ginger’s eyes and she ran away

“Ginger!” Selena and Gracie ran after her.

AN EMPTY CLASSROOM**

Angel entered and met Christian waiting for her,he turned and they smiled at each other.

“Come here Twinkle” Christian said and she chuckled before going closer to him.

“Really? Twinkle?” She grinned.

“I told you your beauty is like the stars…Twinkle twinkle little stars” Christian said,demonstrating with her fingers and Angel laughed.

“Why am I here?” She asked.

“You left this last night” Christian said,raising her necklace for her to see.

“Oh,I didn’t notice” She said

“Carelessness is that you?” Christian shook his head and Angel pouted.

“Don’t judge me” She whispered.

“Don’t move” Christian muttered and moved closer to her,she stood still as he lean closer and wore the necklace around her neck,after he was done,he looked down at her lips and Angel looked up,their faces so close to each other.

They kept staring into each other’s face without blinking,but Christian’s eyes were on her lips. He began leaning closer,Angel swallowed hard but didn’t move,is her first kiss finally happening??

Royal was walking outside,along the window side,he was going to smoke when he saw them,a frown appeared on his face immediately and he brought out hus phone.

Christian’s lips almost touched Angel’s own when her phone buzzed,she looked away and checked.

Iceman: MEET ME IN THE SCHOOL ROOFTOP…

Angel ignored it and turned back right Christian but then another message came in which she also checked.

Iceman: YOU WANT ME TO START BEING CARING,BE HERE IN TWO MINUTES OR FORGET ABOUT IT.

Angel’s eyes widened and she immediately faced Christian.

“I need to…….” Before Angel could finish,Christian’s lips landed on hers and her phone dropped from her hand.

Royal looked in and his fists folded angrily when he saw that.
